Highly recommended! I went to Nur Nawroz in The Hague – and it was simply fantastic! The food is authentic, fresh, and incredibly delicious. I was particularly impressed by the freshly baked bread, the grilled meats, and the generous side dishes like soup, salad, and tea. The portions are huge, the prices are absolutely fair, and the staff is friendly and attentive. You can tell the cooking is done with passion. If you like authentic Iraqi-Kurdish cuisine, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

I ate a kebab similar to Adana kebab. It was very nice. Clean, good service. I recommend it.

I was really pleasantly surprised! The food was incredibly delicious – you can tell that the food is cooked with fresh ingredients and lots of love. I especially liked how short the wait was – I'd barely ordered before the food arrived. Perfect when you're hungry and don't want to wait long! The service was also top-notch: The staff were friendly, attentive, and well-organized. You immediately feel welcome and well-taken care of. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – I highly recommend it!

Through my experience at the restaurant, the reception and welcome were very nice!! The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, and the presentation is organized and pleasing. The service is excellent. The workers are very respectful and their treatment is very elegant. The place is nice and tidy with a special wing for families. I advise anyone to try it.

Old bread and poor quality. And bad service

We have eaten here many times in the past and regularly came for Iraqi kebab as a regular restaurant but the last two times it was really nasty. The meat smelled and had a bad aftertaste as if the meat was old/spoiled or half cooked. We had doubts recently and thought it might be a one-time thing, but the last time was the same again. We definitely won't eat here again!

The best Iraqi Kebab and fresh bread for years.

I had Mix grill and tikka kebab lamb +3 ayran 54€ Meat was dry, liver was bloody and little taste. With the previous owner you still got humus and sauce/pickle salad for this money. Too bad no repeat for me!

We have been coming here for 11 years, the Kurdish kebab is delicious, you get free bread from the house at the end. The staff is very nice, when we calculate they always give our children a lollipop. I definitely recommend it!

Honestly, the old days were better

The kebab tasted like burnt sawdust. The biryani was nothing but rice and peas, not fresh and cold at all, and had nothing to do with biryani. The kouzi was a piece of meat soaked in cold water. The bread was cold. The food was inedible. We tasted it and paid for it, but didn't finish it. We don't recommend going there.

The restaurant owners are Iraqi wolves. There are local tastes and kebab varieties. The bread and lentil soup they make is very delicious. There is no presentation on the grill, but the taste is very good. Prices are very reasonable. A place to go with the family. Only the hygiene issue is a bit inadequate.

It is really rare to find amazing service with amazing atmosphere and for sure serving delicious food. This Iraki place is a gem in the Netherlands I came for take away and they offered me both Tea and Lentil soup ( a warm soup in this rainy cold day is a blessing) Thanks to all the people working here شكرا للجميع و الله يوفق و يبارك

A good Halal Iraqi streetfood restaurant having kabab as their specialty dish. Also their spareribs are quite good. As a hospitality gesture, the black tea, pickled veggies and bowl of lentil soup are always included and served straight away. The flatbread that you get with your dish is quite huge, very freshly baked in the stone or clay oven, and oh so delicious. The kabab is really good. Good food, good price. Highly recommended.

You can't have the same meal for the same price twice you always expect to eat it for higher price next time you visit the restaurant, the food quality became poor the last couple of months 👎🏻

We came here on a whim and I ordered a kebab with rice. We got a nice lentil soup, bread and after that the kebab with rice and the lamb which were prepared very nicely. Overall a good experience and the people were very friendly too! Would come again if I lived in the neighbourhood. Price is very reasonable too (EUR 15-16,- per dish)

Dit is ECHT heerlijk, typisch Koerdisch eten, typisch Koerdische kebab. Beter dan dit krijg je volgens mij niet in Nederland. Wij zijn al jaren fan! Personeel is vriendelijk en vlot. Zodra je besteld hebt krijg je een heerlijk soepje en warm vers gemaakt brood, gratis van t huis. Een service die je nergens anders treft. Dit is om je klanten welkom te heten en ze niet met een lege maag lang te laten wachten. Bij elk ander restaurant krijg je direct al je bestelde drinken, laaaaang voordat je eten komt. Zodat je ofwel je drankje op hebt tegen de tijd dat je eten er eindelijk is, en je lekker weer een nieuwe mag bestellen bij je eten, ofwel je drankje is warm tegen de tijd dat je kan eten. Bij nawroz laten ze je trouwens niet eens zo lang wachten.. had precies genoeg soep gegeten en ze kwamen al met het heerlijke eten. Als ik hier sommige reviews zie van mensen die negatief zijn over de kebab.. deze mensen kennen alleen turkse adana kebab.. dat is heel wat anders dan koerdische kebab, moet je helemaal niet met elkaar vergelijken. Sowieso heeft de turkse en koerdische keuken veel overeenkomsten qua naam en vorm van gerechten, maar de smaak is totaal anders en je moet dan ook niet met turks eten in gedachten naar Newroz gaan. Lang verhaal kort: elk gerecht wat ik hier ooit heb gehad is verrukkelijk, grote porties, prijzen zijn absoluut netjes en betaalbaar en supervriendelijk personeel. En als je kinderen bij je hebt krijgen ze altijd speciaal aandacht, en vaak ook iets lekkers of iets van het huis. Toppers zijn jullie, Hopelijk blijven jullie altijd zo goed en heeeeel lang bestaan.

It was my first time in here but definitely I'll remember this place. I came here after a search for persian food in den haag. But when I arrived I asked one other persian customer what is a good one to ear here. I ate "abgooshte maahiche" here which was very fast, tasty, well-cooked and really enough for two person each. The side dishes were also quite rich, and not to mention that "chai"😍 after.
