Restaurant 't Voske in Wijk 01 Drimmelen

Not our thing. We ordered fish soup, “would you like bread with that? Yes please.” Cost: €1.50 extra for 1 slice of bread without butter. We are not used to that. Moreover, it was too much trouble to put out a few extra parasols to provide some more shade.

Very beautiful terrace by the water and super friendly service. The ladies' restroom is a bit cramped. Everything was super neat and clean, and we had a delicious lunch and enjoyed the view. Thank you

We had a delicious meal and received a very friendly welcome. Definitely recommended. We were able to moor our kayaks at the restaurant's dock here.

We couldn't sit in front of the restaurant by the river (closed off), but on a fairly basic terrace on a large deck next to the building, though with a view of the river. Tasty lunch. Very high proportion of 70+ patrons and cyclists when we were there. Friendly service, but pay inside. Doesn't help with the tip. Closed earlier due to a group reservation. I think there is definitely more potential here.

Friendly staff! Prices are a bit high though. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality of the food is superb! The shrimp croquettes were actually made on-site and you can taste it. No wholesale junk. The chicken satay was a bit standard, though, and unfortunately only 2 skewers. No option for an extra charge; I would have had to order the whole dish again. The mussels here are also really great. Fresh and well prepared. The quantity is good, although the price is quite steep here too. The staff is incredibly friendly and served incredibly quickly. We were politely waved over when our main course arrived while we were smoking outside on the terrace. Dessert was also very good and all the food was beautifully presented, so this is definitely highly recommended.

Unfriendly staff. I arrived to ask if they happened to have room for a larger group to grab a quick bite. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, which is understandable and fine, but the way the lady addressed us and showed us the door: asking if we were joking? Not exactly customer-friendly; it certainly doesn't encourage me to try again another time…

Terrible coffee and an expensive carpaccio sandwich with tough bread and a stale seed mix. The location is nice, but that was about all there was to say.

The food is good. It's a shame the coffee creamer was curdled. It was very nice though. The old Dutch games were fun, but something really needs to be done about the maintenance of the games.

Bad and very customer-unfriendly staff! The terrace had to be cleared as soon as possible starting at 16:15. Signs everywhere said reserved from 17:00! So after 1 order we had to leave…….! It wasn't even 16:30 yet!!!!! Ridiculous!!!! So for the time being, I am never coming here again!

A solid 10 for Het Voske. We had a family party. The food was delicious, the service excellent. It's a cozy and beautiful restaurant with the most beautiful view of the river and the Biesbosch National Park.

We had a family reunion at 't Voske, followed by a boat trip through the Biesbosch National Park on the Zilvermeeuw (Historic Sea Gull). We had booked this months in advance, and everything was arranged perfectly. We received timely emails with any questions. They were very helpful, and during the meeting, everything was well-organized, and the staff were very friendly. 't Voske has its own jetty, making it easy for us to board the Zilvermeeuw. Everyone in our group had a wonderful and enjoyable day. 't Voske with the Zilvermeeuw is highly recommended.

We used to go here a lot as kids with our parents. We'd eat mussels and watch the boats outside. So we went there to reminisce. It still looks the same as it did 30 years ago. Of course, some things have probably changed, but it still felt the same. Because it was summer, we sat outside. The terrace by the water is cozy, but every table has a sign saying it's reserved after 5:00 PM. Nice and all right, but I don't care about that at 12:30 PM when I'm there for lunch. It immediately makes me feel unwelcoming. Drimmelen is on the water, so you know it can be a bit more expensive, but I pay even more here than at the hotspot in the heart of Utrecht. The price-quality ratio isn't right for me at this location. So, when I pay, I just assume they've already included their tip in the price.

Location: 5 stars Food: excellent, simple but tasty

Just been for dinner, but unfortunately, the service was very poor. Because we arrived at 4 p.m., we could only order from the drinks menu, while our neighbors could order from the menu for a few minutes. After we reported this to the waitress in question, we received a very businesslike but vague response. Otherwise, the appetizers were very tasty.

Excellent fish served with a perfect wine sauce. We were served very friendly and quickly. Beautiful view over the river. What also struck me was the relaxed acoustics; very quiet. A place to come and eat more often. Recommended.

Nice place to sit, friendly and attentive staff. Limited menu and the food varies in quality. That varies from 'pretty good' to 'how dare you put this in front of someone'. Unfortunately, for some time now the manager has been clearing the terrace of 'bubbling' guests in a particularly unsympathetic manner from around 4:30 PM. I understand that a table where people dine is more profitable than a table where people want to have a quiet drink and enjoy the location, but this is really not nice. What would be nice: Mention on the terrace and on the website that the terrace is only open after 5:00 PM for guests who come to dine. In any case, we are done with it and from now on we will go to the White House (more extensive menu and much better food) or to More-itz (nice location)

We eat there regularly and it is always delicious. You should especially try the beautiful and delicious sangria. A nice terrace from which you can look out over the water in good weather and from inside in winter.

Very friendly staff. Chairs on the terrace are worthless, but the owner is already busy looking for new ones. Update: There are now lovely new chairs! Furthermore, a nice place to sit. When the weather is nice, the beautiful places fill up quickly.

Een mooi terras in de zon aan het water. Heerlijke goedgevulde sangria. We hebben nu niet gegeten, maar als we dat wel doen is het altijd top. En tegen redelijke prijzen!

Eten ( tong ) was echt super..!! Het ( zeeeeeeer ) lange wachten waard.

Wat een geweldige tent. Heerlijke tournedos gegeten die zo mals was als boter. Voorgerecht met zalm was ook overheerlijk. Mooi opgemaakte borden en dat alles onder het genot van een adembenemend uitzicht over de Amer. De service was echt heel fijn ook door haar jarenlange ervaring. Echt de moeite waard.

Heerlijk eten voor een eerlijk prijs. Lekkere smaak combinaties, goed gekruid maar niet te zout. Bedienning super vriendelijk ook met kinderen eten super gezellig en lekker. Heel leuk uitzicht!

Mooie lokatie aan het water, nette zaak, goed eten en betaalbaar. Vlotte bediening.

Ouderwetse maar knusse tent met mooi uitzicht. Drank prima. Eten ver onder de maat. Goedkope slechte bitterballen, kroketten droevig (waarom niet wat meer ambachtelijk?), broodje carpaccio en tosti maakten de tafelgenoten ook niet blij.

Eten was prima, brood was wel iets hard/oud maar verder oke. Goede porties. Wel een uur zitten wachten terwijl het helemaal niet druk was. We komen terug want we kijken erg uit naar het terrasseizoen en om de cocktails te proberen.
