Julia's Amersfoort in Wijk 18 De Berg Noord

I used to go to Julia's occasionally for pasta or a sandwich, but what tasteless pasta I got. I didn't eat it for pleasure, and it's also quite pricey for what you get. So, never again.

Extremely bad service! Bad service!

This wasn't the first time at Julia's; other times we were mega satisfied, which is why we chose Julia's. But I found it really tasteless this time; the staff standing there were unfriendly, had earbuds in, and I had the impression they were listening to music. I had to place my order at least three times and she still couldn't understand me; I really had to raise my voice. And even then, she could barely hear me. A bit unfriendly to customers; I've never experienced anything like this before, serving customers and then rudely keeping earbuds in.

I specifically asked for penne pesto without chicken, and it turned out to contain chicken. This is already the second time this has happened.

Terrible service working in hospitality and no interaction no hi hello and when i said hi in polite way the bald guy was like can you wait I’m serving him first ..uhm okay i got it and i can see and i don’t mind waiting but it just seems off and i went away btw lady working in morning was very helpful and friendly

Order a large one and still get half a container.

SUBJECT: CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AT JULIA’S AMERSFOORT – 6 MARCH 2026 Dear Management, I would like to share feedback regarding my experience at Julia’s Amersfoort on 6 March 2026. When I entered the store, I was immediately struck by the fact that the gentleman behind the counter wiped his runny nose with the palm of his hand and did not wash his hands afterward. Given that food is being handled, this raised concerns regarding hygiene. I also waited at the counter for approximately three minutes without being acknowledged. During this time, another staff member entered the room, and the gentleman behind the counter first turned to speak with his colleague before attending to me. When he eventually asked what I wanted, he appeared not to understand my order and his demeanour did not seem particularly welcoming. I had the impression that he was not interested in taking my order. As a result, I thanked him, indicated that I would not be ordering anything, and left the store. I kindly suggest that management consider making an unannounced visit to the takeaway location and possibly providing additional staff training on hygiene practices and customer service.

I recently ate at Julia's in Amersfoort, but unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. We ordered the Penne Crema, but it was undercooked and had virtually no flavor. I've rarely eaten such tasteless pasta. You really expect better from a pasta shop. Very disappointing. I also ordered the Focaccia Carpaccio Truffle. When I briefly left the store and my daughter was still inside, the staff made a comment to other customers along the lines of, "Who orders carpaccio in the evening?" I found that very unprofessional and disrespectful. All in all, not a pleasant experience, and we won't be repeating it.

Extremely incompetent staff. You really have to keep an eye on them while they're making your pasta, especially if you've ordered extra toppings. Extra toppings are incredibly expensive, but they simply don't add them unless you keep an eye on them while they're making your pasta. Very annoying.

I went yesterday and was very unfriendly, both by the young woman and the tall, bald man, Rob. I won't be getting cappuccinos from him anymore because he can't do it. I asked him several times if he could froth the milk instead of heating it. His answer: "I can't do better." You feel like you're complaining instead of ordering something as a customer. This man is completely unsuited to customer service. And the young woman has to go and see how her other colleagues are doing because the rest of Julia's staff are doing it right.

The sandwiches are tasty, and so are the pastas. But the customer service is absolutely terrible. You ask them to heat up a sandwich, but because they haven't been trained, they refuse.

Good cappuccino, temperature and structure great, coffee not too hot.

Although sandwiches and salads are listed on the menu, they were unavailable. I ordered the Farfalle Arabbiata, but it lacked any spiciness. The small portion, priced at 7.75, seemed quite expensive given its size. The chocolate cannoli was average and cost 2.50.

They are very stingy with their protein, I ordered penne with tuna, but there was not a piece of tuna in sight

There were two employees, a friendly young man and a not-so-friendly older man. The older employee didn't give me time to make a choice, even though there were no customers at the time. I also couldn't scan my stamp app, which is always an option. The employee was very rushed, the atmosphere wasn't pleasant, and the pasta was way overpriced, if it even is pasta at all. I think the Italians in Italy would laugh at it. But anyway, it's impossible to make good pasta in less than 10 minutes. Next time, try a different Julia's or a pizzeria instead.

As a student I always get food here when I come home late, very friendly staff.

Dacht even lekker een kroketje uit de muur te eten, pinpas ervoor en er werd 3 euro !!! Afgeschreven voor een lauwe, slappe kroket… dit was voor mij echt de laatste keer, wat een woekerprijs voor zoiets onsmakelijks.

Very strange food tent this how do you want to tell me you run a business but can't have your rolls baked on time and then also have someone standing in front of the door so that no one can get in your fucking store opens at 7:00 shouldn't you prepare everything before then 🤨🤨 and how are your meats still frozen. Food is really a 10/10 but the people (bald man and older lady) no sorry

So I paid for spinach, I get 4 leaves. Very few vegetables, it used to be different. And a bit more cheerful. Of course there are more orders when it's 6 or half past 6 in the evening. Didn't feel comfortable there. Didn't feel welcome.. not in Amersfoort to the Julia's anymore. It used to be different. And then you pay 17 euros for that, for 2 mini portions with few vegetables. No, not for me anymore. Very sad..

The food is good. To be honest, I can make this much better at home. But this is just a quick bite. They make it ready for you within 10 minutes. You can sit there comfortably! But real atmosphere no? You can choose 3 sizes of food. And they can always add extra ingredients. As a customer you are clearly on a pedestal. Nice staff and they work very hard. The food is not mega expensive.

10 eur for an overboiled chicken pasta with not a singe piece of chicken. bland, tasteless, where is the chicken?????

The pasta and sandwiches are delicious, but the salads are incredibly small. Absolutely not worth the money. If you order something here, don't get a salad.

Even though they were open and have sandwiches and salads on the menu, none was available. On top of that, not the best customer service. We will not come back for sure 👎

We ordered our pasta and it was served outside on real plates and cutlery. What a luxury!

I'm always very pleased with Julia's. I always get my coffee there on my break because it's so good. But to my great surprise, they suddenly don't use Campina milk, but Albert Heijn's own brand. It's noticeably less tasty, and for a €4 coffee, I find it outrageous.

About two weeks ago, I ordered a cappuccino for my colleague and a coffee for myself. My colleague's cup barely contained two sips of coffee. When I asked the employee if this was correct, she said it was normal. Too bad I forgot to take a picture. My black coffee was incredibly bitter. We threw it away and went to the kiosk.

I asked for a glass of tap water l. Couldn't get rid of it. While it's sweltering outside. I just had to buy a bottle of water from him. While I have often ordered here. Scrooge McDuck.

Super tasty and quickly prepared, eaten on the spot. I didn't know they would serve it with plate and cutlery, how nice!

Ik kwam bij Amersfoort Centraal smullers op 26 juni en er stond een meisje met bruin haar achter de kassa, heel onvriendelijk en onbegripvol. Wij hadden 2 burgers gepakt maar ze hadden verkeerd gevuld, ongeopend was het en mochten niet ruilen voor een andere. Ze reageerde erg onvriendelijk!

Just got some pasta. There was sand all over the arugula. As a result, the pasta was thrown away. Seemed like the lettuce hadn't been washed

I had coffee today. Sorry the worst coffee in my life I ever had. Totally disappointed. Earlier I use to drink and have food at Julia's quiet sometimes and had a fantastic taste though not sure why today 🙃

The food is good, hot, sandwiches are tasty, but don't go here if you are in a hurry. There isn't really any speed and sometimes they are busier talking to each other or dealing with the chaos. What strikes me is that it is messy, and this could be better managed.

The portions are huge for someone as small and weak as me! A large portion is really HUGE! I didn't get it...

Fast service but the quality of the pasta is dramatic. Tasteless and way too watery. ☹️

Slowest Julias in the Netherlands. Staff are particularly busy talking about their favorite series and films. Don't get the quick pasta here.

Nice place for a quick healthy bite in a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Het eten is oke, maar de bezorging duurt echt niet normaal lang! 75 minuten wachten is echt absurd.

Heeerlijk eten en snelle service. Je hebt voldoende aan een medium box.

Elke vrijdag als ik kom rond 9:00 9:30 hebben ze nog geen brood.. vraag me af waarom dit dan wel aangeboden wordt. Andere vestigingen hebben het namelijk wel.. 🙃

Julia’s is een goede keuze als je ff geen zin hebt in fastfood. Lekkere pasta’s met een ruime keuze uit toppings en sauzen. Hier bij Julia’s in Amersfoort gegeten en zeker tevreden. Lekkere pasta, geen lange wachttijden en ook wat zitgelegenheden als je geen zin hebt om je pasta in de kou op te eten. Ook erg vriendelijk personeel die het niet erg vinden om te switchen naar Engels als dat gewenst is.

Super lekker, snel klaar en niet echt duur.

Nachdem ich wegen einer Zugverspätung etwas länger warten musste, bin ich noch kurz zu Smullers gegangen, weil die um die Zeit noch aufhatten. Das typische Angebot eines Fastfood-Geschäfts in Holland (Pommes, Frikandel, ...). Soweit in Ordnung, ich finde die Preise nur etwas zu hoch gegriffen.

Wat je van een Julia mag verwachten: lekkere pasta. Door de corona is het assortiment iets kleiner dan ik gewend was. Keuze uit drie maten, koos zelf voor medium en dat was ruim voldoende.

Vriendelijke medewerkers. Over het algemeen snelle service waardoor je de trein nog kan halen.

Stond een hele leuke jongen achter de balie. Pasta was heerlijk 👍🏼

Gelieve het personeel op te leiden dat penne langer dan één seconde moet uitlekken. Pasta wordt gemaakt in bepaalde vormen om saus beter vast te kunnen houden, maar als die niet uit kan lekken dan zitten daar druppels kokend heet water. Vandaag weer mijn tong verbrand eraan...

Smakeloze pasta. Om deze reden wat spekjes erbij besteld, die zaten er achteraf dus niet in... Zeker geen aanrader, volgende keer weer brood mee

Lekkere pasta bolognese gegeten van Julia's Amersfoort. Alleen jammer dat ik mijn bakje pasta in de trein openmaakte en ontdekte dat ik de twee toppings, waar ik wel voor had betaald, ontbraken. Het is maar €1,40 maar toch voelt het niet fijn!

Heerlijke broodjes, koffie en sapjes voor in de ochtend, heerlijke pasta's in de avond... mooie nette winkel en vriendelijk personeel.

Mwah. De pasta met bolognese was redelijk smakeloos.

Prima 'ander' fastfood: pastamaaltje met keuze voor heerlijke toppings

Julia's Amersfoort is echt top!! Als ik ook maar even tijd genoeg heb haal ik er een heerlijke Cappuccino. Dan kies ik een grote en extra sterk. Zo'n lekkere koffie, dat maakt het reizen een stuk aangenamer! Vlotte bediening en toch altijd vriendelijk. Ook de broodjes zijn er lekker en altijd vers :)

Pasta is decent and done quickly however the personnel was openly complaining to each other when I put a pinch of salt on my food. " it's so unhealthy" "I would NEVER do that", "it's such a bad choice". It's hard to avoid such clear gossip when the shop is so small. Food is okay, but truly the worst personnel i've ever been served by because of gossiping and making me feel so unwelcome.

Mooie plaats, lekkere broodjes, personeel is aardig en vind het niet erg om wat ingrediënten aan te passen. Alleen jammer dat het per dag verschild hoe laat de broodjes beschikbaar zijn.

Decently priced store right outside Amersfoort station, with a good variety of pastas as well as breads. They have the menu in English as well as Dutch. -Friendly and helpful staff -Small but comfortable seating space -Fast service, your pasta takes barely five minutes to prepare -Good for takeaway -Good variety of extra toppings -Portions are a little small, but good quality for the price

Heel dure pasta die in verhouding voor wat je betaalt weinig voorstelt.

Best coffee ☕ on Amersfoort station! Not the cheapest though. Sandwiches are good, freshly made daily and bread is baked locally. Pastas are decent but I find quality low and price too high. 11 euro for a lunchbox that shouldn't cost more than 8 euro 💶 Very busy during lunch and after school, so plan your visit around that time ⌚.

Great place for delicious pasta and Italian coffee. Price for a normal meal is between €5,50-6,50 and takes about 5-6 minutes to prepare. There's usually a ~10 min wait when visiting around 6pm, since this is quite a popular choice for dinner. I usually find the normal portions to be sufficient (I'm 1.95m and on fit weight) to last the rest of the day.
