Cool place, close to the olympic stadium

One of the worst experiences in Amsterdam, a city which certainly doesn’t excel in restaurant services. Food was not tasty, it came extremely slow (25’ for reheated soup!), staff was way too young, lacked experience and common sense. All the other restaurants and cafea in the area are far superior. Never coming here again.

Just a nice place for a big couple. The prices are medium. The variety of alcohol and food is good. The only disadvantage was that I asked for a separate menu while we had 2 of them for 10 people and the waitress didn't bring it. But I think that a common way of service in the Netherlands 🫡

Great place, lovely large terrace inside, cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly but forgetful. The food quality has declined in recent years and is especially overpriced! These are restaurant prices, while it's truly pub-style. It doesn't exceed them in any way. A small veggie burger with a mini ini bun, sparsely filled, and no fries or vegetables on the side, still cost €18! Sides cost between €6 and €8, with bread and three small boxes for €8... The risotto seemed to consist of regular rice grains soaked in broth with saffron, and we think butter added. With a few whole asparagus draped over it. A strange dish. The wine selection is limited. In short, a nice place to catch up, but unfortunately not for... A quick, simple bite to eat. Simply way too expensive for what it is.

Yet another time, no one comes to take our drink and food orders. I politely asked through the window on the patio if we could have a drink. Three staff members were chatting happily behind the bar, before moving on to clean the tables. Incidentally, only one table on the entire patio was occupied. Incomprehensible. After 5 minutes, still no answer, so we left and went to the neighbors. Luckily, we received a very friendly welcome there.

Nice and cozy terrace. Friendly service and delicious drinks. We sat comfortably under the umbrella. We didn't eat there.

The people who work there are nice, but unfortunately it was way too expensive for the waiting time and what we got. The tomato soup (7.50€) was nice, but I think a burger should always come with a side, but you have to buy that extra.

Pretty average lunch. Service was ok. 18 euro burger does not come with fries or a salad.

We had the ribeye. A side of fries with truffle mayo. The karaage chicken. And the bouillabaisse. And everything was great! The bouillabaisse could have been a bit more thickened, but it was richly filled. Staff super chill and friendly

The food is good, but the service is extremely slow. The guy with the slicked-back blonde hair is so slow it feels like he's doing it on purpose or he knows the waitress is going to take over anyway.

Surprisingly delicious food at this cozy neighborhood restaurant. Nice service who were clearly very busy, so things did not always run smoothly, but with a nice sunny terrace. Worth repeating for us! We sat outside, so can't say anything about the indoor location.

Jack Dish, what a cozy spot near the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. One place where people keep coming back. A pearl of Amsterdam for young and old. We will go there again soon!

Very noisy restaurant. Unfortunately I can't judge the food because we sat there for half an hour and were then told that the launch card was no longer valid. We should wait another 10 minutes for the next card. On the next menu was the evening menu after we had chosen, man told us, unfortunately at this time there are only small things. Because the children's screaming next to us was so loud and we didn't feel like it anymore, we left and paid for our expensive drinks

Next to us a table with 3 boys and a girl. Already a bit up, and talking so loudly that we couldn't hear each other. A boy comes and sits at our table without being asked. They keep getting beer until they're drunk, bawling, spitting. Then I get some more pats on my head with comments about being bald. Turns out my 70 euro cap has disappeared. Another person threw up in the toilet and sitting in a restaurant at 7 o'clock felt like I was in a pub at 4 o'clock in the morning. You can also check whether everything in your business is running as you wish. Or everything should be possible... That is also possible. Not for me anymore.

Usually super crowded and loud (all good). Great service and delicious bar snacks. Never tried the main dishes but they look good from afar. Lots of outdoor seating and fine in the rain with the cover if you want the full Dutch experience.

Delicious avocado sandwich. Had a surprise that was unfortunately revealed by the wait staff, but they had no way of knowing. Unfortunately, the cold outside could be felt inside, but otherwise a great place, good food and not expensive.

Went for a beer with 2 people at 9:15 PM on Wednesday, November 13. Second order was forgotten by the waitress. At 10:35pm we were told it would be the last lap as it was quiet. We got outside at 11:10 PM and went to another pub. To my surprise, at 12:30 am I see the staff of Jack Dish drinking at the bar....while the customers had to leave. Bad service!

Sharp mustard with the sausage. Benches outside are riveted and close together.

Substandard service. Tables are not cleared, causing pigeons to eat leftover food on the tables. You have to wait a long time before you can place an order, the staff doesn't notice you. The wine is nice.

A big disappointment for a Sunday afternoon. Probably due to inexperienced and/or shortage of staff. Long wait, wrong order twice, and curt. Next time we will walk past this.

Came here for lunch, quick and friendly service. The burger was pretty good, but salmon salad wasn’t tasty, especially the dressing. Overall nice place. They have few board games and a wooden puzzle which entertained my little one for a few minutes)

I ordered a HOT beverage, and I had to change it twice because it was warm-ish. Food never arrived after 1 hour waiting! Awful experience 😖 Please, if it is crowded or you are under staff, just don't open the terrace. Don't play with our time and money.

The staff was kind, but not really service oriented (e.g. ordered soup, got no spoons, only one napkin while we were with two etc.). The food itself was nicely presented, but I personally thought it was a bit bland, though i did really like the beef tartare. Truffle mayonnaise didn't taste like Truffle at all.

Net als bijna overal in de horeca gebrek aan personeel maar wat er staat doet dan toch weer zijn stinkende best om het je naar de zin te maken. De keuken is ook boven verwachting dus een fijne vooravond gehad :)

Hele leuke plek om te eten. Hangt een hele fijne sfeer en de bediening helpt je prima. Het eten is OK. Je hoeft er niet voor om te rijden, maar als je in de buurt bent zou ik zeker langsgaan.

Onplezierig, als naast de stoeprand,waar je tafel staat, auto's parkeren én de motor laten draaien.

Lieu très agréable et personnel d’une sympathie adorable que ce sois a l’accueil ou au service. Le repas (burger pour ma part) étais tout simplement divin! Un pure régal qui ne vous laisse pas sur la faim. L’endroit est agréable et cosy, dans une ambiance tamisée. Super découverte durant un city trip que je vous recommande.

Such a great place to catch up with friends! Was lovely that they wrote my name on a cute chalkboard for the reservation. The service was absolutely on point! Yummy food and very accommodating! Highly recommend and will go back.
