I Love Sushi Apeldoorn in West

Waited almost 3.5 hours for huge lumps of rice. Never again! Luckily, Thuisbezorgd will refund your money after such a horrific experience.

Ordered food at 4 p.m. for delivery at 6 p.m. Unfortunately, after waiting an hour and a half, we still hadn't received anything, so we called and were told the delivery driver was on his way. Half an hour later, we called again to ask where it was, because if someone was on their way, it should have been there by now. They made excuses, saying the delivery driver had had an accident and that it was actually on its way. After some further persuasion, they said, "It'll take about another hour." When I explained that we'd be waiting three hours for an order by then and thought it was a bad story, I was called a complete idiot. There was cursing and shouting from a man who clearly can't handle the stress. Unfortunately, the order never arrived, and now we just have to hope we'll ever get the 50 euros we spent back. Hopefully, we can count on Thuisbezorgd.

Worthless, they opened a second restaurant at the same address? But it's from I Love Sushi... Same problems, different name... Ordered crappy food, never delivered... People on the phone were rude and unhelpful... The delivery driver was nearby... Well, even if I had walked, I should have had my food after 2 hours?

The food arrives jumbled and half loose in the bag... if you're missing something and you call to report it, you're told it's unacceptable and treated like crap...

I ordered from I Love Sushi twice this week. Both times, the sushi was loose and crushed in the bag. The second time, the order was incomplete. After calling, we got an angry man on the phone, and after calling again, they hung up on us and cursed at us over the phone. Absolutely not recommended!!

It's a bit odd, you order your food delivered to your home, and it's supposed to arrive at 8:00. You're told their car broke down and they'll arrive by scooter. Then they arrive at 9:00 PM, and all the sushi is loose in the bag... and then you try to call them, and no one is available. 😡 This is the first and last time I'll order anything from them. Be warned, don't buy anything from them!!!!

Unfortunately, I didn't receive any food, which was a terrible experience. When I called to ask where it was, I was told they didn't know how long it would take and that they felt bad for themselves because it was so busy. Luckily, I ordered through Thuiszorgd, and they're getting my money back.

Never again!!! Very bad. They said it was busy and would take an hour. After 1.5 hours, nothing, so I called. The delivery driver initially took a different route. He said he'd be there in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, nothing, so I called again. Problems. I'm on my way. Another 30 minutes later. After waiting 2.5 hours, I called again. No one answered. After waiting a total of 3 hours, I received a call. The delivery driver had been at the door and found no one there. There are six cameras here, and my son had been sitting in front of the window the whole time. They hadn't been there.

Disgraceful delivery service, had to wait over an hour. After calling twice, they responded shortly. I don't know what that means to them, but it's different for me.

Terribly poor sushi for the price you pay. Ordered over 80 euros worth of food and had to throw away at least half. Strong-smelling salmon with a distinct aftertaste and very poor quality tuna that felt gritty in the mouth. Once but never again. I can't believe this place still exists and dares to call itself a sushi lover, when after this order, the love for sushi is so hard to find, almost impossible to find. What a terrible place. Definitely not recommended!!!!

I had this sushi delivered, it took at least 3 hours for it to arrive and it was not filling at all and be careful with the chopsticks because there could be splinters in them

These people are absolutely ruthless. As soon as you comment, their true colors come out, and they become rude. You wait far too long for your food, and then you're insulted because they think they're the best in Apeldoorn and you should respect them. Never again, and they're not the best either, and it doesn't even come true if you say so yourself!

Last Sunday, we ordered food. It was supposed to be delivered at 5:15 PM. By 7:00 PM, we still hadn't received anything. It's okay to overrun, but not like this. We called three times, and each time they said: "The delivery driver is on his way" (yes, he should have been there in fifteen minutes). We went there and wanted our money back. A lot of arguing and a rather rude jerk behind the counter!! He promised us: keep the food, you don't have to pay, you'll get your money back, blah blah. We went home, and guess what??? Then we didn't get any food at all!!! We then had to email them to sort it out ourselves. We did, and no response... Just don't order from here!! Reporting it is definitely an option.

Ordered at 6:06 PM, delivered after 3 hours and 14 minutes. I called the company once, but the man I got on the phone was quite unsociable and very dry. I would never order from here again because what we received was also on the small side for what we paid, such as the poke bowl with chicken had no taste and the bowl was only half full.

My partner and I went to Apeldoorn for a short vacation. We were there twice within 4 days and took sushi with us. As a vegetarian, I got my money's worth: great, tasty versions with crunchy ingredients that I haven't been able to eat from other providers. And really very tasty! For comparison, we went to a restaurant in Apeldoorn that had a much better rating - here on Google - and which definitely failed for both of us when it came to sushi. That's why we ended up with "I love Sushi" a second time. The employee was really friendly and was able to process our order quickly despite the house being full. He made us and other customers aware of special orders/discounts/promotions. Soy sauce was added very generously. On our second visit, the employee also gave us more sushi than we had actually ordered, free of charge - and also informed us of this. So it wasn't an accident. I haven't had the chance to experience that before either. One single note: we couldn't pay by card. We would have liked to have been informed of this before ordering.

Ordered food at 5:00 PM via home delivery. It's now 9:00 PM, and I still haven't gotten my food. Lost money and didn't eat... Whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER HERE!

After waiting 3 hours, home delivery has just confirmed that the food will no longer be delivered tonight. And that on Valentine's Day. We have already received a refund, which we now have to wait 3 working days for. They probably delivered it somewhere else because the home delivery app indicated that it had been delivered. But only after 2.5 hours. I hope next time just a phone call or a message that they can't deliver on time. At least then you can choose something else. Ignoring, not being available and not delivering is not very polite in my opinion.

Very very very bad! Placed an order at 4:30 PM and had it delivered at 6:15 PM. It wasn't there yet at 7:30 PM. We went to the sushi point and we were not the only ones there. The gentleman behind the counter still had to start placing the order. Was extremely unfriendly! Money back was not an option and if we didn't like it we had to call home and write a bad review. ASOCIAL! NEVER AGAIN!

Placed an order in the afternoon at 2:00 PM for delivery at 5:45 PM. The order has not been delivered, but payment has been made and the company cannot be reached by telephone.

I found the food disappointing, it fell apart and was tasteless. Too expensive for what you get.

Placed an order at 6:25 PM, called at 7:20 PM to ask how long it would take, the gentleman told us that the delivery person is on his way and it won't take long. We called again at 7:55 PM because unfortunately our order had not yet arrived, again we received the same answer that the delivery person was on his way and it should not take long. Sir offers us €10 discount for our next order, which is very reasonable and we wait patiently again. In the meantime it was 8:30 PM and we had not yet received our order and called again. The gentleman says it can be delivered any time now. At 8:45 PM our order finally arrived. Unfortunately, the order is missing sushi, soy sauce and chopsticks. When I call the restaurant, the gentleman says he does not believe us and asks us what we expect from him, we indicate that we want our sushi and soya sauce. The gentleman indicates that they can only deliver the sticks and soya sauce in an hour, we did not agree to this. Very sorry about the service!

Pinocchio tent 1st class. They are especially good at lies and deception. They get a 10 in making promises, but they don't even deliver a 1. Rude, unfriendly staff. That happened once but never again at this location. More than an hour late, food was no longer OK. Delivery instructions are not read, the flappy turd is still in the wrong place. Will not be compensated in any way. Bad, bad and even more bad. I advise everyone NOT to order here!

Yesterday the delivery went a bit wrong. It took too long and therefore the food was no longer optimal. Today I called the company about this. The nice gentleman resolved the complaint immediately! And how: a delicious large order was delivered to our home today; free!!! And it was still delicious. Everything fresh and made with care, especially for us. That's another service! We order here quite often because we like the sushi and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, sometimes the staff is irritated and unfriendly for no reason. Some time ago I ordered and found myself standing in front of a closed door, even though I was there on time. The last time I was there, the response was curt when I came to pick up my order. I understand that the staff wants to go home, but then you don't have to take it out on customers. In short, excellent sushi, but customer service could be better.

Ordered last night from I Love Sushi Apeldoorn via their own website. It took a long time for them to get here even though they are 5 minutes away. However, when the food finally arrived they had forgotten half of the order. Can happen of course. Tried calling a total of 10 times but the phone number doesn't work. We have emailed, but no answer yet. In other words, we ended up with half the sushi for the whole price. (By the way, the sushi is tasty).

I've been coming here for years and order by phone. I have been to many sushi places but the price quality at this place is a 10! I certainly cannot agree with the bad reviews I read about I Love Sushi. Fresh fish nicely turned and not a dirty slab of rice. Definitely recommend this place!

Ordered sushi at 6:45 PM and the sushi would be delivered at 7:15 PM. At 7:45 PM I called the company to see if they could tell me how long it would take. I love sushi told me they were working on it and it would arrive as soon as possible. At 8:15 PM we called again to ask where the sushi is. I received the answer again that they were working on it and would arrive as soon as possible. At 8:45 PM I called again and they said the delivery person was on his way. At 9:10 PM I received a call that the rice had run out and so I could no longer make my order. Final score, waited 2.5 hours, no response to phone calls and lost my money. Never again I love Sushi for me.
