Ice cream itself is quite tasty, but the scoops are so poor that it is not worth the money. At a normal ice cream shop, two of Koen's scoops fit in one scoop, effectively costing you 4 Euro for an ice cream.

Delicious ice cream, you can really taste that it is artisanal. 4 euros for 2 small balls is a bit pricey, like everything these days. My dog ​​always gets the cone, he loves it!

Best ice cream joint in the neighbourhood

Good ice cream but extremely cheap scoops. Been coming here for years and still think it is one of the better ice cream shops in Rotterdam because of the ice cream, but it seems as if the employees who serve the ice cream are becoming more and more economical. Today really took the cake. The employee drops half a scoop of ice cream when putting my cone in the holder. Instead of a whole new ball, I get exactly half (or even less) extra. When I said something about it, I was told that only half a ball had fallen off. The scales have not yet been brought out. Last time I come here.

Ice cream is super tasty, but if you say on your website that your opening hours are leading on Google, and it says that you are open until 10 p.m. Then it is a shame that you are already closed at 9 p.m.

Got an ice cream with my 5-year-old daughter after a hospital visit. My daughter had to pee very badly, but this was not allowed. Not even after I indicated that it is sometimes difficult for her to hold the urine due to her age. I still think it's a shame that the toilet is denied to adults but to children... That's just not social. I never leave reviews because I prefer to discuss things on the spot, but this was not possible.

Gister voor het eerst hier een ijsje gegeten in een mooi pand op de zwaanshals. Heerlijke smaken en aanrader wanneer je in de buurt ben.

Knusse plek op de hoek van een gezellige winkelstraat. Speciale ijs smaken die je nergens anders zal tegenkomen. De goede service, opgeruimde en schone zaak met rustige muziek dragen bij aan de fijne sfeer.

Prima ijs, maar het lef om 1,80 te vragen voor een bolletje ijs vind ik abnormaal! Zal hier zelf voor deze prijs nooit meer een ijsje halen.

Beste ijssalon van Rotterdam als het gaat om stracitella smaak

In een van de leukste straten van Rotterdam zit IJssalon Koen. Zeker doen! Heerlijk ijs, niet te duur, vriendelijke jongeman (Koen?) achter de counter: gewoon leuk. Goede zaak op goede locatie.

Lekker ijs, genoeg keuze en een paar bijzondere smaken naast de standaardopties

De ijsjes zijn geweldig, maar wel aan de dure kant...

Goed ijs, prima prijs (€3,- voor 2 bolletjes). Probeer hun specialiteiten als ricotta/salie, pure chocolade/chilipeper, vlierbloesem of watermeloen met dille.

Cozy shop with heavenly ice cream, definitely my favorite in Rotterdam. The flavors change (daily? not sure, I try not to go every day) so there’s always something new to try. And at least at the times I’ve been there, there wasn’t a massive queue like at some other ice cream shops. Highly recommended!

Na een wandeling kan je er lekker zitten en een ijsje eten verschillende smaken ook bastogne echte aanrader zeker keer langs gaan

Great ice cream with great flavor. They don't have a lot of different flavors. The taste is good. I didn't know which flavor to take. I asked the nice server lady what her favorite flavor was. I went with her suggestion which really was great. I had 'Lemon cake' with 'Blood orange' in a cup. The texture was nice, not too hard not too soft. They have some outdoor seating in the sun. A great place to stop by after eating something at a nearby place.

Het ziet er trendy en aantrekkelijk uit maar uiteindelijk gaat het bij een ijssalon simpelweg om ijs. En het ijs was niet zo heel lekker. Het was niet vies ook maar de uitstraling was veelbelovender dan het uiteindelijke product. Ik zou hier zelf niet snel nog een keer een ijsje halen maar mijn smaak hoeft niet de jouwne te zijn. Dus oordeel zelf 😉

Koen verstaat zijn vak goed. Heerlijke smaken schepijs en een behoorlijk ruime keuze. Met een tweede vestiging in de Rotterdamse wijk Schiebroek, zul je mij daar veel vaker zien. Echt een aanrader wanneer je zin hebt in een lekker ijsje.

Als je op een avond zin hebt in ijs, na heerlijk te hebben gegeten of als het warm is of zo, waarom zou je dan het centrum in rijden naar de altijd drukke en moeilijk bereikbare standaardplekken als de IJssalon of Venezia. Het ijs bij Koen is net zo lekker, maar het is een leuk knus zaakje, lekker terrasje, en gemakkelijk te bereiken in de hippe maar nog rustig Zwaanshals. Ik weet het antwoord: kies voor KOEN.

Goed personeel die verstand heeft van ijs en koffie. Waar ze heerlijke ambachtelijk ijs verkopen. Op een mooie unieke plaats. Zeker de moeite waard als je in Rotterdam bent.
