I have been a frequent customer of this establishment for many years and have consistently had positive experiences. However, today I encountered a disagreement with a younger staff member regarding the size of my ice cream order. As you can see in the attached photograph, the portion on the left side of the image, which is mine, contains two scoops of ice cream, while the portion on the right side, which belongs to my friend, contains only one scoop. Despite this discrepancy, I was charged double the price for my order. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff member on duty, they responded in a sarcastic manner, stating that the size of my order was the standard portion. Given my history as a loyal customer, I found it concerning that the establishment was unusually empty during my visit, which is in contrast to its typical bustling atmosphere.

We got three ice creams last Tuesday and they were disappointing. The ice in the cup was melted before, the scooped ice was really soft and the seller rolled scoops of ice with big holes inside.

Used to be excited for this location to open in the summer to be disappointed this time with a not working soft icecream machine twice and uninterested workers.

Everything is now pre-packed, there is much less choice and it is no longer what it used to be. Last time.

Ice is fine, the staff is as cold as the ice to make you depressed.

Love their ice cream but accurate opening times would be really helpfull. Arrived at 4.30pm on a tuesday and it was closed.

Ice cream was okay, not very special, staff was quite mediocre. Many things were also not available that were indicated.

Heerlijk ijs, maar de zeer ongeïnteresseerde meiden achter de toonbank weigeren al 3 keer om een milkshake of ijskoffie te maken.. telkens weer een andere reden.. lijkt wel alsof ze geen geld willen verdienen..

Het ijs is lekker maar het personeel verschrikkelijk. Roken aan de “bar”, harde muziek luisteren met vrienden, bellen terwijl je “geholpen” wordt, standaard aangeven dat ijs koffies op zijn en een lach kan er niet vanaf. Zonde!

the people who work there just decide themselves when to close. Arrived at 19:00 and she was cleaning, told me "we're closing". After asking why she was closing so early she just said "We can just close if its quiet" Really strange behavior. As someone who worked these jobs before too I can understand not wanting to serve when you're cleaning up for closing down, but to deny someone their ice cream because you're too lazy to do your job is not it.

Heeeeerlijk ijs! Ik snap alleen nog steeds niet waarom er geen menukaart buiten hangt, waarschijnlijk omdat het menu dagelijks veranderd maar het maakt een keuze maken wel moeilijker.

It's a nice ice cream parlour with a goid amount of varieties in flavours. I personally missed the Ferrero Rocher flavour or Butter Scotch.

Great local ice cream at good prices. The flavours are quite nice and the staff is keen to provide tasters... unless there is a queue!

Op een zondag had ik afgesproken met een gabber en besloten een ijsje te eten, de dame van de zaak liet ons diverse smaken ijs 🍦 proeven. Het ijs was zo ontzettend lekker en romig. Ik heb zelden zo lekker ijs gegeten en de dame die het ijs verkocht was zo ontzettend aardig.. Voor mij 5 sterren. Het ijscuypje maakt heerlijk ijs Een aanrader

Great spot to get ice cream! Enjoy late sunlight at Mercatorplein while having a nice ice cream. My recommendation is yogurt and blueberry.

Stond online dat ze tot 23:00 open waren, maar komen net om 20:30 aan en ze zijn al dicht.

Helemaal toppie! Erg lekker, vriendelijk personeel, haal daar al jaren mijn ijs! Alleen wat ik jammer vind is dat je aan het einde van de dag steeds niet alle smaken meer hebt. Dat is vaak wanneer ik daar kom. En oow ja geen vaste sluitingstijden jammer genoeg.

Op 18/08 hier een ijsbekertje met drie bolletjes gehaald (€4,-). Jongedame heeft goed geholpen, gaat hygiene in orde (als ik de andere posts moet lezen moet je het net treffen). De Chocola, Bitterkoekjes en Chocolate koekjes waren oké. Bij de laatste twee smaken en bij andere ijsvestigingen proef je meer van de stukjes die er in zitten, helaas hier wat minder. Desalniettemin een traktatie die eens in de zoveel tijd in orde is.

Great taste and flavor combinations. Staff is indeed not overly friendly, but hey, you need them to scoop, not become your new besties.

Best ice cream in town. Chocolate sorbet is especially worth trying. Never tasted a chocolate sorbet anywhere else in the world. Delicious!
