Best warung in the neighborhood. Super quick service and very generous portion for the cost!

The food is largely tasteless with not much flavour at all. There are better Indonesian restaurants around Amsterdam, unfortunately I can not recommend this one at all.

This shop is not honest with its closing time. On the sign outside and on Google maps it is listed as 9pm, yet when I went to pick up an order at 8:40pm it wasn’t open, and they refuse to give me my order. Terrible attitude and service.

Deliciously rich flavours, well-marinated meat, and great portions. We are visitors from out of the country and appreciated the kindness and patience of the lady of house who explained all the options. Just be aware this is a take-out only place!

First time, but not the last. For €7.50, a very fresh and delicious meal. I don't always experience that at other Asian restaurants. I'll definitely be back and hope it's just as good, if not better...

Way too dry yellow rice… how can you sell this?

Nice people. But the food sometimes tastes old. I got takeout again last week and decided that was the last time. The yellow rice was completely dried out. Like it had been cooked two days ago. No, sorry, I'm done with it.

They are a bunch of darlings, I come here weekly. The best Indo in the neighborhood! Affordable and incredibly flavorful, made by a loving family. Give it a try. They have that likeability factor too: they give away food for free to the homeless every week.

I had a very disappointing experience here. After mistakenly taking the wrong order, I returned it. Rather than resolving the situation, the staff raised their voices at me, refused to provide the meal I had paid for, and insisted I pay again. I left without my food and lost the money I spent. This was handled poorly and unprofessionally.

A really awful experience - DO NOT GO. We ordered, paid and by mistake took the wrong bag on the counter home after saying good bye multiple times. After discovering the order wasn’t ours, we went back just to be shouted at by such a rude employee who demanded we pay AGAIN for our order for their inconvience?? Absolutely ridiculous logic and customer service and we left empty handed without any food after still paying. No responsibility was taken from them for the wrong bag being taken, let alone an apology or conversation. Just patronising and rude behaviour. I still can’t believe it.

The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place. However, there’s a slight downside: they only offer takeaway options and don’t have an indoor dining area.

We recently placed a large order for lunch at the office. We had a delicious meal. You can taste that the food was made with love!

De rendang was erg droog en erg taai. Absoluut geen aanrader. De 2 kleine droge stukjes vis waren wel goed gekruid. De nasi bakar ayam en de sambal waren erg lekker. De chendol was erg zoet, dus niet te veel roeren als je het niet te zoet wil.

It is basically just pure takeout. There is nothing cozy about it. Do make sure you pay for parking. Even here, the scanning car drives around. But the food itself is great and affordable. Deliciously seasoned and full of flavor.

People expect a overflowing container for half the price at other warungs (where you easily pay 12 to 13 euros for a container). It is nice that there are now options for half that price as well. The food is delicious – my moments of treat or self-indulgence are definitely at Warung Padi!

Took a 15 min bike ride here. Great gem. Cheap eats for as low as 6.5 euro for the quick to go option. I had the 11 euro large size. Mix rice and noodles in a bigger container. 2 veggies and 2 meats. Great deal! The owners are family run and very friendly. They heated it too! Super value and 😋 omg Indonesian food is tasty

Good food, however, I would try one of the three others warungs in the neighborhood. To find the taste you like, they all differ quite a lot, this one however is not my taste.

Yesterday I picked up a container of food for the second time. When you walk in, you will first receive a friendly welcome from both the man and the woman. The food is quickly packed, heated and packed for you. All this for a very reasonable price! I will come here more often!

Food was very tasty, but the number of quantity we get was very disappointing. Placed an order for almost 100 euros and we were advised by telephone that this would be enough for 6 people. When we finally wanted to eat this order together, it turned out to be only enough for 4 people. Once again the food was very tasty, but the quantity was far too little. When we tried to discuss this with this organization by telephone, we were waved away and not helped. I quote: "It was our mistake that we ordered too little". While we were advised by telephone to place a large order that should be enough for 6 people. In reality none of that is true.

Food was fine but terribly helpful. Containers I received were half full. Only with the vegetables they were a bit more generous. Meat was very very little. We had a brief meal with 5 people, while it was indicated that this would be enough for 7 people. If you call them you will be kept on the line. Never go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You are much better off at Warung Barokah a few buildings further.

Bad service!! And rude staff! Received very little food, I called about this and was told that they didn't care. It's a shame that customers are treated so poorly.

The customer service is terrible at Warung Padi. We placed an order for five people, three of whom were able to eat normally. The rice table that we ordered cost € 17.00/pp and we received one and a half bowls of noodles that were not properly filled and one bowl of nasi... This is of course not an option when you have to eat this with five people. After telling our story, the conclusion was that we were unlucky and nothing further was done with it, really scandalous and not recommended!

I'm not really into reviews, but this is definitely one of the best Indonesian dishes I've had. I lived opposite the business and came there very regularly. In the morning when I went to work I could smell the scents of fresh Indonesian herbs coming through the street, because they were already preparing for the afternoon and evening. They have risen slightly in price over the years (just like every catering tent), but the price-quality is still excellent.

Beste toko van Amsterdam! Vaste prik is de Quickmeal voor maar €6,50. Ruime keuze uit verschillende gerechten zowel vlees, vegetarisch als groente. Aanrader! :)

Bardzo dobry street food. Lokal jest mały i nie ma stolików ale ma dobre jedzenie. Wybieramy różne makarony lub ryż jako bazę a do tego mnóstwo fajnych dodatków. Jedzenie poza centrum więc nie za drogie.

friendly people, but the price is inconsistent. 2 sate lontong plus lontong amounted to 19 euros. one order of sate lontong is supposed to be 6 euros, according to their ad on the window. we tried martabak and pastel, they were just alright. the sate lontong was pretty good.

Been here twice and they pulled the same trick. Ordering the 10e meal for two meats. Generous with the noodles and barely any meat. Or when they do, they scoop it up from the gunk at the bottom of the pile. Shameful. If you are going to serve meat, serve it. I'm not paying for noodles and paste

The street has 3 Indonesian restaurant relatively close. Their food looks similar, but this one tastes the best for me 🤷‍♂️ Staff are always friendly and helpful. The portions are more than reasonable for the price, quick meal is like 1-1.5 portions, at least for me.

Helpful staff guide customers through the many Rijsttafel options. The Rijsttafel for 2 is now over 30 euro. But the smaller options are solid deals, with the 10 euro option a good starting point, and a good size that two people could get a fair meal from (the larger options include additional selections of the yummy sides).

De dame die er werkt deed alsof ze haast had waardoor het niet echt makkelijk was om rustig een keuze uit de verschillende soorten gerechten te maken.

Goed eten voor weinig en dat nog deze tijd hoe is het mogelijk zoet zure kip is echt aan te raden !!
