After a long time we went here for dinner again. The staff is very friendly! We found the food on the salty side, but certainly tasty. We found it very strange that we didn't get any vegetables or salad with it. Aren't those the most important nutrients you need? Apparently you have to order them separately. So we ate meat, meat, meat, some rice and fries. Too bad.

Hermes ordered the food was tasty, but ridiculously expensive (37 euros) for what you get not even enough for 1 person. you are ripped off where you stand! we will not order here again. very unfortunate!

We come here more often because of the overall picture. Good location, friendly staff, delicious food and fair prices. This time we enjoyed the Greek meatballs as an appetizer, Greek pasta as a main course and a special dame blanche to end it.

Vreselijke tent met eigenaar die zijn personeel ( al dan niet illegaal afblaft) eten beneden de maat koud en niet gaar Zeer onhygiënisch zagen twee muizen zo de zaak inschieten voor ons nooit meer Keuringsdienst zou hier eens binnen moeten vallen rn misschien mensen rechten organisatie ook. Went here today to eat and it was really bad, nothing compared to our previous experiences here. The owner is very unfriendly and rude, the tenderloin we had was ice cold, the owner kept interrupting us and arguing and looked at us angrily and ignored us for the rest of the evening. There was no solution for the cold meat. For us never again here, this place has had its best days.

Worst Greek from Brabant, bugs in my giros and raw tenderloin after making a comment about this to the arrogant owner with his Harry Potter glasses, no sorry, none of that complaint was ignored, never again for us.

Souflaki dish with fries and rice was good. Salad bowl was missing, something that is standard at other Greek restaurants. Price-quality ratio, nothing wrong with that. Not a bad restaurant for a snack and a drink.

We komen hier al jaren. Keer of 2-3 per jaar zoiets. Het wisselt heel erg hoe onze ervaring is. Er is veel aandacht van het personeel, allemaal even vriendelijk en correct. Het eten is eigenlijk altijd wel goed. De ene keer beter dan de ander, maar nooit slecht. Wat me wel erg tegenviel was dat er minstens 2 dingen op de rekening duurder waren dan op de kaart (fles bruiswater en de huiswijn) misschien nog wel meer dingen maar deze prijzen vielen al op. Ivm met het uitgenodigde gezelschap hier geen punt van gemaakt tijdens het afrekenen… maar correct is het niet! Waar ik ook zenuwachtig van wordt is het ijsberen door de zaak van de eigenaar/GM?

Vreselijke ervaring! Schaam je diep als je als manager in de zaak, achter de bar je geld staat te tellen, je tanden staat leeg te prikken mrt een tandenstoker, terwijl je je klanten aan het uitlachen bent omdat je hele leven alleen maar om geld draait en niet om klantvriendelijkheid. Ik kom hier nooit meer terug! De colafles van River stond met de dop open op de bar. Alle prik en leven was uit de fles gezogen. Overigens betaal je hier wel €3,70 voor, per glas! Ordinair! Na het aangeven dat de cola lauw was en geen enkel bubbeltje koolzuur meer bevatte, draaide de ober met zijn ogen en slaakte hij een diepe zucht! We kregen ook geen nieuwe, die heb ik zelf gevraagd bij de bar. Toen was het op aandringen wel mogelijk om een normale cola uit een glazen flesje te krijgen. Bijzonder! Het eten werd binnen 5 minuten na het bestellen geserveerd. Het vlees was lauw en de porties waren echt bijzonder klein. De gehaktballen bevatten mer beschuit dan vlees, want deze beschuitballen bevatten denk ik 20% gehakt… En dat voor hoge prijzen. Er werden twee porties friet/patat op tafel gezet en daarbij werd er mayonaise in zakjes op tafel gelegd. Die je vervolgens kon betalen bij het afrekenen!! Heeeeeeel bijzonder dat je het lef hebt om mensen op deze manier te bedonderen. €10,50 aan mayonaise op de rekening! Walgelijk. Ik heb dit overigens ook niet betaalt en van de rekening laten halen. Daarnaast, heb gewoon het fatsoen om je gasten te behandelen met respect. Ga als manager achter je geld opsnuiven en tellen en doe dat niet met je witte bodywarmer in de zaak.

Ordered food via their own site. Had done this before, and it worked out well. This time ordered just after 6 p.m. for delivery at 7 p.m. 7.15 pm no one had seen anyone, so we called to ask where our order was. Received the standard delivery person's answer: it's just on its way. Ultimately, the ordered food was delivered at 7:30 PM, with apologies because the place was busy with takeaways and people who would eat in the restaurant. 1 portion of lamb tenderloin, 2 keftedes and a bowl of rice. Damage more than 62 euros. Well, that's not a problem, as long as the food is tasty and good. Once inside we unpack, a bowl of rice: fine, 2 keftedes: small meatballs and a little bit of sauce but still acceptable, the lamb tenderloin: a small bag of cold, limp fries and 3 mini pieces of lamb tenderloin. Paying almost 34 euros for 3 very small pieces of meat was really too much for us. My husband called them back politely, they answered and when the man on the phone realized which order it was, there was no way to intervene, they only chatted about the delivery time (which we didn't call for at all of course), I hear my husband say a number of times that it is not about the delivery time, but the man continues to rattle on about the delivery times. In the meantime, my anger continued to increase and I weighed the pieces of meat, the 3 pieces of lamb tenderloin for which we paid almost 34 euros weighed together 123 grams!!?? In the meantime, my husband still couldn't get through the manager's story, so I picked up the phone and after a good shout, the gentleman's story was interrupted so that I could tell him that the delivery times were not the problem, but that we think 34 euros for 123 grams of meat is scandalous. The answer I literally got was: yes and what can I do about that, just order something else next time! Uh, no, we're not going to do that like that, I have now ordered, now paid so I would like to solve this now. I suggest that either a normal portion of lamb tenderloin is arranged, or that I get (part of) my money back, because I really am not going to pay that much money for so little meat. The answer I got was: yes, we can't do anything about it... tuut tuut tuut... hung up.... If there's one thing I can't stand, it's when people just hang up at such times and everything has to be done with... so I packed everything again and got in the car on the way to Thalassa... Upon arrival we see people sitting at one table to eat (the rest either left very quickly or I think it was a nice excuse). When we enter, there is immediately a horde of staff waiting for us, when I politely ask who I just spoke to on the phone, 3 people rush towards the kitchen. Then the manager who remained behind the bar asks what the problem was. So I explained to him that I think 34 euros for 123 grams of meat is a very scandalous amount of money and gave him the bag with the food to see for himself. The food is taken out and "thrown" into the containers on the bar, after which he looks at it and asks what the problem is. So I explained it again, and in the meantime 4 people from the kitchen (including I think the cook) have joined us. After some talking (in Greek of course) and some ugly looks in our direction, the cash register is raided and the money is placed on the bar in front of me without another word exchanged!? We took the money and left, but we will never enter here again and we will never order anything again!!! What a shameful treatment of customers and the food has really become a mockery!!!

Via hun eigen site eten besteld. Hadden dit wel vaker gedaan, wat toen goed bevallen was. Deze keer iets na 18.00 uur besteld om te bezorgen om 19.00 uur. 19.15 nog niemand gezien, dus gebeld om na te vragen waar onze bestelling bleef. Kregen het standaard bezorgers antwoord: die is net onderweg. Uiteindelijk werd het bestelde eten om 19.30 bezorgd, met excuses want het was druk in de zaak met afhalen en mensen die in het restaurant zouden eten. 1 portie lamshaas, 2 keftedes en een bakje rijst. Schade ruim 62 euro. Goed dat is niet erg, als het lekker en goed eten is. Binnen gekomen gaan we uitpakken, bakje rijst: prima, 2 keftedes: kleine gehaltballetjes en wat weinig saus maar vooruit nog acceptabel, de lamshaas: een klein zakje koude, slappe friet en 3 mini stukjes lamshaas. Bijna 34 euro betalen voor 3 hele kleine stukjes vlees ging ons echt te ver. Mijn man belde ze netjes terug op, er werd opgenomen en toen de man aan de telefoon door had om welke bestelling het ging was er niet meer tussen te komen er werd er alleen maar gerateld over de bezorgtijd (waar we totaal niet voor belde natuurlijk), ik hoor mijn man een aantal keer zeggen dat het niet om de bezorgtijd gaat, maar de man blijft aan 1 stuk door doorratelen over de bezorgtijden. Ondertussen liep mijn boosheid steeds verder op en heb ik de stukjes vlees gewogen, de 3 stukjes lamshaas waar we bijna 34 euro voor kwijt waren wogen bij elkaar 123 gram!!?? Mijn man kwam ondertussen nog steeds niet tussen het verhaal van de manager heen, dus heb ik de telefoon overgepakt en na een goede gil werd meneer zijn verhaal onderbroken waardoor ik hem kon zeggen dat de bezorgtijden het probleem niet waren maar dat we 34 euro voor 123 gram vlees wel schandalig vinden. Als antwoord kreeg ik letterlijk: ja en wat kan ik daar aan doen, bestel je volgende keer maar iets anders! Euh nou nee dat gaan we zo niet doen, ik heb nu besteld, nu betaald dus ik zou dit graag nu oplossen. Ik stel voor dat er of wel een normale portie lamshaas geregeld wordt, of dat ik (een deel) van mijn geld terug krijg, omdat ik echt niet zoveel geld voor zo weinig vlees ga betalen. Als antwoord kreeg ik: ja wij kunnen er niks aan doen.... tuut tuut tuut... opgehangen.... Als ik ergens niet tegen kan is als er op zulke momenten gewoon wordt opgehangen en daarmee alles maar afgedaan moet zijn... dus ik alles weer ingepakt en in de auto gestapt op weg naar Thalassa... Bij aankomst zien we aan 1 tafeltje mensen zitten om te eten (de rest was of heel snel weg of het was een mooi smoesje denk ik dan). Bij binnenkomst staat er gelijk een horde aan personeel op ons te wachten, als ik netjes vraag wie ik net aan de telefoon had snellen er 3 man richting de keuken. Vervolgens vraagt de manager die achter de bar bleef staan wel wat het probleem was. Dus ik hem uitgelegd dat ik 34 euro voor 123 gram vlees wel erg schandalig veel geld vind en geef hem het tasje met het eten om zelf te kijken. Het eten wordt eruit gehaald en in de bakjes op de bar "gegooid", waarna hij het bekijkt en vraagt wat dan het probleem is. Dus nog maar eens uitgelegd, waarbij er ondertussen 4 personen uit de keuken (waaronder denk ik de kok) erbij zijn komen staan. Na wat onderling gepraat (uiteraard in het Grieks) en wat lelijke blikken onze kant op, wordt er een graai in de kassa gedaan en krijg ik het geld voor mn neus op de bar gelegd zonder verder enig woord meer te wisselen!? We hebben het geld meegenomen en zijn vertrokken, maar hier gaan we nooit meer naar binnen en wordt door ons nooit meer iets besteld!!! Wat een schandalige behandeling van klanten en het eten is echt een aanfluiting geworden!!!

We ordered via Thuisbezorgd last Sunday. We did this more often.. The prices have increased by 5 euros in 2 months per dish that we ordered. For 3 people we paid 90 euros and the food was just cold, I had to heat up my gyros dish in the microwave. Really outrageous! And a bag of fries for 3 people! Sorry but this is ridiculous

No idea what's going on here. 54 euros for 2 people. A mousaka and mixed grill. Mixed grill was ridiculously little. Tenderloin was not tenderloin but just steak. I have never posted a bad review. But now I'm making an exception. Waste of money and never again!!!!!

Had dinner here last night, and it really was one big party from start to finish. The meat was of top quality, staff very friendly. Normally we always go to Mythos, but that is now a thing of the past. Rarely have you eaten so well. Thank you!!

Waren bij alle Griekse restaurants langs gelopen, omdat wij niet uit Roosendaal komen. Onderweg vroeg een vriendelijke dame op de fiets of zij ons kon helpen. Dus wij vroegen naar welk Grieks restaurant zij zou gaan. Zodoende kwamen wij bij het prachtige Thallassa terecht. Heel erg mooi restaurant, allemaal ontzettend vriendelijk en héérlijk eten. Totaal géén spijt dat wij hier naar binnen zijn gegaan. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug. Wat hebben wij een fijne avond gehad!

We spontaneously stopped here for dinner on Monday. It's great that you were open. A young team served us very attentively, we felt we were being looked after excellently at all times. For food, we had bifteki and souvlaki, the quality of the meat was really wonderful, wonderfully seasoned and the portion was appropriate, fries were very fresh, rice was also great - in short it was very, very good and the red wine was also great. I normally find Greek dishes very tasty in Greece, but in the Netherlands it is often a little less so. Why? If the owner pretends to be Greek? Why music (not Greek) with heavy bass? Atmospheric lighting with LED lights? Quality has deteriorated sharply, while prices have risen. In one word: Pity!

Groot Grieks restaurant waar op de zaterdagavond in september, die we elk jaar daar eten, altijd plek is zonder gereserveerd te hebben. Ouzo van het huis, lekker Grieks eten en vriendelijk personeel. Het zijn flinke porties en in de meeste gevallen nemen we wat over is mee. Wat wil een mens nog meer!

Once again a very tasty meal. If you don't expect, like the review below, that you will get a 3 Michelin star meal in a Greek restaurant, it is simply fantastic food. If you want to share main courses, you really shouldn't go out to eat. And certainly not to destroy it with your review. I think they didn't want to spend more than 50 euros with 3 people, so go to the chip shop next time. staff is more than fine, atmosphere is Greek as you expect. It is not without reason that the restaurant has been rewarded several times.

Ich habe dort zweimal zu Abend gegessen. 1x Gyros und 1x Gyros mit Souflaki. Es gab Reis und frische knusprige Kartoffeln dazu. Alles sehr appetitlich und ein aufmerksamer Service. Ich kann das Lokal bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Laut Werbung ist es das zweitbeste Griechische Restaurant in Holland. Ich denke das entspricht der Wahrheit.

Last time at Thalassa was a few years ago and it was fine. Now, April 12, 2024, we were back... When we walked in we immediately noticed the Greek Barbie sitting on the terrace. Apparently this was the hostess who only had eyes for that one table with acquaintances and the other table with only men. We thought we had entered ICI Paris, but fortunately that was only the predominant perfume of Barbie. Unfortunately, we no longer smoke good food at all. One of the starters, see attached photo, was shrimp in tomato sauce with feta for EUR. 14.90. We wanted to share the starters. We are not very good at math, so the fact that we only got 3 shrimp made it easier to share fairly since there were three of us! A second starter was kefte in tomato sauce, see photo. We imagined ourselves in a trucker cafe for gnomes with these meatballs in gravy. Tomatoes are expensive so we had to think of adding them to the sauce. Still a shame for EUR. 8.50. In addition to Barbie, there was an older man as a host who had to direct the abundant waiting staff, but he had left the steering wheel at home. Waiting staff has no idea what to do. Trying to involve guests in serving by passing plates to guests across the table, only clearing tables when main courses arrive, walking between spaces between chairs that are not there and bumping or knocking things over, putting a wine cooler on the table and the wine on the side and I could go on and on. My wife was really looking forward to trying the moussaka, but it was even less good than the Lidl factory version. Let's hope this isn't a traditional family recipe of theirs. I took the traditional gyros gratine with metaxa pepper sauce. After just one bite I had my weekly portion of salt. Furthermore, it was very greasy and I think the chef had drunk the metaxa himself because it was not in my dish. My imagination was called upon even more because the peppers were also missing. The third dish was suflaki with gyros. What could you possibly mess up with that, you might think... The suflaki consisted of square brown cubes of undefined meat. The first morsel of suflaki that landed in the mouth had to swirl there for at least 10 minutes before it could be safely washed down with a few large gulps of wine. The cook had forgotten that the gyros had to be served warm and not thrown straight from the refrigerator onto the plate. So I sent the plate back. The same sign came back within 3 minutes, because we missed that one square block! Now we missed the rice and tatziki because of course they couldn't go in the microwave. The chef had not thought that heating meat in the microwave would lead to even more toughness. Even with a knife there was no way through. Then gave it back. We got 1 bag of fries for 3 people. A bit little, but since these looked more like tough Greek tasteless churros, it turned out to be more than enough.. Then the chef came and suggested we make something else, but by now our confidence had dropped below the temperature of the gyros on the first plate. Don't know if there is a new chef, but it was clear that the younger generation is in charge. Not here for us anymore. Since that one unlucky person only had 1 shrimp, 1 ball and 1 bite of tough meat, we made something delicious with flavor at home.

Yesterday I had a traditional dinner with my very elderly parents during Carnival, like every year at this Greek restaurant. They did not show the hospitality of starting with an ouzo during Carnival. Finally, after insisting, I received ouzoo in paper mini cups, I think 2 cl. The beers are also served in very small, flimsy plastic cups for €3.90 Expensive dishes and a choice of 6 main courses, 1 vegetarian, 1 pasta dish. The salmon I ordered, consisting of 2 pieces, cost €29.90!!, 1 piece was tasty, the other piece was much too dry. Add 1 scoop of rice. Very scanty. 2 bags of fries with mayonnaise in plastic bags on the table for 7 people and pay separately. Coffee afterwards again in paper cups. No sugar or milk, let alone a cookie. Also my father's drink in a paper mini cup. Very expensive bill. The owner and another man look like a grumpy bouncer. Really bad and the last time we came to eat here

What a great restaurant/food bar. The owner is a very unfriendly jerk During carnival they are €10 more expensive than other comparable restaurants. And the service is really that bad. And if you come as a single person, they want to put you at the back of the store. Today was the last straw for us, we will never come here again.

Bad. Everything was cold. Portion of fries far too little. Ordered a mix grill...it didn't even come with a salad. They are rapidly deteriorating and they are not that cheap. So I'm done with them. From now on it will be restaurant Olympia, they are a lot better

Excellent Greek restaurant. The food is good, but the meat could be a bit warmer here and there (mixed grill). The choice is wide. The portions are good, not too big by Greek standards. The service is very attentive, fast, friendly and cheerful. The coffee and desserts are excellent. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is quite large. However, the surroundings and atmosphere are good. It certainly feels Greek. The tables are well spaced and that is nice. The music is appropriate and fortunately not constantly folkloric. You can park nearby, although it may take some time to find a spot.

Het was echt niet lekker en als kers op de taart moest ik betalen voor het water. Ik wilde kraan water bij de wijn. De vroegen spa blauw, ik zei kraanwater en vervolgens moest ik er voor betalen. Het vlees was rauw en toch best prijzig. Geen aanrader.

Top restaurant met heerlijk eten.

Thalassa in Roosendaal is een voorbeeld voor de hele omgeving. Zeker met het compleet vernieuwde interieur en toiletten. Buitengewoon bijzonder, genieten van de ECHTE Griekse keuken. Absoluut meer dan een restaurant, een echte beleving, ervaar de gastvrijheid, de sfeer, het bijzondere interieur, de ambiance. De bediening is vriendelijk, alert, attent en vlot. Ontelbare wijn en biersoorten zelfs van de tap. Voortreffelijke menu's en, van een zeer hoge kwaliteit. Zeldzaam goed. Sommige gasten hebben wat te vieren. Dit zorgt voor een ambiance wat ikzelf waardeer. Prijs - kwaliteitsverhouding = PERFECT!

Helaas was het eten al koud toen het werd bezorgd. Tegenwoordig zit er ook geen salade bij een schotel, ik vind 23,50 euro dan wel veel geld.

Ga hier niet eten!!!! er zijn wel betere Griekse Restaurants. Ten eerste eten wordt rauw opgediend. Na 2 minuten is de bestelling al klaar. Vast opgewarmd in magnetron. En ik ben ook niet te spreken over de manager. Brutaal en totaal niet klantvriendelijk. Hij heeft geen respect voor de klant en vind dat ie zelf altijd gelijk heb. Een vreselijke man. Zo,n man hoort geen manager te zijn. Heb het te doen met het personeel die hier werkt. Die doen hun uiterste best.

Ga hier niet heen!!! Eten word opgewarmd in magnetron is nog rauw staat binnen 2 min op tafel Manager scheld je gewoon uit en ook z'n personeel die wel hard werkt en probeerd t naar je zin te maken die vent verpest heel het restaurant zo ga je niet met klanten om en je scheld ze zeker niet uit!!! Hoor veel mensen klagen over wat je noemt de manager maar het is niet meer dan een triest mannetje met een brutale mond maar niet meer tegen ons ! Laten ons niet zo behandelen

Het bezorgde eten was lekker maar niet erg warm. Opwarmen in de magnetron was nodig. Porties niet heel groot en er zitten geen bakjes salade bij zoals gebruikelijk is.

Gezellige plek met prima eten en prettige bediening. Een restaurant om zeker vaker te komen.

Erg lekker eten hier, ik had een 3 gangen menu besteld (zie foto's) smaakte allemaal top. Tevens: ik weet niet wat er hier onder over kleine porties gesproken wordt maar zo weinig was dat echt niet. Zie ook foto's. Het is niet zo'n ultra mega portie zoals je bij sommige Grieken krijgt maar klein was ie ook niet

Gisteren weer een heel gezellige avond gehad bij Restaurant Thalassa wat een service en gezelligheid we waren er nu voor de tweede keer dit keer ivm mijn pensioen ze doen werkelijk alles om het je naar de zin te maken zo lief betrokken personeel en heerlijk eten het is echt ons favoriete Restaurant gr van Marianne en Peter Nefs

Goed gegrild vlees. Geen groenten, zelfs geen salade. Misschien moet je dat er apart bij bestellen. Dat is ons ontgaan.
