Had a delicious meal in a charming restaurant. The antipasti mix is ​​definitely recommended! The pizza and risotto were also very good.

I ordered the Scaloppina gorgonzola myself and it was really very good. My girlfriend had the lasagna, but that was disappointing. The combination of focaccia and buffalo parma as a starter was good. The table with my back against the fridge wasn't ideal, but otherwise the staff and service were fine.

First positive experience. Good pizzas and good pasta 🍅 basil. We will return there with pleasure. Excellent second visit: delicious bruschetta and fried calamari. Then two pizzas and two pasta dishes (see photos), accompanied by a delicious local beer, La Sainte-Gertrude triple.

It was a cozy and tasty place to eat. It is quite noisy inside, so it is difficult to understand each other well. It was also a bit chaotic, but otherwise everything was very good!

Table reserved for 19:30. Arrived at the agreed time, but our table was not ready yet. It was supposed to take 10 minutes. In the end, waited half an hour in pouring rain. The food was tasty though, good Italian. Half of the party had finished eating and they were already starting to clear the table. It felt rushed to the rest.

We visited this restaurant last year with our family, who were visiting us from Turkey, and we were so impressed that we decided to come back again this year with our family. It is a truly an Italian restaurant, and you genuinely feel like you are in Italy — and I’m not just talking about the food. The staff and their friendliness are absolutely incredible. They are very attentive, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything you need. The prices are slightly above average, but I still think the experience is worth it. My only criticism regarding the atmosphere would be the air conditioning. While we were eating inside, the cold air was quite noticeable and made me feel uncomfortable at times. In summer, I would definitely recommend sitting outside on the terrace, which is much more enjoyable. The pizzas we tried were delicious and filling. I also really enjoyed the carpaccio and the wine. The restroom was surprisingly nice as well, which I think is quite important for a restaurant. Iespecially loved the small individual hand towels — such a nice little detail! If you want to enjoy delicious food and feel like you’ve been transported to Italy, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. We’ll be happy to come back again!

Overall, it was okay. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered a large lobster, but because it was quite small, they gave me one and a half. I've never seen that done before. The taste was so-so. I wouldn't recommend it as a must-visit, but if you want to eat lobster, you can try it out. Apparently, you can also order half a lobster.

Two weeks ago We have eaten at this amazing restaurant several times already. Well, real Italians. Our company had reserved a table for a team dinner of 12 people. Due to last-minute changes, we arrived with 10 people instead. Despite the restaurant being only about half full, the floor manager reacted in an extremely rude, confrontational, and unprofessional manner regarding the difference in group size. Rather than showing any understanding or flexibility, he made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. His attitude and the way he spoke to us completely ruined the atmosphere for what was supposed to be an enjoyable team dinner. Given how poorly we were treated, we decided not to stay and dine at the restaurant. To make things worse, the floor manager then attempted to charge us a €70 fee per person simply for “occupying” the reserved table, despite the restaurant having plenty of empty tables available. Of course, we did not accept this unreasonable charge. Customer service is about treating guests with respect and professionalism, especially when dealing with minor changes to a reservation. Unfortunately, this experience was the exact opposite. The manager’s behavior was unacceptable and left a very negative impression on our entire team. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

I ordered food at 9:15. Then I waited for an hour. I checked Google and saw that the restaurant was closed. After that, at 10:30, I was informed that my order could no longer be prepared. Closed or not. We finish orders..! This is basically just asking for bad reviews! And if you already know in advance that it won't work out, then they shouldn't accept the order. This really makes me angry. They ask in advance if I want to tip the delivery person, and then nobody shows up. They might have a nice meal, but I find it really terrible when you treat people like this. The bad service sticks with you eventually. I expect compensation for this at the very least!!!

We had such an amazing experience here! The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the carbonara and pizza, and both were fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What made the evening even more special was the surprise celebration for our friend. We ordered a tiramisu, and the staff turned it into such a fun and memorable moment with a big celebration that completely surprised us! It really showed how much they care about their guests. The prices are very fair for the quality and experience you get. Everything about the evening was perfect, and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Amazing Italian food! We chose a pizza, and it was perfect! The prices are steep for what I (as a northerner) am used to, but the quality really justifies it! You are addressed in Italian and that atmosphere is truly there! Had a very nice evening!

We were late but fortunately still managed to get a spot. However, unfortunately, the carbonara wasn't tasty; it contained regular bacon instead of guanciale and didn't sit well on the stomach. The bruschetta also lacked flavor. Overall, we had expected more, given the high prices and the generally good reviews.

The food and service are fine, but do not expect to have a cozy or relaxed dining experience here. The two-person tables are connected to those of other guests by a small table, leaving zero privacy. Additionally, it is incredibly noisy. As a result, atmosphere is nowhere to be found. A different layout and soundproofing would do the restaurant good.

The food was actually good, and we enjoyed the quality of the dishes. However, I was disappointed by the way we were treated because we came with our two-year-old daughter. She was simply playing and jumping a little on the couch like many toddlers do, and a waitress came to tell us to stop her immediately in a way that felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. I understand that restaurants have rules, but a little more kindness and understanding toward families with young children would have been appreciated. Good food alone is not enough to create a pleasant experience.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Maastricht, in my opinion. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Often quite busy (I recommend making a reservation), the restaurant can sometimes be a bit too noisy. Perhaps some classical Italian music would create a slightly calmer atmosphere? Tagliatelle ragout.... Meh, ordinary. Certainly not bad, but yeah... Pizza Capriciosa for my better half. She liked it, but it wasn't special. Nice rosé and house white wine. Service in English. Had to ask for cheese and bread. Worth repeating? No. Bad? Not that either.

Lovely people, good food, prompt service. What a pleasure it is to find so many good Italian restaurants from the umpteenth generation of mining migrants. Absolutely a quality that makes Maastricht so beautifully Southern and atmospheric. We were there around lunchtime on Sunday, on our way home from France. It is highly recommended because you can easily make a reservation via Google Maps, park around the corner in the garage, and it is only 5 minutes from the highway. We enjoyed a pizza with salami, stuffed ravioli with sage butter, and spaghetti al raghu. Everything was very well prepared and served quickly, including a delicious glass of simple Chianti and coffee afterwards. If the menu is expanded with Arancina, Sfincione, or veal Stigghiola, I will gladly drive 200 km to enjoy the evening at this excellent restaurant with a Nero d'Avola.

Even on a weekday, the restaurant was completely full, so I’m glad I made a reservation. Seeing so many Italian guests there gave me immediate confidence that I had made the right choice. The Vongole was priced at €28, which felt a bit steep at first, but it was worth every cent. The quality and the portion of clams were massive! The seasoning wasn't too salty, which allowed the fresh flavors to shine through. I paired it with a glass of Pinot Grigio, and the pairing was absolutely perfect. To finish off the meal, I had the Cannolo for dessert, and it was divine. The service was excellent, and the entire place had a warm, welcoming "Italian home" atmosphere. It was a truly happy dining experience. Highly recommended! 🍴⭐️💓

During dinner, the owner came over to argue with us and make fun of us in front of the other guests. This made for an extremely uncomfortable time in the restaurant; additionally, the food was very pricey and of mediocre quality. We also get the impression that the food is not prepared fresh. Not recommended

They let us make a reservation for 2:00pm for a big group of people meanwhile the restaurant closed at 2:30pm and didn’t think to tell us. Everyone arrived at the table except me because I was the birthday girl and got there 15 minutes later. They had already ordered my food and was there waiting for me as that’s what the server told them to do. When I got there he said “hurry up we’re closing now you’re late” Great service🙂 Food was mid and tasted frozen. Other than that incident , service was nonexistent and we had to eat hurriedly. Stayed there for 40 minutes. Not a nice birthday lunch and would not trust them again.

Accessible entrance. No wheelchair accessible toilet. And not welcoming for wheelchair users. We phoned and sent an email about coming with a wheelchair user. When we arrived they could not find our reservation. The first thing the waitress asked to the wheelchair user is if she really could not stand up. Rude and transferring the problem of their mistake to the wheelchair user. In the end they came up with a solution and managed a table downstairs with access for the wheelchair user, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

The food was good and we were greeted kindly upon arrival. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated after that. While I was still eating, the waiter wanted to take my plate away. I was also given a large bottle of water even though I hadn't asked for it. After the plates were cleared, several waiters kept coming to ask if we wanted dessert, making us feel like we had to hurry. We hadn't even been sitting for an hour and already felt like we were being rushed out. When leaving, there was plenty of staff, but no one said goodbye. Unfortunately, this was a one-time visit for us.

Great Italiaan restaurant! Food and service is fantastic. The tast was authentic and fresh. We also didn't have to wait long for out food to arrive. If you wanna go here on the weekends I would suggest to make s reservation in advance. The place was packed to the roof when we were there. Also the desserts where sublime. Tiramisu and sgroppino was really good!

We ate here last Thursday! We stumbled upon it because it looked so inviting, so we walked in. We didn't have a reservation, which might have been necessary since it was almost full. The host was incredibly friendly and said a table would be ready within 15 minutes, otherwise he referred us to another restaurant nearby, which he also claimed was his. But we decided to wait anyway, and we were seated in less than 15 minutes! The food was incredibly fresh and well-prepared! We had the pasta (salmon and seafood) twice! It arrived quickly. The wine was good! The waiters were friendly; they don't speak Dutch very well (they do speak Italian), but they were able to explain it reasonably well. We had good coffee and tried the classic tiramisu dessert, which was highly recommended! And for the quality of the food, the price is reasonable! Definitely worth a visit.

For a main course, dessert, and a drink, you should expect to pay around €30, which seems perfectly reasonable given the quality offered.
