We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we found disappointing was that we always had to use the same plate.

Was here with school, tasted delicious and top service.

After reading many reviews, I decided to try it myself. Unfortunately, I went twice and was treated poorly both times. Initially, I couldn't order anything because there was supposedly "no cook" while others were still eating. Only after I approached a different employee was it suddenly possible. I ordered the same thing twice, and both times were disappointing: the flavors were completely underwhelming. Fine as a local place, but definitely not worth driving all the way there.

It was one of the few places opened on the 1st Jan. We were welcomed even if we did not have a reservation and we were a group of 6 people. There was a buffet for brunch. Food was fresh and there was a variety of choices. Staff was very kind and pleasant.

I ordered a single portion of Iskender kebab the other day; they fill it with meat, they really do a great job.

We tried the buffet at Mado Amsterdam and found it very simple with little variety, especially considering the price and expectations. What made the experience worse was finding an olive seed (pit) in the shakshouka. This immediately made me lose my appetite and raised concerns about food preparation and attention to detail. Overall, it was a bad experience, and unfortunately not one I would recommend.

Firstly, ı would like to thank all the staff for being so friendly and welcoming. Perfect atmosphere nice, chill, and calm. Definitely will be going back there. 100% recommended!!!

We tried the open buffet Turkish breakfast. The food was nice and a lot of variety, anything you can think of. They were tasty especially the borek. Personnel was kind but a bit slow. We were offered to have a teapot on our table while we were leaving :) The place is so bright with spot lights makes it a bit like you are eating on a stage 😅 The restrooms were messy, it was also wet.

We went for the Turkish breakfast buffet, the food wasn’t very fresh and the variety was quite limited, so overall not my favorite.

I ordered a lava cake and a piece of baklava with ice cream. It was absolutely awful; the lava cake had been microwaved, and the (supposedly) crispy one tasted like a piece of paper. I won't be ordering again, and oh yeah, the teaspoon was also quite dirty. I drink my tea without sugar, but this is truly disgusting.

Sorry, but the service was terrible. The bread arrived frozen, and taking the order was very difficult, even though I speak Turkish, Dutch, and English. I ordered a mixed grill, and no, sorry, the lamb skewer was very dry; the chicken was okay. I ordered an extra portion of döner der, and that was good. Personally, I won't be back.

We went with some hesitation, but it was better than I expected. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I especially want to thank Mr. Bilal, Mr. Emre, and Ms. Pamuk. They treated us wonderfully. The unlimited tea after the meal was a nice gesture, and we also had coffee. The pita bread was delicious. The salads could be more varied. I will definitely go again 😊

We ordered kuymak (a type of Turkish porridge) and gözleme (a type of Turkish flatbread). Everything was terrible. This place represents our beautiful Turkish cuisine in a very bad way. The kuymak was not mixed at all and came frozen. The gözleme was pre-made and reheated. I will definitely not come again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

The flatbreads are delicious, the tripe soup is incredibly healthy, the staff are very polite, the service is fast, the place is clean, we would definitely come again.

We ordered döner kebab, the meat was extremely tough and cold, the staff were friendly, the tripe soup was excessively salty, the place was cold. I'd recommend it if you can't find anywhere else to go in the Netherlands.

In the Netherlands, a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and desserts. It's truly our go-to place every time we come to Amsterdam. Always smiling staff, thank you.

We went for brunch, and it was very good. The staff was friendly, especially Nil or Nilüfer Hanım, who was young and thankful. You can also make your own omelets.

Had a terrible experience. Visited this place with a few women. After reading a review that stated the music could be turned down upon request, we politely requested it. But instead of even suggesting it wasn't possible, the manager decided to turn it up loud. This was early in the morning. Two more women then got up to talk to the manager. He told them that was the standard, so the volume couldn't be lowered. Even though it had been lowered upon arrival. The six of us walked out. I can guarantee that with this level of service, the place won't last long.

Quite a few food options, unfortunately few meat options, and their Turkish filled bread wasn't available either. Otherwise, we had a delicious meal and drank lots of tea!

I enjoyed the open buffet breakfast at your MADO branch in Amsterdam today (Saturday). Unfortunately, both the menemen and omelet stations were completely empty during my entire visit. I checked and waited several times, but they weren't replenished. In the end, I was only able to eat some grapes because the hot dishes I came for weren't available. I understand that Saturdays are very busy, but if items run out, they should be replenished regularly, especially the popular hot dishes that many guests come for. When I mentioned this to one of the staff, I was told, "You'll have to check again." I don't think guests should have to chase after their food at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I love going to MADO and am usually very satisfied, but this experience was disappointing. I hope you can improve the refills and train the staff better so other guests don't have to experience this.
