One of the best till date ! The fries are just like fries from McDonald. So for our Muslim besties go and taste it . The food is just delicious fresh and well served . Thumbs up 😎

We've been getting takeout from Merza IJburg for quite some time, and so far, the food has always been delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, our experience today was very disappointing. The bread wasn't baked properly, and the shawarma sandwich tasted more like ground meat. The flavor was practically nonexistent, making the dish truly inedible. For a €50 bill—for two lentil soups, a wrap, and a shawarma sandwich—you expect good quality. This time, unfortunately, it fell far short of your usual standard. It seems like the quality has really deteriorated, which we find very disappointing. We hope you address this so that the quality you're known for can be maintained.

Delicious food with great service. Be aware, however, that because the food is so good, it's always busy. Reservations are recommended, and arriving early is also recommended!

If you want Turkish food, this is the best Turkish restaurant in Amsterdam in my opinion. It's a bit pricey, but that's true everywhere these days, so that's no exception.

I've been coming to Restaurant Merza since 2014 and I'm always extremely satisfied. The staff knows me personally and knows exactly what I want, and the service is always top-notch and with a smile. The shawarma is delicious, the mixed grill is perfectly prepared, and the portions are generous. My whole family always enjoys eating here; the quality is consistently excellent. The negative reviews you sometimes see—believe me, those people have probably never actually been here. Highly recommended! We had another delicious meal at Merza IJburg. Seven of us enjoyed different dishes. The food was hot and fresh, and the salad was nice and crisp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't wait long for our food, and they came by a few times to ask if everything was to our liking.

In this café, I immediately felt a homey warmth. The interior was colorful and playful, with vintage furniture and cheerful decorations. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and immediately offered excellent drink suggestions. I chose a fresh smoothie, which was rich and full of fruity flavors. My friend had a cappuccino, beautifully decorated with latte art. We also ordered a slice of carrot cake, which was clearly homemade and delicious. The café was full of people laughing and chatting at tables. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. I appreciated that there were also quiet corners for reading or working. This café simply exuded a pure coziness.

I ate at Merza for the first time tonight, but unfortunately, this is becoming my favorite restaurant. I had a shawarma sandwich; the bread was so full of meat and the bread was deliciously crispy. The kids had a dish with delicious, tender, and soft meat, not overly seasoned. Later, I had chicken wings, which were really delicious. You'll see me again. Thanks again, guys, for the great service.

Top! No other word for it! Drove by and was hungry, looked quite busy. Ordered a shoarma dish, deliciously full plate. The fries were perfect, enough varied salad, the meat is wow! Bread was served warm without asking, what a service! I will become a new regular customer!

Really one of the tastiest shoarma, further just delicious food. Staff is also always very nice. Family friendly, also have a very small play area and prayer room. You can also sit outside on the terrace.

We were welcomed cheerfully and they have really nice staff. We got a table right away even though we didn't have a reservation and that was very nice. The food was very tasty and it didn't take long. The portions were filling and the atmosphere was very pleasant. After we had finished eating I paid cash and I still had to pay €1.75 to which he said, no need to hear it's fine. I will definitely come back here! Really recommended🫶🏼

Ordered through an app with the restaurant doing their own delivery. Waited for literally almost 3h and the food never came, they didn't pick up the phone etc. Disgrace. Got my refund through the app like 2 weeks later.

Great food it was really delicious. The kapsalon chicken was especially delicious. Finally a place where the chicken is truly halal. All their chicken is hand slaughtered without gas anesthesia. Unfortunately, most restaurants these days only sell mechanically slaughtered chicken under the guise of halal. My compliments to you. You have another regular customer.

If I pay 30 euros for a mixed grill, that means I want more than 1 kofte and not 2 chicken wings, 4 made of 1adana and looked like çöpṣiṣ 4 small pieces of lamb. You're lucky I can't post a photo. I have been a regular customer at Merza for years, I give the service and food a 10+, they are consistent with the quality of the food and customer friendliness. They have a play area and prayer area. Merza is definitely my favorite restaurant.

There food used to be really bad, went there with a friend on his request. I never really liked there food. They sold me hard bread last time as if it laid there for days. But this experience has changed everything. They have become really good. Bread was warm and sauce were really tasty. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. Congratulations for bringing the marvellous change in your food.

Great food. Grilled lamb tender with nice Smokey flavour. With 3 different sauces: garlicky, pepper-spicy and tomato fruity. Nice and friendly staff. Location ok, but not suited for first date.. but no complaints at all for the location, yust not outstanding.

We have not eaten such delicious Turkish dishes such as grill anywhere in the Netherlands. The dishes are super fresh and very tasty!!! the restaurant is clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

They use Euroshopper frozen fries, the people in the kitchen are nice but the owner and his sons treat customers like trash. Also very expensive, 2 dishes for 69 euros. Be careful people!!

I often come here for the delicious chicken wrap or shawarma dish with fries, and then finish with a delicious Turkish tea in combination with fresh baklava and ice cream. I would like to thank all the gentlemen from the napkin ring to the kitchen for the wonderful experience every time.

A great place to eat! The food is delicious, the service is excellent and what makes it even better is that they have a prayer room.

We regularly eat here as a family. There is a children's play corner and mescid where you can pray. Dishes are delicious and the hosts are great! We would love to come back.

First I looked at the reviews and they gave me a good vibe, without a doubt a place to go for lunch or dinner, very good food and good atmosphere, 10/10.

I go for the XL schotel that is enough for two people. Very tasty and good quality. Always deliver in 30 mins or less.

If there is more than 5 stars I will put.. Actually, it’s one of the best Turkish restaurants in Amsterdam.. dishes are super fresh, restaurant is so clean, and the staff are so kind and helpful.. if you to try Turkish cuisine I recommend to try this restaurant 😋
