Very tasty sushi compared to my previous addresses!👌🏻

Yesterday I ordered sushi from this place for the first time. A box and some individual portions because I needed food for four people. When I picked it up, the box was handed to me from the kitchen, and it felt quite warm. When I got home, the raw fish was indeed warm, which is very bad. Eating that can really make you sick. Two people each tried a piece but refused to eat it. Raw, warm fish with a topping that ran off on a different kind is simply unacceptable. The spring rolls were soft and practically empty. There was only one solution: the garbage. I immediately called. Spoke to one employee, then spoke to the chef, who concluded: the money would be refunded tomorrow. But later that evening, I received an email from "The Boss" with a bunch of nonsense about it all being our fault and me not refunding anything. Long story short: I received bad food, three people each with a different story, and the outcome: 113 euros in the bin and a very bad feeling about this company.

Delicious sushi, and especially the hot meats like beef teriyaki and yin yang chicken are delicious. The gyoza is also very good. Nothing to complain about. But honestly, we don't understand the hype that this is the best of the best. It's simply good! The service is friendly, but we had to keep asking if we could order more food and drinks. They didn't even notice (empty glasses are supposed to be visible), even though there were three people serving. Today, the wait for our dishes was very long (30-40 minutes per round of four dishes). In summary: good food, but not the "wow" factor for us.

You guys, what we just ate is like a little angel peeing in our mouths, so *incredibly* delicious. But really, stop it. We really have to go to Echt from now on and eat sushi there. Oh, man, this is unbelievable. I've been eating sushi in the Rotterdam area for years, but I've never had it as good as here. Ladies of this fantastic restaurant, Thanks so much. We'll be back in Echt soon.

We had delicious sushi and the service was super friendly. It's not traditional sushi, but yummy; everything has its own unique twist. Just order at the table instead of filling out a slip or tablet.

The place itself is beautifully decorated, stylish, modern and yet cozy, with a relaxing atmosphere that perfectly matches the refined dishes. We took the 60-piece sushi platter with a small adjustment to our taste and that was carefully taken into account. Everything fresh, top quality and beautifully presented like a party on your plate. In addition, tempura shrimp, steak teriyaki, chicken dish, spring rolls and those divine sweet potato fries, everything packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The waitresses deserve a special mention 💫. Despite the fact that we called late and arrived just before closing time, they radiated hospitality from start to finish. They took plenty of time to explain everything in a friendly, professional and with a real love for their profession. Their service was exceptionally good: attentive, polite and with a sincere smile. You could feel that they enjoy what they do, that's how hospitality should be! (Give tips with love)🥰🙌🏽 For 6 drinks and all that delicious food we ended up at €164.40 (excluding tip) and it was worth it. Fantastic sushi and great service! We really enjoyed ourselves at Yukai in Echt! The sushi was super fresh, beautifully presented and really delicious - you can taste that there is attention and love in every dish. Especially the crispy rolls were great! 🍣 The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and modern, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything was served quickly and with a smile. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good sushi in a relaxed setting. We will definitely be back!

Enthusiastic welcome by a cheerful hostess, followed by delicious sashimi and surprising sushi; recipe for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately my wife could not eat dessert anymore because that dessert platter looked very good...!

Delicious food. On the advice of the staff, we chose a set arrangement. All different rolls. There were four of us. We were able to taste one of each type. Then we ordered the best ones again. The place is not too big. Nice and intimate. I do recommend making a reservation. It fills up quickly.

We visited Yukai for a special evening: Nikkei Night — a six-course fusion dinner blending Japanese and Peruvian flavors. Everything was perfect, from the warm service to the inviting ambiance and, of course, the food. Each dish was a flavorful adventure. Thank you to everyone at Yukai for this special evening.

Very friendly staff who serve you with love. And describe everything well when serving. The cocktails are also delicious and highly recommended. My favorite is the white martini, the lady behind the bar really knows what she's doing, chapeau! The sushi is delicious! Everything on the menu is of very good quality and freshly prepared. I can recommend everyone to go here.

Delicious food in an intimate atmosphere. An arrangement was chosen with various small starters such as pepper tempura, various sushi and a desert. The cocktails were also delicious. I enjoyed one cocktail with amaretto and lychee. It was a special experience. Reservations are necessary.

Are you a fan of Sushi and its hot derivatives? Then you really feel at home here (in Echt). Cozy little restaurant with a lot of attention from enthusiastic staff and owner. A lot of care has been taken in the presentation of the dishes. Good price/quality ratio. Cannot suggest any areas for improvement. Keep it up!

Always tasty and fun at Yukai. On Wednesdays the Pokebowls are also only €10! So we like to take advantage of that. That doesn't change the fact that we also like to eat there. Food is always beautifully prepared. Recommended!

Visited Yukai Echt for the first time. Tried Yukai to go Beek. But this comes fresh and partly warm from the kitchen straight to your plate, so it couldn't be better. Everything has its own full flavor. The tastiest sushi in the area if you ask us. Very friendly and helpful girls at the counter. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I recently had diner at Yukai, and we both absolutely loved it! The restaurant has such a cosy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed and intimate meal. The service was nothing short of impeccable—staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, it was simply delicious! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. What a nice restaurant with delicious sushi..... perhaps not recommended for people who are 'easily overstimulated'... it is small and people start talking louder to each other during the evening... we think it's great and will come definitely bad

Phenomenal dining spot in the center of Echt! Without a doubt the best ribs here. The sushi is fine, not the most special or “best” sushi I have ever eaten. In my opinion, the non-sushi dishes are what make this restaurant so great. The dynamite shrimps were fantastic. The dessert plate for 2 people was super diverse and, without exaggerating, the best dessert ever in a restaurant. The staff puts in a lot of effort and the atmosphere is very cozy. I can imagine that during the warm period you can also sit outside in the picturesque street.

Not authentic japanese sushi but it's ok. From the reviews I expected more.

Klein gezellig restaurant in Echt. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Wat wel opviel, was dat de tafels erg dicht tegen elkaar stonden, waardoor het bijna leek alsof de tafel naast ons bij ons hoorde. We konden ook hun gesprekken gewoon volgen. De kwaliteit van de sushi is prima. Helaas wel een minpunt. Wij hadden een platter van 60 stuks besteld en die kwam met maar liefst 4 verschillende vegetarische rollen, terwijl niemand van ons vegetarisch was. M.i. zouden ze hun gasten van tevoren moeten vragen of vegetarische rollen gewenst zijn.

Heerlijk gegeten, drie vriendelijke dames die de zaak volledig onder controle hadden. De porties hadden voor mij iets kleiner mogen zijn, maar alles was heerlijk, vers en mooi opgediend. Aanrader voor een ieder die van sushi houd!

Fantastisch! Het ontvangst is al meteen top! Je stapt in een hele gezellige sfeer. Niet een standaard “all-you-can-eat” waarbij kwantiteit de norm is. Maar een fijne kleinere plek waar het écht gezellig is. De gerechten zijn echt overheerlijk. Zowel de sushi als de warme gerechten. Nieuwe smaken, niet standaard sushi zoals ze zo vaak te vinden zijn. Echt een aanrader!

Vanavond voor de eerste keer bij Yukai gaan eten. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en bovengemiddeld goed. Over het eten kunnen we kort zijn; absoluut de beste sushi die we ooit gehad hebben. En al het andere was ook in 1 woord top. Leuke zaak, gezellige inrichting en heel knus. Waarom dan geen 5 sterren? Het was absurd druk. De tafeltjes stonden letterlijk 10 cm van elkaar af. Om de mensen naast ons te laten plaatsnemen aan hun tafel, moesten wij met onze tafel schuiven. Een toiletbezoekje zat er niet in. Hierdoor werd het in de zaak ook heel rumoerig (matige akoestiek) en erg benauwd. Voor een restaurant van dit (prijs)niveau verwachten we eigenlijk wel dat de eigenaar niet alleen rekening houdt met maximale omzet maar ook met het comfort van de gasten. Wij vonden €125,- voor 2 personen te duur. Voor veel minder geld eet je elders veel meer en met meer ruimte om je heen. Dan is wel het eten niet zo lekker als hier, toegegeven.
