We had a lovely meal on the terrace. Super friendly service, fast and not pushy. The food was really great! Delicious fries, the baked potato is a must and the dish (114) was really fantastic! Really recommended!

Very bad experience Christmas menu main course €36.50 pp When it comes to the table you could put it in a hollow tooth. Four super small pieces of meat tough and dry. Seriously, the place is still full, I really don't understand how. Do people have no taste? Now our son is a chef so we may be used to better, but you really can't serve this

My wife and I come here very regularly. Often together or sometimes with family. We even had our dinner after our wedding at Irodion with a large group. And that was perfect! If you are looking for an excellent Greek restaurant with family roots, this is the place for you. Had a delicious meal again yesterday. Delicious again. The Greek Sauvignon Blanc is especially recommended.

Nice meal. The hostess ensured that we got a table with a fresh breeze. We actually expected to eat pita bread instead of baguette for the starter. Soup and fried mussels were delicious. Meat dishes were delicious.

Good food the atmosphere was good

Started with the order. I wanted an appetizer and some by myself group of 10 people as well. The waitress says that the others are not having a starter. As if I can't have a starter either. Then the plates are not collected, in fact they no longer come to our table to see whether we have finished the starter and whether we would like something to drink. Beer without a glass, and tea that doesn't come. Finally, after collecting the plates themselves and placing them on the corner of the table, they came to collect the plates. After waiting a while for the main course, one of us called the waiter and asked when our food would arrive. He answers casually, “It will take another half hour, because you have just finished your starter.” This totally hit us the wrong way, to which he replied, then you pay for the drinks and starters and then you leave anyway…. This was still a point of discussion with us, because some wanted to wait for their main course. However, the waiter had already filled in the outcome for us and had already walked to the kitchen to cancel the main courses. Very bad thing. No service at all, this was our experience last year too, so they will NEVER see us again.

Beer served without a glass. Had to ask for another drink twice, waited half an hour after the starter and then asked when the main course would arrive. It will take another half hour was the waiter's response. We did not agree with that. His response was then you leave anyway. We also did that with 10 people. After 25 years of being a regular customer, they NEVER see us again.

After almost 6 years of coming back and looking forward to it, it was a huge disappointment! Food was cold, tasteless, small portions and no atmosphere. The grace of yesteryear is gone. Decor, staff, ambiance. It seems like everything has been skimped on, including the crockery! Wasted money!! No advertising from my side.

Ate there again for the first time in 6 years, it was always one of our favorite restaurants and we went there at least once a month. But alas, it turned out terribly bad! The ambiance, the service, the food, how it is served, basically everything! Very disappointing!!

It seems when you walk in there that they want you out the door as soon as possible. You sit down at the table and you barely have time to take a quick look at the menu before they come to your table to ask if we're ready yet. If we say we don't know yet, they walk away and look at your table too often as if they are in a hurry. That was far too pushy. The starter was meatballs in sauce. And it was as dry as anything and really didn't taste good. Main courses were the moussaka and mixed grill... the first was fine and the mixed grill, the first piece of meat was tender, but the rest was tough and the meat was not warm. And if you say something about it to the waiter when you're done, they ask why we didn't say that right away. Well, if they are so pushy with you in the beginning, you really have the feeling that you have to pay quickly because they want you gone asap. We mentioned it to the waiter, but he didn't say much about it and when we pointed it out to the owner when paying, he didn't care at all what we said about it. As long as you pay quickly and leave quickly. No, this is not worth repeating. They don't want any criticism in their case. We can tell you… in Oosterhout there is also a Greek restaurant with the same name and it is really so much better. Roosendaal can't match that!!

Very poor and unfriendly service, you are completely ignored. Everyone around us got a glass of ouzo while we got none. If you ask, they pretend not to hear you. No more Irodion for us. Next time back to Olympia!!!

We will never eat here again. what lousy service. uninterested and not friendly. the blonde girl takes the cake. go look for another job. but due to the crappy service the atmosphere is also mediocre. The food tastes good. However, if you ask for amarene cherries, serve those and not regular cherries. I would like to advise the owner to hire people who enjoy their work. We won't be back, we'd rather go to Olympa. they are a lot friendlier there.

I was there 2 weeks ago with my mother and daughter. We had a nice meal. 3 Brazilians who loved the Greek food and the atmosphere is also nice. I hope to eat there again soon before I go back to Portugal.

Quality of meat was good.. portions were not really big, few fries with a large mix grill for 2, luckily ordered a starter..staff helpful and friendly

Eat here weekly with my husband. Always order tzatziki, carpaccio, or sometimes the “large mussels” as a starter. delicious! As a main course, lamb strips or chops, steak and/or TONGUE (fish), definitely recommended. Greek salad always included as standard! Great service.

A lot of food was cold. Fried cod was cold, looked old and tough, no taste. It came with some kind of pasta, tasteless. Vegetables cold and almost raw. My husband's keftedes were lukewarm and did not taste good. Took a long time before service came again to order a drink or dessert. Not worth repeating for us.

Greek restaurant in the center of Roosendaal, what surprised us is how big it is inside. Staff was friendly, we received the wrong dish without any problems and it was resolved nicely with an apology, very nice. Price-quality ratio is top.

RECTIFICATION! On December 28, 2022 everything was suddenly different. The "real" chefs have probably returned to Greece for holiday. Different staff, different (mediocre) plates and everything was tasteless. Even the simple tzatziki was without herbs and garlic. It was nothing more than some kind of "mayonnaise" like sauce. Meat was tasteless and very tough. I made a proposal to the clerk to taste the same menu in the kitchen and report the result. I heard nothing more and was ignored. Last time, never here again, sincerely, very unfortunate. What could go wrong with a simple menu like a mixed grill, apparently everything. Try it out, tip, but elsewhere. Experience from 10-6-2022 (and often years earlier)...... Irodion in Roosendaal is an example for the entire area. Especially with the completely new interior and toilets. Extremely special, enjoying the REAL Greek cuisine. Definitely more than a restaurant, a real experience, experience the hospitality, the atmosphere, the special interior, the ambiance. The service is friendly, alert, attentive and prompt. Countless wine and beer varieties even on tap. Exquisite menus and very high quality. Rarely good. Some guests have something to celebrate. This creates an ambiance that I appreciate. Price - quality ratio = PERFECT!

Large (too large) Greek restaurant, looks more like a food factory than an attractive restaurant. A manager (the owner?) sits in the middle of the restaurant on a sort of throne and you have to pay there. This gives a very strange feeling, where I think the tip to the staff is usually omitted. Food is average, certainly not special. Operation is a bit clumsy and messy with too many teenagers. I saw at least 6 different people at the table. This means no one feels responsible for how you experience the dinner. Normally we eat at a smaller Greek restaurant in Steenbergen. However, that was fully booked. Because we wanted to eat out, we went to Irodion based on the reviews. So it was a less good choice. I cannot endorse the score of 4.3.

After a long time eating out again, we were lucky at Irodion, delicious food and lots of it!! We really couldn't eat it so we took it home neatly wrapped. There was also a dessert with our menu that we had chosen, the hostess indicated that we could also take this with us, we were happy to take advantage of this because we were both really full. Friendly staff and delicious food for little money! Sitting and dining for 4 hours.
