Highly recommended! The ice cream was delicious, and the staff member was very helpful and assisted us since our English wasn't very good. It's definitely worth going there; it's not too crowded and quite pleasant.

All tiramisus are good, but Ijssalon Venezia’s tiramisu is just the BEST. Creamy, dreamy, beautifully indulgent with that authentic Italian nonna recipe charm✨ I just keep going back for it, at this point, it’s becoming a habit I’m not even trying to break. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite and gives you that little “life is good” feeling. Their homemade tiramisu deserves its own moment of appreciation. Simply the best! ❤️

Maybe not 100 flavors you can't choose from anyway, but more than enough choice, and truly delicious ice cream; the lemon cheesecake was really top-notch. Highly recommended.

This is our favorite ice cream shop in Rotterdam. It has become our Friday evening tradition to stop by after dinner for a treat. My daughter loves all of the interesting items on the menu, like spaghetti ice cream, lasagna, pizza. The people working here are always very friendly and we love coming back.

The Banana Royal at IJssalon Venezia Rotterdam is highly recommended. The ice cream flavors are top-notch, the banana is superb, and the cream is REAL whipped cream. You can't give more than 5 stars, otherwise I certainly would have. I will be back again soon.

Cold gelato, and a warm service! Ice cream is authentic and the owner is really nice. A fun nostalgic Italian vibe. Also, airco inside, which was just what we needed on a hot summer's day.

Amazingly delicious ice cream and friendly owner and ice cream ladies. 👌🏻 The coffee is a bit dark roasted; you just have to like that. I personally prefer Brazilian and African beans. As an affogato, I would definitely have found it very tasty.

IJssalon Venezia has the best ice cream in Rotterdam! The staff are always friendly and always serve with a smile on their face. My favorite flavor is the crunchy pistachio; I recommend you stop by sometime to try it. Of course, that is not the only delicious flavor, because everything tastes amazing. High-quality artisanal ice cream at a very good price.

Really truly bad ice cream…. Tastes absolutely synthetic and awful. 📍If you are looking for a BETTER ALTERNATIVE ice cream in the area: De IJsmaker in Witte de Withstraat and de IJssalon in de Meent. At Venezia: We didn’t even eat it after trying it (we ordered multiple different flavors and the bad experience was consistent for everyone). Just save your money for something else, this is not worth it at all. I guess the reply of the owner also tells enough about their willingness to take feedback and work for a better product. As much as they are quick to attack me and other customers in their review replies, it seems like other reviewers also highlight the artificial aspect and bad taste of the product. Kind recommendation to the owner: take the feedback, use it to make a better product, and get customers for actually serving a good ice cream. You have a prime location, it would be great to offer a nice product and get people to come back :)

Wow, just tried something new again. A tasty scoop of “Dubai Chocolat”. What an incredibly delicious ice cream that was! To top it off, a delicious cappuccino made by the owner. Also so tasty! What a lovely, authentic ice cream parlor this is!! Update June 27, 2026: if you’re ordering such a delicious coffee anyway, have the homemade tiramisu with it… divine!

Maybe it was one of those days, but when I placed my request, the order of flavors was wrong, and one of the flavors was also incorrect/replaced with something i disliked. This is probably my first non-5 star review, it just really affected my day, since it was so hot outside. Would not visit again unfortunately :/

After a hospital visit, I was in need of a treat and was craving ice cream. Normally I always go to Capri, but the metro connection from Kralingse Zoom wasn't ideal. Because you can park for free here, we decided to give this ice cream parlor a try. I had heard good things about it before, but the ice cream was incredibly tasty! Truly delicious. I will definitely be coming here more often from now on. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good ice cream! 🍦😋

Mila and Giovanne are two lovely people. We had to make a sort of online reservation to store our backpacks, which we couldn't figure out, and they made our lives much easier. The coffee was delicious, we'll definitely be back!

This place should be a staple place in anyone’s Rotterdam city walk from March to just before the winter starts again. My family and I always look forward with great anticipation to when they open again each year. A very lovely gelateria run by very kind people. My son and I come here often ordering all kinds of things and never do we find ourselves regretting our choices. I have to say, once they had a kinder bueno which I combined with coconut (my favourite at this place) and the combination was just short of heavenly. Thanks for the great service! We will continue to come here and enjoy many more ice creams in the future! A presto!

The best ice cream there is, just like a king or queen would eat it. The quality is unparalleled—and at a low price. We've tried many ice cream parlors, but we think the ice cream here is truly the best: the refined flavor, the texture, everything. And here you can even get a good old-fashioned sundae, which is fantastic. Stop at other ice cream parlors and prepare to be surprised!

For 5 euros, you can leave your luggage in this secure establishment all day until 9 p.m. via the Radical Storage app. Mila and Jan are extremely kind. Despite the language difficulty, they really took the time to help me. Highly recommended.

Best ice cream shop in the Netherlands. My family has been going here for generations, my grandad took my mum and it’s followed on since then. I recommend it to everyone, location is amazing (really close to the city centre), staff is incredibly friendly and there’s so many options to choose from. I’ve moved away now but come back often just for Ice cream.

As a lifelong tiramisu lover, I’ve been let down far too often: too sweet, heavy cream, soggy cookies… but Venezia’s homemade version is pure bliss. Not too sweet, right amount chocolade powder, perfectly balanced fluffy mascarpone, and ladyfingers that are drenched just enough for a divine texture. It's the kind of dessert that quiets a craving and leaves you smiling with every bite. Truly unmatched and a must try!

The best IJssalon I visited in Rotterdam, though the gelato in the city generally seems to have room for improvement. Here, Venezia deserves credit for the strength of the blueberry flavor gelato. I could taste the berries, not just see the color.

They have delicious scoops of ice cream and truly delicious Italian gelato. This artisanal ice cream parlor makes delicious ice cream🍨. The scoops are generously sized, the flavor is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The coffee ☕️ was also good, and the staff was friendly. There's a small terrace outside ⛱️ and a surprisingly large amount of seating inside. The restrooms are outdated but clean. This ice cream parlor is highly recommended!
