One of my favorite small coffeeplaces. If you love Chai, u neeeeed to be there! The dirty Chai is amazing! ❤️ They also serve great coffee's as well. Very nice staff! U can drink on the spot ☕️🍰 or to go 🥤. They sell even great coffeebeans as well!

Our Cappuccino and Latte were both excellent; even better, was that they were each served with a small Stroopwafel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. Recommended!

The coffee is good and service pleasant. However; since the redesign I find it about as atmospheric as an opticiens. It has a stark white, decidedly “un gezellig” vibe with cold floors, bright white spotlights, white walls and minimal seating poorly laid out at the back so no natural light and just feels like I’m sitting in a shop not a cafe. It’s in a beautiful old Amsterdam building with art deco windows but they make nothing of that. It’s like it’s trying to pretend it’s in a modern building which is a shame as the period buildings have so much atmosphere if you work with them. For that reason I’d stick to take aways.

Good coffee and delicious pastries

One of the best coffees I've ever had. If it weren't my last day in Amsterdam, I'd be back every day. The service is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is like being at home. I'll definitely recommend it, and if I'm ever in the city again, I'll definitely come back for a coffee.

Nice cafeteria. The lady serving was a delight, kind, friendly, and chatty. I ordered a flat white and a croissant. The croissant was delicious and large. The coffee was nice and strong. I liked it.

Absolutely recommended- loved the friendly environment, the variety of cakes and coffees was absolutely tremendous- the owner was also extremely nice and hospitable, the latte which is my daily pick was of course at its outmost taste. It’s also dog friendly too, my dog has made lots of friends too.

You shouldn't miss this place if you're in Amsterdam. Cozy ambience, friendly staff, and tasty tea served with an hourglass so you know exactly how long to leave the tea bag in the cup. Sit by the window for an amazing view of the street, watching the pedestrians, cyclists, and trams go by.

I had coffee and a piece of cake for breakfast... I didn't like the coffee so much (I think it's good, but It's not really my taste), but the apple cake was really amazing, I loved it, and the guy was really kind and gentle. Finally the breakfast was really great, the place is delicious

A group of 5 people came in to have a couple of coffees since it was very cold, the guy who served us was lovely! They have a little fountain with lemon water ready at the entrance for you to help yourself to, and they allow you entry to the bathroom for €1 on the upper floor. If you consume something at the store, they give you the euro to go to the bathroom. Small but cozy cafe, I definitely recommend.

We found this coffee shop via Google reviews and it did not disappoint! It is very charming inside and Carlos the manager is a delight! He made us feel very welcome on our 1st day in Amsterdam and the coffee was exquisite!! Truly the best coffee I have ever had. Very smooth with no bitterness at all! We will be taking a bag of Kaldi coffee home with us to the U.S. They also have fresh pastries...the chocolate croissant is delicious! I highly recommend!!

The charme of the original owner and interior is completely lost since the place was sold. :( PS: The toilet door is a little see-through.

Kaldi has absolutely lovely coffee! I treated myself to a Caramel Latte with Oat milk. They have a wide selection of machines, accessories, and coffee beans! Newsha was so kind and helpful, always giving service with a smile! I would recommend coming here, I’ll be back when I’m next in Amsterdam!! 💛

I never trust a 5 star rating on Google but Kaldi would surely be worth a 5 star! The place is cosy and their coffee is amazing! The card machine was not working with all the cards I have with me but I've only got very limited cash (like less than €2), all staffs were worry-less and prepared me a perfect cup of coffee with treats! I'm truly impressed!

We walked by this shop and noticed the machines lining a shelf. Since my wife sells them and I have two at home we decided to check out what they had. The owner talked with us about the Sage (Breville) machines and we discussed settings and such. We were on our way for a quick bite down the street and a record store visit but promised to return and we did. The owners are great, we had fantastic coffee and only wish we had time for a second cup. Thank you!

It's a cute coffee shop run by a husband and wife, who are lovely to chat with. The prices are great for Amsterdam, there's a nice bathroom, and amazing coffee (I had a cappuccino for €3.50). Definitely worth a quick stop, or a relaxed breakfast/lunch

Went with a friend for a deal that she had for a coffee, and service was amazing. The owners (I believe) were very kind and greeted us right away, even cracked some jokes. I ordered the dirty matcha chia latte (a combo i thought i wouldn't see but I love both matcha and dirty chia). They also have other great combos and we tried a bit of the iced cappuccino (will be coming back during warmer weather to buy one). Overall, great atmosphere and service and latte was nice too. Various options for milk (I just got regular tho)

Excellent oat flat white, different flavor than the other two coffee shops on this block, worth a visit. Vibe is like a bookstore, great for a daytime beverage, bright lighting if that’s your thing.

Was in Amsterdam for a week. Went there every morning with my wife for a hot chocolate, coke zero, double cappuccino, and cookies. Only place in Amsterdam I visited more than once. Incredibly friendly couple running the place. Small tables up front and larger ones in back. Lots of coffee supplies for sale. A group of regulars every day (with their friendly dogs). If you visit more than once then you will also feel like a regular. Hope to return to Amsterdam and will return to Kaldi.
