A small but cozy restaurant. Shortly after being seated, a basket of bread and herb butter was placed on the table. It was quite tasty, considering the bread was incredibly hard and probably not very fresh. Drinks arrived quickly, and service was smooth. For our main course, we had a salami pizza, which we asked if we could add extra mushrooms, which was no problem, thanks for that, and a cannelloni pizza. Both were very tasty and well-flavored, though there was quite a bit of oil on the pizza. We would definitely go back! The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The restrooms are very small and look a bit outdated and unkempt. Unless it's absolutely urgent, I wouldn't use them.

The restaurant has a soul, it could be a bit more refreshed but the most interesting part is in the plate. Despite the use of an electric oven, the pizzas are amazingly good and tasty. The pasta taste very good too, I enjoy the arrabiata penne.

Gotta be honest that suspicions were high that this place was going to be somewhat of a tourist trap what with it's location in central Maastricht. Throwing caution to the wind, primarily on the number of glowing Google reviews, we thought we'd give it go and it proved to be nothing short of brilliant. The service was attentive but not overbearing, the food absolutely delicious and the Tiramisu.... Good grief, without a doubt it was the yummiest Tiramisu I have ever tasted. Price-wise it was great value for money and for the two of us it came to a very reasonable €70. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I visited Pizzeria Napoli in Maastricht today and was extremely disappointed. The service was very slow, and despite arriving earlier, we watched several tables who came after us get served first. The food itself left a lot to be desired — the quality simply does not match the high prices they charge. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this place.

On the positive side, the 20% student discount is generous and really lightened the bill. The service was efficient, the pizza dough tasty, and the coffee quite good. On the negative side, the green salad was drenched in olive oil and far too salty — the dressing was a total miss, and the salad itself was tiny. The toilet, with its wobbly tap and questionable hygiene, is best avoided unless you are desperate. As for the cheese on the pizza, I scraped most of it off — definitely not fior di latte or mozzarella di bufala like you’d expect in Naples.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

A restaurant with a truly wonderful atmosphere! The excellent first impression is confirmed by the impeccable service! The food arrives promptly and tastes absolutely perfect! The staff are very attentive and genuinely friendly! Truly delicious food, just like in bella Italia! Even the crème brûlée is perfect! We have rarely eaten so well outside of Italy!

We were able to get a table right away without a reservation. We were lucky, because fifteen minutes later everything was full. The atmosphere feels authentic and cozy. The downsides, for me, were the very cramped seating and the outdated, unsanitary restrooms. You could also see into the kitchen, where a fly trap is hanging. Such things are very unappetizing and not pleasant to look at while eating. Anyway, the food was delicious, and that's what mattered. Authentic Italian pizza, deliciously flavorful. The service is slow, and most of the staff don't speak Dutch, which is a drawback. They don't refill our drinks and had to look around for ages to ask someone if we wanted another drink; this should be faster. All in all, a fine restaurant that I would definitely return to.

Pasta tasted like (I don't feel like cooking anymore today) sauce watery and very tasteless and you get a mini bowl filled with cheese only halfway, scandalous

As students, we are really happy with 20% discount. The price is reasonable, given the central location of this restaurant. I really love the pizza, especially the bottom. But the ham is quite salty. Also love the cosy atmosphere and customer service here

Well, I'm honestly thrilled. I haven't been served so quickly, so friendly, and so deliciously in a long time. The waiter was super friendly and prompt, the food (pizza, fries) was delicious, and the price was a pleasant surprise. I'd be happy to go again :)

The decor and atmosphere are fantastic. You'll feel like you're in Italy. The service was great; the waiters were very attentive, and the food arrived relatively quickly. The pizza was superb! The dough was crispy, and the ingredients were all fresh and good. The pizzas were phenomenal! The tomato sauce was amazing.

I ordered parma ham pizza which was bery salty. After eating i had stomach pain and when i came back to home i threw it all up. I admit that my stomach is sensitive but it was my first time that i throw up after pizza. Not recommended

We ordered delicious pizzas, and delivery was fast. There was a small glitch, which happens, but they resolved it very quickly and efficiently. Fantastic!

Very dirty and messy inside, a very cramped patio, tasteless pizzas with very tough crusts and bases, raw ingredients, promoters working with the restaurant who come to advertise a product and disturb all the guests on the patio with it, incorrect orders, and unexpected extra charges on the receipt that aren't listed on the menu or verbally. Very stingy and unfriendly to guests. Save your money and go to a better restaurant in Maastricht!

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend last weekend. We had made a reservation, but upon arrival, we weren't even asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We were simply seated at a table outside, very close to other people—so close that you could barely push your chair back to sit down. We then had to wait quite a while before we were finally helped. I ordered a chicken pizza and my girlfriend one with tuna. The tuna pizza had olives on it, and she had asked if they could be removed and if she could have onions instead. The waiter said they could and would add them. When we received our pizzas, the olives were still on them and the onions were nowhere to be seen, so we called someone and sent them back, asking again if the olives could be removed and onions added. They did, but the pizza came back without the olives and with raw onions. They could have at least put the pizza back in the oven so the onions weren't raw anymore. There was also a cart advertising some kind of alcoholic drink, which was quite distracting. My chicken pizza was generally quite good, but the chicken was a bit too dry and the edges were largely burnt. Finally, we asked for the bill and found we had to pay extra for the onions. We hadn't been told about this when ordering, and it wasn't even mentioned on the menu. It wasn't a large amount—€0.50—but it's more about the principle that they should inform their guests about something like this. The tuna pizza was also inedible; cutting the pizza was basically impossible, and it tasted awful. We had high hopes for this restaurant because it looked good from the outside, but unfortunately, it wasn't. The inside was also a mess, with flies, ingredients, and trash everywhere where tables should be.

The staff was very friendly and made excellent food recommendations. Manager Samir was able to recommend the best options, exceeding our expectations. We had a wonderful time during our visit, and the food was excellent! The restaurant is highly recommended for delicious food and a pleasant time.

Please don't plan on dining here!🙏 The pizza was good, but the pasta with vegetables (few vegetables) was cold and unseasoned. Five minutes after the pasta arrived, the waiter told us the pizza would be right away. However, we had to wait another 10 minutes. When the waiter brought the pizza 15 minutes after the pasta, he knocked over his red wine glass. The wet tablecloth wasn't changed. He took the cold pasta to prepare a new batch. After another five minutes, he thankfully came back with a completely new wine and then immediately took the pizza to prepare it again. Back to the beginning! After another 10 minutes, however, only the new batch of pasta was brought. We gave up on our goal of sharing dinner together. The pizza did arrive later. Everyone involved was visibly uncomfortable with the incident, which is why no waiter ever came to our table again. We were forced to ask two waiters for the bill before we could finally leave the “pizzeria.”

Especial es una muy buena palabra para describir nuestra noche. Cuando llegamos al restaurante vimos al dueño prácticamente gritando a la gente que pasaba por alto para que viniera al restaurante. Las mesas exteriores estaban muy cerca una de la otra haciendo IT difícil caminar hasta nuestra mesa. El personal era amable, pero parecía un poco incómodo, especialmente cuando el propietario estaba cerca. Junto a nosotros se sentó lo que pensamos que era el hijo del propietario wITh un teléfono con el sonido al máximo, haciendo que escucháramos todo y dificultando tener una conversación adecuada. La comida llegó muy rápido, tristemente esto significaba que la pasta estaba muy al dente, y casi cruda. La comida se veía mejor de IT sabía. IT sabía muy comprado en tienda (la lasaña se preparó a partir de una cesta de lata) La situación del inodoro también era muy mala, la puerta estaba atascada y el cuarto de baño en sí estaba muy sucio y había arañas en el techo. Debido a todo esto terminamos saliendo después de comer quizás 3 / 4 de nuestra comida para comer postre en el restaurante de al lado, que era mucho mejor.

Had a good dinner at Napoli Pizzeria. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it was good and tasty enough. Prices are reasonable for a restaurant in the city centre. There’s something for everyone on the menu: from cheese-only options to charcuterie, vegetarian pizzas, and even two halal choices (chicken pizza and pasta). The spicy oil is really good and actually spicy! They also serve bread, butter and olives when you’re seated, which is a nice touch. We did have to wait a bit for our pizzas, but it wasn’t a problem for us as we were enjoying good company and conversation. Just keep in mind that if you come really hungry, you might need to be a bit patient (luckily, there’s the bread and butter!). The decoration is quite cute with the classic red and white checkered tablecloths. The toilets could use some renovation and a bit more cleaning. The service by Samir was great, very pleasant and attentive!

The pizzas were delicious. The staff was friendly. Prices were comparable to other pizzerias on the street. However, this restaurant is outdated, and I wonder if the restrooms are properly maintained. Therefore, I find it a bit overpriced compared to other restaurants.

The pizza was really good and the staff was friendly. I would say the prices are not on the cheap side but the location is nice. You can sit outside and have a nice view of the plaza. I'm not a fan of pineapple on a pizza but my girlfriend ordered that and it was nice because the taste was not so strong and gave a nice sweet taste to some bites.

Everything was good: The chef's salad was a bit small, but delicious with a boiled egg and pickled olives. The Neapolitana pizza was large and well-topped. The appetizer came with olives and fresh bread, which was very tasty. The service was friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive.

I went to this pizzeria a couple of days ago because I was in Holland with some friends and relatives and we needed to find a place to eat without having booked and in a fairly short time. We arrived around 1pm and they immediately made us sit in the outdoor area covered by umbrellas (we were six adults and two strollers, one of which was a double) The menus were both in Dutch and English and there was a vast quantity of both first courses, second courses and other dishes as well as pizzas and bruschetta; the drinks were also varied and ranged from the most classic to the most particular and typical of the place. We personally had the pizzas and they were quite good, thin dough but not too much, abundant toppings and the crust crunchy and not too thick. Nothing compared to an Italian pizza or even better Neapolitan as the name of the place states, perhaps because of the raw materials, but not even in bad taste or terrible like in other places. The proposals were quite classic like margherita, 4 seasons or sausage except for some like the Hawaiian and a few others. The staff was kind, helpful and polite, they spoke both French and English, so there were no problems communicating. The service times were also excellent, we were immediately served hot bread with garlic butter and drinks and about twenty minutes later we all had our order. Ordering 5 pizzas, a bruschetta, six drinks between beers or Pepsi, two half-liter waters, without desserts or coffee and counting the cover charge we spent a total of about € 120, personally I think it is a slightly too high price considering the quality and quantity of food ordered but nothing exaggerated or exorbitant. Overall I consider it a good restaurant if you want to try a decent pizza near the shopping area in a clean, quiet and informal location with friends and family or if you are there as a tourist.

Admittedly, the restaurant initially seems a bit chaotic because the space is very small and used to its full potential. But the super friendly service and extensive menu quickly made you feel very comfortable. Food is always a matter of taste; for us (4 people), all the dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. The pizza was very generous and well-topped. We are absolutely delighted to have chosen this restaurant and will definitely return there on our next visit to Maastricht.

great atmosphere inside, the interior aligns with the concept so well and there's a very homely feel to it. the staff was very kind and the food got served quickly. the food was delicious and they have plenty of vegetarian options. it was affordable and it was very nice to start with some bread and olives free of charge. so all in all a very hospitable and cozy atmosphere, would definitely go again!

Crazy place, could eat pizza here every day and drink pints of Gulpener. Not recommended if there are Belgians

I start by saying that I work in gastronomy, so I know my field very well. I ordered a pizza margherita which was nearly uneatable. It tasted like a 4€ pizza from a Chinese restaurant, not from Italian restaurant. In the menu was written cheese, pomodoro. BY DEFINITION Margherita as mozzarella as cheese, so I was very surprised when I received a pizza with a smelly semi burnt cheese on, which they told me was Gouda. 12€. They should write in the menu that the cheese is Gouda. ITS A SCAM OTHERWISE, to save what? 2€? If the owner is Italian he is simply taking advantage of non Italian people who don’t know what Italian cuisine is.

Very friendly owner and staff. My son is very picky with food and they were very helpful in meeting his requirements. Food was great thin crispy pizza base. You get fresh delicious bread especially with garlic butter. For the location the prices are also very affordable. We will be back soon

While passing through Maastricht for the Amstel I found this little restaurant on TikTok and an incredible address. Everything is good, we stopped there for 2 evenings. Once to taste the trio of pasta: calenoni lasagna and ravioli was delicious. The 2nd evening the Neapolitan pizza with a good garlic flavor was delicious! Thank you for this tasty discovery No doubt dark!

Unfortunately we are very disappointed. A salad for 18€ consisted of a small plate of green salad tomatoes, cucumbers and egg. Otherwise the prices were not in proportion to the quality of the food. The table legs were loose and everything else was very worn. Positively, the staff was really very friendly, but I wouldn't go to this restaurant again.

Coming from Groningen and were looking for a not too expensive restaurant so tried it here, well it was a good choice. We were immediately helped quickly and in a very friendly manner. While eating, the staff asked if everything was to our liking and tasty. The food was very tasty, very fast and came with a special spicy sauce (for spicy lovers) so in short: Great place if we are ever in the area again, we will visit again!

The pizza was okay, it was a bit dry for our taste. The dough was thin and crisp, we don’t prefer it that way but the ingredients were all fresh and good. The pizzas were mediocre but the Melanzana, the Melanzana was phenomenal! It was the best Melanzana I’ve ever eaten. The tomato sauce was amazing. We also tried the house wine (red) and liked it very much. However, there is a fly problem that needs to be sorted. They are distracting and a bit gross tbh.

Actually a pizza delivery person that is not quite a restaurant. The table layout was much too cramped. Many tables only had roughly a foot of space between them. Ate pizza napoli special and pasta carbonara. Unfortunately, the base of the pizza was not baked hard enough, so each pizza slice always hung down. Toilets and the space behind them need to be renovated very urgently.

We were kindly received and taken to our table. We soon received a bowl of baguette and olives. We got our pizza pretty quickly. Really delicious. Richly filled and good in taste. It looks attractive on the inside. Highly recommended.

I order here very often. Always satisfied! Occasionally things can go wrong due to the crowds. But they always solve that neatly. On to the next order!

Best and most affordable Italian food outside of Italy

We hadden op voorhand gereserveerd en dit bleek een goede beslissing, de benedenverdieping zat vol bij aankomst. We kregen een tafeltje boven, waar het toen nog erg rustig en aangenaam was. Beetje krappe plaatsen wel. Ober was vriendelijk maar sprak geen Nederlands, wel Engels. Uitgebreide keuze op de kaart. De mensen die pizza namen vonden hem heel erg lekker, wel lastig om te snijden met het aangeboden mes, zeker voor jongeren. De pasta carbonara was een kleine portie vonden wij persoonlijk maar wel lekker. De twee meest typische Italiaanse desserts van de kaart (tiramisu en panna cotta) waren niet voorradig wat de keuze voor dessert ook heel erg beperkte. De huiswijn rosé was behoorlijk zoet. Toiletten zijn aan renovatie toe en gaven ook een sterke geur af tot op de trap (een gevaarlijke trap trouwens maar dat is typisch aan dat soort historische woningen) wat wel wat storend was. Interieur past bij het concept en vonden wij aangenaam. Toen er boven een grote groep kwam zitten die enorm luidruchtig was, was de sfeer minder aangenaam.

Made a reservation for 7 people and we got a table near the door. The whole evening was back and forth, delivery people to deliver pizzas and also arriving and departing guests. Very annoying that the door was always left open even though it was 4 degrees outside. The space between the bar and our chairs was far too tight to allow everyone to pass, on the other side of the table we had a refrigerator in the back, from which drinks had to be unpacked. Also very annoying to have to keep moving forward! It has to be said, the food was tasty, but it was a cold and windy evening and food couldn't make up for that.

Pizza taco, quite special with carrots, tomatoes and onions. What I found remarkable is that they use regular garlic sauce from Remia. Making your own garlic sauce is too difficult? Still flying in the business in December, that's just not possible!

Small restaurant that takes you on a journey to Italy. Impeccable service always with a smile The pizza maker is very friendly and does it with a lot of attention, a real pro! The pizzas are excellent as are the starters. A little limited space, the table limits touch but it remains in the typical small restaurant theme.

We felt like we were in Naples, delicious food, atmosphere with Italian music transported us to Naples. Thank you for the treat.
