Beautiful location with a cozy garden for a lovely dinner. The menu is compact, and the selection of the various set menus was good. Allergies were also well taken into account. The service was extremely friendly, and the chef spoke passionately about his new adventure at Kasteel Eyckholt. The dishes were surprising, well-seasoned, and a treat for all the senses (unfortunately, the photos are partly shadowed and do not do justice to the actual dish). An absolute recommendation 👍

We recently celebrated our son's First Communion at Eyckholt Castle and look back on a truly fantastic experience. From the reception to the end of the party, everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The appetizers were refined and flavorful, and the dinner was also of an exceptionally high standard. All dishes were perfectly coordinated, creating a harmony of flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. What made this celebration extra special was the warm and friendly service. The staff was extremely attentive and ensured that everyone felt welcome. The children were also thought of: they were received in a very pleasant manner and given plenty of space to simply be children, which created a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. In short, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. It was a top-notch experience that we will not soon forget. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had dinner there last Saturday. We sat in the beautifully landscaped garden under the open sky, and later in the evening, fleece blankets were brought to our table for the ladies. A lovely, cozy, and stylish restaurant where we enjoyed an exceptional three-course meal, including an amuse-bouche. You should allow some time, but it's well worth it. On January 14, 2026, we (Probus Maasland) organized a New Year's Eve party (reception and dinner) at Kasteel Eyckholt in Roosteren. A beautiful, peaceful location with plenty of charm and an eye for quality, both indoors and outdoors. The organization beforehand was professional and very flexible. Changes in the number of guests were handled smoothly and correctly. The welcome was warm and friendly. The appetizers were original and refined, and the staff extremely attentive. The dinner was truly sublime: excellent dishes, beautifully presented, and expertly explained. The accompanying wine selections were also clearly and expertly explained. We dined at Kasteel Eyckholt last night with a group of eight. We'd preferred a round table, but given the number of people, that wasn't possible. Kasteel Eyckholt provided a wonderful solution by converting it into a square table. The service was excellent and friendly, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious! We'd venture to say we've never had a better meal than at Kasteel Eyckholt. A solid 10 out of 10!

This New Year's Eve wasn't as great as usual. The ambiance was beautiful and the staff fantastic. Because there were more guests than usual, dinner ran way over, and the dishes were lukewarm when served. The option to dance was a good hour late, even though this evening you choose and pay for the combination of dinner and dancing. Now it was essentially just dinner, and a price of 179 euros is far too much.

Fantastic culinary delight! With a top wine pairing, sommelier, and advice! Rarely have I eaten so well. The vegetarian dishes are outstanding, worthy of a green Michelin star!

A culinary gem discovered at a beautiful, atmospheric address: Kasteel Eyckholt in Roosteren. We were pleasantly surprised by every dish; not only did the beautifully presented plates look stunning, but the taste was too. Each course was accompanied by matching wines, and what wonderful pairings we tasted. We had chosen the chef's menu (we went for all 7 courses), which was 100% pure enjoyment. What certainly deserves to be mentioned was the passion with which the host and hostess performed their work; that made the evening complete. Thank you!

Kasteel Eyckholt is always atmospheric, but especially during the Christmas period. There is plenty of space between the tables; nevertheless, we had pleasant conversations with our fellow diners, though this was entirely on our own initiative. The welcome is warm, and the explanation of the food and wines is extensive and knowledgeable. Compliments on the accompanying wines. Kasteel Eyckholt is currently operating without a head chef, but with a very creative kitchen team that surprises with unique compositions of ingredients that lead to pleasant and surprising flavor combinations. It was a very pleasant lunch in every respect.

We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 8 people. The dishes were beautiful and flavorful. The only thing we missed with the coffee was a chocolate bonbon. The highlights were the vegetarian dish with beetroot, chard, and walnuts, and the main course of skate wing and black garlic.

We had a nice meal in a quiet ambiance. The starter and intermediate course were surprising and tasty. The main course was a bit disappointing compared to the previous two, but otherwise there was nothing wrong with it. We initially thought it was closed, but it turned out to be open.

The food and service were good. However, what bothered us greatly is that we had to pay for 17 people who had made a reservation, while 2 people were unable to attend due to health issues. We reported their absence well in advance, to which we received the excuse that supplies had been purchased and staff assigned for 17 people. A hardly credible argument, especially since it concerned their standard daily menu.

I am deducting one star for atmosphere because the roof of the conservatory where we sat makes a great deal of noise during a rain shower, which we unfortunately had. AMEX's top-notch Dining for Two restaurant. They've really nailed it! Instead of just being served a meal, you get a special menu where you can choose your own dishes and even add a dessert if you like. Amuse-bouches are also included, so the "two courses" definitely don't feel like just two courses. The staff is also excellent; very warm and friendly, and of course, the food is exceptionally delicious with matching wines.

This is a special place to cisit. There are a number of reasons for this, but the main ones are the core ones, the kitchen, and the staff. And the produce. And the. OK, it's all great and you'll enjoy every second of it. They know their stuff and helped me discover a local vineyard and this is just one of many very special times my wife and I have had at this loacation.

The castle restaurant has 2 sections, the main keep which give a romantic, old fashion castle feel and the more modern annex. We ate in the annex, nice tender meat while the starter had a nice lemon kick to it. Heard they had a new chef

The flavors were wonderfully balanced, and you can really taste the passion with which the dishes were put together. What made it even more special were the perfect wine pairings. The sommelier deserves a special mention: he not only has an enormous knowledge of wine, but also a clear passion for the profession. His advice to combine the matching wines with the dishes was really spot-on and completed the culinary experience. The white wine served with the risotto was so delicious that we took a bottle (full) home :) In addition, the staff was particularly hospitable and attentive, which made the overall atmosphere even more pleasant. What a wonderful evening my wife and I had! We went for the summer special offer but went a little further with an extra course and oysters. We had a delicious champagne to start it all and then another with the oysters. We chose a wine pairing with the meal and our waiter Stijn really took care of us with special wines and impeccable service. The food was excellent with a choice of vegetarian, fish or meat for the main course. My only complaint would be that a tortellini was a little too soft, but still very edible. It was a feast for the taste buds with so many delicious flavors and a beautiful presentation. We will definitely come back!

On 24-08-24 we experienced a fairytale wedding, which was truly “Instagram-worthy” due to the setting and decoration… We spent our entire day at Eyckholt Castle, we enjoyed lunch, the ceremony in the garden, dinner and our evening party! The locations for all this were beautiful and atmospheric, our guests went from one surprise to the next… But we especially enjoyed the very sweet, young, helpful and professional service. The food throughout the day was of a very high standard! We were really surrounded with love🥰 They even ran with some employees to get my bridal bouquet (which I had forgotten due to nerves) in the reception room before I had to walk onto the white carpet ❤️ Thanks for everything, Team Eyckholt, you are great! Last Thursday we had dinner at Eyckholt Castle in Roosteren. A very nice, atmospheric restaurant where we had a delicious meal. We had taken advantage of the July deal; 3 course menu for 39.50. We chose veal tataki, corvina as main course (fish that I think we had never had before) and 1 cheese and 1 blueberry for dessert. Normally it would have cost 44.50 and then it was certainly not too expensive. Beautiful, refined dishes, good taste, perhaps not for the big eater, but sufficient for us.

A while ago I celebrated a beautiful and fun party here as a wedding photographer. Own space for our equipment: no problem, need a high ladder for a group photo: no problem. What a service!! Food and drinks are well prepared and hostesses and hosts are friendly. Going out to eat here again. A gem in Roosteren.

We celebrated our wedding here on July 5. It was a fantastic day that was excellently organized by the location and staff. Our compliments go out to the staff who were always there for you and nothing was too much to ask. The atmosphere among the staff was also very pleasant during the day and in the evening. The quality of the food and drinks was perfect and guests' allergies were very well taken into account. The location itself was well cared for and when we unfortunately had to move inside an hour before the start of the ceremony, every effort was made to ensure that this was arranged on time and that it was also decorated very beautifully, warmly and attractively. We had an unforgettable day and can really recommend this location as a wedding location.

Geweldig culinair hoogstandje, werd rekening gehouden met 2 kinderen 6 en 8,zeer fijne bediening door jong personeel . Mooi kader , fijne tuin en terras. Heb niet telefonisch gereserveerd maar op voorhand duidelijke afspraken gemaakt.

Beautiful wedding location. We had a wedding there that was really well taken care of. Had a great dinner. If you were short of something, it was not the fault of the waiter, who politely asked what you wanted to drink every time. They were all super friendly too. No, really great there. Ons gezin heeft afgelopen week genoten van een heerlijk diner in dit restaurant. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een privékamer toegewezen, wat zorgde voor een intieme sfeer. De bediening was buitengewoon vriendelijk en attent, en onze gastheer wist veel te vertellen over de wijnen die bij de gerechten werden geserveerd. We kozen voor het 5-gangenmenu met bijpassend wijnarrangement en werden niet teleurgesteld. Elk gerecht was voortreffelijk bereid en mooi gepresenteerd. De ambiance was zeer aangenaam en de tafel was prachtig gedekt. Bovendien werd er rekening gehouden met de wensen van alle gezinsleden qua gerechten, wat we zeer op prijs stelden. Echter, de aanwezigheid van Foie gras op het menu was een teleurstelling. Hoewel we hier zelf niet voor gekozen hebben, vinden we dat een restaurant dat beweert lokale producten te gebruiken, niet zou moeten kiezen voor Foie gras vanwege de betwiste productiemethoden en het dierenleed dat ermee gepaard gaat. Ik roep dan ook op om dit van de kaart te halen en te kiezen voor duurzamere en diervriendelijkere alternatieven! Al met al was het een uitstekende ervaring, en we zullen zeker terugkomen.

Een uiterst teleurstellende ervaring. Na het aperitiefje hebben we lang moeten wachten op ons eerste drankje. We moesten vragen of er wat brood op tafel mocht en daar kregen we in eerste instantie geen boter en olie bij. Ook vielen de gerechten erg tegen qua smaak en was de bediening matig. Tevens werd er niet geluisterd naar onze wensen. 1 persoon van ons gezelschap gaf aan geen rauwe vis, zalm en eend te lusten: eerste gerechtje was rauwe vis en hoofdgerecht eend. Al met al dus absoluut geen aanrader.

Een klassiek romantische setting waar we lekker en ontspannen vegetarisch gegeten hebben. Vriendelijke gastvrouw en goede koks in de keuken.

The castle is beautifully and warmly decorated. You immediately feel at home. A beautiful fireplace and warm lighting. Very romantic too. We chose the surprise menu. And were we surprised! Delicious, honest, pure ingredients. It was one big taste festival! Your (dietary) wishes were taken into account without any problems.
