Cold order, late, and only half delivered. Had to follow up by phone myself. Edit: refuses a refund and still hasn't delivered. Is therefore in default and has not proposed a (reliable and good) solution themselves either.

Ordered food. After 1.5 hours, it still hasn't arrived. No one is reachable by phone. Called multiple times. If only I could cancel. I will never order from here again. The answering machine plays music and keeps saying you are first in line. But no one answers.

Waited over 2 hours for the order. It was incomplete. Truly absurd prices for the quality of the products, which is, to put it mildly, idiotic. I wouldn't feed this to many a herd.

The food takes forever to be delivered, seriously, do not order from them. It would just be waste of your time and money.

I ordered food around 7pm, expected delivery by 8pm. It’s now 8:55pm and still no food. When I call the kitchen they tell me the food is on the way and is maybe coming, and then they hang up. I’m not sure what customer experience they are aiming for but I won’t be ordering here again.

This has NEVER happened to us before, but the food we received was so terrible that after just one or two bites, we simply couldn’t eat any more of it and had to throw it away. We absolutely love Indian cuisine and have eaten at many different Indian restaurants countless times, but we have never experienced such poor-quality, bland and unappetizing food before. The saag de paneer was some kind of watery, unpleasant-tasting mess, while there was practically no trace of spices in the tarka dal. At most, they may have added a little turmeric just to give it some color, but otherwise it was a completely tasteless, watery, unidentifiable substance. What was also unbelievable to us is that I am almost certain they did not make and bake the naan fresh on site. Instead, it seemed like they used pre-made, store-bought naan that they simply put in the oven to heat up. It was dry and burnt. And to top it all off, the food took around 90 minutes to arrive (of course, this was not the delivery time promised by the app), and the whole order cost €55. NEVER AGAIN!!! We will never order from here again, and I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone!!!

Ordered via uber eats, 2 chicken biryani. We got 1kg of spiced rice with maybe 6 pieces of inedible chicken in it. Terrible food. Avoid at all costs.

Today I ordered from this place via Thuisbezorgd for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. The food was very tasteless, and furthermore, part of my order was missing. When I called to report this politely, I was treated completely unprofessionally. Instead of offering a solution, both the delivery driver and the owner started shouting at me. Threatening remarks were even made, including telling me not to “act tough.” I find that unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but the way customers are treated says everything about a company. I had hoped for a polite solution, but instead received an aggressive and intimidating response. Based on this experience, I will not order from here again, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

The food was crap. Nobody makes chicken that looks so pathetically red. Horrendous. No value for money either. Please don't con people out of money like this.

Our family loves the food here. Always delicious. So many options, and often free extras too. Quite surprised by the bad reviews because we have never had a problem with our orders. Deserves a higher rating.

Delivery was great, the food unfortunately a bit less so. The butter chicken was so dry that the sauce had to work overtime, but it resembled soup more than a curry. A shame, because fast delivery alone doesn't make the food any tastier.

Never order through their own site. Half of the order wasn’t delivered, called them, “we’ll send later”, never came, next day call again, “we’ll send today”, never came. Scam. With Thuisbezorgd you get at least money back, own site they just steal your money and not deliver the food

The takeaway discounts are fake and the customer service was terrible. The food was also quite bad.

Ordered something here for the first time yesterday. Sorry, but it was such a disappointment! The discount on the samosa hadn't been applied. I sent a message about it, but received no response. The chicken samosa wasn't tasty either. The shrimp curry was nothing but oil! So I didn't eat that either! The shrimp were also very soft. The delivery person barely said hello and left immediately. Very unfriendly. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Very disappointing experience. The product quality was poor, and the promotional offer (2x1) was not honored: they only delivered a single item, which feels misleading. To start with food arrived late. About food: The description of dish says Indo-chinese fried rice, far from what we get in India. It was not chicken fried rice at all, it is just a Cumin flavoured rice with chicken pieces on top of it. Disappointed!!!

The paneer tikka masala is absolutely inedible. The paneer is tough, and the curry is a bland sauce with a nasty flavor. The naan also had absolutely no flavor. This was a real waste of money.

I called, and the employee gave excuses, saying it would be there in 10 minutes. I told them I'd already ordered an hour and a half in advance. A little later, he started saying it wasn't his fault and kept repeating this about a hundred times. When the food finally arrived, he started boasting about how he'd give us free food next time, that this was his boss's fault, that he'd be angry with his boss, and that he didn't care if he got into trouble. All in all, the food arrived 75 minutes late, was cold, and of poor quality. I've never had such a bizarre service experience.

Scores a 4.4 on Thuisbezorgd. Don't believe it. Butter chicken is as watery as diarrhea. That's exactly what you get after eating that butter chicken. I've honestly never had such disgusting butter chicken. Even the ready-made one from Albert Heijn is ten times better.

I ordered food for 6:30, and called at 7:00 to ask if it was coming. Someone on the line didn't speak Dutch, snapped at my address, and then hung up. Dramatic. Overall, the food is good. The service is subpar.

I had the student menu 7 delivered to my home. The ingredients were disappointing. Rice with a curry sauce and only 4 pieces of chicken. No vegetables in sight. Twenty euros for white rice with a sauce is a bit pricey. It was delivered on time, though.

Update 10 months later: Kashmir kitchen might be my most ordered delivery since moving to Utrecht a year and a half ago. They have been there for me in sickness and health. We ordered takeaway, it came quite fast but the food is super expensive and not that good. We ordered the butter chicken and it’s extremely runny with almost no chicken for 30 euros. Also the naan was soggy and had almost no taste at all. Such a scam

45 minutes late despite ordering early, called multiple times to cancel, couldn't wait. The taste was okay, but literally 4 pieces of chicken! It is supposed to be called 4 small bowls with watery sauce and a few pieces of chicken. Way too expensive, first time and definitely never again. P.S. the naan was just like chewing gum, 90 euros wasted.

Huge disappointment. The butter chicken was a watery mess, with 4-5 sad little pieces of dry chicken (approx. 100g). Without a buy-one-get-one-free offer, you would have to pay 20 euros per person for this, which is absurd. Most microwave meals surpass this dish for a fraction of the price.

Have delicious food delivered from this restaurant, despite the prices/costs. The promised delivery time on the website was 1 hour. Called after 1.5 hours and finally delivered after 1.45 hours. Once at the table. No sauces or dessert delivered, which is part of the menu. Call again, the sauce will be delivered later...(mustard after meal)! Finally spoke to the manager and he added something extra. More than extra sauces with lots of extras arrived. Grateful for this recognition.

Ordered via home delivery. 2 hours late and the food was completely tasteless as if the sauce had been diluted with water. Gave 2 stars because it was okay with a previous order. The amount of korma/saag etc you get in relation to the rice is also very little. Whole bowl of rice left. Too bad there is no excuse or anything if you have to wait 2 hours.

Ordered chicken biryani, was the worst biryani I had in my life. Who the hell make Biryani with boneless chicken, if u wish to then at lest mention in menu. and it was not biryani rather was chicken/veg rice, and was way more dry (as if boiled chicken was mixed with masala rice) . And the veg biryani was having off smell. You guys should really check on what biryani is. Very disappointing. Spoiled my evening. I just dumped both biryanis ohh sorry the veg/chicken rice.

Gereserveerd met Groupon om 18:00 en bij aankomst was er geen bediening aanwezig, die kwam pas om 18:30 binnen. Het was ijskoud in de zaak en de ander gasten had ook hun jas nog aan tijdens het eten. Om 19:15 kregen we het eerste gerecht en om 19:30 het hoofdgerecht. Van all you can eet was geen sprake. Volgend de Groupon wel. Om 20:00 het restaurant zonder dessert verlaten en de kachel in de auto maar extra hoog gezet. Op het eten was niets aan te merken.

Six of us had a delicious meal here with a Groupon deal. Friendly staff. Wide choice of menu. Crispy papadums and naan. Perfect seekh kebab, butter chicken, king prawn curry and chicken tikka masala. Well prepared, large portions. The restaurant was almost empty, but the kitchen still seemed to be operating at peak activity due to the many delivered meals. That was probably why it took quite a while for the food to arrive. Toilet was out of order, which is inconvenient for a restaurant.

Kashmir Kitchen is missing... A few things. Upon entering, people are surprised to see that customers are actually coming in. Now the time was probably a bit early for an Indian Pakistani cuisine +- 6:30 PM. In the restaurant you are singled out by a colony of mosquitoes. Which actually end up on your food when you're not paying attention. The view of the square in Maarsen was seriously hindered by the extremely many grease stains on the windows that have not been touched by a window cleaner for quite some time. Asking whether the guests would like something to drink was a difficult task and I did not hear whether the food was satisfactory. We were allowed to set the table ourselves. And the prices were suddenly €0.50 more expensive than on the menu. And then I almost forgot the employee who is standing in the kitchen with a cold. (Let me stay positive and say (hope) that he was there loading the freezer or the administration. Conclusion: when you are on the A2 and you get the spontaneous idea to eat Indian food. Then it is wiser to continue driving.
