The food was incredibly delicious (especially the steaks). The service was super friendly and she also speaks German.

A very original concept, something different. Therefore, reservations are essential. Perfect for BBQ fans like my husband. Vegetarians are also catered for with a selection of side dishes and vegetables.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The food was very tasty and well prepared, with rich flavors and high quality. Portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable considering the quantity and quality you get. Everything we ordered was great, and the overall value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again.

The food was otherwise okay and fine. The first round took a very long time to arrive. We had the all-you-can-eat meat platter. It was tasty, but not particularly good for a steakhouse.

A group of four dined here. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which was perfectly manageable. The service was incredibly fast and very polite. We didn't dry out, as they regularly came by to ask if everything was to our liking. The interior is incredibly cozy. You wouldn't expect it at all in that neighborhood. Apparently, it's not a great neighborhood, though, as the parking lot is guarded by an employee of Jack's Grillhouse. All in all, we spent €200.00 (including dessert and tip), which was more than enough for four adults to eat and drink. Compared to other restaurants, very reasonable. It's not the best food I've ever had, but the atmosphere and service, in relation to the price, still earn it 5 stars.

We called the same day, a few hours beforehand. The man on the phone seemed rushed, but we received a very friendly welcome. We chose the All You Can Eat menu, which allowed us to order two plates of meat/vegetables with fries and delicious sauces per round. They checked in regularly, and we were left wanting for nothing. Delicious meat, plenty of choice. Nice decor, plenty of privacy. I definitely recommend this restaurant; it's well-located, and parking is easy.

The portions are generous, the flavor is excellent, and you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. Delicious food, good menu, nice service and good value for money.

Definitely the best meat we had for a long time. Difficult to get a reservation but well worth it. Cowboysteak is especially five stars. Parking is also a big plus.

We dined here last night, and the atmosphere was truly fantastic. Everything is decorated in the style that perfectly reflects Jack's Grillhouse. I arrived a little early for my reservation, but that wasn't a problem at all. I was seated right away and was offered a drink while I waited for my companions. Once everyone was there, someone came over to take drink orders for everyone else. After looking at the menu, someone was there in no time to take our orders. They really think along with you. The staff regularly checks if everything is to your liking, and the food is simply good and delicious. You can tell they really know what they're doing here. The Belgian waffle for dessert wasn't quite right. They immediately addressed this: we were given the option of something else, and without even asking, the waffle was removed from the bill. Now that's what I call service. Furthermore, the prices are still affordable, and the value for money is excellent. In fact, the price actually lags behind the quality. I've been coming here for several years, and I'll definitely keep going.

Don't book a table after 4:00 PM! We were told the chef would be eating dinner himself. Maybe mention it somewhere on the website?

We had a delicious meal, as usual. The only downside was the service, which was absolutely overkill last time. Every few minutes, someone came to our table to ask if everything was to our liking. It got a bit annoying at some point; we barely had a chance to enjoy the food in peace. Otherwise, everything was fantastic again!

We've been here several times with work (always with a large group), and it always went really well. That's why we wanted to organize a family dinner at Jack's Grillhouse this time. Unfortunately, we were rudely and arrogantly turned down when we made a reservation. There was still room, but we got the feeling they simply weren't interested in a larger group. We found that very disappointing, especially since we always enjoyed coming here.

Cozy place, friendly staff, delicious food. Reservations are essential because it's always busy! Unless you want to eat after 8 PM, it's usually no problem.

*Disappointing experience – plenty of space, but no service* We came in spontaneously for a quick bite, without a reservation. We were immediately told: “No place, everything is full.” In itself fine, but what was special: both inside and outside, quite a few tables remained empty in the hour and a half that we were there. We did not ask for an extensive dinner, just something small, but apparently that is too much to ask if you have not made a reservation — even if half the place is empty. As an alternative, a snack platter was offered that we could order, but that felt more like a band-aid than real hospitality. Too bad, because the first contact determines the atmosphere. And this especially felt like we were not welcome.

Coincidentally in Zeist, and was looking for a place to eat and travel on. 20.25 registered. we were told sorry, the kitchen is already closed (while food was being served from the kitchen at that moment). That's possible, that the last orders of the day had already been taken. In the car I went to look at the opening hours etc. It clearly says "we accept new tables until 20:30." But unfortunately.. Not seen me again

If you book in April for June, they make a mistake with the date. You are also spoken to rudely. And you have to figure it out yourself, because it is never their fault, they just say. You do not get any confirmation, nothing, so maybe you should just work with that. Old-fashioned company with only calling.

Super nice restaurant, nice service and above all very tasty food. The atmosphere of a cozy rock cafe combined with great music in the background was really a highlight. The portions were large and the food cheaper compared to other restaurants. If we had not been on holiday, we would certainly have eaten here several times. All in all, Jack's Grillhouse gets a big 10! 🤩

You have to book in advance, by telephone, because they like personal contact. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy with lots of guitars on the beams, posters on the wall and even a classic VW bus in the interior. The service was very friendly and everything went smoothly. Best burger I ever had in NL tbh. We live 2 hours away and came by on our way to friends one day - made a 40 minute detour just for the burger this time. Still worth it!

Found it disappointing. Service was crap. We were 8 people. All you can eat waited fifteen minutes before they came to take the order and then another fifteen minutes before the second round was brought. We were all done with it. Pay and leave... Unfortunately no repeat for us.

This was really the last time I would eat here. They will come and ask you for the first round of drinks, raise your finger for the rest of the evening or walk to the bar yourself. There was a hair between the fries and the hamburger, she indicated this and asked what kind of hair it was and what it looked like 🤨 had no compensation. We stay away.

It's absolutely fine to sit on a terrace and eat some tacos. Coming to dinner with five people for a birthday, not such a good idea. Entering and placing orders is chaotic and afterwards there is a lack of overview. The food is okay, not everything is equally tasty or well prepared. Shame about this experience.

Gedineerd bij Jack's Grillhouse. De inrichting doet erg Amerikaans en gemaakt/nep aan, wat uiteraard een bepaald publiek aantrekt. In het midden staat notabene een Volkswagen Transporter bestelwagen (!), waar je ook in kunt eten! Niet te geloven! Geen gezicht, als je andere gasten opeengepakt in die bus ziet zitten: het is bijna lachwekkend! Bedenkelijk niveau. Maar zoals ik al zei: de inrichting is erg gemaakt en probeert gezellig te zijn, maar zo komt het niet over. Een drumstel (!) in de zaak, filmposters, een grote berenkop (nep) aan de muur, muren vol gehangen met allerlei borden, LP's, totempalen om maar wat te noemen... Het ziet er niet uit! De bediening (jongeman met aantal piercings en oorbellen in zijn oren) keek je niet eens aan bij het opnemen van de bestelling. Deed erg afstandelijk. Hij pakte niet zelf de menukaarten: "Willen jullie de kaarten aangeven?". Niet eens "alsjeblieft" erbij! De gerechten waren matig en de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed: te duur voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt. Wij stonden met een uur weer buiten. Het was voor ons een éénmalig bezoek.

Not a restaurant where you can walk into with a group of people. Reservations are recommended. Very much looking forward to it. It was OK but expected better. Sprare ribs Ok, Mix dish: Beef too well done and dry, chicken and meat also too well done or prepared long in advance. Fries have been lying around for a while. Couldn't order some bread and/or appetizers first to quietly watch the main course. I think it's a bit strange that there are simply two orders that they can process separately. I have the impression that because of the crowds they are doing some kind of mass production. Too bad otherwise they would definitely have gotten a big 5 stars from me. All in all it was nice, but I doubt I would go back again. It was handy because we don't live far away.

This is the third time we have eten here. First time we were invited for a birthday dinner and it was so yummy. We have been back twice for lunch, this place has really good food and is affordable. It's so good that you need to book at least a week in advance for dinner, that's why we have been back for lunch as you don't need a reservation. It can be very busy around lunch time but we have been lucky and managed to get a table without waiting each time. Sorry I have no photo's, I forget each time as we can't wait to get started when the food arrives. Will be back soon, maybe for dinner?

I ordered the spare ribs, 750 grams, when I got it this was far from 750 grams. When asked, she came back with the answer that that is the total weight, including the considerable mountain of fries that comes with it. I don't believe much of it, but if that is really the case, I find this quite misleading. You don't order a 300 gram steak and then get 150 grams of meat and 150 grams of fries. It's a shame about the experience, because it is a nice tent.

Always recommended Jack's Grillhous for 't Geintje. Eaten here so often, always good food. However, I thought the spareribs had too much fat this time.

Very disappointed. Indicate that we were under time pressure. And yet after 2 hours of sitting I still haven't heard anything. Had to get up during main course. This indicates that you are disappointed. That was bad luck for us and certainly no compensation possible. Never again for us!

Jack's grillhouse is always great! I ordered the vegetarian dish for the first time. This consisted of a caprese salad, goat cheese salad, mushrooms with onion, corn on the cob, onion rings, goat cheese croquettes, potatoes and pineapple. It tasted great and I was full! For dessert, baklava and latte machiato, also very tasty. It's great that there are several vegetarian options these days, so I can come more often and eat different dishes!

Family and I found this local restaurant as we were driving in from Germany. We were greeted with friendly staff members right away. Our server was extremely helpful in the drink and food selections and she did not steer us wrong. Each item we ordered was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. A definite MUST TRY if you’re in this area. The tomato soup was uniquely made and delicious. Left us wanting more. The ribs were so tender and the meat fell right off the bone. For this Texan raised girl, I was presently surprised it tasted like the ones back home. Kids menus offers a nice variety and very generous portions. My twelve year old daughter requested we return in our way out of Netherlands in three days.

A good, large burger with fries AND wedges, apple sauce, coleslaw, mayonnaise and fresh pineapple for 13 euros. The only negative I can think of is that you get too much food for little money.
