A fun pop-up on the Amstel River. Delicious beers, a nice mini snack platter, but definitely worth the price. The satay is excellent, the pizza is mwamwa, and the nachos are delicious. The service is extremely friendly, and the waterfront atmosphere definitely makes this a worthwhile visit!

Our favorite local craft beer garden right on the Amstel. Excellent beer, wonderful people and beautiful place with Amstel river view. We never missed their Ouderkerkse Bokken & Bites events, Italian and Kaasfondue dinners. They hosted amazing bbq events for the UEFA European Football Championship and we hope that they will continue planning these kind of bbq events. Really recommend for a chill evening by the river to enjoy good beer, drinks and bites. Thanks for being amazing guys!

Hidden gem where you can sit in the sun by the water. We only had a drink but we noticed that the food is not expensive. We can't wait to have cheese fondue here soon - that also looked very nice.

Very nice place, far from the tourist reach and in a beautiful location. Amazing beer selection and quality with good prices. The only sidenote is that the service of the food got a little lost and so it took a while. Really recommend for a chill evening by the canal to enjoy good beer and drinks.

Very nice environment, pleasant prices

Kek is one address in Ouderkerk where you don't need to look like you own a boat to blend in . Just come as you are! We turned up, found a seat out the back on the sunny terrace and counted the Lemmers going by. My friend raved about the beers he had and oma Bob's bitterballen were too hot to handle, the way we like them. Shame I'm not a beer drinker , but how about a couple of wines on the list that are as inspired as your beers. Thanks guys.

Had a delicious cheese fondue here a while ago. Nostalgia to be able to come here again. Also a lovely terrace on the water.

Lovely pop-up bar with a great location and excellent beer, but the service is pretty terrible. It’s more likely that the waiter will forget your order than you will get it. Even if they remember that you ordered something, you are most likely not going to get what you ordered.

Invaded unexpectedly with a group of 10 people. We were immediately assisted to put two tables together. In response to our request, we received a (detailed) explanation about the origins of this pop-up. Three people from our group opted for the four beer tasting. The rest stuck to one beer. Add a snack and it was complete. Thank you for the hospitality

Het Jagershuis is a nice alternative to the other catering establishments in that area. It is nice to relax on the terrace on the Amstel with a Kek white beer. The brewers (of Wieringen) did their best. TRIBUTE 👍👍

Really beautiful spot near the water and great beers. They also had some food options but I didn't try them.

They recently moved to the Hunter's House and I can admit that it is very nicely decorated. The decor inside is from time immemorial. Outside in the garden you have many chairs and benches where you can relax. Last but not least; excellent view over the canal and the churches. Plural!

The former Hunter's House is a great location for a beer café. The historic building is beautifully decorated and has a unique terrace on the Amstel. Nice beer, although I would like to see KEK add more variety and depth to its range (IPA/DIPA/NEIPA/Porter).

A place to eat, drink craft beer and stay overnight, the decoration and the location are unbeatable, the waiters and owners are charming, the town is a real joy.

We stopped here on the way back from a cycle trip out of Amsterdam down the Amstel. Tasty food with very generous portions, beautiful location, the staff were super friendly, card payment possible and the beers were great! Highly recommend!

A very friendly and relaxing place to enjoy a lovely cool craft beer and some nibbles. Locals are extremely friendly and informative. Normally an ice skating club but with weather changes haven’t been able freeze water there. Great for kids and adults to start up a game on the grassed area. A lovely relaxing cycle ride out from the city following the Amstel River.

KEK! is a small local brewery (Ouderkerk) and this is their taproom location. A short throw away from the Amstel river you can find the large terrace has with an amazing view. There are cows in the meadow and a windmill in the background - very polder idealic. The crowd consists of mellow locals and families. They serve local snacks and finger foods. KEK! Proef-lokaal makes a great stop if you are exploring the area south of Amsterdam by bike. The beers will not win any awards but the charm of the location makes up for this. Fun fact: In the winter the field in front of the terrace becomes an open air ice rink.

Somebody pinch me. I live in a cosmopolitan European city and I can jump on my bike for 25 minutes and end up on a cow farm/beer garden (homebrew)/kids play area/restaurant where the service is super friendly and the kids are very welcome.

Great local craft brewery, 5 sorts of beer, I tried wheat one and it was of great quality. Super friendly owners, and he is happy to explain about the beer and the place. The place itself is in the middle of the fields, and kids can play around safety while you enjoy your afternoon beer. We enjoyed it very much!

Nice place! Spend the summer here on the skating rink of De Amstelbocht. Enjoy the various beers and small snacks. Very cozy and also suitable for children. Lacks some choice for non-alcoholic drinks.

Atmospheric farm with large terrace and playing field with a wide view over the rural area near Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Kek! brews exciting beers that can be tasted here with small snacks from local suppliers.

Cozy atmosphere, activities such as badminton and football can be enjoyed on the lawn. Guests largely sit outside, so in bad weather it is a bit less. Small but nice selection of food. Nice beer :)

Definitely a "hidden gem" in the Amsterdam area. Very nice to try out all kinds of different beers, locally brewed beer, combined with a snack menu that is also suitable for veggies. It is also useful that there is a lovely large field for children with all kinds of sports/toys, so you don't have to take them with you.
