We ate here at Heisa yesterday and it was a great success. The shared dining concept is great because you can try a variety of dishes. The dishes looked good and tasted delicious. The service was also good. The waitresses were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Definitely recommended!

This is a wonderful restaurant. They mainly serve seafood, and offer a wide variety of dishes, including tuna carpaccio and seafood platters. No matter what you order, you'll be guaranteed a fantastic meal.

This is truly a place that deserves 5 stars for its excellent food. I had a delicious steak tartare and a superb chicken dish. What's so disappointing is that the service was absolutely terrible. Zero attention, long waits, and, to top it all off, one very grumpy woman who practically slammed the plates down and clearly showed she didn't care for the work she was doing. Such a shame, because that's exactly what you do or don't recommend a place for. I just don't understand how, as an owner, you don't realize this. So, I had a good meal, but a bit irritated.

Zibas fillet (mashed potatoes with fish) + salad with bacon mix + blondie for dessert and cappuccino. Everything is very tasty. Atmospheric!

It's a shame we had a great time on the terrace last year, but this time it was a real disappointment. The waitress's grumpy face, the main course, which was disappointing in quantity and not very tasty. You couldn't have done anything about the many wasps and the less than ideal seating on the terrace, but it put a dampener on my birthday. I won't be coming back.

I can't fault the atmosphere; it's lovely and not too noisy. The food was good, although the meat certainly wasn't the best-prepared I've ever had. What I found most annoying was the service. They seemed very unfriendly and didn't seem to pay attention to our table at all. I find that unacceptable, especially considering the price. That's why I'm giving it three stars.

Everything was perfect! The food was sophisticated and delicious. The seating is also very comfortable by the water, overlooking the beautiful houses in a well-kept, pretty town. Friendly, fast service, and prices are completely reasonable. I would definitely come back here again.

Very mediocre, dishes sold out, confusing formula.

The service was terrible! She was extremely arrogant and threw the cutlery on the table. I had a goat cheese salad. The bacon was so hard it would have broken my teeth. The salad also had almost no flavor. The surroundings are nice, though, so I have something positive to report.

In my opinion, Heisa in Ouderkerk offers a refined culinary experience with surprising shared dining, excellent wines, and a charming terrace on the Amstel River. Warm, stylish, and unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Food was mediocre quality, location is nice steaktar certainly not good try but from Castell, or the fish from Pesca standards much higher shame the Netherlands have quite good chefs that was not the case last night I am a gourmet

Appalling service and very unwelcoming place especially when you have an allergy or intolerance. We acknowledged the risk of cross contamination but the arrogant waitress had no patience to listen to us and all we asked for was whether she could ask the chef to use a clean board and knive to cut the gravad lax. She responded very rudely, told us to imagine that 'if all guests asked for that', and then sent us away to the neighbouring restaurant. Making people with an allergy particularly vulnerable by treating them in such unfairly ways is disgusting. It's not a dietary choice, It was a simple request for meeting some basic level of customer service for people who find it already difficult to eat out and enjoy . Never again.

We had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant that left us questioning whether we were treated differently based on race. We arrived at 5:30 PM and were told there would be a 45-minute wait for a table. We agreed and let them know we would wait at the ice cream shop directly opposite the restaurant. However, we noticed that several groups of similar size (groups of four) who arrived after us were seated ahead of us. When someone from our group went back to check, the staff member repeated that our table would be ready in 45 minutes. At 6:15 PM, we returned, only to be told once again that we needed to wait 15 more minutes. I then checked the reservation list and noticed that the staff had written an incorrect time (5:45 instead of 5:30) next to our name—something not done for the other groups. At least five groups who arrived after us had no times noted, yet they were seated ahead of us. Even though there was an empty table inside, the staff insisted we continue waiting. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unfair. This was the first time we experienced something like this in the Netherlands, and it was extremely upsetting. Whether it was racism or simply how this restaurant operates, the treatment we received was unacceptable and left a very bitter impression.

Nice place on the terrace. Dishes are recommended as shared dining and always choose the next course after the course. That worked fine. Service attentive and friendly. Oh and of course delicious food!

We came for lunch today. The food was decent but unfortunately, we had to wait over 1,5 hour for our main course. For that we received a free drink. When we were seated, the table was dirty, and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The place itself could have a nice ambiance, but all in all we couldn’t feel happy with the overall experience 🙁

Way too many tables in the room! And a lot of noise. Massa is the cash register on Saturday evening. Fish platter was a real hoot for 50 euros. Definitely don't take it!! Furthermore, we had a good meal.

The food is fine. However, the reservation system is a mess. You book a table on the website for a fine dining experience. However, when we arrived early, they only offered us seats in a café behind a wobbly table. I was told that I needed to mention in the comment section that I wanted a seat in the restaurant. Busy and fun. Table in the bar area, sweet and efficient young lady serving. We are familiar with the fuss concept called shared dining, but sometimes it seems like an excuse to make it easy for the kitchen and not to coordinate. It started well with a generous tasty carpaccio and steak tartare. But then prices appear to be very high if you look at what is on offer. Scallop plus pork belly for eur 26 are 3 super small scallops (yet tasty) with 3 slices of not crispy fried bacon. So the text menu doesn't cover it all. Flat iron steak is half a portion. We had 2 and that was clearly 1 piece sliced ​​and served as 2 small portions. But the kids liked it. What was really disappointing were the spicy mussels for eur 24.50. We received a plate with exactly 14 open mussels on it. And also lukewarm in temperature. Returned. 1 minute later we got the plate back. Hot. But we suspect that it is no longer edible after being microwaved. After a not so pleasant discussion with the manager, it was taken off the bill. Just describe more clearly and deliver at the right price-quality ratio, I would say. Conclusion: cozy, good service and sometimes tasty, but sometimes also way too expensive. But it was full so people will shrug their shoulders at that last comment.

Had a pleasant evening with 2 friends with excellent food. We chose the Heisa fish dish and Iberico ham and bread with aïoli plus the necessary rosés. Everything was fine except that the brandade of my dish had less cooked potatoes and a lot of sauce (the others had less, strangely enough). Service also excellent 👍

Ate here yesterday with my wife, but we thought it was a letdown after reading all the good reviews. We go out to eat quite often, but I still felt it necessary to post a review about this: -Both dishes had an extreme amount of salt added to them -portions were very small. -price/quality ratio simply very poor Paid 120 euros and left hungry. For that amount you can really expect that you can go home satisfied / well eaten. But nothing could be further from the truth, astonishing! They call the concept "share dinning" but there is absolutely nothing to "share"...

Top tent on the Amstel, reserved inside but able to eat outside. The service is top notch, very service-oriented, friendly and with a smile on the face. Food was fine, good portions, well presented.

Heisa is a cozy restaurant with an extensive menu. The service is exceptionally friendly and makes you feel right at home. Delicious dishes and everything is actually on the table within not too long. Tatum was our hostess and I gradually came to appreciate her more and more. She continued to oversee everything in the restaurant and communicated calmly about the different options in terms of ingredients. Really very good.

Had a lovely meal here with the family last week. Food was very tasty, nice concept and personal service. Everything was great! The only downside was that some dishes were quite expensive, so to speak, price/quantity ratio, but we understand that nowadays everything has a price. Otherwise had a great evening!
