Indonesisch Restaurant Sari Zoetermeer in Centrum

We ate at Sari on Wednesday, November 26th, at 6:30 PM. The food was terrible. We've come to expect better in the past. The service was terrible. We couldn't order coffee after dinner because the coffee machine had already been cleaned. With dessert, we were immediately given the bill without asking because the staff wanted to go home and close at 9:00 PM sharp. This was our last visit after many years. Keep this up, and Sari will soon be closed completely. Worthless and tasteless.

I feel like everything comes out of the microwave. Prepared in containers in the freezer, and when it's ordered, it's taken out of the freezer and microwaved. I once ordered satay and it came microwaved, along with a small, thick dollop of peanut sauce. It's a shame, and if you order meat, never forget to order nasi goreng, rice, etc., otherwise you'll only get meat.

The decor isn't anything to write home about, but the food is. We had the Rijsttafel Sari (rice table). It was varied, very tasty, and more than enough. The staff is friendly and attentive.

This evening we picked up two mini rice tables. We were very disappointed. Besides nasi goreng and rice, we received three types of meat, some of which were bone-in. There were no vegetables. The taste was also disappointing. We've had better experiences with Sari in the past. I just read that there's a new, Chinese owner. That explains why the taste isn't Indonesian.

What about Indonesian food? You get the same satay as at the Chinese restaurant. Boiled meat with a smack of peanut sauce. The long prawn crackers also betray the fact that it's no longer an Indonesian restaurant. Too bad.

Been coming here for 15 years. Same owner for 15 years. Delicious traditional Indonesian food, especially the satay and noodles are delicious and highly recommended! Service is always good and the food always comes very quickly.

This is our favorite place to dine out. Our family are regular visitors, and we still enjoy it very much. We usually order two different kinds of rijsttafel and never manage to finish it all.

Sadly, it's no longer an Indonesian restaurant. It's now a Chinese restaurant and nothing special at all. It's a shame the new owner is continuing with Sari's good name.

Always satisfying to eat Indonesian food here. The food is excellent and delicious. The space isn't overwhelming, and the table for four could be a bit larger. A rijsttafel (rice table) just fits.

Now during the COVID 19 period, it is good that the restaurants can still take takeaway menus. Especially if you have taken a long walk in a city or village, you will be hungry. Very nice and friendly place where you immediately feel at home. The quality of the food is well taken care of and executed. It also tasted delicious. They work with fresh products.

Yesterday we had our first meal here. Having plenty of experience with Indonesian cuisine, we were really looking forward to the Rijsttafel Sari (rice table Sari), and it didn't disappoint. In fact, we absolutely loved it! For a reasonable price, you get a wide variety of dishes, including three types of satay. We'd love to come back again.

DISGUSTING! Don't order here!! I ordered soto ajam and there was a chicken BRAIN in my soup. Yuck, imagine the kind of meat they use. Never again!! They also forgot the rice.

Ordered by phone and it was ready when we came to pick it up. Food was very tasty. Indonesian table for 2 people. We had 1 bowl of fried rice, which was actually just too little. But we ate everything. Highly recommended!

I'm surprised. Saturday evening, all tables occupied. Packed out. Of course the food is excellent. Really authentic Indonesian. That is why everyone is there. There is still some room for improvement in terms of atmosphere. And maybe it should just stay that way. It's just Sari. I was there to pick up food. That also tasted great. Reservations are really necessary for a table...

We had a very nice meal here again. Too bad we didn't get a little more Mihoen, which was just a little too little.

Order was incorrect. Received a different dish twice The bins were not even half full. It didn't taste good. Hardly any answers or help to my questions.

The menu is fairly limited. Combination with takeaway menu would be better as far as I'm concerned. Quality food is delicious!

Reserving was very easy. The food was good, rice table pedis. The service was okay, asked once for a drink, this was at the beginning, but nothing else. The atmosphere is okay.

The chicken in the OPOR was (icy) cold inside... I got the coke on the house... I also received an apology, but the container was taken back and I received the same container (warmer) back. The flavors were good but cold icy chicken that must have been microwaved

Very expensive and not much for the money

After 16 years we were back where we used to get takeout frequently. We have entered into time travel. We had rice table sari. Excessively filled table. With personal topper the sateh kambing.

Very good food. Very nice service. The ambiance is a bit simpler. But for me a winner.

Delicious two different rice tables. Had a lovely meal at home with 4 people. Very complete. Enjoy. This restaurant should move to a larger building, where dine-in and take-out are separated.

Friendly people. Atmosphere was a bit old fashioned. We had the vegetarian rice table. The food was downright bad. The tofu tasted like cardboard. The eggs were stone cold and green boiled. Beans from the freezer. The dishes are heated in the microwave. Even the surundeng had no taste. Pros: I found chunks of fresh apple in the canned fruit. The noodles and nasi were good to eat.

Delicious rice table pedis, attentive and personal service. The only downside: the host's empty glass was always immediately noticed and filled, while the guest had to ask for it himself both times. The place was full between 6 and 9 pm!

Top service and top food. I can only warmly recommend it. The rice platters in particular are very good and enough for two people.🍜🍖

The food is delicious! We took the rice table "Sari". They also have a vegetarian rice table. The staff can be better. Not bad, but clumsy. The atmosphere in the store is mainly functional. Ultimately it's all about good food and that is certainly the case!

Het eten is altijd heel erg lekker en ik haal het al jaren erg graag, maar bij echt elke bestelling klopt er wel iets niet (vergeten of verkeerde gerecht). Ondanks dat dit altijd erg netjes opgelost wordt is het er om gek van te worden.

super lekker gegeten. Echt de moeite waard. De bediening mag wel alerter, ik moest diverse malen roepen en wenken om de aandacht te trekken. Voor de sfeer en aankleding van het restaurant ga je hier niet heen, maar nogmaals: super lekker gegeten.

Al jaren wilde ik hier heen. En heb spijt dat ik niet eerder ben gegaan. Wat was het lekker. Had de rijsttafel mini besteld. Het was echt heerlijk! Het was echt de lekkerste rijsstafel die ik ooit heb gegeten. Het personeel is ook echt heel vriendelijk en lief. Over niet al te lange tijd kom ik hier echt weer terug!

Meerdere keren eten hier gehaald en ook in het restaurant gegeten. En ik denk wel de beste uit Z'meer Het eten is echt Indisch ik geef dit een 7,5 Maar dit komt omdat ik Indische roots heb dus bij tantes en oma's het ook vaak krijgt ,en ja dat is nog beter maar dit komt in de buurt. Bij afhalen effe controleren of alles erin zit. Ik heb weleens gehad dat er iets miste of juist dubbel was. Het restaurant zelf is niet authentiek Indisch alhoewel ik me hier niet aan stoor het is wel gezellig. Het personeel valt je niet lastig dus als je nog wat drinken wilt vragen! Indo korting kennen ze niet hahaha

We waren met een man of 8 en dat maakt het meteen gezellig. Het restaurant is op zichzelf niet heel sfeervol. Het eten daarentegen was erg goed en veel. We hadden een uitgebreide rijsttafel. Doggybag ging mee naar huis. Ze zouden iets vaker langs kunnen komen om te vragen of mensen nog wat willen drinken. Al met al toch wel een aanrader voor Indisch eten in Zoetermeer.

Allerlekkerste Indisch eten. Den Haag heeft meerdere Indische restaurants, maar geen van allen kunnen ze tippen aan Sari. Dus ik rij er graag voor om naar Zoetermeer. Kwaliteit van het eten is consistent.

The food was good except for the spare ribs in sweet sour sauce, it was too hard, chewy, The chicken, spare rib included in the rice table were delicious, a bit too spicy for my friend, but I love it.

An "Indisch" restaurant as there were many in The Netherlands for a decade or so. This is a rock in the turbulent ocean of fast food and horrible counter style food distribution. For me the only one to go to in Zoetermeer for the traditional "Indische maaltijd".

Voortreffelijke rijsttafel gegeten met gezelschap van 8; portionering goed, variatie uitstekend. Prijs/kwaliteit goed. Sympathieke bediening. Jammer was dat de toegezegde saté kambing niet van geit was maar van lam.

Een heerlijke vegetarische rijsttafel, alleen wel jammer dat ze geen vegetarische sambal hebben.

Fantastisch lekkere rijsttafel (Sari) ... Top! Tikje warm binnen.

Prima eten. Ophalen is beter dan daar eten. Heel ongezellig binnen.

Was lekker eten. Maar de porties zijn de helft van wat je bij de Chinees krijgt. De prijs is wel 2x zo hoog. Ik ga wel ergens anders !
