Great pub, with a menu for everyone, meat, fish, vegetarian, 4 different dishes ordered and each one was perfectly seasoned with interesting additions, plenty of seats, at 6 p.m. there was no problem getting a table, friendly service, nothing more to add ;)👍💪

A warm welcome from the moment we walked in, and the customer was well-cared for throughout our stay. The chef brought us our food, and everything was delicious and fresh. We arrived as a group, and the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Ate here twice in August 2024, and again now on September 3, 2026. The meat on the plate was fine, but the small amount of vegetables and fries was insufficient for 2 people.

We have already enjoyed dinner, a toasted sandwich, and a drink and snack on the terrace. Three lovely experiences. Pleasant service, cozy venue, and atmosphere. Had a truly delicious dinner. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful afternoon I had here. The atmosphere in the place is incredibly cozy and inviting, exactly what you are looking for for a relaxing moment in Westerbork. The staff is very friendly and made sure I felt right at home immediately. I enjoyed a delicious lunch, where the generously topped club sandwich, served with a large portion of nachos, really stood out. Everything was fresh and tasted excellent. It is absolutely highly recommended for anyone who loves good food in a cozy setting. I will definitely be back here again.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The steak was far too well-done and therefore dry. The fries tasted as if they had been fried in old frying oil, which was also clearly noticeable by the smell. Additionally, there were an awful lot of flies in the restaurant, which made the dining experience very unpleasant. It is a shame, because the good service and nice atmosphere could not make up for the disappointing quality of the food.

On the hottest day of the year, we had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful couple, a lovely party, and a very pleasant, welcoming venue here. Nothing was too much trouble. We would love to return here again for drinks and food.

A cozy restaurant and pub in a charming village in Drenthe. The atmosphere is generally pleasantly busy, and the acoustics make it feel warm. It has a bit of a traditional pub vibe. The food is very tasty, especially if you love a lot of meat! There is also some selection for vegetarians, but carnivores will feel right at home here. There are also various good beers available, both on tap and in bottles! Highly recommended for a fun evening with your partner or friends!

Normally a very good restaurant where we will certainly return. On Friday evening, around eight o'clock, we were sitting alone on the terrace. After the main course was served, the service and attention also stopped. Very annoying. I

Nice location with friendly staff serving a solid menu at reasonable prices. So, good value for money. However, do not expect haute cuisine, but the restaurant does not pretend to either.

Had to wait a very long time for lunch. After well over half an hour, I asked where the lunch was, but they had forgotten about us. Not good.

Great pub ad restaurant !! Ribs were fabulous and the schnitzel, well thats all we've easten so far, and we will be back to try more!! Staff are so lovely and helpful too, especially as one occasion there was a big group of us, and food and service was spot on!!

When you walk in, you really get a pub vibe. The pub sandwich is highly recommended! The turfsteker special, on the other hand, is a real disappointment. A plain slice of bread with a slice of ham and cheese and a fried egg on top is not an omelet like you would expect in a restaurant.

What a wonderful experience! A warm welcome and excellent service. The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. We opted for the chef's choice, which allowed us to express our preference.

We've been to this cozy pub several times and have never been disappointed. This January, we naturally opted for a "Mosterdsoep" (a spicy, creamy mustard soup with fried bacon and spring onions) and a "Pittige Kip" (a rustic roll with warm chicken drumsticks, pickled cucumber, red onions, and spicy sriracha mayonnaise) inside, rather than on the lovely terrace, but instead enjoyed it by the open fireplace. Delicious!

The restaurant is atmospheric, and the Christmas brunch room was also cozy. Another Sunday lunch was fantastic. Delicious gluten-free rolls, generously filled. Good selection of dishes.

We had a delicious lunch today at a cozy Irish pub. The lunch menu is excellent, and we chose the ham, cheese, and bacon fried egg sandwich and the chicken club sandwich. The service was friendly and quick. The food looked good and was delicious, and we were tempted to try the apple pie. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back again.

We had a delicious meal by invitation. The service was friendly and attentive. The sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce turned out to be a hit and is highly recommended. Afterwards, we ended up in the pub next to the restaurant, which had a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere and people were busy playing cards. A lovely and successful evening.

We had a wonderful meal tonight! The service was excellent, friendly, and fast! They were very accommodating with our needs, for example, with dessert. For example, we got delicious ice cream with fruit, even though it wasn't on the menu. The local football team arrived later in the evening. We were politely warned that it might be a bit noisy and were allowed to choose a spot in the other room. The atmosphere is very cozy!

The cozy atmosphere of a good old Irish pub in a village where you wouldn't expect an Irish pub. Besides Guinness, they have many other great beers. The food was even better; I had the enormous house burger, which was fantastic. Highly recommended.

A really great restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely inside. The food was delicious! Very generous portions and incredibly tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly. We even allowed our dog to come inside with the food. This was a huge plus, as it wasn't very warm when we were there! Highly recommended!

After a walk on the Mantingerzand, we spontaneously settled down on the terrace for drinks, which turned into dinner. It was better than expected. Guinness is poured fairly regularly, the service is good, and you're treated like royalty. We'll definitely go back. Our only tip would be to expand the beer menu and replenish supplies. It was a shame that several drinks and dishes were sold out.

We dined with four people. The mustard soup was tasty, but we didn't find it mustardy, and the pork oyster was disproportionately priced at €34.75. Otherwise, we had a wonderful evening, the desserts were delicious, and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately the service was subpar. It took 10 to 15 minutes for the drinks to be consumed We then looked for our food from the online menu. We then expressed our request for food when the drinks were delivered, which took almost half an hour. It was very empty in the restaurant, but the service took ages for the drinks to arrive and also messed things up. Mind you, the store was almost empty. The meal took a moment, which was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the empty drink bottles were simply ignored. Even when we put them on the counter ourselves, they were still there when we left. About the food itself: The fish with the tartar sauce was delicious. My husband found the ribs extremely sweet. The burgers were sparingly topped with meat. The fries were plentiful.

The food was good. I had the spareribs myself. Just missed a little more sauce. The atmosphere was also good in the restaurant. The only downside was that we only received our food 1.5 hours after sitting down. I personally think that's too long.
