Lomo saltado and fried yuca were absolutely delicious.

The last time the sandwich didn't taste good, it turned out to be made with soy flour, complained about it and they said they would check it, now 3 months later they still have the same supplier, and now also dishes with Tofu, which is processed in the kitchen that I am even more allergic to... Unfortunately from a nice good sandwich shop, Vegan trend... To zero, see sandwich tester ...... Unfortunately zero stars...

This is one of my favorite gems in Amsterdam. Authentic Peruvian food with a twist! They are representing amazing Latin cuisine and as a Latina in the Netherlands I will continue to support this business 💕 Delivery is super fast and efficient. Gracias por representar el sabor latino en Holanda 🤗

The lomo saltado was spectacular. We also ordered pork rinds with fried yuquitas that had Creole mange. It was rich. They also have chicha morada and passion fruit juice. And there is an extra here: you can buy fresh and packaged Peruvian products, such as ají Amarillo and ají ready in pomo to accompany your meals.

Pan lomo saltado was perfect. Everything was freshly prepared including the bread.

Truly great, creative dishes with the best mix of peruvian and nikkei tastes. Follow their Instagram for weekend specials as they constantly change. Hard-working, passionate chefs. Really wishing they get BIG.

Absolutely amazing Peruvian restaurant. This place took me straight back to Peru! The lomo saltado was amazing, definitely on level with the lomo saltados I tried in Peru! I love the fact they also sell Inka cola (which in Peru is even more popular than coca cola), really a delicious drink that you should try if you never have! People working here are also super friendly and the service is quite fast. It's more of a takeaway restaurant but there is also plenty of seating in case you want to dine in! You should definitely try them out, especially if you have never tried the amazing Peruvian cuisine!

Totally recommended 10/10 -Sandwich: Pan Lomo saltado 10/10 Big sandwich, good beef, excellent flavour, fair price -Sushi: Kani Uramaki 9/10 Good flavour, fresh, not "heavy cream", well presented, fair price Service is excellent: always with kindness and big smile. Timing was accurate (it is not a corporate fast food station). Clean kitchen. Extra: they also sell peruvian drinks (very tasty: chicha morada) and peruvian ingredients. PS: I will try Empanadas next time! Thanks for the experience!

Well presented and tasty dishes prepared by real Peruvian cooks. Pleasant environment, but it might get too cold inside during the winter. The staff is friendly and listened to Latin music while cooking, quite nice.

The food was really good. Pokebowl, fried rice and sushi were all very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is that in the winter it's quite cold inside.

First of all, the food was amazing, fresh and so flavourful - top notch. But also, I want to take a moment and really appreciate the amazing customer service. One of our orders was missing but it only took them 10mins to knock on the door again with it after I let them know. It meant alot since we had friends over for dinner. The delivery guy is so sweet. This was my first time and definitely not my last, our hidden gem in Amstelveen ❤️

Tried this out after a visit to the barbershop. Asked for some advice on what to choose and got recommended the 'Lomo Saltado'. It was great! Tasted really good and definitely filling for the price. It also tastes really authentic. Definitely give it a try. I will be back for the sushi btw haha, have not tried that yet✌️

Loved the food. You get the real Peruvian taste. The lomo saltado meat was a bit tough and chewy but other than that, it was a 5 star experience. Would recommend and come back! Prices are adequate and portions are big, perfect to share.

Very authentic place! A little gem in Amstelveen

I found their food good, but not really special. Yes, it’s hard to find a really nice place in this area and food in Pachamama stands out. Its taste is very close to authentic. I’ve enjoyed my ceviche. However, I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place from another city/amsterdam just for food. It’s not that special. Also, it’s mainly a takeout restaurant. They have some tables but staying here for a while to enjoy your dining experience isn’t very convenient.

This is the best peruvian restaurant in the Netherlands, I have tried a few but this one has by far the best taste almost identical flavor profile as any restaurant in Peru. Feels like home!

Best peruvian restaurant in NL. I know real peruvian food and this is it do yourself a favor and eat here. My husband(peruvian) would eat here everyday if he could. You can find peruvian products and aji amarillo(a gem)

A really friendly place portions are large and very reasonably priced. The place is mainly a takeaway, but they do have three small tables inside and two high tables outside. The food was tasty and well prepared. The rolls are good, and the beef and sauce was tasty. The only thing that could have been better 1. The yuca fries. I think they cut them too thick and as such it's a very big bite of dry starch. Better to cut them thinner. 2. Chicarons could have been crispier. Apart from that, it's really good.

I love the food from Pacha Mama, I travel from Delf to Amstelveen only for their food. Really good!

Take your laundry with you and when I sat down I almost fell through the bench (now the question is ;) the food is not quite to my taste but it is well prepared. The woman who helped me was very helpful and friendly (was in a hurry)

As a Peruvian woman, I am always asked where you can really enjoy traditional Peruvian food in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. There are really only 2 places I would recommend and Pachamama is 1 of them. Look beyond the simple and unassuming place, because this (almost) hidden gem in Amstelveen is a MUST TRY for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays, because of the DELICIOUS “specials”. 🍛Food: They actually also serve Peruvian sushi and poke bowls here and it tastes great, but I would REALLY come here for the specials on Friday and Saturday. You can come here every day of the week (except Sunday) for a traditional lomo saltado or lomo saltado sandwich, but also pan con chicharron, arroz chaufa, tallarines saltado with lomo. ‼️Note: The specials are posted in advance on their Instagram page on Thursday evening or Friday morning: @pachamamaonwheels. 👀The portions are large and therefore more on the “Peruvian” side. 💃🏽My favorite specials are all the “combinados”. These are often 2-3 traditional dishes on 1 plate. Also very popular in Peru itself. My absolute recommendations are: - Tallarines a la huancaina con lomo saltado (Peruvian pasta with Peruvian cheese sauce and lomo saltado) - Ceviche - Tacu Tacu con lomo saltado (Peruvian stir-fry of (white) beans with rice, onion, tomato and lomo saltado) - Tamales (corn dough steamed in banana leaf filled with chicken) ‼️Don't forget to try the inca kola (Peruvian soft drink) and “chicha Morada” (made from purple corn) as drinks! Fancy dessert? They often also have tres leches cake in the fridge! 🏠Atmosphere: In Peru there is the term "HUA-RI-QUE". Huarique is a street language for a simple, modest and informal place where you can order delicious and authentic food. This place is exactly this: a SMALL eatery (store-like ), where you can eat inside if you are lucky and find a spot on one of the long wooden benches where you sit at the table with other people. What's nice is that you look into the kitchen when you enter! You can see how the food is prepared. ‼️Note: It takes some searching, because this eatery is located in a random mini shopping center in Amstelveen. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Service: You can order the food at the counter. There is no service. The people are friendly. It is a family business, you can see and feel that! ✅Conclusion: If you want to try the more traditional Peruvian (creole) cuisine, I can 100% recommend this “hidden gem”. I hope they make their specials daily in the near future. Or maybe Thursday? Por favor?

I am peruvian and I know what pervuvian food should taste like,we ordered parihuela ,and it was like tomate soup with seafood, i ate it because I was hungry and i ended up two days sick , vomiting for two whole days . My husband ordered lomo saltado and it was salty and for my kid I ordered saltado de pollo and it was very dry , all the 3 dishes were horrible. I will never go back to this place . I DONT RECOMMEND IT. Rice was not fresh , it was reheated . This is not a good representation of peruvian food at all.!

Wow! The best Peruvian food I have tried so far in Europe. Delicious Ebi Maki, lomo saltado like at home, very delicious bread with pork rinds. We still had to try the ceviche and the chaufa, which looked A1!!

Incredible. Tasty food, everything very rich. Attention 10. Effectiveness 10. I have tried many Peruvian restaurants and this is one of the ones I have enjoyed the most without a doubt. There were 6 of us, we ate and drank A LOT for €128. I would return without a doubt.

The best food always delicious and nice service!

I am a Peruvian living in Amsterdam. The other day I went with my German girlfriend and our daughter to this place as we were exploring the area. We had limited time and so we just ordered two of the sandwiches from the menu- the one with pork belly (chicharron) and the one with lomo saltado. I was pleaseantly suprised! Normally I don't go to Peruvian restaurants outside of Peru because the flavours are usually off, but I have to say that I felt a bit like in Lima when having these. We will for sure come back to try out the other dishes.

Excellent. I am a very old fashioned cook and usually I don't go to Peruvian restaurants because the tastes are so different than the ones I know... but in Pachamama the dishes are exactly what are supposed to be...and the size of the dishes!!!! Also the personal was so much friendly. I am thrilled with this restaurant.

Amazing food, really enjoyed Choripan and Arroz chaufa de pollo. If you're an Indian from Tamilnadu, the Inca Cola tastes very similar to Bovonto.

Delicious food! Authentic Peruvian taste! I specifically went to this place to have the weekend special “Lomo saltado con Tallarines a la huancaina”, which is my favorite Peruvian dish and definitely surpassed my expectations. We also had ceviche and regular Lomo saltado (with white rice and fries) and both were excellent, all ingredients really fresh and tasty. The portions were good and prices acceptable. The place is inside de Winkelcentrum (mall), so it’s more like a food court. So maybe you wouldn’t expect to find food with this level of quality in a place like this. Also, the people is really nice and warm. Completely recommended.

Absolutely my favorite spot of Peruvian food in Amsterdam. Last time we ordered the arroz chaufa and was AWESOME, and if you love big dishes: this is your place. The taste was delicious and you can really feel the Nikkei style, just perfect. And the prices are another plus, we are sure we are gonna go back. They made me feel like at home 🇵🇪

Excellent little takeout place (yes there is also a table to sit down at, however space is sparse) specializing in Peruvian/Japanese fusion, tried the chicken teriyaki bowl most recently, which came freshly made along with chopsticks, sauce and ginger. Tasty! Great find.

Really delicious Peruvian food, small restaurant hidden in a shopping center. They have a weekend special on Friday and Saturday. We had so much food that we took something home with us, they don't make a fuss about it.

Got a delicious poke bowl. Generous portion and great taste: nice combination of different structures and good balance of acid and salt. The rice was perfect and was lightly dusted with a delicious green powder, really adding a flavor kick and great variety. Taking my sesame allergy into account was no problem, the chef himself thought that the seaweed salad was not suitable. Classy service, delicious meal and for only €12.50, highly recommended!

It would make it more visible if there is a sign outside, but I think this might need a bit help from the developer of that winkelcentrum.
