Indofoods in Centrum

Ordered twice. Unfortunately, this is the last time. The food smells stale, the vegetables limp and overcooked. I didn't enjoy it at all. It felt like the food wasn't fresh and a few days old. Such a shame. Not for me again.

I picked up my order twice at 5:00 PM, ordering and paying online well in advance the second time. Both times, there was chaos in the kitchen with confused students. Both times, everything was missing. I drove back from Oosterheem. Then you have to wait another 15 minutes while they handle other orders first. Meanwhile, you're not sitting together at the table and the food is cold. Not a shred of mea culpa. This needs to improve. I've since read the comment below, to which I can add a few things: It's a shame how you couch this review in a "yes, but prepare satay" and "I'm glad you enjoyed your meal" narrative. Surely "not a shred of mea culpa" is enough reason to completely take ownership of yourself? This is about the attitude of your staff. Furthermore, the staff, with whom you have apparently consulted, clearly takes little responsibility, because I had to urge them to bring the satay after 20 minutes, apart from the somewhat laconic attitude.

Today I picked up some excellent dishes: sg telor, sg beans, sg udang, rendang and of course some rice.

We ordered food from Indo Foods. After delivery, we'd all filled our plates, but when we started eating, all the dishes were lukewarm or cold. I contacted them, and the lady asked if they could tell me by car or scooter that I live 500 meters from their business and that the food should be hot. As a solution, they offered to pick up the food and reheat it, but this wasn't an option for us since it was already on the plates. They didn't offer any other solution. We felt compensation would have been appropriate with an order of over €100. Now we all had to reheat our plates, and then the dishes that were in the containers.

Update after phone call: We just discussed everything on the phone, but something didn't quite go well regarding the order (accepting it). We discussed this properly and agreed to use this experience as a learning experience. Because of this pleasant (and constructive (the government can learn something from this :-))) conversation, we decided to adjust the star rating (also based on previous experiences where everything went well). The food is, as mentioned before, simply good. The service was upgraded to 4 stars because of the conversation. The atmosphere, based on the regular plates we received last time, was upgraded to 3 stars. Response to the owner's comment: Your story is incorrect: I ordered two mixed satay, one with noodles and one with nasi goreng. Your colleague then asked if I wanted the dish with beans (or something similar), and I said yes. I immediately indicated that we would eat it there, and indeed, my friend was there 3 minutes after being served. If your staff member assumed I would take some with me, why were all the meals placed in open containers on the "table"? She's still asking which one do you want to eat and which should I pack? Original: I've been to dinner three times now. The first was good, tasty, and affordable. The second time was good, but a bit less affordable. We went again yesterday, ordered two mixed satays and had to pay €47 (without drinks). We told them we would eat it there, but we got the food from a plastic container. Because my friend was late, they gave me one set of cutlery (as if I ate two portions). When my friend came in, we had to ask for cutlery ourselves. Regarding a sauce, I was asked if it was spicy or regular, and I chose regular. The peanut sauce I got afterward (a different sauce) nearly scorched my tonsils. The food itself is good, but for the price, you'd expect more service. When I asked if those two meals really cost €47, I was told yes, would you like to see the receipt? I can guess what was on the receipt, as I'd just withdrawn it from my debit card.

Today I picked up food to eat at home for 5 people. 4 noodles and 1 nasi dish. The food was delicious. But it's been more than that. In the past, we've had larger containers.

We ordered a satay pan and we really enjoyed it, it comes with a warming pan and satay sauce separately, highly recommended!

After having a delicious meal at the restaurant once, we opted for takeout this time. That was also delicious. The Indofoods/Saputra kitchen delivers truly top-notch quality, incredibly rich in flavor.

A cozy restaurant. The service is excellent and very friendly and helpful. The Indonesian dishes are truly SUPERB. This is the place to be if you want to enjoy pure and delicious Indonesian cuisine in Zoetermeer. The dishes remind me of the Indonesian cuisine of TotZo, which unfortunately no longer exists. So now that gap has been filled.

Good service and a delicious fresh warm rice table at home!

Gado gado delivered at home was a real disappointment. Half of the container was lontong and the entire container was covered in tasteless 'peanut sauce'. Too bad, because it is not that difficult to make this dish. Next time, don't be lazy and just cook it yourself again. By the way: the bami dishes were also rated as bad by my table companions. Hopefully people are open to improvement.

I ordered €42.05 worth of food incl. tip. The food was delivered. Unfortunately I did not get what I ordered. I ordered a monthly special with rice which is online on the site. I get a bami dish. I called and said that this is not what I ordered. That is the monthly special from last month, they said. The monthly special with rice is now online so I expect to get that. I was spoken to very unfriendly. And it was clear that this man would not do anything with this. Too bad. Bad service and the food is not even tasty.

Ordered snacks and spekkoek at indofoods.nl for a cremation service. Everything was neatly packed and delivered warm in warming boxes at the agreed time. We were allowed to borrow and return them later. Super flexible and cooperative and good quality. Five big stars from us!!

We ordered a 'Rijsttafel Bali for 2 persons' 8 times and only received 1 small bowl of white rice and 1 bag of prawn crackers. We thought that was a bit small for such a large order for 16 people. Then you wonder how much white rice and prawn crackers you get with 1 rice table for 2 people. Food was really good. It was also delivered exactly at the agreed time.

I got a bowl of rendang here for “4” people and paid €16.20 for it, while this might only be for 2, maybe 3 people. Small portions is not a problem, but for this amount it is absurd.

We enjoyed the Saputra rice table tonight. The various dishes were delicious and we thought they were among the best we have ever tasted. The welcome and service were very friendly and knowledgeable. This restaurant is highly recommended for lovers of delicious Indonesian food.

My parents just ordered a lot of food for a lot of money. It was very little. We also had telephone contact about this and the staff said that they hear this more often. But that was it, no compensation and nothing extra was offered or a solution sought. The food we got was tasty though. But definitely the last time for us.

Unfortunately much too spicy (hot). 🥵 My tip... mention or reduce the excess of peppers or simply leave them out. Instead, put a jar of sambal on the table. And as an extra service, atjar or other pickles. As it should be. Something for everyone.

Unfortunately, this shop/restaurant has deteriorated rapidly in recent months. Previously, I had always been a regular weekly customer, just like my parents, and I even did catering a few times. This was great until a few months ago. I got the feeling that they have become busier in recent months, but this has not improved the quality of the food. The meat is either of poor quality or not properly prepared. Just braise fat. The rengdang is shiny, so greasy and extremely chewy. Too bad it's crawling! My parents had the same experiences last week and we will not come again.

I have never eaten such delicious INDIAN food in a long time. Especially the taste atmosphere that I inherited from my Indian mother and grandmother... we will definitely come back when we are in the area again. Or even better... in Drenthe we miss such a delicious Indian eatery, so....😋😛

Delicious food. We had a rice table. It was far from standard. Special dishes were served. Unfortunately I have forgotten the names. I know quite a few Indian dishes by name and taste, but almost everything was new to me. Even the nasi was not nasi goreng but nasi koening. You were really surprised and spoiled. The dishes were prepared with great care and were beautifully served. Also with some explanation. It's a small restaurant... and rightly so, it was packed. You might see that as a disadvantage. Because there is a lot of talk and noise around you in a fairly small space. That requires concentration to be able to follow the conversations at your own table... but I would say: people, eat here! Go here for the food! And above all, enjoy the food!

We come here regularly. Really authentic Indian flavours. Many delicious dishes. We sometimes read that the rendang is too spicy. We just love it that way! If I remember correctly, the cuisine is also Sumatran and is known for its spicy dishes. That is why the rendang pedang is a bit 'spicier' but is definitely recommended, just like the gado gado. Friday last to indofoods to buy kue lapis and coconut balls. There was nothing in the display case, but they did have some in the freezer. I didn't need them until Sunday, so I bought both snacks. Thaw in refrigerator. Today, Saturday evening, I tried one kue lapis and one coconut ball. Glad I did that and didn't offer it to my visitors. Kue lapis was hard, grainy, no taste and pale colors. Coconut balls ditto. Not to eat. The first impression is……… In my case NO subsequent impression

Rarely have I eaten such a delicious delivery meal. This goes in the favorites list.

A simple but genuine Indonesian restaurant with great flavors. On the menu you see the 'standard' dishes, but don't let that fool you, the flavors and layout are anything but standard. These are the flavors you experience when you go to Java and the prices are very acceptable. The owner is also of Indofoods, which has been serving the greater Zoetermeer area with catering and take-away for years and that experience is noticeable. Highly recommended, so book in time if you want to dine here.

The cashew chicken was really bad. Maybe 3 cashew nuts in the dish and lots of pieces of soft skin/fat on the chicken. Not tasty!

I saw a review about lukewarm meals, but that may be because they have it delivered; therefore better pick up! I think Indofoods is the best Indo in South Holland. Keep it up !!

Too bad, I took a special detour because I was really looking forward to it. Satay dish taken to hotel. Very disappointed in the satay! 4 of the 6 sticks were not properly cooked on the grill, half cooked. Threw it away and only ate the noodles.

Ordered the Indopan for 7 people with extra satay for a birthday. Generous portions and everything tasted delicious. Super fresh and just like grandma used to make it. We are real fans of Indofoods. Enak sekali! 😋

Yesterday, as is often the case during the weekend, I ordered from Indofoods. Let me start with the positive: Delivery person was on time, but: 1. Gadogado was lukewarm and minimal sateh sauce 2. Nasi dish was lukewarm, but otherwise OK. 3. Bowl of "rendang"....... I don't know what this was supposed to represent, it had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with rendang, a blackened, scraped together dry gunk, that's all I can make of it. . I get the idea that small orders are placed in between..... We're not going to do the Christmas box(es) either, we'll just go back to our neighborhood store, we have to get it, but we want quality. It's a bit of a shame, the start of Indofoods in Zoetermeer, also in a restaurant, was promising, but the success has gone to their heads a bit. Shame . Now perfectly solved by Indofoods. As said, we order regularly, this time it was disappointing.....see you next time!

What a worthless uninterested service. They just make you wait and wait and wait. These Indos are certainly not hungry anymore. It's a real shame, where are those shops with ancient, genuine Indonesian service and friendliness?

Good food, but 1 downside regarding hygiene. I saw that for the chicken cashew, the cashew nuts are grabbed by hand (without gloves) from a container and thrown on the food (literally). Would use a spoon, because that is a bit more hygienic, especially under the current circumstances. I quickly lose my appetite when I see something like that.

Once again a super fresh Indian rice table with extra sateh kambing because we love it. Fast, warm and very polite delivery person.

There are no takeaway prices! Delivery and collection are the same price. Since the costs for delivery are about 20%, the price for collection can be reduced by 20%. Otherwise, the collector will contribute to the costs of delivery. Delivery costs must become more transparent. Delivery is not free or almost free.

There is nothing to complain about eating Indofoods. Very good. What was disappointing today was the delivery. We had indicated 5.30 pm for delivery on the website. At 5:55 PM I called Indofoods and was told that the delivery person had just left for several addresses in our neighborhood. Finally the food was delivered at 6.25 pm with the apology that it was very busy. Our daughter had to leave at 6:30 PM so she was not able to really enjoy the food in peace.

We had the Mother's Day menu and it was so delicious, it is always tasty but now special with so many different dishes, it's just delicious!!!

Tasty food, fair price, fast service

We had dinner there on March 13, it's a shame that the restaurant has become smaller. This is of course due to corona, too bad. The food was quite a minus nasi goreng was too salty (note that) and gado gado had to be served with lontong but was served with rice. (It's on the menu) peanut sauce was too dry, which was caused by the microwave. Too bad it's all heated up in the microwave.

A really nice Indonesian restaurant / shop. And according to my partner, all the flavors of the dishes were correct. Highly recommended if you want really tasty Indonesian food

Ordered today but unfortunately I can't say it was a success. Food was cold when ordered hot. The chicken cashew was an abundance of garlic. You also saw the pieces of garlic. The noodles tasted completely different than what we had with friends last week. So the recipe is not constant. The nasi wasn't like last week either. The bull was just sambal pickle so spicy (ok for me) all in all unfortunately not worth repeating for me.

Good food. The satay was very worthwhile; There is also plenty to choose from for vegetarians.

We held a selamatan today in connection with the 40th day after the death of our mother. We had a Tumpeng made by Indofoods. They arrived a little earlier today especially for us so that we could start the selamatan on time. The Tumpeng was beautiful and truly delicious. Thank you Indofoods for the beautiful Tumpeng, thanks to you it has become a valuable and unforgettable day.

We can say that we are regular customers of Indofoods. I have noticed lately that success is surpassing the organization. Yesterday the noodles were cold and hard, my wife's dish was borderline and, although we had ordered hours in advance, the order arrived half an hour late. Twice before we even had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our order. As the organization becomes larger, you will have to adjust the logistics part. This is where things go wrong. The site states that if you want to be sure of your order, you must order well in advance via the internet. Well, this doesn't work. Indofoods, working on this. The satay is delicious and so are the dishes, but make sure that the logistics part grows with the organization.

I have now ordered from Indo food a number of times, such as nassie goreng, gado gado istemewa. It was always great. Delicious food. Except today. I had mihoen goreng. This was really nothing. It was not noodles either, but sooen (vermicelli rice). I am of Indian descent myself, so I know what mihoen is. This is not worth repeating.

Super! This time Chicken cashew and spareribs. The taste is great. Indonesian food as it should be.

I am of Surinamese descent and am used to tasty, well-seasoned food. You won't find this everywhere. The bami goreng was already really tasty. But the istemwa dish was delicious. I have nothing to criticize about this company and only praise. The order was delivered on time and warm. I will order here again next time!

Delicious food, ordered via the indofoods.nl website, paid with iDeal and collected in a handy warming pan (deposit, so sustainable). The rendang was delicious, the chicken cashew is also recommended. Together with sajoer, nasi koening and some satay and stir-fried vegetables, it's really delicious.
