The best Turkish food I have ever eaten. Meat was tender and flavourable, and the bread was thin and fluffy! Amazing service!

I came to eat at Kebabci on Thursday around 4pm and it was great, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, I will definitely come back often!

It's not like it used to be. Adana kebab is too small and tastes a bit tough.

Chicken shish and kusleme are as good as Turkey 🫡

A small grill shop, always busy with authentic Turkish meat dishes. The atmosphere is less than stellar and doesn't really care about the customers. Prices are a bit high. They don't serve rice or fries, but I didn't miss it either.

We had the fatty back and shish ribs, and they were amazing. Atakan Bey took great care of us, thank you. Best kebab in Amsterdam.

Today, after the big march: Red Line, I ate here because of the genocides in Palestine. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit too raw. It really should have been cooked a little longer. And I noticed that they don't boycott the big-name drinks that "we" boycott. How nice it would be if you also boycotted Kebabci, brands like Coca-Cola and Fanta.

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated somewhat compared to the past. Still not bad, but less so.

Very good kebap plus decent portion.

We visited multiple times, meat is very savory, turkish salad and bread come with the meat dishes, prices are Hight but the meat quality is worth it. Stuff can be more welcoming and smiling.

Although the meat was well-cooked, it had some tough spots. The appetizers were good, but the lavash arrived hot. However, the main course, the meat, didn't taste as good as I wanted.

The meat tasted great. The portion was a bit small, but the flavor was great.

I ordered küşleme. The guy who grilled my küşleme made so many cuts with his knife while grilling, making the meat tough, dry, and tasteless. If you don't know how to grill küşleme, you shouldn't work there.

It was busy, but we were served fairly quickly. I went here after working out, so I was craving a protein-rich meal. You've come to the right place! The meat was deliciously grilled, the cigkofte was nice and spicy. And the homemade salad was great too! My only suggestion for improvement is that the second time we were served the cigkofte, it still had the cling film on it. It should have been removed before it was served. 😅 If you're looking for delicious meat, this is definitely worth a try!

Excellent food, the best Turkish grilled meat restaurant I've ever had. The quality is amazing, and I especially loved the chicken thigh skewers! A solid 10 out of 10.

We only ordered one Adana and one rib skewer, yet they brought five different kinds of kebabs to the table (which they claimed were five separate dishes, but together they barely add up to three portions). When we told the waiter there must be a mistake, he insisted these dishes were part of our order and said they were “on the house.” Later, when we went to pay, they charged us €73.5 even though our actual order was only €28.5. They added the most expensive kebabs from the menu, which we never ordered, and even charged €20 for the chicken wings they had claimed were free. This is the kind of business they run. Don’t even walk past this place. In Amsterdam, go eat Italian, Surinamese, Indonesian, Indian, or Greek food — I promise you, they won’t treat you like this.

The meat was delicious and good. The kebab wasn't really kebab-like, more like meatballs. The fatty ribs were a bit tough, but the shish kebab was quite good. For appetizers, we had spoon salad and çiğ köfte (raw meatballs). They were also delicious. The attentiveness was excellent. We paid 80 euros for four people. We had one wrap, one Adana shish kebab, and two portions of mixed fatty ribs and shish kebab.

This place has seriously deteriorated. The meat is extremely dry. I have a stomach ache after eating.

The portion was generous, and the bread fresh and airy. The side dishes, such as the salad and sauces, were also fresh and tasty. Fast and friendly service, and everything was neatly presented. I will definitely come back here. Highly recommended for lovers of real Turkish kebab!

A crowded place! Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the food!

Very nice grilled (Halal) meat restaurant, nice seating and lovely service, the food was really very good, the price was average 25€ per person (all males).

The atmosphere could have been a bit cozier, but the food made up for it. I enjoyed the authentic tastes of Adana and Urfa. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food!

Best food we ate in Amsterdam. I cannot get over how good the ribs were. If we ever traveled to Amsterdam again this place would be atop the list of spots to revisit.

Unfortunately a disappointment. 70 euros for a two person mixed platter with 4 overcooked meat skewers and 12 tasteless chicken wings, 4 quarter tomatoes and 2 burnt green peppers is really not acceptable. The three stars for the food are for the bowls of salad and cig kofte. The atmosphere is unfortunately negatively influenced by hasty and stressed service and waiting customers in front of the door who stare you away. It is a small noisy place that makes you feel like you are sitting on top of each other. Too bad, I could not enjoy the food.

Have eaten here more often and will eat here more often reason: -the food is delicious -you can see the meat you eat in the display case -hygienic -service is good -employees work hard and have respect -free parking (blue zone) Downside I find: -employee does not speak Dutch well (I don't know if that is the case with every employee) -you do not always have a parking space in front of the restaurant because it is free parking. Recently the downsides I think that this restaurant certainly deserves 5 stars. ———Update 2025 May——- - TOO BAD, the adana you eat looks like a piece of chewing gum that does not fall apart in your mouth. It is just a wad of minced meat that has been put together. -it is so busy that the tables are placed on top of each other, which irritates customers.

Nice atmosphere, nice and cozy. We always take the rib and adana skewer, which were, as always, nice and tender and tasty. Staff is attentive and friendly as always. As soon as it is busy inside, we are welcomed at the door and can wait for our table with a glass of tea. Good job guys!!

I’ve been a regular at Kebapci Amsterdam for the past 2–3 years, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is excellent. Hmm, it used to be great, I went there at least twice a month! Their adana was next level. Almost as good as in Adana! Definitely came close! Kusleme and sis kebap the same. The last 2 times it was disappointing. The owner is or was Antepli, my husband is also from Gaziantep and the meat was always so well seasoned! But the last 2 times were very disappointing. Always take the menu, the kasik salad had too much tomato dressing, probably new staff and the ratio of the salad is just not right, you can taste it. The meat adana and sis kebap fell against Kusleme was okay. Second visit: Yesterday I ate adana durum, normally they only put tomato and onion in the durum. Yesterday there was a whole salad in the durum, you just can't taste the meat. Too bad, you know what it is, with all due respect, you shouldn't actually put the man in charge behind the fire. He is top in his own position, and you can simply taste the difference. Very strange but you can taste it. Karnimiz doydu mu doydu ama eski lezzet yok. Such a shame…. You will get a nice kebab place experience. The side dishes and cig kofte are really good. The kebap meat was not very tender. Either needs a good seasoning or more cooking. Adana kebab is really spicy.

I think the place changed hands, I went there twice in the last 2 months, the adana was burnt, it didn't taste good at all. I say the place has changed hands, they say no, but it's a lie, the new owner can't run it. It was the best place in the Netherlands, unfortunately they ruined it.

The meat and food were of good quality, well prepared and full of flavour. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired; the staff was not very attentive and the waiting times were longer than expected. Nevertheless, the meal was very tasty and is definitely worth repeating. Hopefully the service will be better next time!

Adana not good, do not make with love separate atmosphere

Amazing food, delicious taste and a nice ambient environment.

I ordered an adana dish and literally got an adana on a dish. No flavor at all dried up…. One of the employees asks why we didn't eat it and clearly explains the reason for that. We literally only hear an excuse, €60 wasted, I advise everyone not to come to this. It's better to drive 100 meters and eat an adana at Serifoglu.

Despite the negative comments I read, such as "they spoiled the taste of the kebab", we decided to go anyway and I'm glad we did. We ordered it mixed and it was very good. We haven't had a kebab with this taste in a long time. Thank you to all the employees of the kebab restaurant team. Hope to see you again.

Great Turkish BBQ, The best Turkish BBQ in Amsterdam, I had some BBQ in Turkey as well, Kebapci has first class Turkish Kebab, Love it, you can't go wrong, everything tastes really good. I visit this restaurant over and over and every time is a great pleasure.

Great place, the meat is juicy and tasty

I have been eating kebab here for about 4 years, I really get the taste of Turkey, the staff are super friendly, the owner is a very good person and a joke, the cig meatballs, the salad and Adanasi are especially amazing, the price is very good compared to other places, especially Fatih, who works there, he is a top 10 person, I recommend him. It's definitely a place to visit. It feels like it's your own shop. It's a really nice place.

The building has been evacuated, there is no Kebap Restaurant Amsterdam at this address. Their phones are not answering. While we were forced to come, we went to another Turkish restaurant nearby - the people there said it was under renovation.

Since we went late at night, there was no kusleme and ribs left, but urfa and kusbasi were very nice. Taste that tastes like Fatih Aksaray kebab restaurants in Amsterdam, plus warm tradesmanship.

Best one world (the master who prepares the meat is truly a master)

If you want to eat delicious meat then this is the place for you. The meat is well seasoned and prepared on the grill. Here you should not expect any fuss such as sauce etc. It is authentic kebab like you get at a kebabci in Turkey. The Antep style salad completes the dish you get with it. We (my family of 3) enjoyed our evening meal here and were helped very kindly by the bearded waiter. Got tea before we left.

I've been coming here with family and friends for years and have never been disappointed with the food and service. They honestly have the tastiest kebap and çiğköfte and we always receive very good help. Both the owner and the employees are always very professional and friendly. In short: highly recommended!

Given the number of reviews, we paid a visit. Food was very disappointing. Nothing was as it should be. Adana kebab is made with margarine. That is clearly visible. The colder the food becomes, the more clearly it becomes visible. Let's say the cook has had a bad day. But I never want to see the service and the large gentleman behind the cash register again in my life. We were four ladies and all four of us were harassed. This was with the attitude, the looks and especially the comments that these gentlemen made. Not professional, very rude, intimidating and above all, anything but service! People did not realize that we speak the Turkish language and were constantly talking about the female guests. This is possible. No way, disgusting. Never again for us this kind of dirty restaurant.
