Great evening with a jazz band. A party every month.

One of the nicer places in Schiedam. An old gym has been converted into a cafe and restaurant and on the square in front of the door a spacious terrace with parasols has been set up. Nice service from the "staff with a backpack". Definitely a recommendation to visit once.

What a beautiful restaurant, from the outside and especially from the inside. Had drinks with 30 friends, lots of quality and lots of snacks, for a low price. Only the service was not fast for such a large group. Then the ten of us had dinner. What excellent quality, and the prices are very affordable. Here you can relax and have dinner with your friends.

We came with a group of 30, and we enjoyed delicious appetizers, and the fresh juice and other drinks were also top-notch. Dinner was absolutely fantastic; the salad Nicoise with salmon and warm cherry tomatoes was delicious, and the other guests' dishes (vegetarian, fish, and meat) looked and sounded delicious. And then there's the lovely atmosphere and a great idea behind it. The staff are friendly, perhaps not always fast, but when you're sitting comfortably and in good company, it's a great way to unwind. ;) An undiscovered gem, and worth coming from Rotterdam for!

It was very quiet and we sat in the sun. Food was good, service was good and the location is great. Afterwards we celebrated our party here, which was a great success.

I didn't know this place yet and ended up there by accident on King's Day. The Terrace is tasty, not too expensive and they had the best sandwich I have eaten in years. It is a beautiful building and there is also a perfect wheelchair-accessible toilet. I would love to come back again!

Great place for everyone, also (but certainly not only!) for people with a budget. We come here usually for a small bite in the afternoon on a Saturday and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The place used to be a sport school and there are some elements of that left in the place as decorations. The furniture is thrift store style and it totally works with the brick walls. The food and drinks are great. Many local products (cheese maker Booij, for example, is in Rotterdam West afaik). We usually go for some sort of sandwich, the typical snack in the afternoon. The social function that the hotspot hutspot initiative serves is just great and should be supported by as many as possible.

Fantastic initiative, it smelled wonderful, unfortunately we didn't eat there this time, but we will definitely go back!

We just live in Schiedam and this restaurant was on our list to try from the start. We were very positively surprised yesterday and had a delicious meal here. The sauerkraut dish was very tasty and you could tell that it had been prepared with care. The quality of the food is high and the price/quality ratio is more than fair. The service is personal and we felt very welcome even though we arrived late, it was not that busy and the kitchen was almost closing. We will definitely eat here more often!!!

We were unsure whether we could go in there to 'just' have something to eat. We thought it was a meeting place for less fortunate people who could get something to eat there. Went inside anyway. We had a nice lunch and donated something for those who have a little less to spend. Nice place, good service and delicious food. Just go and have a look!

First of all, this restaurant is located in a beautiful and attractive building. The food was of very good quality. We had a delicious salad and fresh soup as a starter, cheese fondue as a main course and delicious profiteroles for dessert. So delicious that I immediately made a reservation for the next evening. The service was great and as a final treat I received a bag of home-baked gingerbread nuts. Highly recommended! When paying, we immediately donated a meal, which is not a task at all given the extremely reasonable prices. Nice concept!

Lovely informal place to eat something. We were here prior to a theater performance. They carry a small card. That was no problem for us.

Luckily the waitress advised against the 3-course menu (commenting it might be too much). So we only had to wait 45 minutes twice for a starter and a main course. The long waiting time is unimaginable because there were just 3 tables occupied, there was a lot of staff there and all the food ordered should have been prepared. We almost starved waiting. The food was very good (but little). For dessert we needed fries from the kebab shop...

We just had a drink. Nice location, cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Last week we threw a dance party for family and friends at Hutspot Schiedam. Everything was great! A super nice location, friendly staff, the snacks were diverse, surprising and delicious and the atmosphere was really good. And yesterday we had a delicious meal for a surprisingly low price. Hutspot's concept is very nice and is an added value for the city. Recommended!

We sat on the terrace and had something to eat and drink. Price/quality was very good! It just took a while, but the people were friendly and polite. In short, it is worth repeating!

Nice place to have something to eat. In fact it is an employment project. It is located in a former school building in the historic center of Schiedam. The food is fine, not expensive and the atmosphere relaxed. Hst is of course something different than a restaurant, but very worthwhile.

What a cozy and tastefully decorated grand cafe/restaurant in the historic old gymnasium of Schiedam. Price/quality is excellent here and the staff is very courteous.

Food and service top! It was very cozy and located in a beautiful spot in Schieham

A beautiful building from the outside. Unfortunately this was the only positive point of this evening. The starter (salmon with asparagus) was served in a plastic container like a cheap frikadel special and unfortunately also had the same amount of mayonnaise. The main course (pork tenderloin with salad) was very dry and well done. The salad also had a lot of mayonnaise. It was the first time in my life that I left a plate full, the staff did come and ask why, but that was it. Now a new dish was not necessary, because my partner's dish was just as bad. Furthermore, the restaurant was very dusty and did not give a fresh impression. I don't recommend eating here, we will certainly never return.

Top location, beautiful building, tasty and affordable menu from 17.50e, good local products (e.g. Schmidt sea fish, Booij cheese) and also nice and unique organic soft drinks, for example. Huge portions. It is a special initiative (see website) and also a place to learn. If you want tip-top service, you don't have to come here (they were well served both times). Top!

A beautifully decorated room in a beautiful location. It is an excellent concept with people who are a little further away from the labor market. Not everyone has graduated from the catering school and you will notice that, but the employees more than compensate for that with their commitment and enthusiasm. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. We will definitely come back here!

Nice restaurant. You can sit inside and outside. It's very cheap but good food. I was also pleased with the quantity. No negative comments about it, just compliments.
