What antisocial staff, it's unbelievable how you're treated. The chicken is okay if you're very patient and don't mind being treated like trash, otherwise, stay far away. I'll definitely never go back.

I haven't had any good chicken at any KFC. For that, I really go to MC. It's strange, since you expect chicken to be KFC's specialty... the fries are cold, the chicken is more like breadcrumbs, inedible...

Why are they hiring staff who can't even speak proper Dutch? KFC has no respect for its customers.

This KFC has deteriorated so much. The place is extremely dirty, the restrooms are filthy, everything is filthy. Hygienic standards are not recommended, and the kitchen staff work incredibly hard.

Terrible, came home and found the order wrong again, and for the price, you could have eaten at Van der Valk, which was almost as expensive. 1 Colonel burger, 1 box of fries with 5 chicken fillets, 4 bags of mayo, 1 orange soda, 1 cola, 26 euros paid.

Unreachable, delivery was all wrong. I could have just burned my money.

Just ordered a meal deal here through Thuisbezorgd. The food was just cold! The chicken burger, well, what do you mean by chicken? It was more breadcrumbs than chicken, and everything was cold! It looked like it came straight from the refrigerator. And I tried calling, but the number was unreachable!!! Worthless!!!!!

The restaurant is often unclean, especially the floor. The staff is disinterested in their guests. There's often a language barrier, which makes communication difficult. The quality of the food varies too much in terms of warmth, cleanliness, and flavor.

We arrived at 8:45 PM. The restaurant was supposed to close at 10:00 PM. The doors were locked, and the staff stood at the counter, watching and laughing. After waiting for five minutes, someone came over (only to open the door because a customer wanted to leave) to tell us that the manager had said they were "closed for a bit." No reason whatsoever. Disgraceful and very unprofessional.

I was helped dramatically by grumpy people. The order was wrong twice, and the food was absolutely inedible. The people I was with also got the wrong order. It was like KFC again last time.

Everything is filthy, the windows are covered in sauce, crumbs and food are everywhere, nothing is clean. I ordered an iced tea and got a Coke, the staff doesn't do anything, the fries are cold and unsalted, everything is cold. Not recommended: if you have money to burn, definitely spend it here. What a ridiculously bad restaurant this is! I've never experienced anything like it. Your food is thrown on the counter and you can't even say "enjoy your meal." They only speak in foreign languages, and the manager smokes outside on the patio during the busy period. I even spoke to him as I was leaving, and he didn't offer an apology. My order was incomplete; half was cold, half was lukewarm. I've tried several times now, but they haven't seen me since. It's okay to wait a bit longer, but the service here is absolutely ridiculous. They stand there scratching their heads and then continue eating, and the same goes for phone calls. Disgusting! There's no leadership; everyone does whatever they want. A chaotic mess. KFC, do something about this. This is out of proportion.

The last three times I've been there, one or two order terminals have always been down because they're out of printer paper. And no milkshakes are available (regardless of flavor). Lots of trash everywhere. And employees who don't even make anything.

It's ridiculous. The cashier hasn't been trained and doesn't speak Dutch. Their English is broken. I had to reorder four times. Just for the friendliness alone, I should go somewhere else!

Had to wait over an hour with my son. Then the food got cold. I ordered a children's menu that we didn't receive. It also contained other things we hadn't ordered. First time, but also the last time, at KFC!!!!

This is outrageous, the people who work here are truly awful. We got almost everything wrong. Ordered an ice cream and got a coke. People, stay away from this place, this is not the place you want to be. This is anything but a mouthwatering experience. It's because I have to give it one star. The atmosphere was terrible, and employees clearly wanted to be somewhere else. The restaurant and restrooms were a complete mess, but colleagues locked up the upstairs to sit there and do nothing. The food was fine, but it took a long time to arrive. If I were KFC, I'd send a manager over; this is ridiculous.

Where do I begin?... You're greeted outside by a dirty, weed-overgrown patio. That doesn't bode well. As you get closer, you see that all the furniture is extremely dirty and discolored by the sun. While we wait, we have a wonderful view of the staff. It's impressive to walk around so unmotivated and slowly. A feat in itself! Another special mention goes to the woman processing the online orders. At least two orders were severely compressed and crushed. That'll be an unpleasant surprise for the person who receives this order. To be fair, we didn't have to wait long. Our order was ready quickly. We hopped upstairs to look for a table. Correction, we looked for a clean table. Unfortunately, there wasn't one. After checking every table and chair, we sat down in the least dirty spot. And at that moment, you look around again. Everything, absolutely everything, is filthy. Every table, chair, doorknob, floor, etc. is sticky, and there are food scraps everywhere. The lady who came by to "clean" was more interested in her friends outside, and after her round, the place was just as dirty as before. The food wasn't bad and was ready quickly, but this place is so incredibly dirty, and the staff is so unfriendly and disinterested that we won't be returning.

What a disappointment. Paid over €21 for cold chicken and what were supposed to be "loads of fries," but no cheese sauce was in sight. They forgot the sauce for the chicken, as did the receipt and napkins. Your order was read three times, but it's still incomplete and incorrect. How hard can it be? Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened at this branch. I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.

This restaurant was going downhill, but you can tell the new manager is really trying hard and handled my complaint superbly. The food was delicious. It would be great if they ever got their Halal certification back, so I could come here with other friends.

Things like sauce are often forgotten. Then you can add it yourself.

They cannot even count the pieces of chicken they serve. I always feel obligated to count it myself now, but this is anyways the last time I order here. I always miss something or get like 80% of what I ordered... When I order a variety bucket, I paid for 10 pieces.. not 8 or 9? How hard is it to count to 10? 4 pieces boneless, 4 hotwings and 2 chicken pieces. It's always the same here.. I recommend checking everything before walking out of this place.

We had to wait an awfully long time. We did mark the order as completed to keep the average time low, even though we had to wait over an hour. No one speaks Dutch, and there was nothing but miscommunication.

The atmosphere was not pleasant at all, and everyone was grumpy because the food took so long. We waited an hour even though it wasn't busy at all inside. Furthermore, the food arrived cold and ragged, as you can see in the photo. The chicken wasn't cooked through. I wouldn't recommend anyone else go there, never again!

Ordered online, thinking I'd skip the queue and the crowds... Then I thought it would take an hour and 10 minutes. No apologies, nothing, just that they're currently short-staffed. One star is already too many.

Placed a large order online for €56. Besides the fact that my husband waited an hour and a half because they'd simply pushed our order away, half of it was missing. We were missing two medium fries, the gifts from the children's menu, the hot wings, and a crispy chicken burger. Three disappointed children, who got to choose what we were having because one of them was celebrating a birthday. We've been here before, but it's never been this bad. We won't be back.

Dirty broiler chicken? In the trash with it.

I waited in line for 25 minutes for two milkshakes and an ice cream. When I finally got my order, it was already melted. I'd previously seen the employee try to give the same order to the car in front of me. That customer rightly refused, because it wasn't his, but mine. When I pointed this out to the employee, she denied it. Only after I kept insisting did she give me new items, but she did so with a grumpy attitude.

Young staff were just chatting, which was obvious to us as customers. Furthermore, the order was incomplete. Garbage bags weren't cleared away immediately and were piled up on the stairs below.

You always have to wait so long at the drive before it's your turn. Half an hour is nothing.

The food they do have is good, but half of it is never there. Don't be in a hurry, because it will take 40 minutes for your order to be ready. It's faster to drive to Deventer and order there. Then you'll be ready in the same time.

I'm absolutely disappointed with my recent experience at this KFC. We received a completely incorrect order, and when we returned to discuss it, we were told there was nothing wrong with the order—as if we had invented the problem. Delivered 45 minutes after preparation, almost everything was cold. I had indicated that no individual Korean hot wings were delivered and whether they could prepare some of my hot wings Korean-style. If not, that would be fine too, but then I received the receipt with "no, you looked at the wrong thing (signature)"? Maybe double-check this yourself before telling customers this with a signature? 🤨

Fast food. 40 minutes waiting for 1 burger and 1 shake. After 20 minutes, you haven't forgotten me. No, sir. Another 20 minutes later... And then your order is wrong. Never again...

Bad service. I arrived to order, and then it turned out they were out of chicken. How can that be in a chicken restaurant? Then you couldn't get burgers anymore because they also had chicken in them. I love KFC chicken wings. Staff is foreign and it seems they don't speak Dutch? I am a foreigner and I like this. They are much nicer than other shops where young white native Dutch are extremely rude.

We had take out, just a simple menu. Variety Bucket, Colonel Stacker, some fries… that’s it. It took them over 30 minutes to make. The taste was good but not KFC-crispy. The fries were salted fine but limp as all hell. The atmosphere in the kitchen was awful. This was not a solid team helping each other out but giving each other the stink eye more than once. The order screen running AlohaKitchen software crashed so they had to do call outs and 445 turned into 454 and 429 turned into 492, fantastic. 🤣

This is absolutely unacceptable. The ordering kiosks are broken, the information screen is showing an error, no cola, no fries sauce, dirty tables, overflowing trash cans, and staff members talking to each other in an unintelligible language. I've never seen such a bad KFC. You won't see me there again.

This has gotten really bad. They're simply stealing by selling large menus, but you get a small one, and they only react when you raise an issue. The chicken was tough, and the staff is focused on each other instead of the customer.

You can practically forget the "fast" in fast food at this KFC... There are five or six people in the kitchen, but the serving process is as slow as thick shit... through a funnel. Several items were missing from the sandwiches. For the third time in a row, it was another disappointment. I'm completely done with this KFC!

My burger was ready 10 minutes before the fries and crispy tenders were ready. I've been to several KFC restaurants. But none was as bad as this one.

If you ever want to know what it feels like to be completely ignored, go to KFC Apeldoorn. We waited over an hour, as if they still had to catch, slaughter, and reinvent the chicken. What do you get? A wrong order, everything cold, and everything shoved together in one pathetic bag as if you were ordering a garbage can instead of food. No apology, no smile, no idea what they're even doing there. This wasn't a meal, this was an insult. KFC Apeldoorn, you're a parody of yourselves. Just close the place down and do something else. Fast food? This was slow chaos.

Tonight, I was hoping our child would be happy with KFC, but what a huge disappointment. Inside, the trash cans were overflowing, and the staff was gathering outside with their friends and family. The food was of poor quality. A word of advice: you're better off eating at McDonald's, where things aren't quite up to par either, but the staff still work there, what a mess they are.

Vroeger kwam ik hier altijd omdat ik de maïs heel lekker vond, maar die is nu niet meer verkrijgbaar samen met andere dingen zoals family buckets en chicken popcorn. Ik had drie dubbel crunch burgers besteld en toen ik thuis dat ging eten bleek het een oplichterij te zijn, er zaten drie zielige kleine stukjes kip in die niet eens crunchy waren, een paar druppels saus en helemaal geen sla. Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld.

Wow...this was a whole new level. So bad! 3/4 employees to 30 customers. Too busy, too hot, and quite a few order mistakes were made. Items were missing, and employees simply laughed at irritated customers. I looked around in astonishment. Our order wasn't quite right either. The burger wasn't complete, and the large menus were small. Ordered incorrectly (mentioned three times to avoid misunderstandings)...and then they still took the wrong order? Furthermore, it was DIRTY. The tables outside were absolutely filthy. Food scraps and packaging littered the grounds. Overflowing trash cans. The atmosphere was great...not really. We'll be going elsewhere from now on. Yuck!

A truly terrible KFC. In the 15 minutes we waited for our order, not a single one was delivered complete or correct. And yes, ours didn't turn out right either. Milkshakes were unavailable because the machine was broken. They don't deliver to your table on weekends. I don't think the people packing/preparing the orders have a clue what they're doing.

I do have to say, however, that at this location, the order was correct, unlike other locations where everything is consistently wrong. Zeer slecht! Alles is kapot van het interieur. Kipnuggets besteld. Na 15 min wachten met drie kinderen is de bestelling klaar en wordt er kenbaar gemaakt dat ze geen kipnuggets meer hebben. Personeel zeer onbeleefd en praten alleen Engels.

On our way home we got a chicken at KFC Apeldoorn. Are you going to Zwolle/Groningen? Then just keep driving. This is not worth it. Almost all customer orders were wrong (ours lacked sauce and towels), the milkshakes were gone, the juice we ordered was gone (we did get our money back), the bins were overflowing, the tables were not cleaned, we waited more than half an hour for our food, lots of fruit flies at the cup waste bin, dirty toilets without toilet paper. The chicken was ok - a bit dry. There - enough whining. It just wasn't good. No.

I don't know what KFC Apeldoorn thinks it is exactly, but it's definitely not a fast food restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes for a simple order, I seriously started to wonder if they still had to catch, slaughter and pluck the chickens there. And as if that wasn't enough: the chicken I eventually got seemed to have been eaten. Seriously. There were literally bites out of it as if the employee couldn't wait and wanted to taste it himself. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also great. One big chaos, staff walking around like headless chickens and a manager was also not present. Or he must have hidden in the toilet. Which I would understand because this restaurant is something to be ashamed of. If you're looking for a place to practice patience and disappointment, this is your Valhalla. For anyone who just wants to eat: drive to another restaurant.

It looked like it had been run over, totally crushed and cold and filled again with sauce. And after all that smearing you get 2 napkins. For lunch it is sometimes chicken from KFC. But that is your chicken not cooked properly yuck. But compared to Canada and America there you can also eat well for the evenings food there you get so much with it. Like macaroni salad. Fries. gravy and cabbage salad for a nice price here you only get chicken nothing compared to there strange hear. Can you take an example of that or go and take a look

Why do you indicate that the drive through is open when it is closed? A lot of people drive your way because of this and can go home with an empty stomach....

Disappointing experience at KFC Apeldoorn My visit to KFC Apeldoorn was downright bad. The staff seemed disinterested and disorganized. Orders are delivered slowly and incompletely, and it seems as if no one takes responsibility for the service. There is clearly a lack of good leadership and structure. This branch is in dire need of professional management that understands what customer friendliness and efficiency means. Quality and service are far below the level that you would expect from an international chain like KFC. Hopefully the head office will intervene, with an experienced team that better represents Dutch standards and customer expectations. Until then: they won't see me back here.
