We ordered sushi a day in advance. We finally received it 1.5 hours later... That can happen once, of course, but you aren't notified about it or given even a small compensation like a can of soda or something similar.. If you call yourself, you get an incredibly rude man on the phone who thinks you shouldn't make a fuss after waiting for 45 minutes and says the order is on its way... Well, that turned out not to be the case. The second time we called, after waiting for almost 1.5 hours, the man started shouting loudly while we were very calm, just wondering if we were actually going to get the food.. The sushi itself is quite tasty but arrives extremely squashed, which is definitely a downside. We won't be ordering from here again.. :(

I've been waiting for 2.20 hours already, and still NOTHING. The restaurant says "they're almost there" after calling twice, and Thuisbezorgd said "already delivered." The person on the phone also acts like it's the most normal thing in the world. Please skip this one and order from Shabu!! Edit: it took 2 HOURS and 40 minutes! And 80 minutes were promised. And as if things couldn't get any worse, the sushi falls apart just by looking at it. They really only get this 1 star because the delivery person was cool. Edit 2: tried again, ordered at 4 for 6, and you'll never guess! 30 minutes late! Then you try to call and get hung up on twice.

Contacted thuisbezorgd.nl, phone number (06) with caller ID to I Love Sushi Apeldoorn (shared kitchen??). Called, "The delivery driver has been on his way for 10 minutes! He'll be here soon!" 20:30, no food. Contacted thuisbezorgd.nl, referring to the existing bad reviews. No need for escalation, please cancel the order and refund. Immediately received a positive response and 30 seconds later, a text message with cancellation and refund. Within a minute, a call from the Amsterdam number of Korean fried chicken Apeldoorn. "The delivery driver has been in the area for a long time but can't find the address." No car seen for the past 2.5 hours. During the call, I indicated I had canceled and referred to the reviews, no need for escalation. The connection was immediately disconnected, no further communication.

A truly terrible experience. The food wasn't delivered until two hours later. When you call the restaurant, you get a very antisocial, overwrought man on the phone who starts yelling at you. Apparently, he thinks it's normal to deliver food two and a half hours late and then yell that he can't handle the comments. The food is also absolutely terrible. The seaweed tastes like water, and the sushi is half-frozen. We will definitely never come here again and won't recommend it to friends or family. We will also definitely file a complaint with the restaurant.

Ordered food at 4 p.m. for delivery at 6 p.m. Unfortunately, after waiting an hour and a half, we still hadn't received anything, so we called and were told the delivery driver was on his way. Half an hour later, we called again to ask where it was, because if someone was on their way, it should have been there by now. They made excuses, saying the delivery driver had had an accident and that it was actually on its way. After some further persuasion, they said, "It'll take about another hour." When I explained that we'd be waiting three hours for an order by then and thought it was a bad story, I was called a complete idiot. There was cursing and shouting from a man who clearly can't handle the stress. At 9:30 p.m., three and a half hours after my order was supposed to arrive, a friendly delivery driver showed up. Unfortunately, we were already "fed up" and didn't accept the food. Now we just hope we'll ever get back the 50 euros we spent. Hopefully, we can count on Thuisbezorgd. Update: Thuisbezorgd was generous enough to refund our money. We will definitely never order from I Love Sushi again.

It's a bit odd, you order your food delivered to your home, and it's supposed to arrive at 8:00. You're told their car broke down and they'll arrive by scooter. Then they arrive at 9:00 PM, and all the sushi is loose in the bag... and then you try to call them, and no one is available. 😡 This is the first and last time I'll order anything from them. Never again!!! Very bad. They said it was busy and would take an hour. After 1.5 hours, nothing, so I called. The delivery driver initially took a different route. He said he'd be there in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, nothing, so I called again. Problems. I'm on my way. Another 30 minutes later. After waiting 2.5 hours, I called again. No one answered. After waiting a total of 3 hours, I received a call. The delivery driver had been at the door and found no one there. There are six cameras here, and my son had been sitting in front of the window the whole time. They hadn't been there.

Terribly poor sushi for the price you pay. Ordered over 80 euros worth of food and had to throw away at least half. Strong-smelling salmon with a distinct aftertaste and very poor quality tuna that felt gritty in the mouth. Once but never again. I can't believe this place still exists and dares to call itself a sushi lover, when after this order, the love for sushi is so hard to find, almost impossible to find. What a terrible place. Definitely not recommended!!!!

Last Sunday, we ordered food. It was supposed to be delivered at 5:15 PM. By 7:00 PM, we still hadn't received anything. It's okay to overrun, but not like this. We called three times, and each time they said: "The delivery driver is on his way" (yes, he should have been there in fifteen minutes). We went there and wanted our money back. A lot of arguing and a rather rude jerk behind the counter!! He promised us: keep the food, you don't have to pay, you'll get your money back, blah blah. We went home, and guess what??? Then we didn't get any food at all!!! We then had to email them to sort it out ourselves. We did, and no response... Just don't order from here!! Reporting it is definitely an option.

My partner and I went to Apeldoorn for a short vacation. We were there twice within 4 days and took sushi with us. As a vegetarian, I got my money's worth: great, tasty versions with crunchy ingredients that I haven't been able to eat from other providers. And really very tasty! For comparison, we went to a restaurant in Apeldoorn that had a much better rating - here on Google - and which definitely failed for both of us when it came to sushi. That's why we ended up with "I love Sushi" a second time. The employee was really friendly and was able to process our order quickly despite the house being full. He made us and other customers aware of special orders/discounts/promotions. Soy sauce was added very generously. On our second visit, the employee also gave us more sushi than we had actually ordered, free of charge - and also informed us of this. So it wasn't an accident. I haven't had the chance to experience that before either. One single note: we couldn't pay by card. We would have liked to have been informed of this before ordering.

After waiting 3 hours, home delivery has just confirmed that the food will no longer be delivered tonight. And that on Valentine's Day. We have already received a refund, which we now have to wait 3 working days for. They probably delivered it somewhere else because the home delivery app indicated that it had been delivered. But only after 2.5 hours. I hope next time just a phone call or a message that they can't deliver on time. At least then you can choose something else. Ignoring, not being available and not delivering is not very polite in my opinion.

Placed an order at 6:25 PM, called at 7:20 PM to ask how long it would take, the gentleman told us that the delivery person is on his way and it won't take long. The gentleman says it can be delivered any time now. At 8:45 PM our order finally arrived. Unfortunately, the order is missing sushi, soy sauce and chopsticks. When I call the restaurant, the gentleman says he does not believe us and asks us what we expect from him, we indicate that we want our sushi and soya sauce. The gentleman indicates that they can only deliver the sticks and soya sauce in an hour, we did not agree to this. Very sorry about the service!

Pinocchio tent 1st class. They are especially good at lies and deception. They get a 10 in making promises, but they don't even deliver a 1. Rude, unfriendly staff. That happened once but never again at this location. More than an hour late, food was no longer OK. Delivery instructions are not read, the flappy turd is still in the wrong place. We order here quite often because we like the sushi and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, sometimes the staff is irritated and unfriendly for no reason. Some time ago I ordered and found myself standing in front of a closed door, even though I was there on time. The last time I was there, the response was curt when I came to pick up my order. However, when the food finally arrived they had forgotten half of the order. Can happen of course. Tried calling a total of 10 times but the phone number doesn't work. We have emailed, but no answer yet. In other words, we ended up with half the sushi for the whole price. (By the way, the sushi is tasty).

Unfortunately, the last two times we had to wait really long for the food... the sushi is delicious. But my little one eats fries when we eat sushi and we couldn't eat together again. We didn't eat until 45 minutes later. Very sorry! Not really service oriented on the phone either. It's on its way, ma'am...and hung up again.

The gentleman on the phone is in a hurry and you can't finish your sentence... I ordered my food from 5 with the option of having it delivered at 8 and he was an hour and a half late... you are not offered anything for the delay. .. and like the other reviews "it's busy" you get on the phone.

I've been coming here for years and order by phone. I have been to many sushi places but the price quality at this place is a 10! I certainly cannot agree with the bad reviews I read about I Love Sushi. Fresh fish nicely turned and not a dirty slab of rice. Definitely recommend this place!

Ordered at 7pm for delivery at 8pm. The delivery person arrived at 8:15 PM. That in itself is not so bad. What we found worse was the sushi itself. It was dry and tasted old. We left the tuna as it no longer looked good. (Photo) So the last time here. Next time, look further

Food quality that is worth the money. Delivery is a bit iffy at times because for whatever reason the address is always listed wrong on their GPS. So delivery takes a bit longer, but they are always kind and generous.

Great store, they make delicious food and call you if they think you've forgotten something, so the service is good too. It's clear that they mainly order takeout, though, as the interior isn't great.

We've eaten at Green Leaf four times. Friendly staff and delicious sushi. They even have their own parking space for guests. This weekend, the owner had a bad day: there were a lot of guests absent and the restaurant was packed. As a result, the food took a very long time to arrive, and many dishes weren't even served. Without asking, the owner compensated us. Absolutely top-notch. We'll be back for another meal soon.
