Amazing ramen, and incredible Japanese curry. The menu is diverse and this ramen restaurant offers a variety of ramen options in addition to rice dishes such as the curry or the Karaage and Teriyaki dons. The place itself is vibrant, and has a really enjoyable setting with a strong Japanese ambiance. The staff is kind and attentive to our needs. Would recommend 100% and would definitely go again!

Came at 12:10pm to be told that they open at 1. Then tried our luck again at 20:45 only to be told that they are already closed. Correct your opening hours or work accordingly.

I had dinner before yesterday in this restaurant and it was really good. I had tested the other address 2 years ago and it's as good as I remembered. À very good place to eat Ramen or traditional Japanese dishes but not sushi. I recommend it strongly. Warning about the closing time which can be a little early for non local and people who like to eat a little late.

Nice place, with a little bit of Japanese atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. The Sapporo buta miso ramen was fine. The broth was a bit too buttery for me and the number of noodles was disappointing. I think they specialize in chicken broth, which I will have next time 🫡

Em um dia chuvoso e super frio, resolvi parar no restaurante pois ficava de frente ao The James (hotel em que estou hospedada). Que comida maravilhosa. O local é pequeno e estava bem cheio, o que sugeria que era bastante disputado. Pedi o ramen de chicken teriaky (eles oferecem a versão spicy e não spicy de todos os ramens), o frango estava super crocante e o caldo do prato era simplesmente delicioso. Pretendo voltar antes do fim da minha estadia.

We’ve tried a lot of ramen spots and if you want a rich and creamy broth, there is really no comparison. The food came very quickly and the staff were really nice.

Black garlic noukou buta ramen is the best ramen so far I can find in the Netherlands. Curry rice is, however, quite average. Still, the ramen is so good that I rate 5 star for the restaurant.

Had a good experience here. I was recommended the R02 Mala Chicken Noukou ramen, which was very tasty and flavourful. The service was a bit slow when I went but the staff were very helpful and friendly. I recommend this ramen place ☺️.

I've walked past it a few times when I was in the area, but I stopped in today. Wasn't busy for lunch (or I was late). Ordered spicy ramen and it was a nice spicy bowl of ramen. Gyozas were also delicious. Definitely worth repeating. Atmosphere now rated 3 stars, but that's just because it was quiet. Decoration is neat and clean.

It was an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly, there are not many seats in the restaurant, so it is worth coming a little early. The food is very tasty, the portions of ramen are large, the average person can eat his fill just from it! Very pleasant emotions after visiting.

I had the Butatama miso ramen. The broth is quite good, and the ramen has a nice texture. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, but the soft-boiled egg is a bit overcooked. Additionally, the pork is prepared similarly to the way beef is cooked for Japanese gyudon. When you add pork that is already quite flavourful to the ramen, it can overpower the original taste of the broth. I suggest using a milder cooking method for the meat; this way, the ingredients can absorb the flavour of the broth rather than change it. Overall that’s a very good ramen, worth a try.

The group I was with found this restaurant on an evening when we were desperate for a bite after a long day, and we were so satisfied if the food, service, and atmosphere that we came back for lunch the next day. We all tried different dishes both times and even brought along an even bigger group of people the second time. Everyone enjoyed the food and we were full afterwards. The service is great, the staff is incredibly kind and the place looks very tidy. Definitely one of the most memorable restaurants on my entire trip to Rotterdam! Would love to come here again.

Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Lokal sauber. Wir sind durch Zufall im Restaurant gewesen und kommen gerne wieder.

Primero las buenas noticias. El pollo teriyaki en el ramen era muy sabroso. De alguna manera engañaron a la piel del pollo para que estuviera crujiente mientras el pollo estaba húmedo y tierno. . . ¡Estoy seguro de que es difícil! Los fideos en el ramen estaban pegados, lo que nunca debería suceder. La gyoza sabía un poco gracioso, de alguna manera. ¿Tal vez estaba congelado? -No lo sé. En general comida mediocre que era demasiado caro (más de 40 euros para dos personas para comer ramen para el almuerzo es excesivo) . La mala noticia es que el gerente fue bastante grosero, incluso hostil. Finalmente me di cuenta de que era abadía trajimos una botella de agua. Cuando pedimos (y tuvimos que pagar) agua se volvió amable. Pero era demasiado tarde. No actúes como un idiota cuando entro en un restaurante solo porque estoy caminando por la ciudad con una botella de agua. Si no fuera por ese pollo crujiente, este restaurante tendría una estrella. Así las cosas, nunca volveré allí.

I visited this ramen shop recently, and while the food was delicious, the service left much to be desired. After all my dishes were served, I realized I hadn't been given any water. When I pointed this out to the staff, the response was shockingly rude—my water cup was practically thrown at me. As an Asian customer, it was really disappointing to experience such poor treatment from the Asian staff. I expected much better hospitality, but the unkind attitude really spoiled the experience for me. Unfortunately, the service brings down the overall experience, and I can't recommend this place

Cute little place. I had the tofu shoyu ramen. It tasted all right. I had to ask for some hot water because the broth was a little too salty for me. The noodles were short as if they had been broken pieces. In a pinch for some comfort food across the hotel, it worked. The Indonesian staff were friendly and efficient. 20 Euros plus tip.

We wilden graag samen met onze puberzoon ramen eten en hadden op internet gezien dat dit één van de beste ramen restaurants van Rotterdam was. We konden het restaurant goed vinden en werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een serveerster. We hadden niet gereserveerd, maar er was nog een tafeltje aan het raam vrij. Er is heel veel keuze in losse gerechten, maar ook combinatiegerechten. We kozen allemaal verschillend en het was voor iedereen erg lekker. Goede kwaliteit producten, goede smaak en grote porties. Alle bediening is vriendelijk. Het enige minpunt en dat is toch wel kwalijk voor een eetgelegenheid; de toiletten waren echt smerig. De vloer op zowel dames- als herentoilet plakte en het zag er verder niet echt hygiënisch uit. Dat is jammer. Gelukkig gingen we pas na het eten naar het toilet... Een volgend keer slaan we het toiletbezoek hier beter over.

Normally, the food, service and ambiance at Takumi is great. Unfortunately, yesterday was my first bad experience. A couple of hours after consuming my ramen I became really unwell resulting in a food poisoning.

We miss authentic Japanese ramen and we really enjoyed the food here. After living in Japan for 4 years, you search high and low for great ramen— and this restaurant did not disappoint!! They were very busy on a Saturday night, so be sure to make a reservation or be prepared for a wait. Great food and worth the wait!!!

Usually we eat in, but today we took a take away from Sapporo Ramen. The chicken was crispy and tastes delicious. Also the eggs and veggies and bamboos were tasty. Only the ramen tasted a bit different than before. It is like they changed the structure and taste of the ramen. It is less bouncy and savoury like before. Now it tasted a bit more like Chinese Yellow noodles, still tasty, but more Chinese noodles then Japanese ramen, strange.

Canceled an order placed an hour ago at 10:00 PM without notice. Dramatic service.

Fried chicken curry rice and fried chicken miso ramen are both 16 euros, about NT$560. The fried chicken is fragrant, and the rice and noodles all taste reasonable. However, the portion of ramen is not very large. A small portion of 6 pancakes costs 6.50 euros, which is about NT$227. It’s decent. Tofu and avocado salad, 8.5 euros, about NT$300. A very special combination, but the tofu is slightly fried. But it's not big, and it still has an atmospheric Japanese feel.

I arrived around 6:30pm on a Tuesday and there was no one in line, but the place was full and I had to wait about 2-3 minutes to get in. When I was seated at a small two-seater table right next to the door, it was cold because the door didn't open and close, and the airtightness was poor, so there was always a cold draft coming in. Furthermore, if you don't sit on a metal chair with a coat spread out, your butt will get sore. The store clerk is Asian, but I wonder if anyone can speak Japanese? This is a store for Europeans that has tons of toppings. The main meal is from the Takumi Group, so the noodles and soup are probably the same, so I thought there would be no difference in quality...but there's something different between the Düssel store, which I've been to many times, and the Essen store I ate at last week! First of all, the soup wasn't hot, and even though we were seated in a cold place, there was no steam rising from the bowl, and I was able to eat it without fussing at all... The miso-based fried shrimp ramen was so thin that you couldn't tell without thinking about what flavor of soup it was, and the amount of noodles seemed to be smaller than at other stores...At the Essen store I went to last week, I only had ramen. Even though I was super full, I should have ordered a side. There are menu items that aren't available at German stores, so it's fun to choose, but unfortunately the quality wasn't what I expected.

Came in here with no expectations but it was a nice and comforting bowl of Ramen, i took the spiciest one on the menu but it wasn’t very spicy. The taste is good, taste very homey and comforting. The chicken has a nice crispy outside, i think its slightly fried. Very tasty!

Today, my wife and I visited Takumig and encountered a disappointing incident. Upon requesting a table for two, the Garson initially directed us to one, but when we opted for a slightly more spacious table nearby, he became visibly angered. Despite our attempt to accommodate his request by moving a chair, the Garson scolded us loudly, insisting that it was unacceptable and not to do it next time. With his aggressive behavior, we were shocked, and our christmasi mood was ruined, coupled with an angry demeanor, created an uncomfortable atmosphere, pointing us to his colleagues working in the kitchen, we knew we should not eat there anymore! decided to leave without even placing an order. We regret to say that based on our experience, we don't recommend this branch to others.

Really bad service from some employees, downright arrogant. Too bad we liked the food. Been several times, but this is not a nice or pleasant way to eat... too bad. But we won't be back.

Het eten was lekker, daar is geen twijfel over mogelijk. Helaas kan ik niet hetzelfde zeggen over de service die we hebben ontvangen, wat ons dwingt om deze review met slechts 2 sterren te beoordelen. Het grootste struikelblok was de lange wachttijd die we hebben moeten doorstaan. We hebben meer dan een uur gewacht op ons eten, terwijl we zagen dat vier andere tafels die later binnenkwamen en later bestelden dan wij, eerder werden bediend. Dit was onverklaarbaar en teleurstellend.

Drukke zaterdag, weinig chefs in keuken waardoor bestelling nogal lang duurde. Ramen soort was goed maar buillon mocht was meer smaak hebben. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Klein restaurantje veel keuzes op menu zowel ramen als rijstgerechten en bijgerechten. Takoyaki was lekker als side dish.

We wanted to surprise a friend of mine since she never had aten ramen before, my friend suggested to eat here. We had the possibility to pick a table outside which we did. We started off by ordering a drink, I chose the homemade ice tea. I always prefer to eat something spicy so I went for the Spicy Teriyaki Miso Ramen (as shown on the picture). The service was pretty fast and we got our drinks quickly. The ramen tasted really good but it wasn’t that spicy in my opinion. Nevertheless it really filled my stomach. My friends really loved the food as well. So if you want to have a nice place to sit with your friends this would be a great place to do so.
