JinSo Lounge Bar & Restaurant in Amstel III/Bullewijk

I have to adapt this, my review from 6 years ago is not valid anymore. We reserved a table for 8 here and were put on the first floor. Below was a company party with very loud music which made it impossible for us to have a conversation. They shouldn't accept reservations when such parties are going on. The menu changed considerably since 6 y ago, that's normally not an issue but the change is not good: the selection is very small.

It was packed, but the service and food were fast. Delicious and fresh. Highly recommended for a bite to eat before a concert. Reservations are recommended.

A good menu during events; it's noticeable that efficiency is being taken into account. But this is more than expected, considering the number of guests who visit this location during events.

If you dont know your food, then this place is good value for money - (not bad tasting, nust standard) 60 seconds after finishing my dinner, with still half a beer, I was asked to either pay or move because the restaurant was closing (9.15)...so no option for a desert or coffee...unless i standard at the bar...wow The location is great and looks fun - still 3 stars because of that then

It is definitely worth it to eat or drink here before a concert, even if you have to wait a while. Booking in advance is also recommended.

We've had our company borrel here a couple of times and it has always been a great experience. Cocktails are amazing, food tastes great and service is top notch!

Don't eat here with allergies. I had to ask 5 times if what I taste is honey in my drink, after I already asked 2x upfront when ordering. The staff made me feel stupid until they checked the ingredients. I'm lucky I trusted my taste buds. The food - the fried rice was mediocre (dry) but the Teriyaki chicken I can recommend. The meat was quite tender and nicely presented. Btw, I hope the kitchen gets more cleaned than the windows in the dining area. They look like people licked on the glass. Part of the dining area also smells like Thai fish sauce, which is not a pleasant smell.

Bad food. Too expensive for the quality they deliver This is just a soup kitchen. Avoid is my advice. Get fries on the square if you go to a concert...because this is not worth the money

The food was fine. The service was fast. But the food for the second person only came when the first had finished eating, that is very poorly done.

The food is very good, but the staff didn’t take our orders and just ignored us, even though we had a reservation. It took a long time for anyone to acknowledge or help us, and it felt like our presence didn’t matter

Been coming here for years when I go to a concert. But here too, the greed inflation has struck. 25 euros for a burger with fries or 29.50 for a tenderloin, those are prices for a good class restaurant, not for a bite that is already prepared on the conveyor belt and is on the table within 2 minutes. The price/quality has gone down in recent years. Even a meal for two and you will easily spend 90 euros, I would pay 60 euros at most.

Great that on a busy day there was still a place without a reservation.. it just took a very long time before someone came to the table.. eventually I went to the bar to ask.. from that moment on it went well. Great event menu.

Booked for dinner at Jin-so where we are normally very satisfied. After waiting for 10 minutes we were abruptly asked “food” and shown to our table. We waited here for half an hour before we were even asked if we wanted something to drink. When someone finally came, it was done but not in the most customer friendly way. After 20 minutes we got our starter which was only cleared after half an hour after addressing a waiter who then got another colleague. In between we could see all the staff and we tried to address them a few times but we were largely ignored because they were more concerned with each other than with their guests. The main course came fairly quickly compared to the rest of the evening. Fortunately the bill came within a few minutes. The amount was mentioned and that was it. No thank you, not a nice evening, before the beep of the ATM the waiter had already turned around and walked away. The food is very tasty but unfortunately due to the customer service that left a lot to be desired we will most likely not come back.

Had a great meal with my colleagues. Very attentive and professional staff. The leather upholstery of the chair could do with an upgrade soon, but it was comfortable.

Allergens are mislabeled on the menu. I told the waiter I have a dairy intolerance and he suggested a cheeseburger, because it's cheese not milk. The food was fine and delivered quickly.

Fantastic experience at Jinso Restaurant! A few days ago I visited Jinso with friends, and what a wonderful experience it was! From the start we were welcomed nicely. Despite the fact that the restaurant is quite large, the waiting times were surprisingly short – really well organised. The food was delicious and the cocktails, especially the piña colada, were also delicious. The price-quality ratio was very good; you really get value for your money. All in all we really enjoyed our time at Jinso. Definitely a place to come back to!

This place is what it is. It serves 3 large event venues and they usually have an event menu when there's something going on. The food is OK, nothing special. There's definately an event- / tourist-tax situation going on with the prices, and I personally think the prices are not worth it for what you get. But, hey if you are hungry go for it. 3/5

Was hard to decide how to rate. There are not many cafe's in the area, so good to have that one. Beer prices are too high. It feels professional but without a real character. Just a generic place for drinks in Bijlmer Arena

The maitre'd saw that there was a cocktail shortage and immediately arranged for us another drink. Great! Very friendly service too. Food a bit too greasy but the rest was fine.

Always have a good meal before going to a concert

Terrible and raw meat!! Upon arrival the staff was too busy with themselves. After we sat at the table it took forever before our order could be placed. The waiter's attention was elsewhere. The food came before the drinks. Chicken was raw. Service unsympathetic and getting the bill also turned out to be quite a challenge.

Ok, sitting here with a view on the bar where they haul beer. What happens there is interesting, a big bucket is placed underneath the tap (that delivers a wheat beer, locally brewn) , everything that spills (passing the stem and bottom of the glasses, these are not rinsed and hence touched by dozens of people) is caught in that bucket. Then the bucket sits there for a couple of minutes before the guy with the task to pour it arrives. He proceeds to pour the bucket's contents into a pitcher. This pitcher than sits there for approximately half an hour... Then as soon as somebody orders that beer the glass is half filled with fresh beer and then topped off with the lukewarm "stuff" that was in the bucket, the pitcher and now the overpriced glass of beer somebody unknowingly is actually going to drink. A glass of the liquid gold costs a lot (removed price for Google policy) at the time of writing. Drink up! Update: the pitcher is now there for more than 45 minutes and just now it was used t pour another 3 "toppings" out.

And just like last year the food was not good. last year the satay was not cooked properly so not cooked and now we had the tournados of € 29.50 not cooked properly so not cooked either. my wife's plate was covered with the liquid from the piece of meat and was actually still as red as it can be. the same goes for my piece of meat. They were seared and then put on the plate. It is a blessing that we did not get sick from it. Also just like last year the food was served within 10 minutes which seems very fast for a large piece of meat. when we wanted to report the problem the next problem came and that was that the staff did not speak a single word of Dutch and you immediately heard the answer I don't know or I don't understand you. if we go again next year we will definitely not eat there again. we went here for dinner just like last year before the concert with Bouke. You get your food in cardboard containers and then pay 25 euros for a satay menu. Ridiculous.

They asked us to finish our food as soon as possible and leave even they still have so many empty tables, we were there having drinks and bites and sitting for 1 hour only allowed. And prices are high and quality is low.

Nice restaurant to eat, reservations are recommended if there are events in the area (AFAS-Live, ZIGGODOME). When it is busy it may take a little longer before you are helped, but the food makes up for it.

Terrible service and food. We celebrated my brother's birthday, who is a tourist, and I was embarrassed. The waitress was very unfriendly, the bathrooms were clogged and flooded, the food was expensive, and the cocktails were pure ice. I do not recommend it.

Great bar restaurant cozy and great food

Very nice little oasis in the arena area. Really nice atmosphere and unreserved seating is plentiful. Service is good and the food is of a high standard. Had the pad Thai and it was very good given it's not a Thai Restaurant . .. the photo speaks for itself.

Bad service drinks were still reserved in plastic cup. More ice than drink

Terrible food. It is not worth anything. Don't order the ribs or the din sum... Of what we tried, only the gyozas are saved...

To be honest, I think it's the worst food I've had in a long time...the prices are very expensive, which is something I can understand given the location of the restaurant but a minimum of quality wouldn't hurt...I'm really sorry but I won't go again

The place to be for a concert and Ziggo or Afas. Value for money always! And with Alex, who is the most customer-friendly manager you can find!

Long waiting times for someone to come and answer. That's not so bad when it's busy, but now after taking the order, the food came first and halfway through the drinks and a bottle of wine to go with the food. The excuse was that there are a lot of staff in the kitchen but few in the service. I had the feeling that there were 4 people working on 1 order at the same time. There was also no real fire going on. Downstairs you sit in a kind of flickering disco lights. I don't fully understand the function. Not recommended for people with epilepsy.

The food arrived in just 5 minutes. It tasted great. Staff was slow, but friendly. I ordered the pad thai, the picture showed a fried egg, but there were pieces of scrambled egg in the dish. Fine, but I was looking for my egg first ;)

An unattractive restaurant with okay food if you go to a concert, but the service is very poor. We had to wait a very long time for someone to come to our table to record something. We communicated our choices for both food and drinks, after waiting some time we did receive our food but our drinks kept waiting. The wait staff came to tell us that it took a little longer with the drinks because she was only behind the bar and the kitchen was busy, so the food arrived before the drinks. Maybe a tip not to put 1 man behind the bar, but to help behind the bar instead of waiting until the drinks are ready.

I met a friend here for lunch, and while the place wasn’t very busy and the menu wasn’t extensive. I tried their teriyaki chicken, and the flavor exceeded my expectations! However, the toilet was a bit unusual – there was a box asking for donations, which was unexpected and slightly confusing.

Cool vibe in the restaurant but horrible slow service and bad nachos! And they charge for tap water and the bathroom. Waiter was dismissive and rude but the manager was nice.

What an atmosphereless, soulless restaurant, when we entered we were parked upstairs, this is not a bad thing, but no one came to us to take our order. We had to give a signal ourselves to order drinks. Not a good first impression. The drinks are expensive, we ordered coca cola and got it straight away in a glass, normally you get the bottle with it, which gives the feeling that it was not real coca cola. The food is terribly overpriced, 24.50 for 3 pieces of chicken thigh and rice, I think it was ready an afternoon, it arrived on the table in 3 minutes at the same time as the appetizer (bread with spread) that we ordered. The food was very mediocre, it seemed as if the service had scooped it straight from a buffet onto the plate, even the bread was dry. There was virtually no service, and when paying we first received the wrong bill. You walk out the door feeling like you've been robbed and regretting that you didn't go to McDonald's. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant, I don't think the owner has any passion for catering. This restaurant is a good example of a beautiful location that means no effort is put into quality.

On the 5th of December at 22.30, We went in to get a quick beer before taking the train.there were a maximum of 30 people in the place. There were around 6 waiters standing around and chit chatting with one another. They told us at the entrance we have to order at the bar , I don't see why , what are the waiters for ? Decoration ? They have a barcode ordering system that doesn't work , so after waiting for 10 minutes and noone serving us , I went to the bar , and asked why noone is taking an order, they said we have to come to the Bar. So I need to get out of my chair and pay 6 euros for a Lagunitas IPA ? I don't think so , why do you have waiters for ? Are they there for decoration? This is not what I call customer service.if its busy, I can understand, but they were sitting around chit chatting , and then me as a customer needs to get up and go order ? And you think as an owner that this is normal ?I might as well drink that beer at home , I still need to get up and go get it from the fridge for 1,2 euros total, thank you very much. I'm not going back again to a place where the customer needs to put in the work. I did not order food ( they'd probably ask me to cook it my self) so I can not grade that, but service 1 / 100 on a good day. The place has nice decoration though , that's all. If you as a bussiness owner want to see customers you have to respect them , if you want customers to come in pay , and work for it also , then you'll be out of bussiness soon enough , that's all I can say

Fries just like from the Mac, Burger bun limp and little taste and the 'salad' is a green leaf with half a cherry tomato and a ready-made sauce from the supermarket. And you ask €25.50 for that.

Atmosphere was good, but service was slow. We had to ask several times if they were coming to place an order and only after asking 3 or 4 times did someone arrive.

Nice restaurant, we came here from Belgium especially for this place. just a shame they don't serve food. Tonic is nice and fresh and comes with a lemon and 2 ice cubes Disco lights are a plus. Unless you have epilepsy and just want to have a nice chat. Then you foam in your mouth

Very salty that I already asked for 2 cut lemons and it was still salty, what I did was throw water so that I could eat something, because I just got off work and very hungry, very unfortunate that kind of restaurant that their menu is not edible . Never run out of money again.

What a shame. We got the events menu, which we knew and didn't mind. Just those prices compared to this quality are outrageous!! The burger had no taste and has probably been waiting in the kitchen for 4 hours. I asked for mayonnaise on it instead of BBQ sauce, I got almost a kg of mayonnaise on my burger. My mother had a chicken satay, it still had all the fat on it. My girlfriend had a salmon salad, I don't know what that was supposed to mean…. Some pieces of iceberg lettuce with some slices of salmon and 1 piece of tomato. Ridiculous! All this food was €22+, so you can expect a bit more in terms of quality. In addition, the music was so loud, we felt like we were in a club. You can't even understand each other. And lastly, the staff did not have a pleasant smell, not really nice to have your food reserved from them. All in all: very bad! Never again.

At first we didn't want to eat the excessive negative recession here. But since I suggested that we should try it, we went anyway. At the beginning we didn't expect much, but we were very surprised. The drinks and food came very quickly after ordering. The staff was very friendly and came often to ask if everything was OK and if we needed something to drink. I can't judge the food. I was there on Friday evening, a concert in the Ziggo and a concert in the Afas. So then they have an events card, which is on their website, no problem. On the event menu, vegetarian options are limited to a Ceaser Salad or a poke bowl (or bites). To my surprise, the events menu in the restaurant was different than on their website, and the vegetarian option was limited to the ceaser salad. So I went to eat somewhere else. My rating is therefore also based on the lack of decent vegetarian options, and the difference between their website and reality.

Probably the best place around the Stadium. Very attentive service. Many good options.

Very bad food for an event. The hamburger is really not tasty, you are better off going to Burger King around the corner where you get a better burger for less.

They have a strange way of customer service. You can drink outside (via QR which does not list all the drinks and still receive the wrong arrangement of the drinks), but food had to be eaten inside, even though we had been drinking outside for a while and had received the menu to view.. We went inside only to be told that we had to stand in a line to be received. That's fine if this is your method, but please let us know immediately when we sit down.

My wife had some problems with the taste of her food. Well resolved by the staff
