Service was (this time) lacking. The food was reasonable. Good food, but nothing special. The price wasn't expensive, but it wasn't cheap.

The food was okay. Nothing special. The service, however, was terrible. A while ago, we went here with a group of friends for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation well in advance, but when we arrived, there was no table ready, so we had to wait awkwardly until they put some tables together in a corner (so why do we make reservations?). They only asked us once the entire evening if we wanted drinks. The staff were not friendly. We won't be back.

A starter and main course, both were perfectly prepared.

The food wasn't great. I had the hamburger, but it was a bit dry, and we had to wait a very long time. We had to ask twice where our food was. Normally, you'd expect to receive some compensation... of course, things can always go wrong. But unfortunately, there was no apology. It's a shame. The atmosphere was certainly fine. A nice, cozy place. The dessert was good and beautifully presented. Maybe we were just unlucky and they were too busy at the time... still a shame. I don't think I'd go back again...

Great location with friendly service. It was busy and the staff had to work hard. The starter was good, but the main course and dessert weren't. Two people had allergies (which we had communicated), but nothing was done about it and there was no alternative. The location and atmosphere are good, the service is hardworking, but you don't go for the food.

Lovely terrace by the harbor. More people had discovered that, but it wasn't a problem. Friendly and fast staff! The apple pie was disappointing, as was the whipped cream.

The smoked eel wasn't fresh at all, just like last time. The mussels were also very bad, unlike last time. Mediocre, Mediocre, I'll look elsewhere.

Das Restaurant ist voll besetzt. Nur am Wasser ist eine Reihe kleinerer Tische bei Superwetter frei. Ich bitte darum, an einem der Tische etwas trinken zu dürfen. No, this part of the restaurant is closed. Ich biete an, ein Bier an der Bar zu kaufen, es sofort zu bezahlen, an einem der Tische draußen zu trinken und das Glas auch wieder nach drinnen zu bringen. Keine Chance. It is closed! No, no, no! Kein sorry, kein Bedauern. Nur ein Herr, der eine Dame von oben abkanzelt. Ich habe mich selten so alleine und herabgesetzt gefühlt. Gestern noch habe ich ebenso alleine einen Umsatz von 50 Euro inklusive großzügigem Trinkgeld gemacht. Das wird nie wieder passieren.

You can have a wonderful lunch here by the water. They have a great lunch platter concept where you can choose three small dishes—really great!

Food was very disappointing. Idea that everything came from the freezer. Too bad

Thought we would have a nice meal after sailing, but no. After waiting half an hour for drinks we got the wrong one, he brought the wrong drink back but never got the right one. We went to the bar to get it ourselves. The chicken satay that came half an hour later tasted like it came from the freezer, the burger was okay. After asking for the bill 3 times we went back to the bar ourselves and after indicating this was laughed off. Never again for us.

We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, I ordered drinks that never arrived. My 2nd dish arrived cold and late when everyone else had their dish on the table.

Nice restaurant at the harbor. We went there for lunch and it was very good and tasty. Many vegetarian options and even sushi. We could sit down right away and were helped quickly.

We came here for a ‘recovery’ dinner from 2 years ago. When we entered, no one was interested in serving us. Someone complained to his colleague about us sitting at a reserved table while we were just placed here. After 15 minutes we just left. We will never come here again.

We order sushi here regularly and it is always a hit! The quality is consistent and even if you eat on site it is a nice place. Last time something was unfortunately forgotten with the order, that can happen of course, but the follow-up delivery took a while. Personally I would like it if there were more sauces included. Otherwise a really great place - we will definitely come back here!

Certainly not bad and the service really does their best. The sushi was a bit disappointing, not refined but tasty. Terrace a bit busy, lots of tables and little atmosphere. Not really our thing, but perfect for the less spoiled guests and there are quite a few of them. All in all fine

Great place. Compliments to the staff! We went in with the kids after a walk to just drink coffee/water, and the service was like for VIP guests.

Looks like a great lager, nice half litre. But after it was gone, I was immediately dry for at least 20 minutes. I walked around waving at the waiter, but they didn't come either, even waving with my empty glass of beer. Had high expectations of this tent near the water, but they did not deliver. I can't judge the food, because I didn't even have time to order appetizers.

Me and my wife like to go to this address. We always receive excellent service from the staff.

Thought we would have a nice lunch. No baguette on lunch platter. Dessert was inedible. Italian dessert. The canolis were rock hard, ice cream was watery, cookies were so hard they almost broke your teeth in half. The strawberries were sooo sour and hard. So really a major setback.

Nice location, but after having lunch there twice in recent months, we unfortunately have to conclude that we don't think it tastes that special, it just isn't all that great. can be better.

The terrace is perfect for sitting next to the harbor of Drimmelen. The sushi and poke bowls are very tasty and freshly prepared. They also deliver to your home here in Lage Zwaluwe, always within an hour. Friendly delivery people and always enjoy!! Tip: the Spicy salmon pokebowl is delicious!

Have eaten at Wittehuis several times and have always been satisfied. But the last time a staff member no longer felt like offering us a desert. But getting an ice cream from the rich restaurant was also tasty

We had ordered 2 carpaccio sandwiches, and they were supposed to be delivered to our home (ordered 3:30 PM) and it was finally delivered, 1.30 hours later!! That seems very long for 2 sandwiches? The quality of the sandwiches was very poor. And so very expensive for what we got. So I would definitely advise against this for online ordering. The food in the restaurant is always delicious!!

Hartelijk ontvangst fijn personeel.Omdat ook zij met personeelgebrek kampen echt respect hoe snel en vriendlijk je geholpen wordt. Heerlijken eten ook de keuze mogelijkheden bij het 12 uurtje super origineel. Prijs kwaliteit is prima. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n lekkere saesarsalade op!! Wij komen er graag. Fijne locatie kortom TOP

I order a drink and after 15 minutes still no drink. Waiter says he will come right away. After 32 minutes still no drink. The waiter says it will happen soon. After 45 minutes still no drink. Seems forgotten by the system. I advise people not to drink at the White House. Staff has no interest in the well-being of the customer.

The waitress seemed very rude and uninterested. She also didn't seem to understand what she was being told. After waiting 20 minutes we were asked if we wanted something to drink. We then said that we could also order the food, because we already knew that. The response to this was very antisocial. We had chosen the small dishes for lunch and had kindly asked if ham could be added to the healthy sandwich. This was fine, but then we received a sandwich with no ham and no top of the bun. When we reported this, we were told that this was because we had ordered without ham. Because we had someone with a service dog with us, we asked for a bowl of water. It was a very hot day. We had to ask for this 3 times before we got it. When we asked the second time, the waitress said to her colleague “yes in a moment” and completely ignored us. Finally, her colleague, who seemed to be in the manager or team leader role, finally brought the bowl of water. We immediately told him that the waitress seemed very grumpy. There was no response and he simply walked away. The food was okay, but it was certainly not worth the price. The 3 stars for the atmosphere are for the environment where this restaurant is located, but because the pleasant atmosphere was ruined by the staff, this restaurant does not deserve more than 3. The blond young boy who works there did his best and was quite friendly.

It was my first time eating at The White House. What struck me was that it was quite busy, but pleasant. We had made a reservation and were able to sit outside. The employees are very friendly and made sure we didn't miss anything. We ordered a delicious sushi dish whose presentation was absolutely fantastic: a ship! We then enjoyed the main menu which was served with fresh fries. Afterwards we had a nice drink. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely come back here again.

We enjoyed the Poké bowl. Was nicer there. We were helped quickly. Very happy that we could enjoy a day in the Biesbosch here. And would love to come back again.

The food is delicious, fresh and well prepared. Highly recommended and value for money. Unfortunately the service is not good. We have now been twice in a short time and from now on we will just stick to takeaway. The food and drinks are brought, but that is where the service ends. It's really a shame, invest in the basics of being a host/hostess. Consciously welcome someone, put the guests at ease, ask again if everything is tasty in between. Don't talk to each other constantly while the guests can hear "I'm going to smoke a cigarette before the real fuss starts!". Have the staff undergo good training together and then appoint 1 senior during the evening who will keep an overview and keep the rest on their toes.

Voor de naam van het restaurant zijn ze het niet ver gaan zoeken, al zou je het ook het "glazen" huis kunnen noemen. Wij kwamen er eerder toevallig terecht omdat alles in Drimmelen de deuren dicht had. Met een beetje angst voor wat komen zou bestelden we sushi, maar dat was nergens voor nodig. Alle gekozen stukken kwamen snel, voorbeeldig gepresenteerd en vers. Het personeel was vriendelijk maar toch ook een beetje afstandelijk. Wij hebben hier lekker gegeten en over de rekening ook geen klachten. Om terug te komen!

Nice location at the Drimmelen marina. Extensive menu including sushi. Nice lunch menu with a kind of twelve hour menu where you can choose 3 dishes from 30 dishes. Something for everyone. Reasonable prices. Terrace outside.

Fish & chips not recommended. Only a few pieces of fish fried too hard. Little fish in it and dry. Crust far too hard and the herbs on it too overpowering. With many main courses there are no fries but puree of peas. You have to order for an extra 5 euros. Nice location on the harbor with hyoot terrace. But price/quality ratio could be better.

Had dinner with a group of friends yesterday. Only 1 vegetarian meal on the menu. When ordering the bottle of white wine, it was stated that it was not cold. The lady's response was that it was not possible. She didn't come to check and didn't do anything else with it. Too bad because the food was good. She should have offered new cold bottle.

Na een flinke hagelbui konden we hier lekker opwarmen met warme chocolademelk en appelflappen. De bediening was ook erg vriendelijk

The food was excellent, but the fries are quite pricey for a small basket. Matalot fish was also not much (quantity), the bavette on the other hand was fine.

Delicious food. Had to deal with multiple allergies with the people at the table and everything was well thought out! Compliments! Gluten-free so definitely recommended! Unfortunately, the sushi was not gluten-free, but it was a delicious dinner for everyone else!
