Very tasty, eating with gloves, tasty cocktails.

The food all tastes the same and the staff looks at you all the time, very unpleasant, it is too expensive for the taste you get and I felt very uncomfortable, I was glad I left and will never come back!!!!!!

Food was nothing special, people stared at you all the time, certainly not nice for the price, definitely not recommended!

Just like in Amsterdam, this place is great to try once. You must really like fish and enjoy eating with your hands. It is also important that you can tolerate spicy food.

Delicious food! The food had a lot of flavor, was hot and fresh! We were a bit early, but we were able to order some drinks and sit outside in the sun on the terrace (we were there in September). A very nice experience that everyone should experience at least once!

A bit overpriced for what you get, the crab and oysters were okay.

We were tempted to visit this restaurant via social media. The food can only be rated with 3 stars because the quality of the seafood is rather poor to mediocre. The broth was as ordered and I thought it was great. We had a bowl with crawfish, squid and a lobster, corn and potatoes. The seafood we had in the bowl was all frozen. With a price of 90€ for the bowl and 14-15€ for a cocktail, you can quickly reach 120-150€. For this price there are fish restaurants that offer everything cheaper and a lot of fresher fish. It's better to go to a good fish restaurant, it's more worth it.

Not much special but very expensive. Impersonal because you have to order via a QR code. Everything tastes the same and the quality is mediocre. Lots of empty mussels, crayfish that can hardly be peeled and minimal amount you take off them, including the crab. Unsociable environment. We were outside again after exactly an hour. Never again.

What a disappointment. The price does not reflect the quality. There is zero service.

We were looking forward there and the one in Amsterdam with bbq was good but this one, we are a bit disappointed that the seafood isn't too fresh and we felt unwell after dinning there.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is interesting. We ordered a meal for two with a non-spicy sauce, unfortunately the sauce was very very spicy, the cocktails were delicious and only they saved from the sharpness of the food, but honestly delicious. I also left a note that it was my friend's birthday, but it was completely ignored (it was not pleasant).

If you love seafood, then this is the place for you. There is sushi and chicken in batter and a lot of seafood in sauce that you will eat from the table with your hands. On the table you will find an apron with gloves and napkins. You place your order via phone. Scan the code on the table. The service is excellent.

The ladies who work there are super sweet. The food was delicious but a lot for 1 person and a toddler. Luckily I was allowed to take it with me. You'll see me next time to try another combo 😍

The food was delicious, but you don't really care about the restaurant people who work there, they don't ask you if you know how to order food and how it works. I think that could be worked on, and they don't look around, you just have to walk up to them and ask something

While the atmosphere and service at this restaurant were pleasant, the food quality left much to be desired. Despite the charming decor and comfortable ambiance, the meal itself was underwhelming. It was quite evident that the dishes were not made with fresh ingredients but instead relied heavily on frozen, pre-prepared food. This significantly impacted the flavor and overall experience of the meal, especially given the high prices, which did not reflect the quality of the food.

The food is very good, but personally I'm not really a fan of the "order with your phone and someone will drop something on your table" concept. It doesn't change the way they came to throw the old table. That was with a friendly smile. All this was made up for by the food. TASTY!

All 3 sauces are the same, other than that it is delicious, but there is very little meat coming out of the crayfish, so it would make more sense to order shrimp instead. The crayfish is softer than the shrimp, it was a good experience, but next time I come, I will only order lobster, it's good to try the bucket.

The food was really delicious and it was fun. Then the misery only started. My friend who ordered lobster just threw up in the street. I had some stomach ache but otherwise not sick. But you are a seafood restaurant, so you have to handle food very carefully. This is simply not possible. This is playing with people's health!! Shame!! It's not all cheap with you.

I ordered the oysters and arctic shrimp platter and the seafood platter for 62 euros. The oysters are very delicious, with the sweet taste of seaweed, and the Arctic shrimp and mayonnaise are also very fragrant. This is one of those must try experiences. We managed to get a table without a booking. We ordered the seafood boil combo. Food arrived quite quick and I must say for Dutch standards it was quite flavorful. Picking apart the seafood is quite a bit of work and also the food does get a bit cold as the meal goes on. Yes it is quite expensive but all in all worth the experience. The sangria was really delicious and wel priced.

The food was quite tasty and substantial. The only thing I would say is the lemon sauce is quite intense so it can be a little overpowering and there was quite a lot of small crayfish which was a little empty. Otherwise, a really fun, delicious experience and the staff are quite friendly and helpful.

The seafood was not very fresh, and the shrimps were very chewy. We ordered a portion for three people, but it was given to two people. We also ordered a seafood noodle, but it had no flavor. I wonder if the chef forgot to add flavor, and the price is not cheap. I’m not full yet, and I still have to eat instant noodles when I get home. If I had to choose, I wouldn’t have another chance.

The point is that it's Messy, but it adds to the vibe. The seafood is a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected. Digital menus make sense for cleanliness, but I personally prefer physical ones. Overall, good food and a good experience.

Had a nice meal at Wowcrab in Rotterdam. The disadvantages are: You sit close together and you can't choose where you want to sit. I wanted to sit by the window and that was only possible if you came with 4+ people. The music is a South American club remix, it did NOT bother me personally, but it could be for someone else. Nice remix ❤️ No explanation was given as to how it worked. E.g. What the large container was for and what the fish came on (on a plate or on the table) Toilet was not cleaned up. It is also true that when you get your food you throw away a large part because it is inedible (fish heads, etc.) so you end up with less to eat than you see. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at wow crab... which was a shame because my girlfriend was looking forward to eating here. We arrive and are not greeted by the lady who is supposed to welcome us. She looks at us strangely, then we walk to the screen where the names of the reservations are shown, where she then points to a name and says bluntly: this one? My girlfriend and I look at each other for a moment and just say yes. The rest of the service (bringing us to a table, explaining how it works, etc.) also seems to be done with great reluctance, but as soon as a Dutch couple walks in and they receive them, it is a completely different story. Her character changes and she is enthusiastic and friendly. She even politely asks what name their reservation is under and was super friendly with these customers. At that point I decided we better not eat here and better leave our money somewhere else. It's a shame that skin color turned out to be a factor for this waitress and that we as customers were not taken seriously by the manager when we made this report. If possible 0 stars.

Kind of expensive and a bit too spicy for my taste even if I requested no spicy, however, it's an experience! I don't mind the price if the experience is great, but each time I go there, the restaurant is empty, so maybe working on those prices can get you in a sweet spot.

This type of meal must be suitable for some people to read the comments, however it is said to be void because the dish is dumped on the table without cover and filled with sauces... eating with gloves is not my thing.

Nice experience to try. We ordered the wow platter for 4 people. It certainly has the 'Wow' factor when it comes out. Food was tasty, however the sauce overpowers everything and there are too many empty muscles & clams. If we ever go again we would order a few different smaller dishes for variety. All in all a good meal.

The food was not very special. We took the Combo 4 and noticed that the lobster was missing. After we indicated this to the waiter, he still 'searched' among the seafood to see if it really wasn't there. He went to the kitchen to inquire. When he came back with the lobster, we saw how big it was and that it was immediately clear that the lobster was not among us. It seemed like this was a conscious action

this by far the best crab and lobster fast food type of restaurant in the Netherlands.... try the big ones like lobsters and crabs because the small ones on the menu are not easy to eat and not a very good value for money proposal

Been here for the third time, and want to come many more times! Delicious seafood, the wow sauce (all flavors mixed together) is so tasty and eating with your fingers (there are also gloves) is absolutely delicious and that means no one is on their phone! There is now a tap and soap in the shop, so no more cleaning with wipes. If you indicate that you want to take the shells with you (for bisque), you will receive them neatly in a bag.

if you like seafood you've come to the right place. You can choose for how many people, what type of Seafood. Eating shrimp, crab, langoustines, corn, rice, etc. with your hands in gloves, everything is delivered before you start eating. The choice of spiciness is really tasty too.

Concept is quite OK, but execution of the food is not great. What could meat sausages do with seafood? Its extremely strange. Plus, they deliver the cooked food in the plastic bag, which is not sexy or tasty or arousing. Sauce is also not fantastic, and thats the key to success. I have dined inn similar restaurants and they were MUCH better with same idea.

Had a delicious meal at Wow-Crab in the old port of Rotterdam. You can choose four things from the menu. This is served on the table, no plates or cutlery if you do not wish. We simply ate like a Burgundian with the supplied gloves.

Beautiful place at the Oude Haven in Rotterdam. It was relatively quiet on Monday evening. The service was very friendly and the food very tasty.

I tried with my friend the 1-2 person combo no 2 which came with a special seafood (lobster or crab). Even the portion is sufficient for two people i have some suggestions. The sauce is so limited that it never flavors the seafood itself. There is not enough sauce outside as well to dip the seafood into. Yes i could have ordered extra sauce but I think given the price of the combo (101 euro for two people) I shouldnt really need to buy extra. Coming to the lobster bisque, the taste was average for the price that it was. The mocktail was amazing. The service and the atmosphere was great.

Been to the wow crab in Amsterdam and visited this one now. The food is nice and consistent between the chains. The service in this wowcrab was very nice and polite and made sure we were happy with the orders.

Ordered 180 euros worth of seafood boil and then had to wait 1.5 hours for the food, other tables that arrived later received their food. After asking twice where it was, I received the answer "yes, it is being made now, it will be ready in 10 minutes." The same answer twice, I finally got up and left without eating.

You pay 120 euros to get a fully cooked lobster, or some other product where the edible part is 1/3 of the dish, and you pay for the whole dish, it was terrible, you pay for 90% of what you throw away and 10% of what you'll probably eat, it's too expensive and I know why, this restaurant is designed for one trip, Because you'll never go back there! It was tasteless and for half a kilo of useless food you pay 120 euros, of which 500 grams are edible!

We had dinner there again on March 8, there were far too few staff on the floor, they were really working their butts off, but we had to wait 1.45 hours for our food. Some items we never received. Cajun cuisine originated from the French, where settlers have brought and developed this unique cuisine to North America during the 18th century. Here in Canada and the US, cajun boils were eaten Western style: with seafood alongside sausages, potato and corn. During the French colonisation in Asia, a new French-Asian style was developed. This type of seafood boil was made with fish sauce, lemon grass, ginger together with the traditional Cajun ingredients: old bay, garlic butter and Creole seasoning. Typically this dsh was eaten on top of a bowl of white rice in Asia. When a stream of Asian migrants came to the US in the seventies, they also brought the new French-Asian fusion back to North America. Both types of Western and Eastern cajun styles fused again into the version as we know today: the French cajun with an Asian twist, consumed alongside corn, sausage and potatoes. To date, Americans have been eating these popular cajun seafood boils across the country, typically along the coast of California with a view of the beach and sunset.

Ordinary food shed, impersonal and rude service, horrible decor. Neon light letters with swear words, no menu, no explanation. Just eat dirty with your hands and shove everything from the sea into your mouth. Afterwards you smell like a fish market stall that has been covered in garlic oil.

The name says it all! Wow!!! For Wow Crab Rotterdam. The big seafood platter is such a generous serving! A must-try! We also enjoyed all their starters, fried squid, chicken poppers, and fries. Make sure you order rice as everything is so tasty. Staff are attentive, very friendly, and respectful. 💯% recommended for the whole family.

The food was mostly delicious, although there were a few challenges when eating as some of the meat was still firmly attached to the shells. Luckily, appropriate utensils were provided which were helpful. However, I am of two minds when it comes to the price-performance ratio - it seems a bit high for what is on offer. It seems like the prices are a bit high due to the current hype. Nevertheless, the atmosphere in the restaurant with its own DJ was really excellent and contributed to a pleasant ambience.

It turned out that we had done something wrong when ordering via a QR/telephone. But no one came to inform or help, just let us wait. Cocktails were also substandard. I ALWAYS give a good tip, but this time 0.0. Must be their flagship location, but the staff didn't notice much of that. Not to be repeated!

Terrible! Everything tastes very plain. Hugely overrated restaurant. Tables that are close together and service that even finds it too difficult to communicate with you in a friendly manner. You spend so much money and you can't even get a smile/greeting from the wait staff. Don't run a restaurant if you can't even communicate like a normal person. We decided to celebrate our 13th anniversary at this restaurant. We had very high expectations of WowCrab because of Instagram, but we are quite disappointed. First and foremost, we were not received hospitably. It was our first experience with WowCrab and there was no explanation of how the concept worked. After about 15 minutes we discovered that we had to scan a QR to order something. During the reservation we had explicitly indicated that it was a special celebration for us: our 13th anniversary. Nothing has been done about this at all. While ordering, we noticed that the larger seafood can be ordered once from a menu. Instagram really created a completely different expectation. If you go for the most expensive option, the one for €285, you will have Instagram on your plate. We chose to expand our supplement by €30 so that we could order an extra larger species of fish. Once served, we hadn't even eaten three things when we discovered that there was a very big, fat fly in the mountain of seafood. Terribly dirty. After our complaint, the fly was removed from the mountain of seafood at the table and the rest of the food was taken back to the kitchen. We were going to receive a completely new order, but we had our doubts about the new bucket. The seafood was no longer as hot as previously served (previously the steam was coming off) and almost all the shells were empty (fruits had fallen out). We received no further apologies or any other type of compensation. We did get a glass of tap water to rinse our mouths. A shame because we were really looking forward to this special evening. Unfortunately not a second time for us.

Shrimp were really delicious! You can adjust the spiciness, which I really liked. Unfortunately, lobster tasted like rubber, a shame. The langoustines also did not have much meat and were difficult to open. The chicken sausage and corn could use a little more. We paid 130 euros for 2 people, without a starter or dessert. Quite on the pricey side for what you get in return. Ordering sauce costs 6.50 euros per bowl. My mocktail glass was not filled properly and that was 10 euros. I thought the staff was friendly and the service was good, everything was clearly explained. Ordering is done via a QR code and the lady stood there to log in completely. If you have a question you really have to do your best to stop a waiter, it had become so busy.
