Food is delicious and the owners are very kind!

The dishes were delicious. The quality-to-price ratio was excellent, just as it should be. And... the best ceviche in town!!

Their food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! They have such a unique combination of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. But the flavors work so well together. The sweet potato fries are probably the best I've ever had. They are crispy on the outside and soft at the inside. We ordered 2 appetizers, 1 sushi, 1 beef dish, 1 noodle dish, and 1 fried rice. The portions are huge and these were enough for 7 people. We will definitely go back again!

Pachamama is an excellent Peruvian restaurant that's good, beautiful, and affordable. 🇵🇪❤️ Reasonable prices, delicious food, and very friendly service. The food is delicious! Service is fast and the staff is very friendly. The shopping center itself is not a cozy place to eat. If you are with a larger group, you can all sit at high tables and make it cozy yourselves.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5/5 stars - Pachamama On Wheels Tried this out after a visit to the barbershop. Asked for some advice on what to choose and got recommended the 'Lomo Saltado'. It was great! Tasted really good and definitely filling for the price. It also tastes really authentic. Definitely give it a try. I also tried the ceviche, is is really good, fishy and sour, but good 😄 I will be back for the sushi btw haha, have not tried that yet✌️

The food at Pachamama is the best Peruvian food I've had in Amsterdam. Everything is delicious; no dish disappoints. I've also ordered delivery, and it arrives just as good as when I order from the restaurant. If you like chicharrón, you have to try the one they make here. Highly recommended! :)

One of the best places I have visited in a while for food, super consistent, great concept, very friendly staff and the sauces they have are really good. Every time I go I buy the Pan con poyo teriyaki and every time it feels as if it was my first time eating there.

Nice little place in a somewhat obscure spot. All the kitchen staff were very friendly and asked us for our opinion several times. Suitable for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is located in a 'dark corner', but don't let that distract you!

It exceeded my expectations. We went with a Peruvian friend who wanted to take us to an authentic restaurant, and that's exactly what it was—just like in Peru. I ordered the ají de gallina, the weekend special (which they should make a permanent menu item!), and it was spectacular. My friend's lomo saltado was also delicious, as was the arroz chaufa. The chicha morada was incredibly fresh, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back and will bring friends to try it!

The fish in the Pole Bowl and the ceviche were very good and fresh. The typical South American sandwich was also a highlight for me, it was so delicious. I highly recommend it if you want a true immersion and experience in Peruvian cuisine.

Really delicious food! The portion of Lomo Saltado was so big that I had a very hard time finishing it all. Friendly atmosphere with a lot of families dripping in. Seating is limited, but if you wait a bit something will pop up. Recommended if you want an honest huge portion of goodness!

Absolutely amazing! Eating there (and especially drinking the delicious Chicha morada) brought me right back to the time I lived in Peru. The food was super delicious and it was a big portion. Great for vegans as well. Moreover, the staff was super friendly :)

This hole in the wall is an amazing find! Yes, it's in a food court of a small mall in a quiet neighborhood in Amstelveen but the food brings you to the mountains of Peru. Truly worth going out of your way for! The "arroz chaufa de mariscos" was delicious and a very generous portion. If you want a snack or crave hangover food go for the "salchipapa". 😉 For a refreshing delicious drink try the "chicha".

The food is AMAZING, and incredibly nice personnel. Highly recommended also for vegan people. I have been eating there with Peruvian friends and they loved it too. Definitely the best Peruvian place we found in Amsterdam. The place is nothing fancy but if you are craving a good meal, definitely go here

What a wonderful surprise this café was! The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff extremely friendly. The coffee was perfect, with a full flavor and a beautiful layer of foam. I also ordered a cheese and ham toastie, which was perfectly grilled. The tables were spacious, providing privacy. The decor was stylish, with lots of wood and soft tones. It felt warm and inviting. Ideal for a quiet breakfast or afternoon break. I will definitely visit this café again.

If they had tamal de pollo, it would be 5/5. But sadly when we were there, they didn't have it. They do have chicha morada! Vegetarian options are marked with a green plant on the menu btw 😊.

The lomo saltado was spectacular. We also ordered chicharrones with fried yucca and topped with Creole dressing. It was delicious. They also have chicha morada and passion fruit juice. And there's a bonus here: you can buy fresh and packaged Peruvian products, such as yellow chili peppers and ready-made chili peppers in bottles, to accompany your meals.

The last time the sandwich didn't taste good, it turned out to be made with soy flour, complained about it and they said they would check it, now 3 months later they still have the same supplier, and now also dishes with Tofu, which is processed in the kitchen that I am even more allergic to... Unfortunately from a nice good sandwich shop, Vegan trend... To zero, see sandwich tester ...... Unfortunately zero stars...

Absolutely amazing Peruvian restaurant. This place took me straight back to Peru! The lomo saltado was amazing, definitely on level with the lomo saltados I tried in Peru! I love the fact they also sell Inka cola (which in Peru is even more popular than coca cola), really a delicious drink that you should try if you never have! People working here are also super friendly and the service is quite fast. It's more of a takeaway restaurant but there is also plenty of seating in case you want to dine in! You should definitely try them out, especially if you have never tried the amazing Peruvian cuisine!

Timing was accurate (it is not a corporate fast food station). Clean kitchen. Extra: they also sell peruvian drinks (very tasty: chicha morada) and peruvian ingredients. Well presented and tasty dishes prepared by real Peruvian cooks. Pleasant environment, but it might get too cold inside during the winter. The staff is friendly and listened to Latin music while cooking, quite nice.

First of all, the food was amazing, fresh and so flavourful - top notch. But also, I want to take a moment and really appreciate the amazing customer service. One of our orders was missing but it only took them 10mins to knock on the door again with it after I let them know. It meant alot since we had friends over for dinner. The delivery guy is so sweet. This was my first time and definitely not my last, our hidden gem in Amstelveen ❤️

Loved the food. You get the real Peruvian taste. The lomo saltado meat was a bit tough and chewy but other than that, it was a 5 star experience. Would recommend and come back! Prices are adequate and portions are big, perfect to share.

Very authentic place! A little gem in Amstelveen

I found their food good, but not really special. Yes, it’s hard to find a really nice place in this area and food in Pachamama stands out. Its taste is very close to authentic. I’ve enjoyed my ceviche. However, I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place from another city/amsterdam just for food. It’s not that special. Also, it’s mainly a takeout restaurant. They have some tables but staying here for a while to enjoy your dining experience isn’t very convenient.

This is the best peruvian restaurant in the Netherlands, I have tried a few but this one has by far the best taste almost identical flavor profile as any restaurant in Peru. Feels like home!

Best peruvian restaurant in NL. I know real peruvian food and this is it do yourself a favor and eat here. My husband(peruvian) would eat here everyday if he could. You can find peruvian products and aji amarillo(a gem)

A really friendly place portions are large and very reasonably priced. The place is mainly a takeaway, but they do have three small tables inside and two high tables outside. The food was tasty and well prepared. The rolls are good, and the beef and sauce was tasty. The only thing that could have been better 1. The yuca fries. I think they cut them too thick and as such it's a very big bite of dry starch. Better to cut them thinner. 2. Chicarons could have been crispier. Apart from that, it's really good.

I love the food from Pacha Mama, I travel from Delf to Amstelveen only for their food. Really good!

Take your laundry with you and when I sat down I almost fell through the bench (now the question is ;) the food is not quite to my taste but it is well prepared. The woman who helped me was very helpful and friendly (was in a hurry)

As a Peruvian woman, I am always asked where you can really enjoy traditional Peruvian food in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. There are really only 2 places I would recommend and Pachamama is 1 of them. Look beyond the simple and unassuming place, because this (almost) hidden gem in Amstelveen is a MUST TRY for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays, because of the DELICIOUS “specials”. 🍛Food: They actually also serve Peruvian sushi and poke bowls here and it tastes great, but I would REALLY come here for the specials on Friday and Saturday. You can come here every day of the week (except Sunday) for a traditional lomo saltado or lomo saltado sandwich, but also pan con chicharron, arroz chaufa, tallarines saltado with lomo. ‼️Note: The specials are posted in advance on their Instagram page on Thursday evening or Friday morning: @pachamamaonwheels. 👀The portions are large and therefore more on the “Peruvian” side. 💃🏽My favorite specials are all the “combinados”. These are often 2-3 traditional dishes on 1 plate. Also very popular in Peru itself. My absolute recommendations are: - Tallarines a la huancaina con lomo saltado (Peruvian pasta with Peruvian cheese sauce and lomo saltado) - Ceviche - Tacu Tacu con lomo saltado (Peruvian stir-fry of (white) beans with rice, onion, tomato and lomo saltado) - Tamales (corn dough steamed in banana leaf filled with chicken) ‼️Don't forget to try the inca kola (Peruvian soft drink) and “chicha Morada” (made from purple corn) as drinks! Fancy dessert? They often also have tres leches cake in the fridge! 🏠Atmosphere: In Peru there is the term "HUA-RI-QUE". Huarique is a street language for a simple, modest and informal place where you can order delicious and authentic food. This place is exactly this: a SMALL eatery (store-like ), where you can eat inside if you are lucky and find a spot on one of the long wooden benches where you sit at the table with other people. What's nice is that you look into the kitchen when you enter! You can see how the food is prepared. ‼️Note: It takes some searching, because this eatery is located in a random mini shopping center in Amstelveen. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Service: You can order the food at the counter. There is no service. The people are friendly. It is a family business, you can see and feel that! ✅Conclusion: If you want to try the more traditional Peruvian (creole) cuisine, I can 100% recommend this “hidden gem”. I hope they make their specials daily in the near future. Or maybe Thursday? Por favor?

I am peruvian and I know what pervuvian food should taste like,we ordered parihuela ,and it was like tomate soup with seafood, i ate it because I was hungry and i ended up two days sick , vomiting for two whole days . My husband ordered lomo saltado and it was salty and for my kid I ordered saltado de pollo and it was very dry , all the 3 dishes were horrible. I will never go back to this place . I DONT RECOMMEND IT. Rice was not fresh , it was reheated . This is not a good representation of peruvian food at all.!

Wow! The best Peruvian food I have tried so far in Europe. Delicious Ebi Maki, lomo saltado like at home, very delicious bread with pork rinds. We still had to try the ceviche and the chaufa, which looked A1!!

Incredible. Tasty food, everything very rich. Attention 10. Effectiveness 10. I have tried many Peruvian restaurants and this is one of the ones I have enjoyed the most without a doubt. There were 6 of us, we ate and drank A LOT for €128. I would return without a doubt.
