Hinoki Noodle Soup in Rotterdam Centrum

I come here often with my family. Everything is super delicious and fresh. The ramen base is delightful. The portions are also generous compared to other ramen restaurants. The friendly service is excellent! Other restaurants could learn from that. The only downside is that you sometimes have to wait a bit longer for a table during busy times, but that's a testament to its popularity. The tables are close together, but the atmosphere is still good. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the patio.

Delicious noodle soup And dumplings

I think it might be some of the best ramen I've ever had. Delicious. The service was excellent. The ramen is quite large, so you can share it.

As someone who loves tsukemen with a passion and has tried tsukemen from Japan and from many other Asian countries, the dipping sauce of the tsukemen here is too watery and diluted for me. It felt more like a dipping soup than a dipping sauce. The ramen was springy and chewy though! It was nice! Also had their miso ramen and it wasn’t too bad. Came on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was packed. The service staff were awesome ☺️

I’ve watched the place grow from barely filled to extremely hard to get into these days, and the quality is unmatched. Still the best ramen I’ve had in Europe

So I went, hoping my impressions were accurate. And yes: The food was truly delicious! The ramen had an incredibly good flavor – intense, balanced, and very aromatic. Unfortunately, the soup was only lukewarm, which was a minor drawback for me. In terms of taste, however, it absolutely scored top marks. The fresh ingredients served with it were also excellent. Everything seemed freshly prepared and lovingly presented. Overall, I would give the restaurant 4 out of 5 stars – the one star deducted is only due to the temperature of the soup. The value for money is perfectly fine, and I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. Conclusion: It's worth a visit!

The food is really good! The Tan Tan Men 🥵😍 You never have to wait long, even when it's packed, it's just great. The price/quality ratio is good, and the service is great too; the bald guy is incredibly friendly. The decor is a bit simple, but it's neat and tidy, and everything is well-maintained and clean. Highly recommended, and we love coming here!

Very authentic ramen, the portion is huge

Nothing to get excited about. Maybe the ramen is good, but the other dishes are very average. I ordered the fried chicken with rice. Chicken very rubbery, rice dry, a bit of leek outstandingly tough. Premises quite small but clean, service ok.

In times where ramen has become such a popular dish, sometimes it’s hard to find a place where you now you’ll always have a tasty, good prepared traditional Ramen. Kinoki’s is a must go. I got this place recommended by a Japanese friend who tried several Ramen places in Rotterdam. It’s always a pleasure to be there! I recommend to have in mind that most of the time you will have to wait to be seated, as it gets really crowded. I like to arrive around 12 (not so busy) and have an early lunch.

Very authentic and in my opinion, it’s the best Ramen in Netherlands.

Unfortunately, I missed a lot with the Tonkatsu. It certainly wasn't bad, but still... The broth cooled down very quickly because the meat was cold, and the egg wasn't warm either. I'll give it another try. Maybe try a different flavor. For now, it's a 3-star rating for the food, but that could change.

Best ramen ever, same level as in Japan. Only drawback is the small restaurant and busy waitinglines. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes during lunch/dinner and hours. Expect to pay about €25 for a ramen, side dish and beer.

An excellent place for Japanese food. We had the special ramen, and the broth was really good, the pork excellent. The only drawback for me was the little red strips - beni shoga - that float around the broth are not a good addition. They're bitter and distract from the flavor rather than add to it. Oh and Yuzu grapefruit drink was great. The service was really nice too, all in all - a great place to visit for Japanese food.

I visited by chance. The shop is located next to an artificial surfing spot. It was very popular at noon. Seeing such a high popularity, I decided to give it a try. I didn't have high expectations, but it exceeded my expectations by a lot. I think one of the reasons why Hinoki exceeded my expectations is "authenticity". All the items I ordered this time, from fried dumplings to fried chicken and noodles, were not unlike what I tasted in Japan. I never thought that I would taste comfort food that was so similar to what I tasted in Japan on a street corner in Rotterdam. Another part that exceeded my expectations was the deliciousness. The fried dumplings and fried chicken were fine (also delicious), but what should I say about the main dish, the tsukemen? The noodles are chewy, worthy of being imported directly from Sapporo Nishiyama, and the pork slices are delicious. The pork, soft-boiled egg, and noodles alone are rich enough in flavor, and because it is cold dipped noodles, the taste is refreshing. The refreshing and rich, two seemingly conflicting characteristics, form a bright and beautiful contrast together, but of course, the hot soup that is probably ten times richer than the food will bring the whole noodles to another realm. Dipping the noodles, meat, and eggs in the soup will have a different flavor, and there is another beautiful contrast between cold and hot. In addition, although the soup is thick, it is not too salty, and even a few sips are OK. Overall, it is a wonderful and satisfying bowl of noodles. If you happen to be near Rotterdam, you can try it.

Best ramen I have never eaten such delicious ramen

I’m really picky when it comes to ramen and I can say that this is one of the best ramen restaurants I’ve even been. Really good quality and the staff is super kind. Definitely will come back again!

As an infrequent visitor of Japanese restaurants, let alone a ramen restaurant, usually prefering stir-fried, this place was a very nice surprise. Casual with a nice Japanese touch in the design, the promised wait of 20-25minutes for a table was completely absent. The staff very welcoming, extremely polite for Dutch standards, thankfully offered clear advice on drinks and food, allowing all of us to find exactly what we liked. Food came quickly after drinks, and it was nothing short of delicious - we might just develop a taste for ramen still. We chose indoor seating, airco felt a bit strong, also music was quite audible.

To be honest, the food here tastes OK, but the ramen is very light. But you need hot water, which costs 0.5 euros. But this is not the most outrageous thing. A waiter here is simply discriminatory! ! When we came, there were two big tables and two small tables. He arranged us at the small table next to the toilet. I asked if we could change to a big table. He said it was reserved for more people. It was very understandable, so we changed to the small table next door. Then, a ridiculous thing happened. Two foreigners came, and he warmly invited them to sit at the big table. The two ordered a small meatball and left after eating. What was outrageous was that another foreigner came and ordered a rice, and sat at the big table again. It was really great!

A close walk from the Blaak Metro Station, the food was amazing and the service very attentive. The ramen was amazing and was a huge serving. The beer was ice cold and delicious. I would recommend it to anyone making the trip into Rotterdam!

I ate the traditional tokyo ramen. For me is quite salty the soep and the egg. The chasiu is not as good as the takumi’s one ( with a bit fat is better) , The fishcake is quite cold. The service and the atmosfeer was perfect!

I highly recommend Hinoki Ramen. A neighborhood restaurant, very close to the city center and in one of Rotterdam's busiest and busiest tourist areas. A traditional Asian restaurant, in my experience, with original flavors, excellent preparation techniques, and quality ingredients. The location is comfortable, clean, and pleasant, unpretentious, with an Asian-inspired decor that complements the dining experience well. The prices are very similar to those of nearby restaurants, the service is very attentive, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu and can offer recommendations. They accept all payment methods.

The best ramen place in Rotterdam

Food was very tasty. It just took a while before everyone in the group had their food.

This is easily the worst ramen I have tried so far. The broth has no flavour or depth. They do not use aroma oil, their tare is also weak. The toppings are poorly prepared. Noodles are good, but I doubt they make those in-house.

It is a cute small restaurant yet so much in demand, as you would probably stay in a queue for a few minutes to get a table to get lucky. The quality is good, the options are good. But it's a little packed and the tables are too close. It is great if you need to get a good quality Ramen in a short time and leave, especially if you are going alone. But in groups or going with friends feels alright. After all, great choice for authentic Ramen.

I've been consistently going here once a month for almost 2 years. Every single time I've left satisfied. I always order the same thing - the red special. It has consistently been excellent: great toppings, noodles cooked perfectly, pork is tender and flavorful, and the broth is perfectly spicy. This restaurant has the best service of any place I've ever been to. I was truly astounded by how good it truly was the first time I came here, and it has stayed the same over time, even with staff changes. One waitress stands out in particular as being particularly cheery and friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough. A must visit.

After trying most of them, all of them are worth trying. It all depends on your personal preference. Just take into consideration that is a very popular place so depending on the day / time can be a bit busy so you might wait 15 - 20 min outside. But believe me when I say every person from the stuff will kindly help and make it the best experience.

The queues can sometimes be quite long, especially at busy times. But honestly, that's just a sign that the food here is great. And if you go a bit outside rush hour, it's often not too bad.
