Istanblue in Wijk 02 Noordwest

It was really not tasty. We ordered a doner and it was just lard and vegetables. The meat smelled weird and there was no sauce. It was inside but it wasn't tasty.

I have always had good experiences until today. The delivery person kept me waiting for a long time, showed up at the wrong house, and I was approached disrespectfully over the phone asking if I would open the door. There was no one there, and they didn't believe me. They suddenly hung up, and when I tried to call back, no one answered.

Always friendly to my family, always a pleasant conversation.

I ordered two chicken kapsalons without onions and without cheese. Unfortunately, both arrived cold. I even found pieces of onion in the outer bag, and there was cheese stuck around the edges of the tray despite my request. One of the kapsalons was also prepared incorrectly - the fries were placed on top instead of underneath, and there was barely any chicken. It was mostly fries, and honestly it felt like an old order had been reheated and reused. I usually order from this place and the food is normally good, but this time the experience was very disappointing.

If you're a woman, steer clear of this place. I've been there with my boyfriend, and while I was submitting our order, they never once spoke to me and didn't even look at me at all, as if I wasn't there. They did look at my boyfriend, which was also awkward to him, as I was the one speaking. They made our order, but basically pretended we're not there and didn't interact, even during payment. It was creepy as hell.

The food at Istanblue is always super delicious! Everything is fresh and of top quality. Highly recommended!

I ordered from this shop and clearly stated that I am a traffic controller, so it is logical that I do not have a fork. I received 2 kapsalons with cold fries without forks. When I called, I was told that I would not receive forks.

I've been here a few times now, each time it's a different experience. Sometimes the fries and snacks are excellent, and other times they taste like old fat or the fries are limp. Staff is friendly but sometimes a bit chaotic. And there are often young people hanging out in front of the door, with or without a scooter. You have to walk through there to enter the shop, which doesn't feel very pleasant. The business is open late, and you notice that the staff are hard workers.

The restaurant offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The quality of the food was excellent, and we enjoyed the atmosphere while we ate.

You may need to go to the toilet 5 minutes after eating…

Whenever I wanted food from outside, I ordered from here. I recently called to ask if the salami was halal. I usually order seafood pizza. The employee who answered later found out that he was new, there was really no respect. He said you have to have a drink, otherwise this won't come with a pizza that he doesn't feel like having. Finally when I said that I would order more often, he finally came to the door with difficulty, not nice either, he started pulling money out of my hand, well after all this I didn't feel like the pizza anymore to be honest😳😔I think I'm completely traumatized that I won't be ordering there anymore, so I'll just look for a new restaurant

The delivery is always on time and friendly. Pizzas are clearly fresh and warm. Richly topped and good in taste. Just a bit salty, so that's why 4 stars instead of 5.

Great place for a hair salon or pizza. The prices are good and you can eat there with quite a few people. Staff is also friendly and neat. My kapsalon chicken fillet is highly recommended, the chicken is well seasoned. The food from the guys I was with was also good (pizza and Turkish pizza).

Good quality food, we had two durum doners and the taste is good! Extra compliments for the service, after we did not hear the doorbell, they came back at a later time to deliver the order again. It was still warm, which makes me think they made a new batch.

The food is okay. Ordered here. Indication time was 20-30 minutes. After 60 minutes we called to ask where the food was. The answer was very busy. When I asked if it would be better if they could adjust the indication time, the answer was that they are too busy for that... Finally received food after 90 minutes.

I love this place. I lived 1 year in Utrecht, Zuilen and almost every week I ate chicken Durums or kapsalon and when I wanted pizza that didn't go down heavy I asked for their pizzas. Very good food, good prices and it arrives quickly. Recommended!

Besides the fact that the food came pretty quickly, think a good 2 games of Mario Kart. The food was nothing to write home about, quite salty and not very tasty. After I had tilted the Turkish pizza with döner, I had a very tough half hour because my gastrointestinal system could not agree with that pizza. I was actually closer to crying than laughing. The hair salon was better than the rest, so that's why I gave it 2 stars. Also received a free bowl of garlic sauce. How delicious is that

Most of the time I never get saus from them even though I mention it in my online order. I recommend to not to pay anything for extra, because you won't get it anyway. Also I found, small sharp plastic pieces in my pizza, really bad in handling food.

It is always busy at Istanblue, especially with online orders, but certainly also in the store itself. But your order is taken quickly and almost always made quickly. The employees are actually always in a cheerful mood! I always receive very nice help and the food is delicious and well prepared! In any case, I haven't had any complaints in all the years I've been going there (since they opened)!! They have a simple app "Istanblue Utrecht" and when I can't get it myself, I order via their app or website and it is delivered quickly!

Ordered Chicken Shawarma again today. Delivered quickly, hot, but the chicken now consisted of cooked cubes with a flavor, and the fries were limp and not fully cooked. Very sorry. Bezorger was 30 minuten te laat. Patat was echt niet lekker, heel slap. Alsof je karton eet. Broodjes waren taai, had geen speeksel meer om het weg te krijgen. Kaassouffle was letterlijk taai en zat geen kaas in. Bakjes van de patat waren half kapot. Positief dingetje: satesaus was lekker. Al met al: wij hebben niet zo lekker gegeten.
