Very cozy cafe with a large selection of homemade pastries and different types of coffee. The crowd is generally young and the cafe is also perfect for studying or working.

Best coffee in Leiden. Always sit comfortably and Gerben knows how to give exactly what you want. Be sure to have a conversation if you order something, because you can always expect something to measure.

I am disappointed and sad to leave only 2 stars, but I have too. I was a regular client, since the coffee is actually good. But I pre ordered a cake (1 week in advance) and when I arrive to pick it up one piece was missing. Completely unprofessional and of course I had already paid, so it was frustrating and disappointing.

Amazing place for studying, working ir chilling. Cozy and homy vibes and all foods and drinks are great. I totally recommend this place to tourists and local who want to recharge in a safe space. Well done

Good place to do some work or studying. They allow laptop inside the cafe. They also provide a restroom. The baristas are friendly. They sell some thrift clothing and cats souvenirs since it’s connected to the thrift shop next door.

Very delicious coffee of good quality. Nice Chemex filter coffee, clean, crisp, no overextraction. Had a sample of the same coffee from Colombia as a cold brew which was even better. It highlighted the fruity notes even more (even though I usually don’t drink cold brew, I might reconsider exploring this space in the future). The specialty tea is also delicious! I had a white tea which was server in a gongfu style brewer. Almost no astringency, great level of extraction! It’s rare to find cafés that serve both great tea and coffee!

I love this place! It is a heaven for vegan people. A lot of vegan options and great croissants (especially ham and cheese and chocolate). Great vibe you can sit and work there as well or read. The people who work there are nice and friendly

I think it is too bohemian-modern forme. A cafeteria with clothes, a play area for children... The coffee I ordered was good and so was the pain au chocolat. It was warm.

I’ve visited this place many times now. Service, food and drinks are all great.

The cafe stands side by side with a thrift store. They're actually the same building separated by a wall. They have a toilet here. Service was okay, the coffee was great, and the vibe was good for study. Some people opened their laptops and books. They also have vegan options i think.

Good coffee but hygiene needs attention. I’ve been to this coffee shop a few times, and the coffee is consistently good. However, during my recent visit, I saw a mouse close to the the table between the toilets and the clothing store, which was concerning from a hygiene standpoint. I hope the management takes appropriate steps to ensure cleanliness since hygiene is crucial for any food establishment.

Nice atmosphere, too bad you have to order at the corner. Good hot drinks, the iced coffee is really nasty. What a disappointment. Cakes are fine, but difficult with allergies because almost everything contains nuts.

The cappuccino with oat milk was very tasty, as was the hot chocolate. They forgot the sugar in the apple pie today, but it still tasted great (at least completely homemade :)). The oreo brownie was nice and fudgy!

Okay coffee, below average service. Not really a specialty cafe. Unfortunately I got served very acidic coffee while I had explicitly requested coffee which would be sweeter and less acidic. The barista in charge didn't know his coffee well and couldn't explain the differences, similarities and origin of the coffee beans. We didn't stay inside, because it looked very much like a mess. I won't return.

Relaxed and relaxed place for very tasty coffee! Everything can be made according to personal wishes. Service is very nice and friendly ♡ you immediately feel at ease. It's like coming home. Pastries are homemade, fresh and delicious. Quite a wide choice. There are also various varieties of croissants. The coconut date cake was delicious.. the chai latte also very good.

Super delicious (vegan) coffee and apple pie! We came across this shop by chance and both ordered a cappuccino (one with cow's milk and one with soy milk) and apple pie. Both cappuccino variants were very good and made with love. The waitress was super nice and brought our order to our table. German is also spoken here, so there were no problems with understanding. The apple pie is definitely homemade and recommended. If we are in Leiden again, we would love to come back!

Zufallsfund und sehr glücklich darüber: Interessanter Laden mit sehr leckerem Kaffee und selbst gemachtem Kuchen. Der Apple Pie ist wirklich zu empfehlen, mit Nüssen und Rosinen. Latte Macchiato ebenfalls sehr gut. Kleine Preise - wir haben für zwei Latte und ein Stück Kuchen keine 10 Euro bezahlt. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wenn ihr in Leiden seid: Sehr zu empfehlen!

I went there last week and ordered a brownie and an iced coffee, both of which were very good. The ambiance of the place is also pleasant, and it is possible to work or study at the tables.

I could not find coffee with ice cream on the menu although the place seemingly should have it. I also did not see iced latte on the menu but I see it in Google Photos which is weird. The cappuccino was pretty good, although a bit hot. The flat white was pretty bitter to me - probably this is how it should be but it’s definitely differs from other coffee shops so might be a bit unexpected

I’ve been coming here regularly for a few months now and let me tell you: 5 stars is an understatement. the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere, all incredible!! best coconut latte in leiden if not the whole world!

Heel fijn koffietentje. Het fijne is dat qua koffie en gebak niets maar dan ook niets teleursteld. En dat is helaas weleens anders als het om vegan eettentjes gaat. Daarnaast superfijn personeel waarvan je echt ziet dat ze met liefde hun werk doen. Echt een toptentje💚

Koffie is hier prima lekker en heb ook een tijdje terug een keer een vegan gebakje gekocht welke ook smakelijk was. Toch twee redenen waarom ik hier niet mee naartoe ga: 1. Inrichting is te basic, beetje shabby naar mijn smaak en dus niet echt gezellig om te vertoeven. 2. Kwam met een vriendin (vegan) binnen om gezellig te lunchen en de jongedame achter de balie kon haar slechte bui niet verbergen en begroette onze vrolijke goedemiddag met een sacherijnige blik, bracht een moeizame hallo uit en keek weg. Ongeïnteresseerde bediening is voor ons altijd een reden om ergens anders heen te gaan want het leven is te kort voor dat soort fratsen.

Currently the best espresso I've had in Leiden. You can work here on a laptop too, with several work oriented areas. Can't comment on food.

Good coffee. Staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The ripped couches and crates for seats may be a vibe, but they don't particularly make it more comfortable. The workspace area is a little dark for reading. But all in all this a pretty nice place for a quick cup of coffee with a book.

Location: 5/5 very beautiful area Service/staff: 5/5 very pleasant Iced latte: 2/5 tasted more like water to be honest. No flavour and it wasn't even cold. Had a few ice cubes floating on top.
