Always tasty. guaranteed quality and also being able to get regular food 10 minutes after closing time. You have to try that gigantic, old-fashioned spring roll!

The Chinese neighborhood in Jordaan. Food made with love. The atmosphere is super cozy, not least because of the Chinese lady who makes everyone feel welcome. Eat there or just pick up, both highly recommended.

⭐ 1/5 Very disappointed with this order. Spent more than €100 and still several things were missing. Didn't get any prawn crackers, there was no sambal and the chicken with broccoli was just broccoli... without chicken! In addition, the food was way too salty and did not taste fresh. After eating I even had stomach problems for two days. This was the first and last time I order here. Never experienced this with Chinese food. Kam wah kam no. Ridiculously bad! Last Sunday!

It was fantastic, what a great restaurant, small but nice. A cozy atmosphere, a super friendly woman serving there. And it was very tasty, I will definitely come back here.

It was a small but incredibly beautiful restaurant away from all the hustle and bustle in the city. There wasn't much going on and the food was really tasty and cheap :) The service was also very friendly :) Thank you!

The best in Amsterdam if you like the original Dutch Chinese Indian cuisine. In addition, the owner is super friendly! Nice that this is still there. In a city where everything has to be new and different.

Nice and cozy little restaurant. We had the menu for 2 people, where you can choose 3 dishes and get satay with noodles or nasi. They were perfect portions and beautifully prepared. Friendly family and fast service. Takeaway is also possible!

Ik was sinds 2014 opzoek naar een chinees restaurant met de echte authentieke smaak. Wauw....een goede vriend raade mij dit restaurant aan. EN....wauw wauw de smaak dat eten. De ingredienten!!! Nergers in heel Nederland is dat eten zo lekker dan in dit restaurant. Van mij krijgen ze een echte DIKKE VETTE 10. ALS MEN WEET WAT ECHT LEKKER ETEN IS. DAN HEB JIJ HIER VAST WEL GEGETEN. Alles is vers klaargemaakt en smakelijk; ook de grote vegetarische loempia is heerlijk ‘knapperig’ - het vriendelijke Chinese echtpaar dat de zaak runt is echt onderdeel van onze Jordaan!

very comfortable and delicious restaurant! the prices are quite friendly even though its very close to the centre. €10 for veggies with sauce, egg and rice+ coke for around €2. it was a very nice portion i could not even finish it. reccomend. the satff is very friendly too

Definitely one of the best places to take out food, they used to be closed on Saturdays which was always a disappointment for me, but my wishes have been heard. I will always go for their spring rolls and try something different from the menu whenever I can.

Vandaag met mijn vrouw uit eten geweest. Meestal halen we af, dit keer zaten we ontspannen te genieten in het restaurant. Ons favoriete restaurant met de leukste gastvrouw en beste chef! Hopelijk kunnen we snel weer!

Onze vaste afhaal toen we nog in de Jordaan woonden. Fijn om te zien dat ze na al die jaren nog steeds fantastisch zijn! Prijsnummer is wat mij betreft de Babi Ketjap, die vind je nergens beter!

Komen hier al jaren. Was lang geleden. Tafels stonden met de stoelen omgekeerd er bovenop, duidelijk nog steeds de afhaalchinees in de Jordaan. Maar de eigenaresse maakte snel een tafeltje gereed. Eten was goed maar minder dan vroeger. Ook hier heeft corona geleid tot aanpassingen.

Een klein winkeltje in de Jordaan 1 van de weinige Chinees restaurant niet duur en heerlijk eten de moeite waard om langs te gaan .

Prettig verrast, de loempia was perfect.

Altijd goed en gezellig personeel

Lekker eten bij een gezellig klein restaurant. Zowel afhaal als aan tafel. Aardige dame die je order aanneemt. Prettige sfeer en na de verbouwing zelfs meer ruimte. Ja, het is klein, maar dat heeft tevens zijn charme. Kortom, even langsgaan voor je meeneemmaaltijd of gewoon lekker gaan zitten om te gaan eten. Ik ben blij dat dit restaurant er nog gewoon is in de buurt.

Geweldige service, klein maar héérlijk eten

Zoals altijd heerlijk gegeten bij Kam Wah. Hele lieve en gastvrije mensen. Het restaurant is net gerenoveerd en de sfeer is altijd goed.

Beste Chinees van de stad, al jaren vaste klant. De eigenaresse is altijd bereid om te helpen, graag een praatje. Geen vette slaape hap zoals soms elders. Mooi verbouwd recent ook.

Kam Wah is one of only two Chinese restaurants located in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam. It has been in existence for many years. Although not on par with the eateries of Chinatown, the food is simple but tasty. The menu offers a choice of Chinese and Indonesian dishes. Kam Wah caters predominantly to the local takeaway market, but have thus far avoided using any of the major delivery services. Guests are able to order by telephone in advance of collection. The restaurant's interior is drab and uninviting and could certainly make use of a makeover. Due to the small frontage of the building, outside there is only room for a solitary table seating just 2 persons.

Its a okay restaurant with an average quality food. I really doubt some of their dishes freshly get cooked, like peking duck. We tried this as it was near our home and seems promising from the reviews. There are couple of things: They are not serving chinese food. Its Indonesian/fusion food. This is also very misleading from the menu and the name of the restaurant. It has a chinese name while they don’t have a basic chinese fried rice! Last not but least, the prices don’t really go well with the quality. I suggest the owner of this restaurant, pump up their quality. This shop can do alot better in this area with it’s location.

Lekkere Chinees, aardige dame, we eten hier vaker.

The place looks a bit shabby, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and tastyness of the food. I had an order of Pa Po Tou Fu (tasty mix of cabbage and fried tofu), and fried mihoun (rice noodles) with vegetables, with a side of Atjar (sweet and sour cabbage with curcuma and carrots). Recommended! Tip: take mihoun (fried thin rice noodles), bami (fried wheat noodles) or nasi (fried rice) instead of white rice for a small surcharge.
