Bad experience, it was inedible.

I order here quite often; it's always delicious and I never have any complaints. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but that's the case everywhere. The cream sauce dish is my favorite! Today I opted for takeout, and there were only 20 minutes between ordering and picking up! I even got a quick call to ask if I was on my way yet, so the cook could pack the potatoes just in time to prevent them from getting soggy! After a 10-minute walk, the meal was still piping hot! Delicious.

What a terrible place this is; the pizzas were soggy and no longer warm. I called about this and just got yelled at. Never again.

We had ordered a chicken burger, loaded fries, and a large shawarma platter. We received a limp piece of chicken on a bun three times the size, almost raw potatoes with a little cheese, and a container of shawarma that was less than 200g. When I called the number on the receipt, I got King Spareribs on the line, not Hollywood, where we had ordered. When I asked if the size of the shawarma was correct, the employee started being difficult, asking if I didn't just want a discount or a free container next time I ordered. When I said that I wouldn't be ordering again—meaning I wanted either my money back or an extra container—the man just hung up. Furthermore, the man was almost impossible to understand and spoke really poor Dutch.

Waited over 2 hours for food. When you call, they just left, and then you have to wait another 45 minutes.

What a surprising experience it was here. The pizza was simply black on the bottom, sparsely topped, and we had to wait more than an hour and a half for it as well. Not recommended.

The service is unprofessional; they also didn't provide the right item.

Ordered food via their own website on January 1, 2026. Several items were missing from the order. We tried to call immediately at 7:45 PM, but no one answered or the line was busy. €20 worth of ordered dishes gone. We were with several people who were now unable to eat. Update July 25, 2026: Following the owner's response below: I visited your establishment on January 2nd after having tried to call multiple times (you were unreachable). I spoke with the owner there using the chef's phone. I left my number and it was supposed to be resolved. To date, this has not happened. Hence, this review is still here. And now, half a year later, responding to the review again. You're the best!!

The whole neighborhood can enjoy rotting spareribs, 3 crates full.

I am normally not someone who is quick to write a bad review, but this was truly the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery restaurant. After waiting for over two hours, my order still hadn't been delivered. In the meantime, I tried calling multiple times. The first few times, they just answered and hung up immediately. That is already incredibly unprofessional. Eventually, I got someone on the line who told me that the order was “arriving soon.” By now, another two hours have passed, and nothing has been delivered yet. It’s not even just about the long wait for me, but mainly about the way customers are treated. If it is busy or there is a problem, just be honest about it. Making customers wait for hours, cutting off phone calls, and then promising that the order is “arriving soon” while nothing happens is totally unacceptable. This was absolutely my last order here. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Poor communication, no service whatsoever, and a waiting time that makes no sense at all. Very disappointing.

Shitty place, ordered 3 hours ago, haven't heard anything since.

I placed an order and upon receipt it was cold. I ordered a large platter and what do you get? A crappy little container with a thin layer of meat that makes you wonder if I'm supposed to get full from this. I called but wasn't taken seriously. It's not worth the money and the staff could be a bit friendlier when you call. I just threw the food away.

I wonder where these reviews come from; I ordered a pizza today and it was there within 30 minutes. The company has definitely improved!

I really regret ordering from here. I should have read the reviews first. It really is as bad as the substantiated reviews say. A dirty, wet, cold, and soggy pizza with very little topping. And if you complain by phone, you get a lot of abuse and are simply threatened. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. They are big scammers. And I am definitely a real person who ordered from you.

Ordered from this place. Ordered 20 chicken wings and only received 15. When we called, they assured us they were certain there were 20 inside. A very cheeky response, and it's a shame zero empathy was shown or that any kind of solution was found. Just no, we are right. Not worth repeating.

We ate an incredibly delicious Pizza Margherita. It arrived warm. However, there was some garlic sauce spread over the bag the fries came in. That meant our entire can of Coke Zero was covered in sauce. That was a downside, hence the 4.5. Otherwise, it was really delicious and that pizza really did me good. Thank you for everything; it gave us a very nice evening.

Friendly delivery driver. Unfortunately, the order arrived an hour late and the food was cold and limp. Considering the delivery charge for us of €10, this isn't good value for money. A few years ago, the experience was much more pleasant. This is unfortunately reflected in the reviews from recent months, which is a real shame.

Ordered for 4 people today. Wrong items were delivered, hot wings instead of regular ones. Cold food, a very soggy burger with way too much sauce, and missing fries (which we called about). The gentleman on the phone claimed the fries were gone, even though they were included with another meal. Very strange, and also delivered very late. We won't be ordering from here again! Even though the gentleman promised we'd get free fries on our next order if we reported this incident, I also doubt this is the solution for something like this.

We were with a group of friends in Borger and ordered something here, the delivery was great but when we opened everything we were disappointed with raw fries and cold food and an hour later 2 people threw everything out

Very kind people behind the counter. I couldn't hear understand them all that well, but that might be on me. The preparation took a bit long, especially since I was the only one of two people there, but it wasn't anything horrendous. The atmosphere was fine, but when I took the food with me and opened it elsewhere, there was a very strange smell to it I really hated. The beef burger had a rather middling texture, same for the sauce I ordered, though the fries were very good. I think it wasnt a preparation issue and had more to do with the ingredients, but if you want to eat burgers just go to the BurgerMeister or make them at home instead, sorry.

After waiting an hour and 45 minutes, you get: greasy pizza, limp, dry fries and a burnt burger, and that for almost 100 euros... Not recommended, but judging by the owner's reactions, he can't exactly handle criticism.

The food was absolutely terrible—it was cold, tasteless, and there was even hair in my food. When I contacted them, they told me they had 100 other customers ahead of me and that I shouldn't complain! I'll never come back and I advise everyone against it!

Delicious food, the delivery people and the owner are very customer friendly and always think along with the customers, the pizzas and all food are always fine and warm and never too much rather than too little, top notch!

Last Saturday I placed an online order. A crate of beer with a few pizzas. When it arrived, the beer wasn't even cold. I reported this to the delivery person and got the response, "yes, it's going fast, we don't have enough space to get everything cold". This is not a problem, but don't sell it. The delivery person took the drinks back. I immediately called again and luckily recorded the conversation. The gentleman stated that the drinks had indeed been taken back and I would get my money back. (€50 for a crate of beer...). I reported this to Thuisbezorgd. Message from Thuisbezorgd "To date, our partner has not agreed to the refund and says that the crate of beer was simply delivered." As I wrote earlier, I am glad that I recorded the conversation. I have now sent 5 emails to Thuisbezorgd and called the restaurant 4 times and we still have no solution.

We were always very satisfied with what we ordered from Hollywood. The service was always good but today our opinion about it has changed. We were waiting for our food to come but nothing came. 45 minutes after the specified delivery time, my husband saw something white behind the door. Turns out that's our food. I called about this and later I was told via apps that the delivery person rang the doorbell a few times and also tried to call us by phone while we were just sitting on the couch. Didn't see a delivery person and didn't hear a phone call. Well, it's the last time we order something there. So nice to be called a liar. Good luck further.

I'll be honest: I didn't eat anything there. But I also decided never to order anything after being chased by one of their delivery drivers. I confronted him about how he'd slammed into the street from the sidewalk, where they're apparently allowed to park, while the lights for the bike crossing were green and I had to slam on my brakes. I got all sorts of insults thrown at me, I think. It probably wasn't an offer of free kebab.

I haven't been there myself but ordered online. The snacks were tough and clammy for such a price that is really embarrassing. In addition, we had a pizza where the crusts were not cooked on the inside in most places. We were very disappointed about this of course. We therefore unfortunately do not recommend eating here.

I ordered food, some things were cold, including 1 pizza, the other was warm, too expensive for the quality, and I ordered a lahmacun, which never arrived. I called twice and both times they said it would arrive, but it never arrived. I called again and they said the delivery person would be there within 10 minutes, but it only arrived after an hour.

Hollywood Chicken & Pizza exceeded our expectations tonight! The fast delivery surprised us, especially since we were a large group. The burger menus were a novelty for us and we were blown away by the delicious flavors. The delivery person was extremely friendly. We look forward to ordering here more often. Highly recommended!

Ordered online. No taste in the hair salon. Little cheese. Tasteless and didn't look appetizing either. Very unfortunate

The food was cold on arrival, the delivery person was very unfriendly and in terms of price/quantity it was way out of line. What we paid per person and what the quantity was was absurd. We will never order from here again. For those who don't know yet, King Sparibs and Happy Food Expres are both also prepared here.

Ordered 4 Turkish pizzas around half past twelve at night. When we had to pay, this amounted to no less than €54. This is not possible and there was no negotiation possible. Poor service and quality were also not bad. Unfortunately! Missed opportunity.

Very tasty food, I came to get a pizza, upon arrival they told me it was a bit burnt. They immediately made a new one and I was also allowed to take the slightly burnt pizza with me. Great service!

This is bad. If you order a Kapsalon Dutch, you will receive a bowl with some fries, frikandels and sauce after 1.5 hours. This is stated differently on the site. Well, it's freezing and too dirty to heat up yourself.. You get an annoying email asking for a review.. Have you posted a review on their site? It will be removed.. I understand that they have 5 stars on the site. .. If you delete all the bad reviews, then you deserve it.. Bad thing!

Recently a relative ordered food and he was threatened, as I quote here. Yes, I'm not a dog, don't even think about ordering from here again, if so I'll throw it at the door and if you say something you'll see. This person did not intervene, I would not do the same.

The food can be summarized in one word; BAGGER. Ordered food for 15 people and literally nothing was acceptable. The only thing that came close were the cold spare ribs. Calzone was super little and consisted mainly of dough. Pizzas were also mediocre The Large Gyros was actually Small and the chicken was also inedible. Please, do yourself a favor and order somewhere else.

Food tasted good even though the sandwich completely fell apart. Ordered a 1.5 liter bottle of coke, received a can of coke for this, bye €4.50!! Tried to call 20 times (yes, that's a lot, but okay), always busy. Very sad!!!

We are not the most picky people, but this was really not normal. Initially on the road for much longer than the stated time. Then you ordered food for 42 euros. Hamburgers float in grease, all you taste is sauce. All fries are limp. My friend had a chicken gyros dish with rice for 12.50. This consisted of a foil with chicken pieces and a foil with dry yellow rice. He also had a piece of wire in his chicken. Don't do that people, a waste of your money.

Very bad service. Had to wait over an hour and a half for my food. After 45 minutes I called the business and found out that it was 'very busy'. Barely an apology was forthcoming. Once delivered, the quantity turned out to be very little. I called back to ask if this was even the large version of my order. By the way, there wasn't a single kind word from the delivery person, let alone an apology. Once and never again!!

Often forget things about the order and refuse to solve it. Even if you called to make sure whether the order had arrived correctly. Speak bad Dutch. And it takes a lot of time, sometimes even 2 hours

Damn this was a bad meal I had! Old chicken, smelly rice (old rice smell) I would never order from here again! Also waited extremely long and had to call 3 times!!

I have no idea what the food in the restaurant is like, but I am very dissatisfied with the deliveries. Firstly, the delivery took way too long, about an hour. And after waiting an hour they gave me a wrong dish that wasn't even complete. I called back to ask if I could get the right dish and to say that the order I received wasn't even complete. Three quarters of an hour later someone came with only sauce. So I call the restaurant again asking if I could get my money back. When I asked that I got a very angry response back, he said that I had sent the wrong address as if that was the worst thing in the world, I told him it was a typo but he was not happy about it and just hung up. I will never order food here and I hope you won't order anything from here either.

Best restaurant in Assen! Regular customer and always fast, neat, tidy and not to mention super tasty! Really very good quality! I am very satisfied and definitely recommend it! In my opinion, the best delivery restaurant in Assen!

If you order a spareribs dish, you will get very little, which is not normal and it was also virtually no sauce and a little bit of what was there was not sweet or anything, no honey mustard as ordered. This was definitely the last time I ordered spareribs here.

Worst service ever... ordered 2:15 hours ago and still no food!! It is now 3 o'clock at night, we have placed an order for €55, so it's a waste of money and still no food. Away, out for the evening, money and no food. Thanks for ruining our weekend in Assen (we are from Flevoland)

Specially ordered a shawarma dish with cheese. Forgot cheese, and peppers and onions were hard to find. Very small pieces of shawarma, the taste of which was not good. In short, not worth repeating.
