Delicious food, fast service, and super friendly staff. Definitely recommended! A bit crowded, though. I had the black garlic chashu tonkotsu ramen, highly recommended, and it was a full container, so you definitely won't leave hungry. And all this for a very reasonable price.

I stopped by because I wanted to eat Japanese food. It's a ramen restaurant, but I ordered the fried gyoza set. The fried chicken was juicy and delicious, and the gyoza were also satisfying in taste and volume. It was less than 20 euros, so I felt it was reasonable for the Netherlands.

The main courses were delicious. We ordered a side dish (4 squid balls), but they weren't cooked properly. After we pointed this out, we received two new ones. We were also charged for four balls, as we'd already taken a bite. A bit of a shame.

Really nice Japanese food restaurant in Rotterdam. The service was great except for the fact that they were coming constantly to clear the table. Otherwise I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the experience!

The broth is more clean and a lighter one, as you can see from they use lots of veggies to make it so it is less dense. They use crispy fried shallots in the broth also, which is also rare for me to add in ramen. However the noodle seems a bit vanilla for me, as I am not sure if they are custom-made as it lacks some speciality. Overall, it is quite an interesting feat, there are some fine innovations in the ramen. FYI, I ordered the buta-tama tonkotsu ramen. This is a ramen that won’t make you feel greasy after finish it.

Tan tan men was delicious as takumi's version. Ate it till last drop. My favorite tan tan is still not changed 😁.. I can see how they want people to eat fast and leave the building as they likely expecting many customers to come. Glad that I finally got to experience the ramen, especially my favorite ramen, Tan Tan. Good place for quick stop. Not for gezelligheid.

Our go to where we eat at least 2 times a month with our family of 4! Quality food and you never have to wait long for your food.

The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. The service was kind and fast and the atmosphere was crowded but it felt cozy and comfortable and I didn't at any moment feel over stimulated. The food of course was a bit expensive (to be expected). Overall, good restaurant though better to go there in a special event/ occasion.

Definitely not authentic ramen. Broth was thin and weak - which means it was watered down to stretch it, the bok choi was barely cooked, and there was salad in the ramen??!! This felt like an attempt to cash in on the ramen hype.

Great food, very fast, good service

We have been eating here regularly for about 6 years now (for lunch, afternoon and evening) and it is always delicious. The spicy soups are not spicy for our taste, but also simply tasty, but that will of course differ per person. The karaage is always well seasoned and the salt and mayonnaise that comes with it completes it. We also order the homemade ice tea that they serve as standard. Out of all the times, we have only experienced a few times where we had to wait for a table. That varied from 5 to 15 minutes. Reservations are therefore not possible, but in our case it has never been an issue. The staff is always friendly and always willing to implement any wishes for your dish. Highly recommended in Rotterdam!

Decent food but I was not impressed. Otherwise worth visiting

While traveling around Europe, I have never felt that Japanese food was so delicious, but I enjoyed it here. The feeling of eating delicious Japanese food that is faithful to the basics The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious!

Delicious soup with chicken—flavourful broth, tender meat, and a perfect comfort meal. The atmosphere was cozy, and service was quick and friendly. Great spot for a warm, satisfying lunch in Rotterdam. Definitely will come back. It's on a nice bustling street, West Kruiskade, also enjoyable to sit outside.

I’ve been to many other Takumi restaurants and the food at this one was definitely on par with what I’m used to (really yummy), but the vibe at this location is perhaps slightly less cozy. Still worth going of course, and I can recommend the teriyaki miso ramen which is my go-to order at any Takumi.

Good quick Raman nearby the train station. Service is very good and prompt. We had the chicken teriyaki and the black garlic pork and an appetizer of gyoza. All were really good.

The chicken starter was amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The ramen was decent, but I ordered the spicy kara ebi noodles, and unfortunately, the spicy component did not emulsify well with the broth, leading to a segregated mixture that affected the overall taste. The dessert was a bit disappointing; the brownie was very dry and lacked the rich, moist texture I was hoping for.

Great ramen! We were here on a sunday night and there was a small line outside but we actually waited for less then 10 minutes :) After that the service was very fast and friendly too! Would definitely recommend

Nice staff. The food really tastes great. Even though it was busy your food came quickly. You can order Japanese beers/drinks. And you can also save for points here. I will definitely come back here again. We ordered spicy kara-ebi miso ramen. Also gyoza and crispy chicken pieces.

We ate teriyaki chicken and curry with chicken bowls. The portions were big and fulfilling. Next to the main meal, there were miso soup and a salad with seaweed. We loved the miso soup and the seaweed salad has an interesting taste. After the food we had green tea and matcha tiramisu, which were nice as well. The service was very fast and they were so helpful with deciding the menu and the details with welcoming attitudes. The ambience of the restaurant is nice as well, it really feels like you are in Japan.

Terrible food. None of the curry, the ramen, and the karage was passable. Would never come back again. In fact, we regret even going in the first place.

Our favorite: consistently good ramen!!

This restaurant is located in a nice street full of Asian shops and restaurants. There is normally a parking garage within a 5-minute walk. This was under renovation when we were there so we could still park nearby. We were kindly helped. We had the okonomi karage (fried chicken) as a side dish, which was delicious. And in addition I had the karage curry. At a certain point it starts to get a bit boring in terms of taste, but it was otherwise good.

Anyone who knows the Takumi Düsseldorf in Germany is just as well served here. Prices in NL are a little higher, service good, quality good, atmosphere cozy, all around nice experience. We'd love to come back!

If you're looking for a ramen spot with a unique and vibrant atmosphere, Takumi Ramen Kitchen is it! The small space is packed with fun and interesting decorations, creating a really memorable experience. The staff are welcoming and the menu is easy to understand. Great value for the price.

This is the 5th time I go here, I don't often eat out but the prices are normal/cheap and other than that it is as tasty as if it were really a 5 star restaurant, so it deserves it.

This used to be an enjoyable place to visit, but I got food poisoning after eating here. I visited Takumi for lunch today (Sunday 16-2-25) and ordered the ebi furai spicy miso ramen with hot tea. The ramen and broth didn’t taste fresh, and I immediately noticed something was off. When I went to pour my tea, I realized the cup was still wet and smelled eggy. I ended up drinking straight from the teapot, but it seems the damage was already done. I suspect the bowl used for my ramen was also improperly cleaned, possibly with a dirty or eggy-fishy-smelling rag. I got sick when I came home. Please improve your dishwashing and hygiene standards—clean kitchen rags and properly wash and dry dishes. Additionally, the restaurant had a sewage smell when I walked in. The toilet was unclean, no paper towels, and the women’s toilet door couldn’t be locked from the inside. Hygiene is crucial in a restaurant. I hope the management takes this seriously.

Food was okay but small portions. If ask for extra noodles it doesn’t amplify the meal by much. Better to ask for extra noodles while eating the ramen soup as maybe will be better off. The cold sake comes in a single serve, tastes weird. Better off with beer and getting the gyoza as the starter as that is much better.

Good place for a quick meal, very much functional restaurant.

The food is really good. What bothered me are the squeaky hinges. You can say about ALL doors in the restaurant: have them lubricated and repeat this regularly.

I don't give 5 points for just anything, but I certainly do for this restaurant! So far they have the best ramen here in the Netherlands so I hope they don't change the recipe. Been coming here for a few years and also at other locations. They are always friendly, fast, clean and you really get a good portion for the money. The staff indicated several times that we do not live nearby but would do it for Takumi!

The best ramen restaurant for years! The food has remained just as tasty over the years, large portions and plenty of choice between chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian. Service is also really great! The employees ensure that you are not short of anything. The only disadvantage is that it can get very busy, especially on weekends, and space is tight.

Nice staff and quick service, and the ramen was okay. I appreciated the multiple vegan options on the menu. Spicy dishes could have definitely been more spicy.

A pack of yumyum contains even more noodles. Previously (2 years ago) you still got food for the money you paid. I also think the price has gone up and quality has gone down. The staff also does not ask if it tastes good or if it is to your liking. Shame. Could of course just be a bad day.

This place is amazing! But don't take my word for it. The restaurant is always buzzing, you may need to wait 5 mins for a table, that's due to the restaurant often being at full capacity. The service is quick, prompt and attentive. The food, oh where do I begin! Takumi makes delicious Ramen (I personally recommend the black garlic pork ramen), as well as karage chicken and sides of gyoza dumplings. We love eating here and will do so any chance we can when we visit Rotterdam.

Best Ramen we ever had and it was to go. When we served it in the hotel everything was super fresh and tasty!

Ordered takeaway. Food was great in terms of flavor, but neither of our ramen dishes included an egg, and they gave an absurdly small amount of soy sauce for the 12-piece gyoza. Loved the takeaway packaging, everything got home safely with no spills!

Delicious ramen. Excellent broth with tasty fresh vegetables and tender meat. Also tasty dishes for vegetarians. It is served quickly and the service is top notch. We had to wait outside for a while upon arrival, but the staff was very nice and informed us and told us the waiting time. Thoughtful!

Normally a super fan of this restaurant. This time they forgot my extra egg and my soup wasn't really hot. I got the egg later, but it just came out of the refrigerator and it was a cold bite in the warm soup
