The taste was good, and it was nice and hot, but the lettuce lacked dressing.

The zoo itself is fine, but the restaurant could really use an upgrade. The service was top-notch, we didn't have to wait long for the food, and the restaurant itself looked neat. But the food itself? A lukewarm hamburger bun with lukewarm fries; the bit of greenery that was supposed to be a salad looked like a wilted lettuce leaf with a stray tomato. No, not recommended!

Ordered Loadedfries with beef stew today. It was on the table after just 3 minutes. The fries were tough and cold, so they had been sitting in the container for a while. The beef stew was warm, but the sauce and onions on top were sour. It was no longer good. The sauce had probably been sitting outside the fridge for a while! On top of that, all the tables were dirty and greasy... it was no different outside on the terrace!!! Very bad, and for that price!! Never again!!

Refusing to let a group of special education students take shelter during a severe thunderstorm because they didn't order anything is downright scandalous. You should be ashamed.

The food was tasty and hot. We didn't have to wait long. The loaded fries and goat cheese salad were well-filled. The chicken flatbread could have had a bit more chicken on it. The toasted sandwich was good.

We had a delicious meal; we went out to eat here with the family. The little one ate fresh bread rolls. The schnitzel menu was tasty, and the pulled chicken sandwich and stewed beef with fries were all delicious and fresh! We saw many bad reviews and wanted to tell you that we actually had a good experience.

We really think it's a missed opportunity that they don't sell "fun" kids' menus here like in the other restaurant. A cone of fries without a 'snack' is a bit disappointing then. (That snack could easily be vegetarian, by the way!!) The food was otherwise fine.

I'm a bit taken aback by this restaurant's new name. "Schnitzel Farm?" And then advertising a schnitzel menu while pigs roam free here? It's a bit out of date, isn't it? I'd definitely advertise vegetarian schnitzels here. Not animal-based ones.

For a restaurant calling itself a schnitzel restaurant, the chef should really practice frying schnitzel. It was deep-fried for far too long, bone dry. Besides, schnitzel doesn't belong in a deep fryer. The fries were also fried far too long. This menu costs a whopping €15. It shouldn't cost more than €7.50. It's a shame; I think it's a missed opportunity.

We had to wait over an hour for our food because we had to ask twice where it was. They forgot both times, and then we had to wait a very long time afterward. The service is definitely not good, and the price is disproportionate.

Nice restaurant in a beautiful zoo

Beautiful zoo but terrible restaurant. Waited 45 minutes for a simple order. The staff said it was very busy and they were working on the order.

The coffee taste in the latte was hard to find. It was mostly milk (I like it, but my boyfriend doesn't). The decor inside was fine, outside not special. A friendly lady behind the bar!

Waited 25 minutes for loaded fries and a hamburger platter, which was good. Unfortunately, everything was cold.

Terrible service and terrible food. The chicken flatbread had barely chicken. There where no forks left and we had to wait while the staff was downright rude about it.

The food was downright awful. The chicken sandwich? What do you mean, chicken? It was mostly onions in an unidentifiable sauce. My wife had poffertjes, probably ready-made, with a tub of Becel instead of butter. The tables weren't clean and weren't cleaned either. We've written off the Boerderij for now. Next time, we'll go back to the Buitenplaats. A restaurant in the middle of the park.

Park is great. But in the catering almost no healthy options, nothing is fresh and the whole incl. children's play corners is in need of a makeover. A shame in what is otherwise a beautiful zoo.

i'm dissapointed about the food. the vega hamburger breads are not warm and the friet is really dry. +very expensive.

We ordered 2 different dishes and I have to say that it was not bad, good portion and good taste, price/quality excellent. Qwa service well, ordering yourself at the counter where you get a buzzer, then that is a shame, in the past here was also served at the table. But the quality of the food makes up for it quite well.

Delicious hamburger and a tasty sausage roll. Nice cup of coffee. Was ready quickly, but wasn't too busy. Staff friendly. Price wasn't too bad. A cup of coffee and tea with an apple pie was even more expensive the day before on a terrace somewhere else.

3x Hamburger menu 1x portion of bitterballen (7 pieces) Coke €49.10 Fries 8.5/10 Large portion of fresh fries (with skin) with the menus. Burger 5/10 Sandwich is great, nice and big. Toping also good. But the temperature of the burger (something you often read about here) was below standard. Lukewarm and in some places even slightly cold. Menus came with coleslaw & mayonnaise. Fries must be salted to taste. Portion (7) bitterballen 10/10 Tasty, hot (as you expect) Waiting time +/- 30 minutes while it was really quiet. It was somewhat surprising that the hamburger was not completely/partly warm. But all in all, we ate well and certainly didn't leave the zoo hungry. A great day anyway!

Tasty apple pie and good coffee...

All the catering facilities in the Amersfoort zoo detract from the beautiful park. It's all dreary in throwaway service. Simply serve coffee in a real coffee cup. Pastries remain unappealing and probably come straight from the Makro freezer. Furthermore, the entire range is mainly unhealthy and not child-friendly. And there is nothing to play inside in the winter, except a demolished toy kitchen without toys. Two stars for the always friendly boys and girls who work hard and that it is generally well equipped, even when it is busy. A little more love and attention to the catering industry here at the park would make it so much better and complete it!

delicious pastries! Very nice lighting and decorations outside during the Christmas holidays, care and attention has been paid to this. 2FINE played on the Warm Winter Evening in Amersfoort Zoo and I really enjoyed these great guys who sing and play so full of feeling and power and so clearly and also have visible fun together and get energy from MAKING MUSIC together! delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream :-)

Staff friendly, food mediocre. We ordered paninis, which seemed to have been refrozen after being thawed. The ham tasted very bad. Not recommended, a 'ready-made' restaurant.

We had to wait 45 minutes for two children's menus and two hamburger sandwiches. It's amazing that something like this can be done with such a simple card. A quick look at previous reviews shows that this apparently happens regularly. It is sad to see that this eatery is apparently run in such an amateurish manner, and that the management of Amersfoort Zoo does not seem to do anything about it. If the park really plans to become the Best Outing in the Netherlands 2023, I suggest that they first improve their catering services.

We like the hamburger there. And the chicken nuggets.
