Top Sushi! Better than a number of highly rated Sushi restaurants in The Hague. Recommended! Absolutely the best in Voorburg!

Food is great!! Service speed is really slow, churning out our dishes every 20-25 minutes.

I had dinner with my mother and it was very tasty, the food was top notch. The sushi was nice and fresh. And the service was really good. Really delicious and I would love to come back again

Well, last Saturday we tried to eat at your place, but it went a bit differently. We arrived at 6:30 PM and our coats were taken. After us, about 10 minutes later, a group of three and a group of six arrived and got attention earlier to order their drinks. Then those two groups got their drinks and menus. We received our drinks and menus within 45 minutes because the menus were empty. After our opinion and experience with the restaurant industry, we were convinced enough, so we paid for our drinks and, like everyone else, went to order sushi! You must have some really good sushi, but when an evening like ours starts, you know enough.

Got greetings from the kitchen just like that. Fresh and balanced sushi and food for a good price. Fast service on a Thursday evening 🔥

We recently had takeaway here and can't agree with the reviews. The California roll was a ball of rice, the filling was hard to find. The tenderloin tips for 11 euros was a tiny carpaccio, the best filled was the Sake maki. Too bad, not worth repeating for us.

Refined food, good portions, attentive and friendly service. Not all you can eat but nice dishes. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will gladly come back.

Delicious gyoza and California roll and nice service

What happened here? We have been coming here for many years with complete satisfaction. This was really a top quality restaurant. Was it recently taken over or something? Service and quality have deteriorated sharply, unfortunately. We don't eat here anymore. Oh yes, know that the front door is stuck.

Overall I am very positive about this restaurant and have been coming there for years. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with them this evening. I ordered via the website and when I arrived just after 7pm to collect my 28 euro order, the restaurant seemed closed. The door did not open and there was no response to the bell. Because I did see lights on, I tried to look in through the side windows. However, I'm not that tall and they have blinds that block out a lot of view, so I couldn't see anything. After ringing the doorbell again and trying to open the door, I drove home. At 8:50 PM I noticed that I had missed calls, the first of which had been at 8:21 PM (almost 1.5 hours later!). I immediately called back and got an English-speaking gentleman on the phone who asked somewhat urgently if I would come by to pick up the food. I indicated that I had rung the doorbell and that the door was closed. And that it was now 2 hours later and that I had already eaten. And that I found it very annoying as a regular customer, but that I would not come by after all. After a discussion that lasted at least 5 minutes, he asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. Understandable, but not very customer friendly if you know that I come more often and am always on time. The manager called right after we hung up and I was able to tell the whole story again. She didn't agree that I didn't pick up the food after all and didn't want to pay for it anymore. She suggested that I should have called them, that ringing the doorbell was not enough. She was also surprised that I really couldn't see that there were no other customers. No, because I'm not that tall and it's quite difficult to see in from the outside. She got angry and we ended up in an argument that we couldn't resolve. I think it's a real shame and annoying, because I was certainly looking forward to their sushi. But as a restaurant you must ensure that it is easy to enter. And that you radiate that you enjoy receiving visitors. Leave the door ajar, open it all the way, or respond to a doorbell. Hang out a flag, put a sign outside... Everything is possible. But don't call after 1.5 hours to blame your loyal customer. No more Zenzo for me.

Ate here for the first time tonight, it was delicious. It was busy (which is understandable because it's Friday) but the employees were very nice and very hospitable. I will definitely come back here, a really top restaurant.

Very poor service, the first meal took an hour and when we wanted to order something else we were told that it would take another hour. Service was unfriendly and had poor communication skills. Next time back to Natsumi. Food was mediocre

Delicious meals in a very quiet atmosphere

Delicious food at Zenzo. Both in the shop (beautiful authentic dish) and for takeaway. We have one type of sushi on offer every day. You can then buy these for a reduced rate. I found the staff/owner to be friendly.

First time eating here with family. Very pleased. Small-scale restaurant, so fortunately it doesn't have a crowded feeling. We will definitely come back!

De prijzen die op de site staan zijn goedkoper dan werkelijkheid. 3:50 euro duurder. Jammer dat dit niet aangepast is. Wel heerlijk eten Uiteindelijk een bakje boontjes erbij gekregen

We have been here several times, always had a good experience. This time however, there was a different sushiman (due to holidays?), which unfortunately made for a very poor meal, not even matching all-you-can-eat-suahi quality....disappointing

We hebben het 6 gangen verrassingsmenu gegeten en hebben genoten! Met afwisselende en uitgebalanceerde gangen was het een echt avondje uit. Als afsluiting hebben we nog een bolletje sesamijs genomen. Heerlijk! Prettige en gastvrije bediening maakten het helemaal af.

Great service and delicious food. But sadly the food took over 1 hour to be served. And then we were told that something went wrong with the rice.

Very tasty food. But really slow service. Almost 1hr until the first plate was served. 45 mins to have all of the hem out.

Een heel gezellig en knus restaurant, met uiterst vriendelijke bediening. Dit keer gekozen voor de Chef's Choice en ons laten verrassen. Kan niet anders zeggen dan dat ook dit overheerlijk was en we komen graag weer snel terug!

Visiting Zenzo quite often already 9 y. One of the best sushi house in Den Haag region. Definitely recommended.

Uitstekende sushi en sashimi. Kraakvers en met zorg bereid. Voor het eten komen we zeker terug. Waar andere recensies wel een beetje een punt hebben is de wachttijd. Die is erg lang. Even snel hier eten is er niet bij. Als je je daarop instelt is er niets aan de hand. De dames in de bediening zijn uiterst vriendelijk, maar spreken gebrekkig Nederlands en Engels. En dat communiceert niet makkelijk moet ik zeggen. Maar het eten maakt dat ruimschoots goed.

We hebben weer eens heerlijk gegeten bij Zenzo, dit keer het verrassingsmenu gekozen. Bijzonder lekker gegeten, hoge kwaliteit, met zorg klaargemaakt, gedecoreerd en geserveerd, super ervaring. Prettige sfeer. Wij gaan hier zeker nog eens eten, echte aanrader!

Ontzettend lekker 4-gangen menu met allerlei extra’s van het huis. Attent personeel en een relaxte sfeer. Het eten was formidabele!

Heerlijke sushi en andere Japanse gerechten. Met name de sake aburi en wagyu aburi waren bijzonder smaakvol. Vriendelijke bediening en goed betaalbaar. Een aanrader!

It is small and unassuming restaurant. But to our surprise, the restaurant serves very authentic Japanese cuisine. Chef was trained in Japan. Their sake aburi Sushi is thick and very nicely charred. The essence of the fish melts in your mouth. We also ordered their ebi tempura, the batter is light and fluffy. Every bite is very delicate and their tensuyuu is very refreshing. Ebi char Han and tori yaki udon were filling and nicely executed! The wok hei and umami incorporated into the dishes very well. This is really an unexpected and quality Japanese restaurant in this area! Lady boss service is meticulous and welcomes you cordially. The ambience Keeps you coming for more! Thank you for the pleasant dining experience.

Mooi klein restaurant, super lekker eten, bediening zag er mooi uit! *ook al staat er op internet dat ze pas rond 15.00 of 17.00 open zijn, ....vanaf 14.00 kan je er al lunchen!
