Delicious food! Generous portions, very friendly and personal service. The rendang is just right in terms of seasoning, and the smoor is also excellent.

Incredible selection of Indonesian food, some of the best we’ve ever had. The owner was super nice and even gave my girlfriend two dishes when she couldn’t decide! Really friendly and authentic food can’t recommend enough (and great value for money the portions were huge!).

Service is good, but the food can be better. Some of the food is too dry and maybe old (like the tempeh), while other ingredients (like broccoli) are very soggy.

I picked up food from Kemang. The service was smooth and the man was friendly, but that's the only positive. The dishes are very pricey and especially spicy and full of sauce, it is also quite greasy and the dishes do not look very attractive. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, although I think it has potential.

A few years ago I walked into this Indonesian take away restaurant and I got told I would never change and buy my Indonesian somewhere.. guess what.. he spoke truth. The food is extraordinary, so tasty, fresh and just good. Once you come here, you are sold. Beside the friendly, recognisable and quick service. Top! We come here often. We often get the satay and all other types of meat and vegetables. It's all equally delicious. The prices are very good and the owner is very nice and involved. It's very clean & the service is very fast. We recommend Kemang to everyone!

Absolutely wonderful, authentic Indonesian food: super fresh, perfectly spiced, cooked with love (you can taste it!), it's affordable and also, the toko is overall bright and clean. Very friendly owner, it's a family business. Seriously, the food was better, more fresh and tasty than i've experienced in some fine (expensive) restaurants over the years!

My mom and I were visiting Amsterdam and decided to try this place near our Airbnb. This restaurant serves only take out. The food was delicious and very affordable, I would definitely come back if I lived here. I’m writing this review mostly to comment on how kind the gentleman who was working there was. His wife and family in law are from Indonesia and are the ones who prepare the food every morning. My mom and I appreciated his kindness and hospitality when serving us food.

Heerlijk Indonesisch afgehaald, vriendelijke service en gewoon goed eten. Tempeh en pittige boontjes waren top! Portie had voor mij wel iets groter gemogen, maar voor nog geen 10 euro voor een afhaal maaltijd is in Amsterdam toch noemenswaardig.

Great food, with a very friendly owner. Been a regular for a while now. I usually go for the vegetarian stuff. Brown rice, tempeh, coconut veggies and pak choi. they are all good! and those vegetarian sate sticks are interesting too, Watch out for the spicey beans, they pack quite the spice! 🤘🏻 thumbsup for Kemang!

Wat lekker! Tijd geleden dat we hier 2 bakjes Indisch hebben afgehaald, het was weer heerlijk! Nasi, bami, rendang, hete kip, boontjes, heet eitje... er is meer dan voldoende keuze! En je bestelt het bij de super vriendelijke eigenaar!

Favoriet van de stad! Altijd heerlijk eten en een vriendelijke, hartelijke eigenaar. De vegan saté maakt het helemaal af.
