What would a visit to the Netherlands be without kibbeling? Right next to the free parking lot and not far from the beach. Great place! 👍🏼

The atmosphere and friendliness are fine. The food there is so disgusting. Very greasy batter, the fish is really gross, and it stinks terribly.

No, sorry, chaotic help behind the counter and the kibbeling was more like one big lump than tasty little bites of fish with some breadcrumbs. Too bad, but not for me. No experience with the rest of the menu.

Nice Lent spot next to the center. We got our kibbeling and shrimp quickly. It tasted good.

Go to this fish stand and skip the ones at the station, trust me. It's a nice calm place with really good products. My usual pick is the Kibbeling and it was really tasty. Find yourself a nice spot on the beach, go and have a quick walk and pickup some nice snacks to eat at the beach.

What garbage, 2 portions of kibbeling and 1 portion of fries. 17 euros. Fries: small portions but still reasonably edible. Kibbeling: overcooked batter, small portions, inedible. Hygiene: poor. Just don't go there, it's a waste of your stomach.

The kibbeling was, to my taste, really much too crispy, overcooked, and salty. It was very dry and there was more batter than fish on it. The staff is friendly.

Unfortunately, I didn't eat the tastiest fries and kibbeling. They really need to cook the fries through; they were almost inedible, and the kibbeling was just okay. In any case, NOT worth repeating!

Super hospitable, I’ve been visiting owner “cousin” Kees for about 25 years. Very good food and very professional staff. Keep it up. And don’t immediately give a negative response if something doesn’t go the way you’d like. I experience that too; it’s about the overall picture, not the one-time customer who just doesn’t get the experience they want. Come by more often and you will see for yourself.

The food is very tasty and the kibbeling is nice and crispy. It did take a bit long to be ready, but otherwise everything is great!

Unfortunately, the service was a major disappointment. The older lady behind the counter was anything but customer-friendly. She snapped at several customers and seemed to have absolutely no patience or interest in helping people properly. As a customer, you expect at least a friendly greeting and normal manners, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. A customer service course would certainly not be a luxury. Due to the staff's attitude, I will not be returning here anytime soon, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

I thought: after a walk, I'll grab a nice portion of kibbeling. Unfortunately, it was anything but fresh. Additionally, the older lady who served us was extremely unfriendly and rude. If you don't enjoy working in the hospitality industry, you'd better look for another job.;)

I don't think I've ever eaten such disgusting kibbeling. Not warm, not crispy, and it was soggy. The place didn't look clean either. Not worth a repeat visit, what a shame!

The kibbeling was not fresh. When we pointed this out, the staff reacted very unfriendly and became aggressive.

Delicious fish and chips. Very friendly lady even gave me a piece of of fish to try before I ordered! Pay after you eat too. Definitely worth stopping for if your catching or departing the ferry to UK.

A favourite traditional fish stall of ours for breakfast as we get off the morning ferry or lunch/supper dependinding which ferryvwe are taking back.

It's important that the fish is fresh, tasty, and affordable.

Truly the freshest, tastiest battered fish I've ever eaten if you're in the area, it's worth the visit. What a shame that your business was so damaged. I hope you can get back up and running as soon as possible.

The kibbeling was tasty, but the portion wasn't freshly made, so there was some cold kibbeling in it. When I gave feedback about that, the response was "yes, that can happen". So is that normal here? Very disappointing.

Whenever we're at the beach, we go there to eat fish. Everything is top-notch, delicious, prices are normal, the fries are very crispy – we haven't had such delicious fish in a long time.

It was delicious. It was recommended to us as a hidden gem, and I can only pass that on. Definitely worth it!!!

Lots of batter, little fish. A bit of a shame if you're looking forward to a tasty fish. Not a clean place. Service was fine though; they brought the food to you. And the atmosphere is good in the sunshine too.

Good food, very friendly, open staff!, close to the beach

A sunny day at 7:15 PM, ordered four portions of kibbeling. There was only whisky sauce left. The people behind the counter said to each other: "Close at 8:00 PM, or we'll be at it forever!" From a distance, the fish was thrown into the oil with way too much batter and fried until almost black. A large lump of dried-out batter clung to every piece of fish. Inedible! It went straight into the trash. €36 wasted, yuck!

We got kibbeling here yesterday. We were looking forward to it so much, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Way too salty and overcooked. We also found shrimp in a piece of kibbeling. Very sloppy! Imagine being allergic to shellfish or not liking them. The people behind the counter clearly didn't feel like doing it anymore. They said they were just closing because people kept coming. But if you're open until 8:00 PM, you should simply deliver quality and customer friendliness at 7:15 PM! Once is enough, never again!

Delicious fish and a great spot to stand. It is a bit of a wind catcher though, and unfortunately there is nowhere out of the wind to eat your fish. Free parking is highly recommended, as you can walk straight onto the beach.

I don't even know how to start, sorry for my language, but awful kibbeling, really not recommended. It felt like I was chewing on sand, extremely greasy, tasteless, cold food. It was already done within 3 minutes. You really should make the food with love; it is not a crime to do your food well.

We were here at the beach years ago. Everything has changed. At the fish stall, we bought herring and kibbelinge. Both were delicious. The stall was busy. The tables and chairs around it were dirty, wobbly, and broken. They could use some investment.

Drama, after a previous disappointment, I tried again. Never again. The kibbeling had more crust than fish, yuck. A portion probably didn't even reach 100 grams of fish. €6 for a container. No, then Roeleveld in Scheveningen 👍

The snack I ate here was inedible. Extremely greasy, with an ammonia taste. Old grease? Ugh... I regret eating it out of decency. Still feeling nauseous after eating it for five hours.

I don't know what's going on here, but the quality is deteriorating rapidly, and the staff is extremely incompetent and unfriendly. The kibbeling was put in the ravigotte sauce without asking. After complaining about it, we received the kibbeling with a small cup of whiskey sauce, so we had to throw half a portion away. Prices aren't listed anywhere. I ordered one small portion of kibbeling, two herrings, and one mackerel, and paid €22.75. Kees, take note, this is really deteriorating rapidly.

Unfriendly staff; we weren't asked if we wanted a sauce or which one. The fish was in a sauce. When I requested a different sauce, I was simply given a separate container with the correct one. However, half of my kibbeling was in a sauce I couldn't eat. Because of this, I had to throw half of it away.

It's always busy there, from early morning until late at night. The food is delicious.

Food is always good here. Service is something that could be worked on. Ordered 4 'lekkerbekjes' but when he only put 2 in he insisted i only said 2 which is ridiculous as I was ordering for 4. Could have smiled and said aplogised! But again, shout out for the food, its always fresh.

We had lunch here while visiting friends. Very nice, friendly staff, the kibbelinge were specially marinated (thrown into a bucket), and the herring was amazing. Bottom line: super delicious, and we'd love to come back.
