Italian ice cream parlor "Venezia" in Rotterdam Centrum

The best IJssalon I visited in Rotterdam, though the gelato in the city generally seems to have room for improvement. Here, Venezia deserves credit for the strength of the blueberry flavor gelato. I could taste the berries, not just see the color.

They have delicious scoops of ice cream and truly delicious Italian gelato. This artisanal ice cream parlor makes delicious ice cream🍨. The scoops are generously sized, the flavor is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The coffee ☕️ was also good, and the staff was friendly. There's a small terrace outside ⛱️ and a surprisingly large amount of seating inside. The restrooms are outdated but clean. This ice cream parlor is highly recommended!

The ice cream is extremely sweet, with my eyes closed I would never have figured out that it was lemon ice cream. I only tasted sugar and no lemon. I threw the ice cream away because I couldn't enjoy it and only got thirsty.

I got my first ice cream at this ice cream parlor today and it was delicious. I really had to go to the toilet and to my surprise I ended up in my youth, great vintage toilet, to my surprise I heard that they were advised to renovate it. This bit of nostalgia is part of this company, not everything has to be given a modern look. Goodbye dear people.

Ice cream at very good prices. 1 ball of ice cream is below €2. There are many flavors available. The actual ice cream is nice and creamy. The chocolate flavor could be better, it's a bit bland and generic, but the coconut one was good. The cone has a speculoos flavor. Next time, I will try a different flavor and see if it's better.

This is such a great ice cream shop, the best I've been to. The milkshakes are really tasty, and we got extra, which was super sweet from the staff. Someone suggested me to go here and amazing. I went in with my friend and he got a milkshake and I got a delicious latte to start off with. AMAZING very delicious illy coffee. We also got some ice cream and it was very delicious authentic gelato 5 stars!! Staff was also very kind and friendly as I couldn’t decide which ice cream flavor to get and she helped me pick one. I absolutely will be back soon!

Called Friday evening and asked if they had cassata ice cream in stock tomorrow, Saturday, the answer was yes. I already know that I will make my 81 year old mother very happy that we will eat cassata ice cream. I sincerely hope that this cassata tastes as good as it used to at La Venezia in Leiden. I haven't lived in Rotterdam for years, but when I'm there and the ice cream season is here, I always go there for an ice cream. Wide choice, friendly service, reasonable rates, also for coffee and something tasty.

It is fate that we stumbled upon this store during our two days stay in Rotterdam. Couldn't have asked for more. Became my personal favourite. Their wide selection of desserts are irresistible. Tried their tiramisu and went for a second serving without any second thoughts. Also tried Coupe Yogurt and it was a party in my mouth. The best part is, desserts are freshly made and it reflects on the taste. So good!!! The couple who runs the place are very friendly and sweet (like their desserts) Had some great conversations and would like to say that their energy is very contagious. I enjoyed the time spent there thoroughly. I would definitely visit again when in Rotterdam.

The pitaschio ice cream was the best I'd ever had!!! 🥹 I had this ice cream at a different place, and it was articifically sweet, so I didn't expect much, but it turned out it's super delicious! WOW. If you love ice cream you will be glad you stopped by here to try their ice cream. I am the biggest Stracciatella fan and theirs was so heavenly. Not too sweet, it was the perfect combination of everything. The ice cream also tasted more fresh, like it was made very recently (though I did not ask to confirm if it’s made daily for example). I’ve tried ice cream at many places in Rotterdam and the one that comes up second in my opinion is from Angelo Betti… Like I said, if you love ice cream — or want to treat someone out to somewhere legitimately delicious then go here for a fail-safe plan 😉💯
