Very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. The staff member who attended us had very poor communication skills and was unnecessarily rude. There is a difference between being busy and being disrespectful, and unfortunately this was the latter. On top of that, no one came to our table to check on us or offer any assistance. Customer service is a huge part of the dining experience, and this place fell far below even the most basic expectations. I would not recommend it based on the service alone.

Had a drink here after a concert in Afas. Great music, great vibe, and something else than Heineken was welcome too 😂

This place is a nightmare of staff arrogance and incompetence. I arrived at 7pm during a warm spell. After being seated by the hostess, I waited....and I waited. Finally I stopped a busboy and said, "look..it's hot...I'm sorry but please just give me ice water while I wait". He was kind enough to do it. I then waited some more and asked three different waiters who passing by if I could please place my order. THREE....all of them nodded and walked away. Finally the fourth waiter actual acknowledge me, but said, "I can't right now". I would love to rate the food but I got up and left without ever having an order taken.

Had a very nice experience, fast service, waitress JANNA helped us very well and the service was quick. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, but it had almost no chicken flavour at all. Instead, it had a very strong fishy taste that completely overpowered the dish and made it difficult to enjoy. The noodles were bland and lacked the balance of flavours you would normally expect from a Pad Thai. The chicken itself was disappointing as well. It didn’t seem properly cooked or well prepared, and some pieces had an unpleasant texture. The white crispy garnish served on the side was also stale rather than crispy. Overall, the dish felt poorly executed and far below expectations. I would not order it again.

Had to wait 20 minutes for a cocktail, but in the end it was very good. I recommend this place to everyone for a drink.

We stopped by this bar after a concert and ended up having an even better evening than expected! They were having a themed party, and the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. The energy was palpable, everyone seemed to be having a great time, and the vibe was festive from beginning to end. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and smiling, which greatly contributed to the quality of our evening. An excellent place to extend your night out after a concert or a night out. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

Super tasty food, lots of choice.

We were shown to our table, without a smile or enthusiasm. Then we waited politely for someone to come to our table to take our order, but that didn't happen. Other tables that sat down later were served without any issues. After waiting for 10 minutes, we decided to order via the QR code. Most of the menu was sold out, even though it was being promoted (especially the cocktails). We spent €40 on two drinks and some bar snacks, and when paying, I was even asked if I wanted to leave a tip, even though I was supposed to order it myself? The drinks arrived, followed a few minutes later by the food; it was just barely okay: flatbread, meager wrap. Then I wanted to order another drink, but that wasn't possible via the QR code. Again, we weren't served at our table but had to go to the bar where there was a 1km queue. This place made absolutely no sense.

We were shown to a table and that was fine. Then other people arrived and were served first, so after 10 minutes we just ordered via the QR code. The food arrived fairly quickly but wasn't special; there was also no enthusiasm from the staff and we didn't receive any cutlery with our meal. When we wanted to order drinks again, it was suddenly no longer possible and the menu had also suddenly been taken down, so we just left.

Had a quick coffee before we went to the Afas

Never again. I felt very uncomfortable because of the constant interruptions from the waiters. At least 10 times they came to bother me with questions already answered or pushing me pressure to ask for any other think to consume. Food wasn't any special either.

Before an Eric Clapton concert, we were looking for a place to eat with the six of us, which wasn't easy. But on recommendation, we joined the queue at JinSo. It cleared up quite quickly and we got a spot; a very friendly waitress made sure we got our delicious food quickly and apologized in advance for the fact that the drinks were taking a bit longer due to the crowds. She came by regularly to check if everything was OK—top-notch service!

Pleasant ambiance and excellent service. The bitterballen, chicken wings, cheeseburger, beef noodles, and dame blanche tasted good. The bitterballen stood out for their crispiness. Everything was well made. I would definitely go here again!

I don't know why people complain about the food. Maybe it's because I'm from the States and everything is just better in the EU? The steak melts in your mouth, the flavors in the burger are perfect, and the desserts are on point. The space is fun to me. I really like it.

A wonderful place. Friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Definitely worth a repeat visit. The metro is within walking distance, or you can park in the parking garage behind the cinema. (You can catch a movie while you're there too.) Can also be combined with a visit to the Arena or a shopping center.

Super fast service, although we did have someone at our table several times with drinks for another table; clearly still young and somewhat inexperienced staff. The food was incredibly good despite it being a fixed menu they use for large events and concerts. The price was really great and actually almost cheap for the quality and quantity of food we received. Highly recommended if you need or want to grab a bite to eat in the area!

Got coffee in a cardboard cup at a restaurant; never experienced anything like that. There was exactly 3cm of coffee at the bottom of the cup, €4.00 please. Good luck with that........

The food is usually fine; simple, quick, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is also good, considering you are located next to popular nightlife venues, so it is always reasonably busy, which contributes to the vibe. The music and aesthetics help with this as well. However, the service could be better. Too often you see people huddled together, for example at the bar. It also regularly happens that, even though there are plenty of people standing there, you cannot order drinks because they will come by, only to then have to explain where you are sitting... This is so incredibly strange and shows a lack of service. All in all, a nice place, but nothing special.

We came for a drink and a bite to eat. The drinks arrived 35 minutes after we had to ask twice, while the snacks were already cold (they arrived in no time). The snacks were tasty, but for the drinks, you're better off walking to the supermarket yourself...

In one word: terrible! We had a concert at the Ziggo Dome and thought we'd grab a relaxing bite to eat here before heading over. They offer a modified menu during events; okay, that's understandable, but what you get served 🤔. My boyfriend ordered Teriyaki chicken with fries and I ordered the Pad Thai chicken. It was unbelievable how quickly the food was on our table. In my opinion, the Pad Thai was truly unappetizing. Thick, slimy strands dumped on the plate with some egg and chicken (unfortunately, I didn't take a photo). I immediately indicated that I didn't like it, and the staff were extremely friendly; I was allowed to choose something else. So I ordered Teriyaki chicken instead. My boyfriend had finished eating by the time my food arrived, but anyway, I was just happy that I was allowed to choose something else. Unfortunately, my chicken looked different. Fried pieces of chicken thigh with some sauce on top; this has nothing to do with teriyaki chicken. All in all, the service was good, hence 2 stars, but the food was awful. The fries were tasty, though! The cake for dessert was very delicious, but it was sourced from Holtkamp, ​​so credits to this bakery. No more Jinso for us!

Yesterday I ordered the Pad Thai here. It was already striking how quickly the dish arrived at the table. You almost think it has been ready for a while and is just being reheated... That doesn't really matter, but when the dish was placed in front of me, the chicken was very white, and when (fortunately) I cut it open, it was still raw inside. I pointed this out and received a polite apology, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The dish was to be prepared again and removed from the bill as compensation. That is nice, but now you expect the next one to be thoroughly cooked. Unfortunately, the next one was also raw. While my companions were almost finished eating, I had to send my dish back and decided to leave it at that. Eventually, I received the chicken satay; this was well-cooked, but unfortunately, my trust was gone, and so was my appetite, so I sadly left everything untouched except for a few bites. In short: fine service and well resolved, but please do something about the kitchen because you really don't want to walk out with salmonella!

Of course, I understand that the average diner comes here for a quick bite before an event. We did too, and as a foodie, you shouldn't be bothered if the quality is a bit lacking. But I've rarely experienced such a spectacular experience at this restaurant. My table companions and I were already somewhat surprised by the lightning-fast speed with which our dish (Teriyaki Chicken, €24.50) arrived. Unfortunately, our surprise turned into bewilderment at what was on our plates. There's only one word for that: soulless. A few reheated, limp, almost translucent chicken breasts, drizzled with a minuscule, thin line of teriyaki sauce. Accompanied by a bowl of lukewarm fried (read: reheated) rice without crunch or flavor. Even the salt shaker didn't bring relief. Tasteless. When the otherwise very friendly waitress asked if everything had been to your liking and looked at the remaining contents of our plates, she nodded understandingly and made a valiant attempt to pretend we were the very first guests who hadn't finished their plates. But of course, we didn't fall for it. Fortunately, the concert was fantastic.

We made a reservation here because we were going to a concert at AFAS Live and wanted a view of the line that would be forming outside. We had a perfect spot by the window. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious! Highly recommended, this kind of event dinner combined with a concert.

Cozy and nice atmosphere also for coffee and tea or something to drink

We ate here last night with three of us. We ended up ordering the sweet chili chicken wings, which were still pink. We immediately reported this to the staff, and they said, "Oh, I'll take it back to the kitchen." We never received an apology, and the chicken wings were even added to our bill. We find this completely unacceptable. If we'd received an apology from anyone, I wouldn't be writing this review now, but oh well... if you want salmonella, eat here!

The food, drinks, and staff were all great. We went for a concert. BUT the music was incredibly loud and echoed like crazy! After 20 minutes, we were completely deaf. The staff didn't seem to notice.

We popped in on Wednesday afternoon and asked to see the menu before sitting down, as it wasn't displayed outside and we had two little ones with us. The menu was presented to us in a very rude manner, and the waitress immediately left. My other son was waiting at a distance, and when the waitress asked, "Can I help you?" he said, "I'll wait a minute, I'm one of them." When she stayed put, he repeated this, and then she snapped, "Yes, I heard you, you just said that!" We immediately left the restaurant. Such rude staff! We didn't feel welcome.

Very nice place, friendly service. We managed to order food late at night and it arrived quickly. One of the best burgers I've ever had. I was hungry but savored every bite. I found it to be a great place to meet friends and spend time together.

Enjoying a drink... I find it bizarre that even though the place is packed, we have to order our own drinks at the bar and bring them with us. The staff looks at us as if it's the most normal thing in the world. They even leave empty glasses. I've worked in hospitality for 25 years, and believe me, if my staff acted like that, I wouldn't be happy. As an owner, you're losing revenue.

I've never had an experience like this in a restaurant. We arrived 20 minutes before closing time (which we didn't know). We calmly ordered a cocktail, and then an employee came by to tell us they were about to close. When it was finally closing time, another employee came by and spoke to us very arrogantly, asking, "Is it almost finished?" "We're waiting for you!" It was just 5 minutes after closing time. I replied, "You can also politely report this." This employee was very angry and replied, "I've been friendly up until now!" She then gave us some more arrogant looks. This was only about one female employee. The rest were friendly. I've never experienced anything like this. Truly scandalous!

We were greeted kindly and shown to our table. The decor and lighting were nice, but that's where the positive experience ended. The waiter who took our drinks didn't even look at us, and the food was terrible. We started with a drinks platter with aioli, olives, sausage, and cheese. Only the bread roll was tasty, but the rest was truly poor quality. The cheese tasted like the cheapest pre-packaged cheese you can find in the Netherlands, and so did everything else. The main course, Salmon Caesar Salad, was a large platter with lots of lettuce and a watery dressing, with reasonably good smoked salmon and an egg, but that was it. Paying €95 for four glasses of wine is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow. Never again...

We've been coming to Jinso for years, even before it was renovated. They have excellent food, and if you're going to a concert, they make sure you're never late. The atmosphere is modern, the food is delicious if you like Indonesian food, but you can also get a hamburger or satay with fries. I used to go there with my family for an open buffet, but that was almost 25 years ago. They've gotten bigger, though, and the quality is still the same as it was 25 years ago.

It was very busy, but the staff handled it very well. They came over and asked if everyone was enjoying their meal and if they wanted any more drinks. The food also arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. I don't get that at other restaurants.

It used to be always good, but this time it was such a terrible disappointment! It's now self-service: order yourself, pick it up at a counter, and then it comes in a takeaway container! The only thing that hasn't changed is the prices, which are completely out of character for this concept! We paid 50 euros for a burger and satay!! And then there's the quality. Absolutely WORTHLESS!! The satay was way too dry, the fries were way too salty, and a Black August burger that was completely tasteless!! No way, they'll never see us again! It's truly become a dumping ground!!

This is an extremely bad experience. The manager didn't figure out the student's work visa at all. He asked me to trial for three hours. A week later, he informed me that they didn't accept student visas and didn't pay the salary for the trial work. It was very irresponsible and squeezed the labor.

Tbh we didn’t eat there because we had to wait too long for service. We had two issues: First, we sat at a table with dirty dishes because it was one of the only places in the shadow outside. Even after 20 minutes, no one of the staff cleaned the table and the table next to us. Secondly, the ordering via website at the table didn’t work. So, we asked getting a service person to help us. He said, he’ll be right there but he didn’t come again. Thus, we decided to leave. We were so excited for the food there, but unfortunately we had to experience this :(

I ordered vegetarian spring rolls, pointed out which one I wanted, and they were literally in the vegetarian section of the menu. Instead, I got duck spring rolls. I've been vegetarian for 16 years, and now I've had them without the wild meat. I ate two of them and then, just to be sure, asked if they were vegetarian. They weren't... I didn't get an apology or anything. They didn't care at all. I'll never go there again.

It’s a very cute place with a well decorated spacious dining area. There are a lot of options for food and drinks and the staff was also very attentive. Will come again!

Broken bad price quality ratio.

Horrible service!!! I arrive without a reservation, and a girl greets me very kindly and seats me. So far, so good. Then they bring me the menu, the food menu. No one asks me if I want a drink... After a while, a guy asks me... I see a cocktail menu on the table... And before opening it, I ask him if they have any cocktails made with whiskey, and he says yes, Amaretto. I tell him "I don't think it's a whiskey," but he firmly confirms that it is. Seeing what I've seen, I go for a beer. After 35 minutes, when the beer is already dry, I ask for the check to leave without dinner. No one in half an hour has even looked at me... Or approached the table... And suddenly someone else comes up to ask if I'm having dinner or not... I don't complain, I just shut up and order some duck rolls and a shrimp wok... Separately, please, first one thing, then another... Well, nothing. Directly, both. The reinforced concrete duck rolls. The wok is amazing, that's for sure. Another half hour after finishing, I ask for the check, clearly no one has come to ask if I want dessert or coffee... Why??? No??? So, I ask for the check, they bring it to me, they swipe the card reader, they turn around, and Ciao. No questions... Not even if you had a good dinner... Not even if you liked it... Nothing... Nothing... Nothing... I almost have to apologize... Please... Too many staff, and very little desire to work. They spend more time talking than serving. I won't be back.

Terrible food, rubber satay and burger dripping in grease and limp. No attention paid to it at all. You're better off getting kebab around the corner and having a beer here (if you want to do something before a concert like we did).

I have to adapt this, my review from 6 years ago is not valid anymore. We reserved a table for 8 here and were put on the first floor. Below was a company party with very loud music which made it impossible for us to have a conversation. They shouldn't accept reservations when such parties are going on. The menu changed considerably since 6 y ago, that's normally not an issue but the change is not good: the selection is very small.
