Never ordering from them again; they cancel your order and don't refund your money. If you try to call them, they don't answer anymore and act like they know nothing about it.

No contact details, nothing; nobody answers your calls. They didn't deliver my order, and after asking for my money back, the phone is switched off and I can't get hold of anyone anymore. The weirdest company I have ever ordered from; never again.

I had a good experience picking up; for others it might be on the pricey side, which I can understand. Although everything has become a bit more expensive. For me, the price-quality ratio was balanced.

At Meneer Kebab, the service was top-notch from start to finish, with smiling and genuinely pleasant staff. It's a pleasure to be treated so well. You can tell the ingredients are prepared with care; the kebab was excellent, and especially the yogurt sauce… incredible 😭 Honestly, one of the best Turkish restaurants I've ever eaten at. The quality-to-price ratio is also very good compared to prices in Amsterdam. One small detail we really appreciated: they also have a kiosk with French language options, which was very helpful for ordering easily and discovering their specialties. It was really convenient and well thought out for tourists. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and authentic experience!

The price-performance ratio is disproportionate.

I ordered food delivery via Thuisbezorgd last night, and man oh man, I paid far too much. I had Somun bread with added lamb sis; you get a large piece of bread with exactly 5 tough pieces of lamb in between. This was really disproportionately expensive for what you pay. Very disappointing. This will deter me from ordering more often.

We ordered from thuisbezorgd two times already, their chicken doner smells good, tastes good, reasonable price, I didn’t take photo because I was very hungry, but this restaurant is highly recommended!

The food 20 out of 10, absolutely delicious. Everything tasted amazing. On top of that, the service was super fast, which I really appreciated. The place is very clean and pleasant, you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Our hotel was very close to this restaurant, and since we love doner and shawarma, we had to try it—and it did not disappoint! The shawarma was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The self-checkout menu machine was very easy to use, which made ordering quick and convenient. We also loved the music they were playing—it added such a great vibe. We ended up coming back a few times during our stay in Amsterdam. Definitely worth trying!

Legitimately the best falafel in Amsterdam

We thought we'd just grab 3 Duner sandwiches during the break, 36 euros again, and a day worked for nothing.

We ordered lentil soup, chicken shawarma, lamb shish kebab, chicken shish tawook, and potatoes. Of course, it came with salad. Honestly, the food was delicious, but the ketchup was a little spicy. The other sauce was like yogurt, but it was still tasty. The person who served the customers was very friendly and respectful. Our bill was approximately 52 euros.

We had a delicious meal, but the biggest treat of the evening was Nisa. Incredibly friendly, gave great advice, and she has a natural talent for hospitality. This bodes well for the future!

I don't like the lamb sis kebab. Yaparak doner was tasty, but there are better doner places in Amsterdam.

Unfriendly staff and mediocre food. A kapsalon for 13.50 with non-crispy, soggy (from the oil) potato slices (!?) instead of fries. A kapsalon is a perfect dish, so don't do crazy things with it. Upon entering, the surly man behind the counter showed off his "fresh and beautiful" salads, but a kapsalon for 13.50 comes with a few lettuce leaves and cucumber. If you're going to innovate, put some flavorful salad on it. And then a veeeeery small bowl of garlic sauce. Oh my god... Good luck with that!

Man, these guys have no idea what customer service is. When you order through Thuisbezorgd, your food isn't here after 1 hour and 40 minutes. When you call them, they think my house number is incorrect. Then they lie, saying my phone number wasn't listed. I regularly order through Thuisbezorgd, and all the other restaurants call me when there's a delay or something. They won't cancel my order either and refer me to Thuisbezorgd.

The kebab was amazing! The portion size was impressive, and it was prepared very quickly and skillfully. Thank you for the delicious dinner and for taking such great care of us, guys!

I honestly had one of the best kapsalons I've ever eaten; the food was ready within 10 minutes. The delivery driver is a legend, super attentive! The portions are also good, not too big, not too small. I would definitely recommend it.

Potatoes from the hair salon looked like they had been dumped on them unfried. Cold and raw. Veal was bone dry. Still has a great taste. Sandwiches were also not bad. Immediately thrown away. Shame . Because not cheap. ..was quite a good thing. You won't find me there again... Small addition on March 10, 2025. My kids wanted to order something here But guess what...so indescribably childish...they no longer deliver to my address. Hahahahaha.. What incredible losers those guys are.

Miss! Staff not really friendly, but if you've had a long day, it can happen. As long as the food is good... But the doner sandwich was small and above all very scanty. Pieces of onion can be counted on one hand, 2 slices of feta, at least parsley and quite dry veal kebab (I didn't want tomato) for 11 euros. Major setback, but still manageable. But I wasn't okay with the fact that it really didn't make me feel good at night! 👎🏽

I ordered a kapsalon without fries. The shawarma pieces were large and seemed to come from yesterday or from the beginning of the skewer. They had a strong odor. This is for clarification.

From our hotel it was a brisk walk to the restaurant, area is very nice, quiet and generally people of Amsterdam are absolutely friendly, so going back to the restaurant, it was easy to order, even had a self checkout.
