Cozy, friendly staff, ate what was ordered and it was also delicious, on a beautiful terrace at a clean table!

Far from an ideal neighbor. Pick-up time agreed, and then had to wait more than half an hour longer. When you say something about it, the nonchalant owner tells you that more people order on Saturdays. Bitterballs that are crushed, little sense of quality, service and friendliness.

I understand that this place is doing well.... the food is delicious, they are in a beautiful location, but it is also important to mention: the staff is friendly and the owner is fantastic. Great place to enjoy good food and drinks.

Great fries, but an expensive neighbor

No longer an ideal neighbor for us.... Partner ordered papat war with an egg ball. Egg ball was cold inside, fries had no salt on it, peanut sauce was inedible. I ordered a chicken satay baguette. There were no baguettes, according to the employee, they had to be baked first. Apparently it was too much trouble. The other sandwiches were for burgers only. In short, not worth repeating...

Cafeteria where you can enjoy your food in peace. Staff are friendly and helpful. Price/quality ratio, top!

Yes, one of the better snack bars. Friendly staff; the owner is always ready for a nice chat, good food, outside terrace on the Reitdiep. In short, great!

If you run a snack bar with a company name like this, you expect 'something' And if you see upon entering that there is a sticker from a visit by Rob Geus, this should be a 1+1=2 Now I can imagine that you sometimes have a bad day, even as a staff member, but from what we saw yesterday, @owner might be smart to join your business himself. Clutter everywhere, on the floor, tables, counter, and workbench (for the staff). Just a terrible mess, I can't describe it any other way. Hygiene was therefore hard to find because besides being dirty and messy, there were also a number of open containers containing the ingredients for the sandwiches (cheese, etc.). And they were not touched during the 45 minutes we were there. If you are a staff member in a cafeteria, awareness of what you are doing seems to me to be the number 1 priority. But if you're baking fries in shorts, you're really missing the point!! In conclusion, I would also like to give a tip for frying rasp fries; it should absolutely not be fried as long and crispy as regular fries... Consulsion: this neighbor is not that ideal, far from it, a shame because if you are in a location like this in a neighborhood like this you can get so much more out of it!

I wish I had the ideal neighbor as my neighbor in Germany. Then I would be fat, but full and happy.

I'll leave it at this last time. Ordered food online. It was neatly confirmed and is coming. Received a call... we are not delivering tonight... ???? You'll get your money back tomorrow. Me: Just deposit it back. Our system cannot do that. Will be delivered cash back tomorrow. You already understand…. no one seen!! How long will this case be around? I left out a previous experience!

Already ordered food this afternoon at 3:23 PM so that it could be delivered at 6:00 PM. So during football. Called at half time at 6:45 PM to ask where it was. They only had 1 delivery person because they didn't know it would be busy. And "everyone wants to watch football". Can I get in, but if I order at half past four, a bit of time management. Then a delivery person comes to the door and apologizes. It was delivered at 7:15 PM. We open the bag. Everything covered in sauce. Nasi disk completely crushed and the normal fries were still raw. Sorry, I understand the crowds, but this is not okay. Not social on the phone either.

Softijs and sundae ice cream are terrible

Last Friday's experience was very poor. Unfortunately not the “extra crispy fries” I ordered. The fries were limp and pale. And the croquette was not crispy and also crushed. And that wasn't the first time. As far as I'm concerned, this is the last time. The atmosphere among the staff was icy. I have never experienced that before. The “boss” was very stressed and there was a lot of grumbling about the staff. With a little more love, attention and positivity, things could easily be much better!

Yesterday after a long time I ordered something again from the ideal neighbor but was certainly not satisfied, delivered 45 minutes late and the fries were lukewarm and tough And the milkshake wasn't tasty either, we won't be doing it again

What a ball tent. It was incredibly quiet and we waited another 25 minutes for a small order. The staff was just chatting with each other. When the order was ready, I still forgot the hamburger sandwich, but that was put together quickly. This just isn't even worth one star. Once and never again.

Thanks for the food, just a note: instead of a sateh croquette I had a regular croquette and instead of chicken nuggets we got chicken fingers.

2 pieces of burned chicken(I hope so) and even the owner has no words for it. Also almost 5 euros extra in a "mistake". Calling food to what they serve is a joke. Not worth the view. Run away!!

Very bad, first pay too much, then they no longer have the receipt to settle it. The chicken dishes look tasty on the picture, but what you get is a mini piece of burnt chicken swimming in the sauce with a few fries... saying something kindly about it is not appreciated either.

Waited 20 mins for one deep-fried dish because employee forgot. Never going here again.

Had a good cafeteria today, egg ball and a special fries, I really liked it, you are helped quickly and it is ready quickly, so you don't have to wait long, we will definitely come here again

Tasty mayo, great fries. Hamburger a bit dark, but still tasty. Smooth operation. Recommended. Unfortunately my last experience was much less. Cremated shawarma, overcooked fries and chicken burger... If you complain via chat, it will be read, but there will be no response. The hair salon went straight into the Clicko.

Got 1 satay fries and 1 shawarma fries. First helped and paid. Then the staff throws the food in the pan and you think it will go well. You come home, shawarma burnt. Just has a charred taste. The satay is burnt on the outside and it is almost undercooked on the inside. Too bad about this. Perhaps it is wise that the staff is not constantly on the phone while preparing the food. Very bad! This is very unfortunate

Het eten was snel klaar en warm, echter plakte de tafel (nog steeds). Eigenaar praatte/riep hard tegen z'n medewerkers en kwam boven de muziek uit.

In de pauze even lamgs geweest voor een snack, was lekker en je hebt een geweldig uitzicht!

Patat, heerlijk. Cheeseburger verbrand en dus oneetbaar , kipsaté verschroeid en dus kurkdroog. Dat was dus een eenmalig bezoek

Toffe eigenaar, leuk personeel, lekker eten. Ontzettend aardige mensen en heerlijk ijs!

Het was al een poosje geleden dat we hier waren geweest. De patat en snacks waren lekker maar daar was alles mee gezegd. We hadden nog nooit meegemaakt dat bijna alle tafels zo plakkerig waren. Zelfs de rode bankjes waren plakkerig. Dit zijn we niet gewend bij de Ideale Buurman. Wellicht ligt het aan welk personeel in de cafetaria staat.

Ras patat beetje door gebakken (vind ik wel lekker)zout leek er niet/echt op te zitten snacks waren goed maar aan de donkere kant gemiddelde cafetaria niet echt slecht maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding ligt net iets te ver uit elkaar als ze iets meer hun best doen kan het een hele goeie worden mooie locatie

Op het terras heb ik eens gegeten en een milkshake opgedronken. De bediening was helemaal top. En, ik vond het hier niet (te) duur. Even ter info; 22 oktober 2022; 1 shoarmarol kost hier € 3,75 (in Uithuizermeeden bij Coralie € 4,05)

Hamburgers waren gewoon geen 4€ + waard. Amper sla zat erin, burger was gewoon gegooid op t brood. Droog en smaakloos.

De patatjes oorlog, de kroketten en de bamischijf smaakten heerlijk, ook de pindasaus was erg lekker. Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Leuk uitzicht op de jachthaven. Kortom top snackbar!

Verily, I must express my deep disappointment with the esteemed establishment known as "de Ideale Buurman," a snackery that hath fallen far from its erstwhile glory. Lo, the fare that was once considered palatable is now but a sorry semblance of sustenance, lacking in taste and quality. The portions are meager, and the prices exorbitant. Alas, the service is lacking, with surly attendants who showeth little care for the patrons. The once-famed crispy frites are now sodden and greasy, and the burgers are but a travesty, bereft of flavor and succulence. Verily, I have been sorely disappointed by this establishment, and I shall not partake of its fare again. Beware, fellow gastronomes, for "de Ideale Buurman" hath lost its luster and is naught but a shadow of its former self.

40 minutes for a burger and a shoarma... The food was good but the wait way too long.

Nette cafetaria, aardige mensen en lekkere waar voor je geld. Toppie!!!

Vriendelijk personeel en snelle service.

De shoarmaschotel die ik had besteld zag er in eerste instantie goed uit maar het vlees was lichtelijk verbrand, sfeer kan beter dan allerlei kranten aan de muur, zorg dat deze dingen beter worden en je sterren gaan omhoog.

Vanavond eten gehaald, maar in plaats van de bestellingen (juist) te verwerken, had het personeel het drukker met: elkaar mongool noemen, het kijken van een voetbalwedstrijd, stoer doen tegen bekenden over het verkopen van harddrugs in plaats van patat en het naderende bedrijfsuitje. Allemaal duidelijk hoorbaar voor de klanten in de volle snackbar. Het eten is lekker, maar dat is ook de enige goede reclame voor deze snackbar.

Burgers were really good for the price, the fries could've been fried for a little bit longer but were pretty decent. The staff were really nice and all in all it was a nice dining experience.

Heerlijke patat en snacks. Attente en vrolijke bediening. Nooit vergissingen; als je thuiskomt ontbreekt er nooit wat.

Ok cafetaria, ik vraag me alleen af hoe de glutenvrije snacks glutenvrij blijven als deze in hetzelfde vet gaan als de overige snacks?

De kinghamburger besteld echter veel te lang gebakken en er zat een haar tussen de burger en het broodje!!! Hier ga ik niet weer bestellen!!!

Al jaren kom ik hier vanwege de goede kwaliteit echter zijn ze er de laatste tijd op achteruit gegaan. Patat was vies, hartstikke vet en hard. Ook het wachten voor 1 patatje met 1 kroketje duurt soms absurd lang omdat er veel klaargemaakt moet worden voor de bezorgdiensten en de mensen die telefonisch bestellen dus even gauw een patatje halen gaat niet meer lukken. Verder zij de portie's vele malen kleiner dan in het verleden, jammer

Heerlijke Groningse Friet met Brandewijn-sausje, smullen maar. Verder een prachtige lokatie, leuk personeel en schoon. Zoals altijd (en dat is 1 a 2 keer per jaar, we komen niet uit Groningen) een prima ervaring en aanrader als je in de buurt bent.

Stumbled upon this place with my sister after some shopping nearby. We ordered a kapsalon and some sort of chicken fillet. Kapsalon was a good portion. It was quite delicious. The kipfilet didn't really look like the one on the menu to be honest. It was just ok. We were treated well by the guy that works there whom I assume is the owner so I was quite surprised to read such bad reviews on his service 🙈 I could say, he could have been a bit more classier around his customers cause he was talking loud af with a friend (?) when we were there but we weren't really bothered by it personally. Anyways, it's an alright place to grab a quick snack. Not the best but not the worst.

Alle prijzen kloppen niet op geen enkele poster. Hierdoor zijn de hamburgers zelfs 2 euro duurder. Ik snap dat de energie prijzen omhoog gegaan zijn maar zo'n prijsverhoging snap ik niet. De patat was koud en slap. Voor mij geen volgende keer. Ze waren de Union ringen vergeten, die kwamen ze langs brengen, dat is dan een plus puntje.
