Absolutely great Reminds is of fond memories in Kailash Parbat, Colaba, Mumbai. Great food and Great Service. Try Vada Pav, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Aaloo Chat, Falooda Kulfi, Gulab Jamun, Chai, and many more Mumbai favorites. Would love to visit again.

Very much overpriced for the food they give, and service is average at best

Compared to other locations (e.g. Singapore), the taste of the food here is mediocre. Had pani puri, all of the six of which were filled with some non-descript sev, and all were flat (not spherical) with holes therefore none held water. The bhel was without taste, also didn't help that kurmura was stale. Another disappointment was chhole out of chhole bhature, bhature were ok, chhole again lacked the Indian taste. I had been to this exact place last year when I found the food to be great. It's sad to see such a deterioration so fast.

19th Dec: After many visits, I must say they have improving the quality and have also upgraded the menu. Tried their Thecha Paneer Tikka. And also winter special off the menu.. Sarso Saag and Makai Roti... Just amazing. --------few years back----: Pure Veg and Lot of Jain options available. Some dishes are really good and value for money and some are not. Had visited 3 times so far but none of the times Sol kadi was available. Vada Pav, Dabeli, Pav Bhaji, Bhatura platter are good. Ragda Pattice, Dahi Puri is ok.

Very disappointing experience. The sev puri was poorly made—raw potatoes, cucumber (which felt odd), and just blobs of chutney. The mango lassi was overpriced at €6.50 for a small bottle. Definitely not recommended.

I liked Kailash a lot, but I went yesterday and honestly the quality dropped a lot. They certainly changed the mango lassi recipe, the food was also different, for the worse. Unfortunately it was a restaurant that we frequented many times, but yesterday was the last time.

I recently dined at this restaurant on last Sunday. The ambience was lovely, and the food was amazing. However there were two waitresses who lacks proper training on serving the customer. We were in between of finishing our main course and one of the waitress came to ask if she can bring the dessert now 😂. They both seemed to be condescending.

What a wonderful pure vegetarian restaurant! The food was so delicious that it reminded me of the flavours of my homeland, India. We ordered multiple items, including vada pav, dabeli, dahi chaat, tea, chole bhature, and ice cream. It’s essential to make a reservation here because almost all the tables are booked in advance. During our first visit to Amsterdam, we didn't know a reservation was required, but we were lucky to get a table temporarily. On our next visit, we made a reservation, making our dining experience much more comfortable.

Amazing Indian food. Each dish that we ordered has more or less similar taste as we eat back in India. Must visit if u crave Indian food in Amsterdam. We visited as a group and had an amazing time. They have vegan ,Jains options and they craft food if you have restricted diet. Much appreciated!!

We tried Panipuri, aloo tikki and paneer manchurian. The taste is really amazing, it feels like if I am eating in India. Also tried the chaat platter. Only thing I feel that they add saunf to Mango lassi which I found a bit weird.

Great restaurant to enjoy vegetarian Indian dishes from various regions. Some of the items have very authentic taste, others are passable. High on hygiene, recommended for vegetarians.

Went with high hope but it was so average, the food and feel of the place. The staff was not very approachable specially the person on reception. Rest were still okay. We were there on Saturday November 1st.

Absolutely incredible experience! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant felt like a warm hug! Food was good. We order a lot of items as we were hungry. There are a lot of tables stuffed into a small area, but the staff did a good job of serving and accommodating.

We went there on Sunday afternoon and realise that they offer only very small menu on Sunday between 2:30 to 5: 30 or something. There wasn't even Naan or paratha on the menu. Only one paneer sabji. The quality wasn't that great as well.

I ordered food via uber eats. The order was incomplete. They only gave me the pav and no bhajji. Also they just gave me the Patice, no Ragda. Upon calling them they agreed that they’ve made a mistake but then asked me to reorder something small from uber so that they can send the missing items from the previous order. They also try to blame their staff of being young and part-timers instead of taking responsibility. In the end to create such a helpless scenario for a customer is unheard of.

Nice restaurant with a small little terasse overlooking a channel. Unfortunately even the food that wasn't marked as specifically spicy was beyond my spice tolerance. So I guess be aware of high spice levels if you have a european palate.

The food is good and the price is value for money. Staff is super friendly. Point of attention, they use extreme lot of garlic in palak paneer, Bada pav and more to a point it diminishes the great taste of fast food. . One might regret ordering these items :-(

One of the best Indian Restaurant I found in abroad. Visited lots of places London, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Austria, Germamy, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Netherlands. But some place we find food delicious but staff not good then in some place staff good but less space. But this Kailash Parbat in Amsterdam is one of the best have all thing perfect food was delicious, staff were well respectful and ambiance was awesome. Went two times same place because of that. We ordered multiple food: Manchurian: was very good schezwan hakka noodles : was bit disappointed as those were not noddles but vermicelli and quantity was not much. Vada pao: that was pretty authentic Dahi papdi chat: that was good too. Jaljeera: not good should have listened the server. Would suggest to ask the server what is good and then order.

The food and service were great. However, I find it very odd that at a pure veg Indian restaurant such as Kailash parbat employs staff who in fact do consume meat. This is counterintuitive to the concept of the restaurant as me being a pure vegetarian don’t wanna eat food served by people who aren’t vegetarian. In my opinion, the staff should be strictly vegetarian people only. This is highly unprofessional.

The food was amazing & very versatile. Rich & unique flavor. The staff was amazing as well particularly our host Ahmed. Highly recommended if you want to experience authentic Indian cuisine.

We were welcomed in and after about 10 minutes looking at the menu the waiter only then decides to tell us only 5 things are available on the menu. Wasted both of our time and could have been communicated sooner.

The Food was just like I remembered it from India! The service was a little chaotic but tried their very best to fulfill our wishes in a kind and forthcoming manner. We were seated outside, quiet and directly at the water. We had Samosa Chaat (extra delicious), Pani Puri, pav Bhaji, Cheese Naan(extra delicious), Chole Bhature, Mushroom Masala.

Tried Kailash Parbat and the food was really good. I had pani puri and cheese chili toast — loved the pani puri, the cheese toast was okay. Service could definitely be improved, but overall it’s a nice place if you’re craving chaat.

The food quality has tremendously gone down. Went for dinner tonight and it was so disappointing. I have been a regular at Kailash Parbat and every time it’s just getting worse .

I’ve had good experiences here before, but this time the food didn’t meet expectations. The chilli paneer was unusually hard, and the noodles were undercooked. Hopefully, this was just an off day. I trust the team will take this feedback constructively and return to their usual high standards.

One of the best Indian restaurant visited out of India Authentic food, great service and courteous staff.

Average food : chat was spicy, dal and fried rice were as expected Active young men were serving the food. No issue. They were humble and polite Atmosphere was more noisy and slightly congested. Floor laminates were chipped off here and there though the restaurant was just 2 years old. But no complaints about the washrooms.

We had a table outside. The service was fast and helpful. The menu was a bit confusing, but we received good explanations and advice. The food was truly excellent and affordable.

We enjoyed our dinner here at Kailash Parbat 😊 Food that we ordered, service and atmosphere was all good. There are a few tables which have the canal view 😊 Not sure about the parking options if you come by a drive but the train station is close by.

The food is very good, but the menu is almost completely incomprehensible unless you already know the names of the dishes and ingredients in Hindi. It's also illogically organized; for example, it's unclear what constitutes a starter, side dish, or main course. We couldn't order in Dutch either. Everything is vegetarian, which you only discover when you look for lamb madras on the menu, which isn't available. Fortunately, it doesn't matter much, because even if you try a dish with your eyes closed, it's almost always delicious. The espresso I ordered afterward, however, absolutely didn't deserve that name; it looked and tasted more like a weak cup of Senseo. Point for improvement: I'd like a menu that non-Indians can also order without assistance, with headings categorized not by geographical region but by starter, main, and side dishes, and with the ingredients listed in Dutch.

I’ve been visiting Kailash Parbat Amsterdam for a few years now, and sadly, the quality has been consistently dropping over time. On my recent visit, the food was a real disappointment. Everything was presented sloppily, most of it arrived cold, and there was a serious lack of flavor. The Dahi Bhalla I ordered was especially bad — soggy, bland, and completely lacking the freshness and taste it should have. For a place known for Indian street food, the experience was underwhelming. It’s frustrating to see a once-reliable spot go so far downhill. Definitely not worth the visit anymore.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant, you really get great value for your money. Service was very quick and very kind. We had the Veg Kadai, kofte e dilbar, paired with cheese naan and crispy spicy potatoes. It was really good. Bit spicy but nothing we couldn’t handle. Seating was extremely cosy. We sat outside on the balcony area, facing the water.

This is a truly exceptional place. It takes you right back to Bombay. Amsterdam rain deserved a place with chai and chaat. The pao bhaji was chowpaty good. Pani puri served with the right flavours . And best part, our kind and friendly server Ahmed . Swaad aa gaya ! Ek number

I visited this restaurant with colleagues and we had an enjoyable dinner. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my expensive sunglasses on the middle of our table when we left. I called the restaurant shortly after, but they claimed nothing was found. Given that we were seven people, and the table was packed with plates and glasses, it’s hard to believe staff wouldn’t notice something like sunglasses during cleanup. The way this was handled left me very disappointed. I advise future guests: do not leave any valuable items behind — you might not get them back, and the staff won't take responsibility.

we went there the second time around yesterday and it wasnt as good an experience as last time. First off, we ordered masala chai (tea) so that we get the tea before the food. we also ordered chole bhature after a while but they still managed to give both the items together. And I didnt really like the tea that much. next off, we ordered masala chaas and schezwan hakka noodles. They got the chaas but the noodles never came even after reminding them. we waited almost 30 min for the order and then just cancelled our order. Turns out they have a very big group come into the restaurant and they basically got overwhelmed with the big group. So, maybe be careful of getting your food on time when a big group comes in to dine.

Amazing food! We were a big group of nearly 15 people, there was a lot of food on the table and I enjoyed everything I ate! Special shoutout to the refreshing Guava Chili drink, the Lemon Cilantro soup, the Chola Bhattura platter, the Gobi Manchurian and the Bhindi Masala. Atmosphere was great. Nice Ambience.... Good ambiance with a decent tasting indian cuisine hence the average stars. What's utterly disappointing is the service. The food prices are on the higher side compared to other indian restaurants in Amsterdam but the service on the other hand is way way poor. From taking more than 40 mins to provide the main course and then another 20 mins for dessert to out right not having a basic salt/pepper shaker. I'm amazed and can't wrap my head around, how a restaurant this highly rated and costly cant afford to keep a salt shaker for their customers. I'm mostly out of words here. Once a good restaurant that I use to recommend to others is not something I would actively request people never to step a foot into. I deeply regretted my decision to pay a bill of 121.75 Euros for a place that doesn't even have a simple salt shaker(image below).

To be honest, being a mumbaikar - This joint really disappointed me with regards to food taste! Don't get me wrong- it is not bad for a person who has not tasted good Indian food, but it isn't one of the best! Kailash Parbat in Mumbai, India has one of the best street foods and , sadly - compared to that- this one does disappoint quite a bit - I think this franchisee isn't certified to the taste standards or it's just another franchisee ... Not all bad - Dahi vada and bhel are acceptable ( good for those who haven't had the best) A special mention that all the pani puris are always broken enough to not hold water (its intended to do that and boy you have to pay inspite of reporting this to be taken care next time) and it is on the expensive side, too! Not coming back here!

I used to love the food from this restaurant but it’s now sadly a victim of its own success. Ordered food to pick up at 530pm - instead of the freshly made dishes I am used to - I got chewy old naan and lunchtime leftovers as the food wasn’t even hot. Very very disappointing.

When we’ve eaten at the restaurant we did not experience any issues. However, I would not recommend ordering via delivery. The Mix Chaat that we received was stale - the yoghurt hard and had no taste. They were kind of enough to send us a PavBhaji (for which we had to do a minimum order of 18euros!). This came delivered spilled in the bag and cold. I will not order from them again. Sorry.

Kailash Parbat truly feels like a slice of India. On our first visit, we ordered the Chef’s Special Paneer Lababdar with roti and chili garlic naan — everything was delicious! The roti was fresh and perfectly made. But the highlight of the meal was definitely the masala chaas — it was absolutely amazing! We loved the food so much that we returned the next day for dinner. This time, we tried the KP Chaat Platter — a must-try! The Manchow Soup was flavorful, and the Tawa Pulav was packed with taste and spices, just how we like it. Their Chilli Cauliflower also stood out — crispy and well-seasoned. The service deserves a special mention — incredibly fast and efficient. Overall, we were super satisfied with both the food and hospitality. Highly recommended — a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food!

The chole bhature and gulab jamun were outstanding - the best I've had in a long time. The staff were welcoming, and the service was prompt. I'm definitely trying the vada pav on my next visit. My only gripe is that the route to the toilet on the lower level is a bit of an eyesore.

We been there while visiting Amsterdam, atmosphere and the staff was so friendly, most importantly the food was so delicious exactly the same taste of India. Living in London from last few years never ever had Indian food and taste in London but I am glad we found that in Amsterdam. I must say please visit Kailash, who wants food pure vegetarian.
