Super tasty, super nice, very clean, a bit expensive but worth it

For me, the best restaurant in the entire area!!! Incredibly delicious food, super friendly service, and the manager came to my aid because I was allergic to an ingredient in the sauce to offer me an alternative. Now that's what I call service and an attentive manager. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. All the dishes, from the chicken skewers to the burgers, were fresh and of the highest quality. The value for money is also excellent. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

Cozy restaurant. We didn't make a reservation, there was no room in the restaurant itself, but the lady thought along and we could sit in the conservatory. Super friendly staff, and delicious food. Meat and fish are fresh and well prepared.

We were in Rixx for the third time yesterday and can still recommend the restaurant. Here is the reason: Ambiance: There are 3 areas. Indoor, outdoor and "semi-outdoor" (like in the winter garden) with around 25 seats each. We always made reservations, which was perhaps a good thing. It was always quite busy. It's cozy, rather dark. Eat: The food there is really great. Especially the grilled dishes - these have a very pleasant smoky aroma. We all enjoyed it very much. The portions are large enough (neither too much nor too little). Service: The waitresses were attentive and tried hard, but sometimes seemed a bit bored/in a bad mood. Maybe it was just that evening. It was a bit difficult to understand at times (especially with special requests), but otherwise it was okay. In an emergency, the owner speaks good German. :) Miscellaneous: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. There are enough parking spaces in the area (off-season). A small suggestion for improvement: Apple crumble has been prepared “soft” since 2025. Unusual in our opinion. Normally this should be rather crispy on the surface. It was confirmed to us that the preparation was correct. We were offered a replacement, which we then declined. The dessert was then kindly taken off the bill. We'll definitely be back and give dessert another chance. :)

Wir kommen jedes Jahr hierher, wenn wir im Urlaub eine Date-Night haben und sind bisher zufrieden. Der Rixx Burger ist sehr lecker und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam.

Day in Westkapelle.. Discovered this cozy spot by chance with a nice terrace at the back. Super friendly hostess and nice lunch menu. The Rixx burger is highly recommended; what a juicy, grilled beef burger🤤 Dogs also welcome and were even offered a bowl of water. I thought bottled beers were a bit on the expensive side, but after visiting 2 other terraces the prices were in line with other catering establishments in Zeeland. Special beer is apparently starting to become a luxury product in the Netherlands. But we will definitely come back here to enjoy an evening dinner☺️

Very cozy restaurant with first class service and very tasty Rixx Burger. For me personally it could have been more sauce, but the taste was very tasty.

Wow, what a nice cozy but especially tasty restaurant in west Kapelle, we went for the tenderloin and the entrecote! These were incredibly tasty and customer friendliness is of paramount importance. Hier gereserveerd op basis van de aanbevelingen door B&B waar we verbleven. We hebben ons dit geen moment beklaagd. Top top top in deze categorie! Uitmuntende burgers, uitstekend vlees, maar ook verscheidene verrassende pareltjes op de kaart. Falafel waarvan het water me nog steeds in de mond stroomt… succulent!, gegrilde ganzenlever op brioche… yay! Lekkere wijntjes. Wij zijn met een wow-gevoel buitengegaan. Een adres om te onthouden.

Heerlijk gegeten, dit is wat een goede kok met eerste klas producten kan doen ! ! Jammer dat de bediening deze lijn niet voort kan zetten! Drie tafeltjes moet toch te doen zijn lijkt me. Er werd vrijwel niet op de gasten gelet. Het schoteltje met de rekening en het geld hebben we zelf maar meegenomen naar voren en ingeleverd omdat het niet vlot werd werd opgehaald

Restaurant Rixx in Westkapelle. If you like a tasty piece of meat, restaurant Rixx in Westkapelle is the place to be. We had a delicious meal there tonight and enjoyed the steak tasting. Really tender and served heated in a heated cast iron pan and heated plates. So that all the meat stays nice and warm. The dessert was also fantastic. The hostess and service were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back here!!!

Restaurant Rixx in Westkapelle. Als u van een lekker stuk vlees houdt, dan is restaurant Rixx in Westkapelle the plase to be. Wij hebben er vanavond heerlijk gegeten en genoten van de Steak proeverij. Echt botermals en verwarmd geserveerd in een verwarmde gietijzeren pan en verwarmde borden. Zodat al het vlees heerlijk warm blijft. Ook het nagerecht was formidabele. De gastvrouw en bediening waren zeer vriendelijk en attent. Wij komen hier zeker terug!!!

An all-round great evening, very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant itself is also very nicely decorated and invites you to linger. The food is also simply perfect, there is nothing to complain about, I would come back at any time.

Food wasn't that tasty. What it looked like and also way too expensive for what you got. Fries were very dark and hard and tasted like they were fried in old oil. Spicy mayo, tasted like nothing. The only tasty thing were the 3 Krappenchips.

Been for the 5th time. For us it is a 300km drive there and back. But I happily drive up and down for this super tent! Where to start?... The brownies are absolutely delicious! The pita and flatbread with dip.. WOW! Really tasty! You must have had the Rixx plank! What delicious snacks! And then the Beef Tenderloin...phew. Really perfect! Tuna was also crazy good! For dessert the apple crumble. Top top top! Everything they make here is fantastic! We have now had the entire menu and everything was truly sublime! We will definitely come back again! Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier, und können die bisherigen Bewertungen nur bestätigen. Das Essen war echt lecker und der Service prima. Wir haben uns für diverse kleine Speisen entschieden, und das war wie ein kleiner Tapas Abend. Nächstes Mal würde ich einen Burger probieren.

Discovered the Rixx by chance on a bike ride. A bit away from the center. Outdoor area manageable. Like the interior design. Varied menu with dishes that you won't find on every menu. Only ate a few small things - but left me wanting more.

Went by bike and took a leisurely coffee break there. It wasn't that crowded and really comfortable

Het was ons favoriete restaurant in Zeeland maar nu is er geen vegetarische plank meer en de losse gerechten worden minder bijzonder, jammer!!

The three of us were looking for a good dinner and initially walked past Rixx several times because it didn't look like much from the outside. But a look at the displayed menu piqued our interest. All the tables inside were reserved, but there was still plenty of space on the terrace. The service was attentive and professional, drinks and food came to the table relatively quickly. My wife had the beef carpaccio and the flatbread with goat cheese, my son had the Rixx burger and I had the chicken burger. Unfortunately, my chicken burger was a bit dry because there wasn't enough sauce in relation to the nacho breading for my taste. The meat was also a bit overcooked in my opinion. I didn't notice the pickled jalapenos. I think I should have called in and ordered more sauce. Given the excellent coordination of the other dishes, I assume that my burger was a slip-up that can happen, which is why I still give the food 5 stars. Everything else was fantastic. The Rixx burger was one of the best burgers we have ever tried. Perfectly medium grilled steak quality patty, very tasty sauce and homemade pickles. The fries and the Asian-inspired dressing of the side salad were very good and my wife's two starters, especially the carpaccio, were an experience. Finally we had the apple crumble with homemade vanilla ice cream, the coconut sorbet and the passion fruit ice cream. The dessert was also consistently top class. You can tell that there is someone in the kitchen who knows his craft and does everything himself with great attention to detail. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Westkapelle. Then I'll also take the Rixx burger ^^

Super tasty burgers. We had the Rixx burger and the chicken burger. Both tasted excellent. The fries and side salad were also great. Very attentive and friendly service. The prices are very reasonable for local conditions. Absolute recommendation.

Very good ribeye steak with 2 great sauces. The fries, which can be ordered again and again, were also very tasty.

The family had asked for burgers and that was what they had. Were okay, nothing special. The grilled avocado was designated as the main course and in my opinion it wasn't enough for it. Doesn't justify the price to be paid. Overall, not a good price-performance ratio. The apple crumble for dessert was very tasty.

Wir waren 3 x dort und egal was wir bestellt hatten, alles war mega lecker besonders habe ich mich in das fladenbrot mit Ziegenkäse verliebt. Bedienung und Chefin sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Wir können dieses Lokal jedem empfehlen der in Westkapelle ist. Es grüßen die beiden Kölner mit dem alten Hund der einen ruhigen Stammplatz jedesmal hatte. Dafür auch 1000 dank . Wir wünschen alles Gute

Very nice, small restaurant! Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but like a fast food restaurant, the inside is very cozy and well-kept. Food from the charcoal oven! Absolutely delicious burgers with a small salad with great dressing. Super nice staff, we were given a place in the corner with our dog. Beers on tap, there are also tapas and a few other dishes. Menu clear and not that huge. We'll go there again!!!

We found the Rixx by chance during a one-day excursion to Zeeland. What a lovely restaurant. My wife had the grilled fish of the day (monkfish) and I had the Rixx Burger. Service was quick & efficient. Overall a nice experience.

We were at Rixx at different times of the day. The (relatively) small restaurant is very comfortably furnished and has a good, not overwhelming selection of food and drinks. The service is friendly and always strives to ensure that the guests are satisfied. All of the dishes (including those on the neighboring tables...) are beautifully prepared and taste fresh and skillfully prepared. A reservation is probably advisable during the season.

Wonderful lunch with family and friends

Kleiner Tisch mit Blick an die Wand direkt am WC-Eingang. Gruß aus der Küche an der Vegetarier: Fisch! Essen gut aussehend, geschmacklich zwischen „keine Ahnung was das ist aber schmeckt auch nicht“ bis „nicht genießbar obwohl erkannt“. Sehr enttäuschend da relativ hochpreisig. Personal grundsätzlich freundlich.

Gleich wenn man reinkommt ist es sehr gemütlich hier. Wir worden Bett begrüßt und direkt auf deutsch gefragt, ob wir was essen wollen. Die Falafel-Vorspeise und der Burger waren unsere Wahl. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker, ich habe die letzten Jahre jedenfalls keine so guten Burger, wie hier gegessen. Saftiges Fleisch, aber kein durchweichtes Brötchen, gute Mischung an Gurken, Sauce und Salat, krosse Pommes dazu und ein kleiner Salat dabei.Wir haben uns sehr wohl hier gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klar Empfehlung für leckeres und gemütliches Essen in Westkapelle. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt - für uns jedenfalls.
