The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends or simply enjoying some alone time. The coffee here is exceptional—each cup is brewed to perfection, with rich, bold flavors that truly stand out. They also offer a fantastic selection of teas and pastries, all fresh and delicious. Kaldi has absolutely lovely coffee! I treated myself to a Caramel Latte with Oat milk. They have a wide selection of machines, accessories, and coffee beans! Newsha was so kind and helpful, always giving service with a smile! I would recommend coming here, I’ll be back when I’m next in Amsterdam!! 💛

I never trust a 5 star rating on Google but Kaldi would surely be worth a 5 star! The place is cosy and their coffee is amazing! The card machine was not working with all the cards I have with me but I've only got very limited cash (like less than €2), all staffs were worry-less and prepared me a perfect cup of coffee with treats! I'm truly impressed!

Amazing coffee and quality. Very nice service and very sweet couple running this shop.

We walked by this shop and noticed the machines lining a shelf. Since my wife sells them and I have two at home we decided to check out what they had. The owner talked with us about the Sage (Breville) machines and we discussed settings and such. We were on our way for a quick bite down the street and a record store visit but promised to return and we did. The owners are great, we had fantastic coffee and only wish we had time for a second cup. Thank you!

We headed over due to the great reviews and had a very warm welcome from the gentleman and lady working there (the owners I believe) We wanted some cold coffee, and the owner suggested his signature slush coffee, I can honestly say it is the best iced coffee drink we've ever had. It's a cute coffee shop run by a husband and wife, who are lovely to chat with. The prices are great for Amsterdam, there's a nice bathroom, and amazing coffee (I had a cappuccino for €3.50). Definitely worth a quick stop, or a relaxed breakfast/lunch

Went with a friend for a deal that she had for a coffee, and service was amazing. The owners (I believe) were very kind and greeted us right away, even cracked some jokes. I ordered the dirty matcha chia latte (a combo i thought i wouldn't see but I love both matcha and dirty chia). They also have other great combos and we tried a bit of the iced cappuccino (will be coming back during warmer weather to buy one). Overall, great atmosphere and service and latte was nice too. Various options for milk (I just got regular tho)

Excellent oat flat white, different flavor than the other two coffee shops on this block, worth a visit. Vibe is like a bookstore, great for a daytime beverage, bright lighting if that’s your thing.

Was in Amsterdam for a week. Went there every morning with my wife for a hot chocolate, coke zero, double cappuccino, and cookies. Only place in Amsterdam I visited more than once. Incredibly friendly couple running the place. Small tables up front and larger ones in back. Lots of coffee supplies for sale. A group of regulars every day (with their friendly dogs). If you visit more than once then you will also feel like a regular. Hope to return to Amsterdam and will return to Kaldi.

To be honest, I had always overlooked this place every time I was in Amsterdam. I had passed it several times and thought to myself, probably a tourist trap. Couldn't be more wrong... I don't know if it's the beans or the machine, if you drink black coffee, you can drink one of the best in Europe. Not too acidic or earthy, but also strong, it fits pretty well with the dessert pairing. Although it is not dirt cheap, the prices are fairly great for Amsterdam. Absolutely recommended...

Came here for vacation. Discovered this place on day 2. Ended up coming back 3 more times. The iced cappuccino is awesome, the ham and cheese croissant is also awesome. Great owners as well. Highly recommend

This coffee is adorable and perfect for a savory or sweet breakfast. The coffees are numerous and deliciously prepared. The same goes for the sandwiches offered which are homemade with Dutch cheese. The two people who run the cafe are kind and attentive. I absolutely recommend this Kaldi to you among the others.

The 5-star reviews are real. My wife and I were staying at a nearby hotel so we kind of just lucked into going here the first time but boy were we happy that we did. Food, service, and atmosphere were all great but the real highlight is the lovely couple running the shop. Apparently they don’t have other employees so you are sure to run into them if you go. Please do yourself a favor and stop in for an expertly made coffee drink and a chat. Your day will be better for having stopped by.

Beth and Basil are just lovely and interesting people who are always up for a chat. Coffee is great and they give fantastic advice on coffee machines, filter coffee and other gadgets. They have a wonderful selection of roasted beans and various teas, I'm sure everyone will find something to their liking! Open early which is a winner.

A wonderful cafe with a traditional feel. The owners are a treasure and make you feel the love that goes into everything they do. The coffee never fails, never faults and has great consistency. I always take a flat white. Their pastries are eye catching AND delicious! Now let’s talk about the cheese toasted sandwiches for a moment… Yes the doctor did order them for you. Kimchi toasted sandwich was a very big hit, and the classic ham ‘n cheese gave me ratatouille vibes. If you’re in the area (you most likely are), go and say hi. P.s Dog friendly! Great selection 👌🏼
