Everything was wonderful – the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The waiters were very polite and friendly. My favorite was the Iskender kebab. We'd also like to thank Mr. Ayhan for his excellent service.

I'm sorry for this negative review, but this was the worst tripe soup I've ever had. There was no meat in it at all. It tasted like dishwater. It's my fault, who would ever eat tripe soup at Mado?! Also, I believe they inflate their ratings on Google by buying points. The dessert was good. But it was a bad experience overall. Don't eat Turkish food here. Only the dessert was worth trying.

Despite being quite far from the city center, we went. We chose it because it's a Turkish restaurant and establishment. The food was average in taste, and I'd say the prices are a bit high for the area. I think the restaurant needs investment. The old, worn, and dirty chairs, the bent tines of the forks, and the dull cutlery need to be replaced. The tea served after the meal was complimentary, but we were charged for the second cup without any prior notification. This was very unpleasant. Also, €2.50 for tea is excessive, considering that in the heart of AMS, a large cup of tea costs €3. Those planning to go should keep this in mind. To get there, take bus number 21 from platform K at AMS Centrale and get off at stop 40-45.

After breakfast, we stopped here with our family for coffee and cocktails. Despite the lively atmosphere, there was plenty of space, and everything was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordering via QR code was easy, and our food and drinks arrived after about 10 minutes. Everything tasted delicious. We were completely satisfied and will gladly come back!

I bought pistachio, carrot slice, and mussel-shaped baklava. The pistachio one was crispy but too sweet. The carrot slice was crispy, but the syrup or oil had a strange taste that I couldn't quite identify. The top of the mussel-shaped baklava was very dry and a bit hard; I think it wasn't fresh. In fact, the pistachios on top were very dry and closer to brown than green.

This was our first visit, the food was delicious, and the service was faster than we expected. The staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, we were satisfied.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our reservation could not be found, even though we had received a confirmation via WhatsApp. The explanation given was that the AI ​​reservation module was not working properly. That can happen, but as a restaurant, you remain responsible for a proper welcome and a suitable solution. Especially since they are barely reachable by phone and reservations seem to be handled almost entirely through that AI module. The lady with the tablet looked at us evasively and strangely several times, without clearly explaining what was going on or what solution was being sought. As a result, we did not feel truly welcome as a family, and we stood waiting in uncertainty for over 20 minutes to see if we would even get a table. Eventually, an improvised table was arranged. When I saw that a regular table became available afterwards, I took the opportunity to sit there with my family. The atmosphere was very chaotic, probably partly due to the World Cup match. It was only briefly pleasant when a goal was scored; otherwise, unrest and messiness predominated. People kept walking around looking for seats, there was bickering among themselves, and the staff also seemed to be arguing or having a discussion amongst themselves. What I also found very strange was that a couple sat down at our table out of nowhere, even though we didn't know them. One of them even had a döner kebab from outside in his hand. The staff didn't say anything about it, and it seemed to be simply accepted. As a family, we found that to be an uncomfortable and strange situation. Ordering didn't go well either: a drink was forgotten. When paying, I had to point out which receipt was mine myself until I called the waiter over. Several glasses also broke. That can happen, but combined with everything else, it felt even more chaotic. At one point, a man also came into the middle of the restaurant shouting loudly about something unclear. It is very strange that this could just happen like that. On the positive side were the beautiful interior and the marketing/atmosphere of the restaurant. There were certainly friendly people present as well. A manager, in particular, visibly did his best to rectify the situation and provide good service. However, we received no apologies, neither for the reservation that couldn't be found nor for the messy experience when settling the bill. My wife had had a less-than-ideal experience before. I didn't quite believe it at the time, but after this evening, I certainly understand her. Nice ambiance and likely good intentions, but organizationally, this is not yet the level of a restaurant. It felt more like a messy village eatery. Unfortunately, for our family, it is not worth a repeat visit. This feedback is not meant as a dig, but as an honest point for improvement if you want to get better in the restaurant business. The establishment has potential, but the organization and guest experience really need to improve. To be clear: I didn't eat anything in the end, only had a drink. That drink was tasty, though. Good luck, hopefully things will get better.

A lovely restaurant with truly excellent food. The mixed appetizer platter was particularly varied and delicious. The mixed grill was also outstanding – everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, and the unique service system was fantastic. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!

I drank the Coco Paradijs and it was really delicious! Definitely recommended. It's not too rich, nice and refreshing, and perfect for a warm summer day. Plus, the service was top-notch: I was helped in a super sweet way. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. While the location and setting are lovely, and the staff was friendly, the service left much to be desired. The soup was served without bread or any side dishes, and we had to repeatedly ask for the missing items. My wife's order for the main course was taken incorrectly. We were offered the option of keeping the incorrect dish free of charge or waiting for the correct order. Since we wanted to receive the food we had ordered, we decided to wait – in the end, it took another 40 minutes for the correct dish to arrive. As a result, we were unable to enjoy our meal together, and the entire restaurant visit became unnecessarily unpleasant. We cannot recommend this restaurant. ⭐☆☆☆☆

We ate at Mado for the first time. It is a modern Turkish establishment with a retail and restaurant section. The service was very polite. We tried the iskender, which is truly yaprak doner. It was flavorful and the right temperature. A plus is that it is served on a heated plate. They also have excellent ice cream with pistachios. To finish, we received complimentary Turkish tea. All in all, we had a pleasant experience, and it certainly won't be our last.

The clean plates for service had run out, so I asked for more, but each employee said "okay," yet no one brought clean plates. We went there for the open buffet breakfast and asked for a samovar (tea kettle) from the food section, but when we asked again, another employee came and brought it directly. I deducted a star for service because some of the staff were really clumsy. They almost bump into you if you don't move aside, and then they don't even apologize. The table service, however, was really good. Also, a spacious place in an accessible location with plenty of parking spaces. Highly recommended!
