I go here for coffee every week. It's always a pleasant atmosphere and delicious coffee. Sometimes they even have a delicious sandwich. Highly recommended. They also sell bread, baked by Iambe's bakery.

Very good neighborhood bakery with good value and friendly staff. A truly good neighborhood bakery with great staff and products. Definitely recommended.

I used to come here every day for fresh bread and a quiet coffee, but sadly this place is losing its charm fast. What was once a cozy, quality bakery is now turning into just another noisy tourist trap. Big guided groups constantly crowd the space, ruining the atmosphere that made this place special. The bread is still great, but loyal local customers like me are leaving. I’ve already found a better bakery nearby where I can enjoy my bread and coffee in peace, and I won’t be coming back until things change.

The best, one of the tastiest, and above all, the most fun bakeries in Amsterdam! Always a pleasant experience, the bread is always delicious, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. You can also get a delicious cup of coffee or a sandwich here. Skip the supermarket bread and come here to pick up some on your morning off.

Great bread. Their "extra sour sourdough without yeast" - I don't know what's the actual store name - was actually sufficiently sour and tasty for me. As compared to what sometimes passes as "zuurdesem" in NL. Also the prices are not too bad at all for organic products and for NL. I've got to try some of their other stuff!

Jambe employs people with intellectual disabilities, and oh, how welcoming, kind, and attentive they are to their customers. And the bread from their own bakery is delicious, too. Of course, you support the business by buying your bread or croissant there. You can also enjoy a coffee, but I've never done that.

The best bread in town go to Iambe if you care about what you eat and want to impact people and planet. Going to Iambe to pickup bread is always a humbling experience for me. There is a lot of effort, kindness and people trying to do their best. Every morning. Every day.

Dat zijn nog eens amandelspeculaasjes! Zoveel amandel op de speculaas krijg je nergens. Top gevulde koeken ook, groot en klein, met echte amandelspijs. Heerlijk! En dan dat bierbostel (ja, echt!)brood. Moet je proeven. Trouwens al hun broden zijn lekker en het uitproberen waard. Dat met walnoten is ongezoet. Kan dus ook met (zachte) kaas of goeie hoemoes. Alles biologisch. Leuk zitje voor de deur. Bijzondere bediening. Topadres.

Nice croissant, I liked that it was not very buttery. Unfortunately the cappuccino was made from an automatic coffee machine :( however it was served with a small glass of water and a cookie, which I appreciated a lot. Total for a cappuccino and a croissant was 4 €

Wonderful organic, vegan, sugar free honey-cookies. So many different organic breads to choose from, including sour-dough.

Iambe is een bakkerij die gevestigd is midden in de Pijp. Er worden hier dagverse producten verkocht die in hun eigen bakkerij gemaakt worden. Ze hebben ook een zit hoek waar de klant de mogelijkheid geboden wordt om belegde broodjes/taartjes en lekkere koffie te bestellen. De mensen die hier werken hebben een verstandelijke of lichamelijke beperking. Dankzij deze bakkerij krijgen ze de kans om mee te draaien in de maatschappij iets wat ik een onwijs mooi initiatief vind. Ik kom graag bij deze bakkerij en kan deze bakkerij iedereen aanbevelen

The bakery is run by de Raphaëlstichting, who offers at de Pijp & Oud-West in Amsterdam, a stage place for mentally disabled people. I tried the sausage bread what was delicious. Seems that their breads are also very good. You can use your food inside.

Esta panadería sirve como desayuno, almuerzo y teaspot. ¿O es al revés? Cualquiera que fuera, los rollos eran maravillosos, la toastie tenía calidad de libro de texto (crujiente, pegajosa), la sopa diaria (coliflor) era una delicia. Y el personal fue maravilloso!

Behalve brood kopen kun je hier ook koffie drinken....maar ook leuke zelfgemaakte kadootjes kopen...je wordt altijd heel behulpzaam geholpen....echt een ervaring...zo kan brood kopen ook
