This weekend, 12 of us stayed at this super cozy hotel. We also had a delicious dinner and wonderful drinks. In a word, super friendly service, hospitable, and lovely rooms—large, clean, and fully equipped. We'd love to visit you again. You're the best. The motorcyclists from Rotterdam and Zeeland

Restaurant located on the square. The exterior looks nice and inviting, with a patio right outside. The square itself lacks atmosphere. I ordered a farmer's schnitzel with fries and salad. The schnitzel wasn't bad at all. The fries were way too greasy, and the salad was unimaginative. Your average snack bar could do much better. All in all, the food was subpar.

A lovely ferry ride to Grubbenvorst. Stroll around and enjoy a drink at the lovely terrace at "In de witte dame" (In the White Lady). Friendly young staff. Great prices. Next time, we'll have a delicious dinner here!

In de Witte Dame - Car Parking is an Issue We recently stayed at” In de Witte Dame”; it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel had a series of rooms and apartments in different buildings across the site. Beware though, we were first allocated a room in the roof space, up 2 flights of narrow stairs and no lift, not ideal for the elderly with heavy suitcases, so do check. The manager arranged for a ground floor apartment, it was clean and spacious. The personnel were friendly and obliging and spoke both English and German. There was a plentiful continental breakfast buffet included. There was no room cleaning on the first day, we had to request this. The hotel has a lovely, terraced area and it was very pleasant to sit out there of an evening. Major drawback, parking. The hotel does not have its own secure parking, it is surrounded by busy streets with limited parking opportunities.

In the middle of Grubbenvorst with great trees (linden trees) that provide the best shade.

Wonderful stay, really worth it

Spacious terrace and with a view of the central village square. Very varied menu and the combination deal is recommended. Delicious asparagus soup with ham and egg and a tasty sandwich. Service is friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food Good quality-price ratio. Friendly staff. Located on a charming square. Large and beautiful terrace. With both sunny and shady places. Didn't have to wait long.

We were there for dinner. We had spare ribs with fries and asparagus with ham. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. The only thing was that both of the glasses we were given were dirty. One had lipstick residue, and the other had orange juice chunks in it. The service was very nice, but a bit inattentive and slow. One star deducted for that, but still worth a visit. The ambiance and decor are particularly inviting.

Their White Asparagus, a local delicacy from April to the end of June, was delicious. The waitress and waiter were very kind, made a small talk and helped promptly. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the hôtel with the family (4 people). The room was very spacious, very clean and we lacked nothing. We will definitely come back when we are passing through. There is a nice and large terrace and the food is good in the restaurant.

The asparagus tasted delicious, but was absolutely overpriced for 5 sticks. Steaks were a disaster in terms of quality and taste. Not recommended food in a nice atmosphere. Price-performance ratio poor.

We often stay at the Witte Dame for business reasons. We always feel very comfortable there. And we always enjoy coming back. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling and for a longer stay. The rooms are all renovated, very comfortably furnished and very clean. The food is always delicious. Service top. Breakfast is now served in buffet form. You can always be completely satisfied. Everything fine . Thanks for that.

I was there on May 2/3. Beautiful hotel with a great terrace in beautiful surroundings. Good clean room, informal attentive service, delicious breakfast (also available outside on the terrace). Worth repeating.

Beautiful accommodation in an ideal location for family trips! We felt very comfortable. The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. We didn't have any more contact because we took care of ourselves. We stayed here with our 4-year-old and 11-year-old daughters and used the location to go on trips in the area, e.g. B. to Toverland and Venlo. The holiday apartment was fully equipped - there was even a washing machine and a dryer. A Nespresso coffee machine was also available. The size of the apartment was absolutely sufficient and we felt completely comfortable. Parking spaces can be found around the complex and are free.

What a nice place! I spent the night and ate here. Reception was nice, friendly. Room was fine, nice that there are also single rooms. It is an old building, a bit noisy, but quiet after 10 o'clock. The terrace is therefore closed. Breakfast is also fine. Dinner was tasty, well prepared, chat at the table (if you want). In a few minutes' walk you are on the water, with nice walking and cycling routes nearby. General atmosphere is friendly, open and welcoming!

Had a lovely lunch. The fish salad was excellent. The croquettes with bread were okay. I would have chosen a better brand. I'd happily pay more for it. But all in all, a nice menu and a lovely meal outside in the sun.

Review: Hotel “In de Witte Dame” – Grubbenvorst We had a wonderful overnight stay at In de Witte Dame in Grubbenvorst. The hotel is really beautiful and exudes a nice, peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in a family room, which had a separate bedroom for our child. The room was spacious, neat and fully equipped. The bathroom was large and clean, and the beds were wonderful. The breakfast was fine and the service friendly and attentive. We stayed here because of a family celebration nearby, but this hotel is definitely a place we will remember for next time. Highly recommended!

Nice and cosy restaurant with friendly staff. They served a nice Cappuccino with a small liquor with cream on the side. The parsnip soup was also very nice. One attention point that I mentioned to waitress was that the bread served with the soup was old and tough.

We stayed there for one night with two adults and two children (1 and 2 years old). There is more than enough parking. You are greeted in the restaurant and given your room key there. We had the loft, which was on the second floor. When booking, we indicated that we needed two extra beds for the children. Everything was ready in the room when we arrived. A really nice, large room, a super comfortable bed, various seating options, and a large bathroom. Towels, bathrobes, extra pillows, a small refrigerator, and a tea station were available. The food in the restaurant in the evening looked very appealing and was very busy. Breakfast in the morning was very good. You could help yourself to coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc., and the breakfast was also set up as a buffet. Everything you could possibly want was available, including croissants, bread rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, and yogurt. Check-out is by 11 a.m., and you return the key to the restaurant at that time. The staff were truly friendly and accommodating at all times. When the restaurant is closed in the evening or morning, there's a separate entrance for hotel guests, where you can access with your room key. Conclusion: We'll be back!!!

Beautiful location, very neat. Beautiful building, well maintained and very friendly person. We chose to stay in a family room and the space was very spacious. It was certainly clean, just don't look under the bed... However, this is an issue in every hotel. Everything must have been recently renovated, because it looked little used. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, sufficient choice and again neatly helped by the staff. The dining area is atmospheric and the food fresh. Is there anything left to complain about as a true Dutchman? Yes, certainly, a few points for improvement: - We were in a family room where it was boiling hot upon arrival. Lovely that underfloor heating, but when you miss a thermostat, it turns out to be very inconvenient. This was reported to the reception and the underfloor heating was neatly turned off. However, it takes a very long time for the underfloor heating to cool down and so I sat with a chair by the open doors until midnight to let it cool down. - No window in the children's room, would certainly have been desirable given the heat. - Shower room is very, very spacious. But there is a small, shabby shower head and no shower door or shower curtain. This made the room very wet. - Mattresses, with holes. Were much too soft for us, but that is a personal preference. Why then a high rating? Location, price, quality, service are just fine.

15 years ago we gave a dinner to family and friends to celebrate our wedding. We wanted to celebrate that in 2024 at the same location. Atmosphere is good but the food disappointed me. I had a grill mix myself, but it was heated up (au bain marie). The steak was dry and the taste of the other pieces of meat was mediocre. Very unfortunate, I would have preferred a freshly grilled piece of meat.

We stayed here for an overnight stay on a bike tour. The family room was very large and tidy. Both dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Recommended accommodation.

Unfortunately, the food (schnitzel) was very greasy, the spare ribs were reasonable but the accompanying attributes were not supplied. Well, at the table behind us and the quantity was considerably more. Unfortunately a one-off and "too expensive" visit from us this time.

We had bought a high tea via smart market. Delicious food was depicted there. What we got was a lot simpler and not as tasteful.

Wonderful restaurant! I passed it once on a bike ride... rather by chance. I just drank a beer and continued cycling. But I looked at the map and thought, you can go there with your wife. We live in Goch. That's what we did now. Varied menu with dishes that we like. Prices are moderate and reasonable. The staff, a young lady, very courteous and competent. Served in Dutch, good German and English. The recommendations of the day were made. The food was wonderfully prepared, very tasty and also something to look at. I think we will come back and can recommend the restaurant.

My wife and I had a great time in this quietly located village on the Maas. The cozy terrace offered a beautiful view of the spacious and beautiful square. The room was fully equipped. The stairs to the first floor were a bit steep and narrow. A lift would be easier for the elderly. The staff is nice and very customer friendly. The kitchen prepares delicious dishes. We enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Breakfast tasty, but not very extensive. Even minimal choice of bread for 1 day. Hot meals are great. All in all, highly recommended to stay.

Very nice hotel with a very quiet and relaxing location. I visited the hotel in conjunction with Toverland and was very impressed! The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. The atmosphere on site (especially in autumn) was really nice. The bar is also very extensive! Would definitely stay here again if I found myself in the corner again.

The family room is nice and big. There is a double bed and two single beds. There is also a baby bed if required. The room also has air conditioning, which is very useful for a room under the attic. For breakfast there is a prepared egg. Otherwise it is a buffet with rolls, bread, sausage, cheese, muesli, jam and yoghurt. Drinks include coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fresh orange juice. You can also sit outside in the restaurant. The place is very beautiful. The food is good but not cheap.

The selection of food in the restaurant is very good. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable to cheap. For example, the children's portion of spare ribs costs €8. We fed both children from one plate. The guest rooms are large and extremely well maintained. A small drawback are the steep, narrow stairs to the top. This is a bit difficult with heavy suitcases. But that's just how things used to be built. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10. There is bread, rolls and various cold cuts. Plus fruit, vegetables and yoghurt and various juices. There is also a separate coffee machine for latte macchiato, espresso or cocoa. If you wish, you can also have eggs boiled or have them fried or scrambled. The staff is friendly, nice and always helpful. Thank you very much 😍

Very nice hotel and top service

Delicious food, great service and friendly staff. A few items for the kids including chicken nuggets and toastie. For the adults definitely try the De Witte Dame lunch if you have an appetite. Delicious, toast, ham, cheese, bacon on dark brown bread all served with 3 perfectly cooked eggs on top. Me and my husband both had this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this place.

We have stayed 6 nights at the In de Witte Dame boutique hotel. Our superior room under the attic was really nice. Big room, cool bath tub, big bed, kitchenette, 3 roof windows, air-conditioning as well! The breakfast holds only a small selection, so we had 3 times breakfast there with Granola and for us adapted ham sandwiche with two fried eggs, what was tasty and totally fine. After a noisy day in the city it's a lovely place to rest and spend the night to recharge and get new energy. Also the small town Abcoude is really cute and has a couple of coffee places and restaurants, supermarkets as well. Parking is easily possible and for free. The only little BUT is that if you are noise sensitive you need to bring ear plugs and you might reconsider as the hotel is located to the train tracks, so you actually hear every train, no matter windows closed or not. Myself being a bit sensitive got used to it, but used ear plus during the night though. Anyway it's highly recommended and I would stay there again for sure! PS. Train station is 8min walk away and within 20min you are at Amsterdam Central station.

We had a High Tea at this restaurant today and we can't help but be very enthusiastic. Young ladies serving, but enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable, all of them. The high tea was very tasty. In any case, the tea, of high quality and 5 different types and flavors, completely matches the dishes. You will receive a card with an explanation about the tea itself and why it fits well with the course in question. We recommend reading this completely in the beginning for the best experience. In addition, the service also provides good explanations. The food played a supporting role, but with verve! The soup was incredibly tasty and the savory and sweet snacks were fresh, well prepared, simply delicious! You have a view of the music chapel from the very spacious terrace. We think it's very atmospheric on warm summer evenings. We will definitely come back here for lunch or dinner. We paid €19.95 per person for high tea and we sat for about 1.5 hours. Parking is available nearby and is free. Cycling to junction 81
