Ridiculous prices for bottles of cheap apple juice, sparkling water, and a small tub of ketchup: 3.95, 3.75, and 1.50. Waiting staff pushy, coming to the table at least 4 times to ask if we wanted more drinks; now we understand that. Don't just order anymore, ask for the drinks menu!!!

An excellent restaurant to enjoy not only hamburgers, but also exquisite and juicy cuts of grilled meat. The salads, potatoes, applesauce, and accompanying sauces are perfectly prepared and delicious. A pleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in, all the staff are incredibly friendly, and the decor is amazing. Highly recommended for going with friends or family. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, not only in terms of quantity, but especially in terms of quality. Congratulations!

This has to be the best steakhouse in the area. Amazing ribs and burgers too. The service matches the food. No wonder they are always fully booked.

Excellent spare ribs, which you can order in unlimited quantities. They always come with tons of extras, so much so you can't finish them. The staff is always friendly, too.

The food is very tasty and the portions are (sufficiently) large. Even if you are not a big fan of meat, there is plenty of choice. High chairs are available and there is variety on the children's menus. There is no play area for children.

We made a last-minute reservation and managed to get a spot for 4 people. Tasty food, nicely decorated restaurant, and friendly service. We had the calamari and shrimp as starters, with ribs and wings and a 200g ribeye as the main course. Mushrooms were included as well. Four stars instead of 5; the spicy ribs weren't that spicy (the chili pepper with the ribeye made it spicier and tasty), the wings were tasty and seasoned more spicy than the ribs. The ribeye was very lukewarm/not warm/hot, making it less tasty but tender. Our table companions had unlimited spare ribs and enjoyed them. I was surprised that it really was unlimited. They had 3 rounds. For dessert, we had the baklava and the fruit coupe. The benches we sat on were hard. A few of us had sore bottoms. Hence the 4 stars for atmosphere.

Wow. Every bite was pure enjoyment. Such good meat, service... Definitely my number 1!! All you can eat, everything mixed together... and dessert... American-style sorbet. Delicious...

We ate very tasty tournedos here, after having lived in Nieuwegein for 7 years already. Tasty beers that are also affordable. There was even security in the parking lot. Service excellent! We will be back soon!

We ate here a while ago. We drove past on a whim after a day at Efteling and luckily there was still a spot available. Prompt and very friendly, helpful service, truly top-notch. We had a delicious meal and drinks, with very nicely presented cocktails and a good wine, recommended by the staff. The steak with onion and mushrooms and the calamari rings were cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, with plenty of side dishes and sides. At the end of the evening, the staff were also very helpful with packing up the leftover food, which we really appreciated. All in all, a successful evening. 👍 Compliments!

Very unique place in so many ways! First, there is a sign that says there is no Wi-Fi, and people should talk to each other. Second, there is an exhibition of a lot of objects, related to movies, music groups, sports, old items and so on. Third, food is delicious, and prices are reasonable. Especially the "All you can eat" option for like 30 euros. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience something unique and also eat well!

I walked into this place today with great enthusiasm, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The meat is of mediocre quality, resulting in dry pieces, even when cooked medium/rare (steak and pork medallions). Crispy chicken wings are not crispy, but have a soft crust. The sauces are made from sachets and packets, mixed with French fry sauce. I was even supposed to stir the sauces thoroughly myself, but this wasn't done (think of dip packets you can buy in the supermarket). When I reported all this, the comment that stuck with me most was, "What are you so upset about?" Well, because I'm spending money here and it's just not okay. Nothing was done about this complaint. Even when my partner reacted negatively to the question at checkout if he enjoyed it, the response he got was, "Oh, we never hear that." But there's no sign that they care at all that guests leave here dissatisfied. So, never again for us!

We’ve dined here twice in the past week whilst on holiday from Australia. They have been kind enough to find us a table on both occasions despite being fully booked. The service has been friendly and efficient. The food is quality and possibly the best burger we’ve tasted. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection and the knife slid through like butter. I’d highly recommend Jack’s Grillhouse but if possible book ahead, as they do get busy.

A group of four dined here. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which was perfectly manageable. The service was incredibly fast and very polite. We didn't dry out, as they regularly came by to ask if everything was to our liking. The interior is incredibly cozy. You wouldn't expect it at all in that neighborhood. Apparently, it's not a great neighborhood, though, as the parking lot is guarded by an employee of Jack's Grillhouse. All in all, we spent €200.00 (including dessert and tip), which was more than enough for four adults to eat and drink. Compared to other restaurants, very reasonable. It's not the best food I've ever had, but the atmosphere and service, in relation to the price, still earn it 5 stars.

We called the same day, a few hours beforehand. The man on the phone seemed rushed, but we received a very friendly welcome. We chose the All You Can Eat menu, which allowed us to order two plates of meat/vegetables with fries and delicious sauces per round. They checked in regularly, and we were left wanting for nothing. Delicious meat, plenty of choice. Nice decor, plenty of privacy. I definitely recommend this restaurant; it's well-located, and parking is easy.

Definitely the best meat we had for a long time. Difficult to get a reservation but well worth it. Cowboysteak is especially five stars. Parking is also a big plus.

We dined here last night, and the atmosphere was truly fantastic. Everything is decorated in the style that perfectly reflects Jack's Grillhouse. I arrived a little early for my reservation, but that wasn't a problem at all. I was seated right away and was offered a drink while I waited for my companions. Once everyone was there, someone came over to take drink orders for everyone else. After looking at the menu, someone was there in no time to take our orders. They really think along with you. The staff regularly checks if everything is to your liking, and the food is simply good and delicious. You can tell they really know what they're doing here. The Belgian waffle for dessert wasn't quite right. They immediately addressed this: we were given the option of something else, and without even asking, the waffle was removed from the bill. Now that's what I call service. Furthermore, the prices are still affordable, and the value for money is excellent. In fact, the price actually lags behind the quality. I've been coming here for several years, and I'll definitely keep going.

We've been here several times with work (always with a large group), and it always went really well. That's why we wanted to organize a family dinner at Jack's Grillhouse this time. Unfortunately, we were rudely and arrogantly turned down when we made a reservation. There was still room, but we got the feeling they simply weren't interested in a larger group. We found that very disappointing, especially since we always enjoyed coming here.

*Disappointing experience – plenty of space, but no service* We came in spontaneously for a quick bite, without a reservation. We were immediately told: “No place, everything is full.” In itself fine, but what was special: both inside and outside, quite a few tables remained empty in the hour and a half that we were there. We did not ask for an extensive dinner, just something small, but apparently that is too much to ask if you have not made a reservation — even if half the place is empty. As an alternative, a snack platter was offered that we could order, but that felt more like a band-aid than real hospitality. Too bad, because the first contact determines the atmosphere. And this especially felt like we were not welcome.

Coincidentally in Zeist, and was looking for a place to eat and travel on. 20.25 registered. we were told sorry, the kitchen is already closed (while food was being served from the kitchen at that moment). That's possible, that the last orders of the day had already been taken. In the car I went to look at the opening hours etc. It clearly says "we accept new tables until 20:30." But unfortunately.. Not seen me again

If you book in April for June, they make a mistake with the date. You are also spoken to rudely. And you have to figure it out yourself, because it is never their fault, they just say. You do not get any confirmation, nothing, so maybe you should just work with that. Old-fashioned company with only calling.

If you like good food, not expensive and also more than you can actually eat, then go here. Nice terrace located on the water and park. Reservations are wise.

Super nice restaurant, nice service and above all very tasty food. The atmosphere of a cozy rock cafe combined with great music in the background was really a highlight. The portions were large and the food cheaper compared to other restaurants. If we had not been on holiday, we would certainly have eaten here several times. All in all, Jack's Grillhouse gets a big 10! 🤩
