Why are you asking me for advice on something I don't know?

A Chinese who has been in Voorschoten for a long time and still delivers good quality. We had a delicious meal there on New Year's Day. As always, the quantity was more than we could eat. Friendly service is also certainly a plus. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the delicious food, but that's because we were too busy enjoying it. We will certainly continue to return regularly.

It's a bit lame that you have to pay 2 euros extra for half a portion of noodles/nasi!!! If you order online. If you get it yourself, you have a whole container for this. Deposition……

Delicious food. Very hospitable staff, extra attention for the children and more than enough food. Recommended!

Very unfortunate, but for the umpteenth time now the koe lu yuk balls were way too hard and way too well done. Or the balls have been thrown in again... a shame, we have been coming here for years, but in recent months the food has not tasted so good. Paid €26 for very bad food!!!!

Cold spring roll just from the freezer without frying

Yesterday, to my regret, I did not order home delivery, but because the restaurant had posted flyers for this with the previous order, on their own site. I ordered a Cantonese rice table for 2 people for €47.80. An additional €2 was charged for delivery and 35 cents transaction costs. When ordering I could only choose the soup. Then there is only a comments field and the checkout. I have nothing else to comment so I paid €50.05 with iDeal. I received a call within a few minutes asking if I wanted nasi or noodles because I had forgotten to make a choice. Oh okay, then just have some nasi. Yes, that means paying an extra €2 in the restaurant. Excuse me? I indicated on the telephone that this could not be the intention, but on the telephone I was accused of not having made a choice and therefore having paid €2 too little. So I reluctantly went to the restaurant and told them that I was angry and that I didn't agree with it. Because on the website there is no option at all to choose a side dish, let alone pay extra for it. Moreover, I wanted to have my food delivered, precisely so that I wouldn't have to visit the restaurant first from work. Instead of an apology, I was told that I had not done it correctly and I was shown receipts from other customers who also paid extra for their side dish. But that's my point universe. Blaming me for something when the website advertises something else and doesn't offer the option of paying an allowance for the side dish at all, that's my point. I have never experienced anything like this with home delivery and now I cannot write a review for home delivery, which would otherwise have been possible. I don't understand why they don't just say sorry in the shop for accusing me of making a mistake and let me come in for €2. By the way, at my insistence I did get the 2€ back for the delivery, although that was certainly not a pleasure. Tip for the customer: do not order via this restaurant's own website. Tip for the restaurant: customer satisfaction is something you can control yourself; Blaming a customer is never a good idea!

Never dissatisfied, now a bit disappointed because the ordered/paid spring roll was not included. Because the portions are always large, I did not call directly but sent an email. I was called well before dinner time (2 days later) with apologies and whether the spring roll could be delivered afterwards. 10 minutes later the delivery person was there with 2 spring rolls! We were positively surprised and will keep coming back!

Ga hier regelmatig chinees eten halen, vooral de magere babi pangang, altijd lekker en mals, maar nu heeft de kok een steekje laten vallen denk ik. Vlees was erg hard, denk te veel doorgebakken, alles in de prullenbak gegooid. Jammer, niet de kwaliteit laten verslappen Joy King.

Chef cooks excellent food. Bami is soft and duck is juicy. All the vegetables and groeten are fresh and tasty. Have all the sweet and savory. The environment is sweet and like home. The waitress is kind and warm. The vibe is very welcoming and elegant.

Super lekker eten ik haal hier voortaan altijd me eten. Alles was wekker ik raad het je aan vooral de loempia's super lekker

Altijd vriendelijk en weer prima

Goede porties. Babi pangang mager is ook echt mager vlees. Goed bevallen

De keren dat ik Chinees eet dan haal ik dit altijd bij Joy King. Ik ben iedere keer zeer tevreden over de service, de portie en het warme en goed verpakte eten. (Speciaal menu voor 2-3personen). Over smaak valt te twisten maar ik vind het eten echt lekker van smaak en hierdoor blijf ik ook steeds terugkomen. Ga zo door en tot de volgende keer weer 😁

Wij zijn met koningsdag hier gaan eten en het was geweldig ,ze hebben een heerlijk gevarieerd menu geserveerd, super lekker , de babipangang was een 10 aardige mensen

they took too much extra money from me today. i asked for kroepoek when they gave me my order in a bag (just before my order was finished i thought, well let's also get some extra kroepoek). it turns out there was already some kroepoek in my bag. they never said it, just charged me an extra 5 euro's. and gave me the bag that was already finished with the kroepoek inside. that is THEFT. thank you Joy King! i will now never order from you again. Have a great time on my stolen 5 euro's. such a shame

Spontane bediening, altijd goed, en lekker eten hier.

Aanrader! Voor het eerst hier Chinees besteld en oh wat is dat goed bevallen. Door Joy King zelf snel bezorgd op het tijdstip waarop men had beloofd te bezorgen, aardige bezorger en echt héérlijk gegeten (voor een mooie prijs). Dit wordt ons favoriete restaurantje om bij te eten/bestellen als we zelf geen zin hebben om te koken.

Al jaren ons vaste adres als we zin hebben in Chinees. Geen zin of tijd om af te halen? Bezorging is super snel!

Geweldig eten en niet duur. In het restaurant supersnelle bediening. Drankjes ook redelijk geprijsd. Afhaal ook goed

Voortreffelijke Chinees met het ophaalnetten, doch het eten in het restaurant is geweldig! Je bent er echt gast! Dat is in een groot restaurant in Voorschoten dubbel anders!

Het eten is hier goed. We halen hier altijd eten! Nu gingen we daar eten. Alles goed alleen een beetje stil, 2 tafels bezet.

De betere Chinees van Voorschoten. Smakelijk en redelijk geprijsd

Mevrouw wist niet wat loempiasaus is. Gaf zoetzure saus mee. Kiploempia besteld. Maar de kip is onderweg naar huis zeker weggevlogen want Er zat geen vleugje kip in. Slechte zaak.

Witte rijst was mooi wit, stoelen zaten lekker, schoon bestek en gehoorzaam personeel! Echt een aanrader.

Lekker in het restaurant gegeten. Jammer dat alleen het afhalen druk is maar in het restaurant bijna niemand komt.

Joy King in Voorschoten ligt wat afgelegen maar is een prima restaurant. Inrichting is wellicht iets gedateerd maar de keuken niet, uitstekend gegeten. Babi Pangang en Mihoen Singapore zijn aanraders. Maaltijden zijn ruim, goed op smaak en meer dan voldoende. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Plezierige prijsstelling in combinatie met ouderwets naar de Chinees. Probeer het eens.

Heel lekker eten om af te halen, maar je kunt ook in het restaurant eten

Heerlijk vers eten, zowel afhaal als restaurant, ookal is dit laatste vele maten gezelliger en ook iets lekkerder. Snelle bediening, ook op iets drukkere dagen en het dessert is al helemaal om je vingers bij af te likken. Sorbet met seizoensvruchten, heerlijk. Qua prijs ook uitstekend, het restaurant is schoon met fijne ruime plaatsen.
